Prologue: Taken
Much time has passed in the galaxy. Humans have found the world of Equestria and have made an alliance with the creatures. They are humanoid, yes, but bare a resemblance to horses. They call the selves equestrians. They are extremely friendly-all three different species. Some have wings with the ability to fly, others have horns with extremely strange abilities. And the rest have no special physical attachment, however they are amazingly strong-as strong as the specially augmented humans. However, they need to join forces as the Covenant threat grows significantly larger. Now, the humans turn to their newfound friends for help, and with a special agreement, the humans have permission to use equestrians in research and the Spartan program, which requires them to use and make new suits of Spartan armor. However, humans still need to use young subjects. A certain three excel greatly. Now, these two races are the only things that can save the galaxy.

"Alright, squirt. You ready?" Rainbow says, flexing her muscles.
"Of course!" Scootaloo replies. "What are we gonna do?"
"Well, now that you got your wings, I'll take you up for a training flight."
Scootaloo's eyes turn into stars. "Really!? Wow!!"
"Yup! And I thought that now that you have your wings, we can fly together! Hey, maybe one day you can become like me!"
"Really! You think so?!"
"Of course! You may not have been able to fly as soon as the others, but I think that you may, one day, be just like me...if not, better."
"You think I can become better than you!!?"
"Yeah! Of course!" A human in a U.N.S.C. uniform approaches Rainbow-Dash and holds up a paper. They start talking to each other. Rainbow starts to shift uncomfortably. She starts to freak out as the man tries to calm her down. "You can't!" she yells. The man simply shows her the paper. Rainbow starts to cry. She turns around with tears in her eyes and gets down on one knee to Scootaloo's level. "Hey Scoots...we won't be training today."
"What's going on?" Scootaloo asks. "I'm worried!"
"This man is going to take you somewhere. I need you to follow him and do what he says."
"Rainbow..?" Scootaloo starts to quiver and cry, too.
"You're going to help me...and Twilight...and Rarity and Applejack and Pinkie and Fluttershy and everyone else. You're going to become a Spartan and you are going to defend us all from the Covenant."
"When will I ever see you again?" Scootaloo is broken down in tears as well as Rainbow.
"I don't know... but no matter what happens to you or me... I ill still love you." A short pause happens before Rainbow places a hand on Scootaloo's shoulder. "Scoots?"
Scootaloo looks into Rainbow's eyes. "Yes..?"
"You're my hero..." Scootaloo lets out a gasp. They pull each other into an embrace and cry viciously over each other's shoulders. "I have something to give you..." Rainbow reaches in her pocket and pulls out a chain. She gently pulls away and gives her the chain. It has two dog-tags on the end of it. "These are my dog-tags I was given when I joined the Wonderbolts... Now I want to give them to you."
"Thank you... I hope to see you sometime...g..g-goodbye..."
"Cya later, squirt..." Rainbow give Scoots one last hug before the man takes her away.

"Well," Apple-Jack starts,"are ya ready ta git goin', Apple-Bloom?"
"Yup! Ah got mah things packed and ready ta go campin'!" she replies.
"Yeah, sugarcube, Ah'm purty excit'd mahself." There is a knock at the door. "Hold on. Ah'll git the door." Apple-Jack walks over to the door and swings it open. A human man in a U.N.S.C uniform is there holding a sheet of paper. "May Ah help ya?" she asks.
"Yes you can. If I understand correctly, you are the legal guardian for this young one?" he says pointing to Apple-Bloom.
Apple-Jack suddenly changes from a cheerful face to a serious, weary one. "And just what're ya tryna git at here?"
"Ma'am, with all due respect, please answer the question and you will find out."
"Yes...and what do you want?"
"Well, take this paper and read it through." He hands her the sheet. She takes it and reads it.
"...U.N.S.C. ... Covenant war...Spartan Program...eviction? Ya wanna take her away?!"
"It's not me, madam, it is orders of the U.N.S.C. Personally, I'd rather this not happen. I'm just doing my job." just then, Apple-Bloom walks into the room.
"Whatsa matter?" she asks.
Apple-Jack takes a step forward, pushing the man behind the door's threshold and stepping outside, herself. "Hold on, sweetie...the grown-ups need to have a talk."She rolls up her sleeves then shuts the door. A few minutes later, the door gets thrown off if its hinges as several other men walk in. One goes to grab Apple-Bloom who is freaking out and punches him square in the jaw in self-defense, knocking him on the ground, out cold. Two others grab each if her arms and carries her out as she thrashes around, trying to free herself. As she is dragged out if the door, she sees several men restraining Apple-Jack.
The men holding Apple-Bloom set her in the back if a vehicle and lock a barred door as Apple-Jack frees herself from the men and runs over to the barred doors. She grabs on to the door and starts to talk to Apple-Bloom, both if them crying.
"Now, Apple-Bloom, these men are gonna take you to a large place where they will do experiments on you. Don't be scared, you will be fine and they will make you a soldier. You will be able to protect the farm and me in ways none of us could have before. Remember, sweet-heart., I will always love you, no matter what happens. Ah don't know when Ah'll see you again...if Ah ever do. But if this is the last thing Ah say to you, it's that we will always love you..." The vehicle drives off and a few men are still holding AJ back until they were out if sight.

"Oh, oh, can I help?" Sweetie-Belle asks her sister, Rarity.
"Just gimme a second..." Rarity replies, focusing her manic greatly on the needle she is using. "Done!" she chimes. "Now, do you really wanna help?"
"Yes yes yes!"
"Alright! Can you be a dear and go upstairs? There is a little box I have in my room made out of wood. It has some things I need in it to finish this dress." As soon as she finishes, Sweetie-Belle sprints upstairs. A few seconds later, she comes back down with the box. She hands it to Rarity. "Perfect! Thank you, darling."
"Anything else?"
"Not at this moment, no, but later there will be."
"Okay." Just then the door bell rings.
"Can you get that?" Rarity asks. No sooner had she said that, Sweetie was at the door.
"Ummm...I think it's for you," Sweetie replies.
"Well who is it?"
"It is a human man...in an army outfit."
"I'll be there shortly." After a few more stitches, Rarity briskly walks to the door. "May I help you, sir?"
"Yes," he replies. "I need to ask you some questions."
"Alright..."
"You are the legal guardian for this young child, right?"he asks, pointing to Sweetie-Belle.
"Indeed. Where, exactly, are you going with this?"
"Well, being as the Covenant are closing in, we need all the help we can get, and -- well you remember the agreement between us humans and you equestrians about the Spartan Program?"
"Yes...are you saying-"
"Yes I am. If you don't believe me, here is a document to show the legal proof. I am highly sorry, however, young children's -- or fillies' as you call your kind -- bodies are more accepting of the augmentation process that they undergo during the program -- in short, it's more effective. If it were, personally, up to me, I'd not have it this way, but it must be done, ma'am."
"Oh...well...I don't know what to say..."
"What's going on?" Sweetie-Belle asks.
"Ummm...may I have a minute with her, sir?" Rarity asks the man.
"Sure thing. I understand."
Rarity takes Sweetie a few steps back and starts to talk to her. "Well, I know you aren't stupid, and I also know that you know of the alien threat to us all, right?"
"Yeah..?"
"And you remember the document signed between Celestia and the humans regarding the thing they call the Spartan Program, right?"
"Are you saying that they are going to take me away to become a spartan?!"
"...In short..." Rarity sighs. "Yes... I can't make any way around it, darling, and I'm terribly sorry. I have no power over this."
"But I don't want to go!"
"Look, honey, you are always wanting to help me, right?"
"Yeah..." Sweetie starts to sniffle.
"Well, if you go, you will be helping me. Because if the aliens get us all, then there will be no Carousel Boutique. Or Sweet Apple Acres. Or anything. One spartan can make a world of difference in any war. I know this is hard on me and you...but it must be done. I don't know when I'll see you again...or if I ever will. But if not, J want you to know that I will love you no matter what."
Sweetie is in tears along with her older sister. "O...okay..." They hug eachother before the man walks in and lays a hand on Sweetie's shoulder.
"It'll be okay," he assess her."And I promise you that you will see your family again one day. Come on. Hanging around it longer will make it harder to leave."
"He's right, darling," Rarity says.
"Good-Bye..," Sweetie says.
"Good-Bye..," Rarity replies before the man takes Sweetie away.
