Prologue: The Lake

Silence.

That was all that could be heard as he looked on to the luscious green grass that surrounded the lake. The sun's ray beamed down to it, much like a spotlight. The lake seemed to beckon him in; it was so light, even in the darkness of the forest. Everywhere he looked, there were trees. Nothing but trees. Then, there was the lake; the beautiful, blue lake, so beautiful, a sign of hope in eternal darkness, blue in a thousand shades of green, beautiful, yet feisty. Oh, so, so, feisty.

He stared at it and grinned. The tropical lake in the verdant forest. Yes, who would suspect it to hold such great danger? Of course, it wasn't dangerous now. It would be soon, though. It would hold something that could change this forest forever. But, of course, now was not the time. Now, he had to gather resources. Gold - lots of it, too. Tens in thousands of gold blocks, purely gold. He knew, luckily, exactly where to find it. He wasn't, however, going to mine it. Instead, he could get twenty gold blocks from a pony.

Yes, a pony. See, the spectra in a pony would harden if burned, into a substance that, if mixed with sugar, water, and a drop of lava, would turn into a gold ingot. Ponies would produce a certain type of gold that would expand if enchanted, and that meant he would have enough to call back his master once and for all. But this could not be done yet. The ponies would give more spectra if comfortable with their surroundings. He would have to wait a while, yet always be ready to pounce, and be able to take them all at once. He would watch them day and night, whenever he could, and wait. He had already done a lot of this, however, as he needed to calculate a way for them to open a portal. He had a good, foolproof plan for now, as well as a backup and one final extra plan, in case his backup failed.

He would soon carry the first one out, but he needed time. Still, he couldn't wait, though he had to. Soon, he would carry out his plan. Soon, he would bring back his master and rejoice. He would throw a party, and his master would surely thank him for bringing him back. He would be given something, he knew it. Yes, he could see it now; his master, smiling and laughing, giving him a pat on the back, asking him what he wanted, promising to give him one thing. His master would be happy with him, and the worlds would rejoice. There would be peace soon, happiness, and good brought back to the lands once his master Herobrine's reign would continue.

Now, thought the enderman, where are the ponies I shall kill?
