//-------------------------------------------------------// With New Darkness Comes New Light -by SilverWolfFTW- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prolouge //-------------------------------------------------------// Prolouge Ella sat in the clearing, the trees covering around her, hiding her campsite. She was roasting a marshmallow on a stick she had found by the stream nearby. Next to her sat her best friend, and the love of her life, Starflare. Her and that Umbreon have been together ever since she was 11 years old, and she truly loved him with all her heart. However, because she loved a pokemon rather than a human, she was on the run from the law.      There was a rustling from the bushes to the right of the two. Both Ella and Stareflare lept up, ready to face whatever it was. However, all that came out of the bushes was Sparx, Ellas Jolteon and Starflare's younger Sister. Sparx was breathing hevily and had one paw held up like it was hurt.w      "They're comming." She breathed out before collapsing.      Ella and Starflare instantly shot up, The latter using his physic powers to pack up their tent and extinguish the fire while the former returned Sparx to her pokeball before picking up her bag and packing everything up.      "Lets go!" Ella said, taking off in to the woods with Starflare right by her side.      At that moment, two police officers, both by the name of Jenny, lept in to the clearing. One had a Growlithe at her side, while the other was riding an Arcinine.      "Growlithe, Arcinine, sniff them out. We're not letting them get away this time."      Both dog pokemon put their noses to the ground, sniffing. As soon as they caught the scent, they took off. The jenny who owned the Growlithe jumped on to the Arcinine with the other Jenny.      "Go get them, Arcinine!" The first Jenny called. "Extreemspeed, Growlithe and Arcinine!"      Both dogs took off at alarming speeds, easily catching up to Ella and Starflare.      "Stop! Ella, you are under arrest for pokephila!"      "In your dreams!" Ella screamed. She then gave a loud whistle. There was a wooshing sound as a Talonflame swooped down from the sky. Ella and Starflare jumped on to the Talonflame.      "Talonstrike," She yelled out. "Air Cutter!"      The flame-bird reacted instantly, shooting blades of air at the Jennys. It then took off into the sky, swooping low over the treetops.      "Nice job, Talonstrike!" Ella said to the flame bird pokemon.      Talonstrike cawd in response, climbing higher in to the sky. He then dove down to what had become a large open field, landing lightly and letting the two passengers off.      "Thanks, Talon." Ella said, hugging the Talonflame      It was then that a booming voice was heard.      "Rest now, my children. When you awake, a new world shall be your home."      And Ella passed out. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1      Ella opened her eyes and streached. Her head hurt like she had been hit by a Cross-Chop, and her whole body felt odd and distorted. She tried to stand up and instantly fell over. She tried again, and got the same result. She tried one last time, and noticed that her back was being weighed down by something. Looking over her shoulder, she noticed she had something she never thought she would see.      A large, brown and white tail. The tail of an Eevee.      It took all of Ella's willpower to not pass out again. Instead, she let out her fear in a loud, terrified scream. Her normally calm demenor had entirely vanished, and she was more confused than she had ever been in her life. Ella looked down at her hands and saw, not normal human hands, but small brown paws, one of which had a pearl braclet on it with a hole where her keystone had been before. She checked her entire self over, and was able to confirm that she had, in fact, turned in to an Eevee. She also noticed that her Pokeballs containing her pokemon and her bag had all vanished.      "How in the name of Arceus did this happen?!" Ella shreiked.      There was a wooshing sound behind Ella. She turned around and saw what she could only descirbe as a red ponyta with a gold, non-fire mane. The wierdest part was that it had wings.      "Are you okay, little guy?" The Ponyta cooed. "Are you lost? I heard a scream, and came here."      Ella scowled. "I'll have you know that I am a girl! But... yes, im lost..."      "Whats does 'Ee eevee eev eevee eevee, eev, ee eevee' mean?" The red ponyta asked.      Ellas eyes instantly snapped up at the ponyta in shock. "Y-You can't understand me?!" She asked worridly. "But, all pokemon can understand each other? Does that mean your not a pokemon?"      The ponyta scooped up Ella in his hooves. "You seem lost and confused, little one." He said. "Dont worry, I will get you to my campsite and give you some food."      As if on que, Ellas stomach growled. "I forgot," She mumbled. "I haven't eaten since this morning."      The ponyta laughed a little bit and flew off in what seemed like a random direction. after a few minutes, he swooped down and landed in a small clearing in the grass. In the middle was a tent and the remains of a camp fire.      The winged ponyta set Ella down on the ground and trotted in to the tent, comming out with two plates of food balancing on his wings.      "Here you go, little guy." He smiled. "Eat up. Theres an apple, two small oranges, and a bananna. I don't know what you normally eat, but judging by your teeth id say you at least had some meat in your diet."      He sat for a few seconds before what he said had fully processed. "Oh my gosh! Y-You eat meat! Please, don't eat me! Wait, you too cute to eat me. Oh what am I going to do?! I brought a carnivor to my camp! Storm is going to kill me for this!"      Before the ponyta could contiue, a loud, hawk like shriek was heard from above. Ella looked up and saw a large, red and white bird with a flame-like pattern.      "Talonstrike!" Ella yelled. "Down here!"      The Talonflame dove down, then hovered over Ella in a threatining pose.      "Who are you, and how do you know my name?" He cawed, glaring down at her. Ella looked up at him fiercly, not backing down an inch.      "Its me, I'm Ella! I don't know what happened, but I turned in to an Eevee!" She said, worried that Talonstrike might atack. Talonstrike glared down at her before finally believing her and giving her a hug with his large wings.      The ponyta finally came to his senses and looked at the large fire bird. "Do... Do you know this bird, little... fox creature?"      Ella nodded, continuing her talk with Talonstrike. "This... thing here apperently isnt a pokemon." She said. "He can't understand me, but I can understand him."      Talonstrike looked at the the winged ponyta, lanidng on the ground. "Thank you for helping my trainer, winged ponyta."  He said, though all the ponyta heard was the Talonflames cry. He took it the wrong way, and backed up. "P-Please, I didn't hurt your friend!" He said. "D-Don't hurt me, please!"      Ella giggled, finding it funny that the Ponyta thought that Talonstrikes thank you was a threat. Before she could inturrupt, however, a blue blur came down from the sky and slammed in to Talonstrike, pinning him down. Ella saw that it was another winged ponyta, however this one was blue with a grey mane and tail. The mane and tail style was also different, and the it looked more like a girl.      "What are you doing, threatining my coltfriend, you stupid bird!" the blue Ponyta yelled. Her voice confirmed that she was in fact a girl.      "Calm down, blue ponyta!" Yelled Ella, leaping up and trying to knock the ponyta off of her friend. However, she was too light to do anything more than distract her. But that was all the chance Talonstrike needed. He pushed the blue ponyta off of himself, spreading his wings and taking to the air.      "Flame Charge!" He yelled. The flames surrounded him, making him even more intimidating. The new pony took a step back before Ella called Talonstrike off.      "Thats enough, you big bird. Get down here."      Talonstrike ended the attack, flying down and landing behind Ella. The two ponytas looked at her feafully. Despite being small and fluffy, she had just called off the bird, like she owned it. A bird that had light itself on FIRE!      "Who are you?" the blue ponyta asked.      "I," Ella said. "Am Ella Cordon." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2      The two ponies looked at Ella, this time with more question in their gazes then fear. "Wait a second... Can you... Understand us?" Asked the blue ponyta.      "That sounded a lot cooler in my head. If only they could understand me." Ella thought, but replied to the question.      "Yes, I can. I'm not some animal." Huffed Ella with a nod. Talonstrike nodded as well.      "But we can't understand you?" Said the red ponyta as more of a statement than a question.      Ella nodded again, beginning to really believe that these creatures wern't pokemon.      "Well... I think we need Flare Moon." Said the blue ponyta. "But i still don't trust these things!"      "Calm down, sweetie. The little fluffy one was so sweet. I even shared some food with it." The red one said.      "You WHAT?!" Yelled the blue one.      "I gave it some food. It looked lost and i heard its stomach growl." Said the red one.      "Cloud Ace, why would you do that!"  Asked the blue one angrily. "It could have hurt you!"      Ella grumbled in annoyence at being called an "it".      "Im right here, you know. And im a girl!" She said, fully understanding that the two couldn't understand her.      The blue one turned to Ella. "Alright, fine. We will trust them for now. Lets start this meeting over. I'm Rainstorm Cloud, but most of my friends call me Storm. This is my Coltfriend, Cloud Ace."      "What i wouldn't give for Velvets physic powers right about now." Said Ella sadly. She began using a paw to write in the dirt. Eventually, she managed to write (rather sloppily) the words, My name is Ella Cordon. I'm supposed to be a human. I am a pokemon trainer.      "What the hay is a pokemon?" Asked Storm.      Ella was confused at the fact they didn't know what a pokemon was, but wrote, A pokemon is a creature with amazing powers. Some have the ability to control the elements, and a few of the speically powerful and rare ones known and legendarys can warp space and change time, along with other things.      Storm and Cloud looked at the Eevee in shock.      "Control the elements?"      "Warp space?"      "Change time?"      Needless to say, they were very confused.      "So... You and that bird are Pokemon?" Asked Storm. Yes. The birds name is Talonstrike, and his species is Talonflame. I sometimes call him Talon, though. I am also a pokemon known as Eevee, but im supposed to be a human. Humans are... Well... do you have monkies here?      The two nodded.      Well, think of a monkey that stands on two legs and has no fur except for a patch on their heads. And they always wear cloths.      "That image looks pretty stupid." Said Storm. "A hairless ape?"      "Yeah, i can't really see that. We have never even heard of pokemon or humans. Are you pulling some kind of trick on us?" Cloud questioned.      What? No, no, not at all! I'm telling the truth! Ella wrote. And... No pokemon? But, pokemon are everywhere on Earth! How can there not be pokemon here?      "Earth?" Asked Cloud. "Sorry to tell you, but this isnt Earth. We are in Equestria on the plannet Eqqus. Wait a second... You're... You're from another world!"      Another world!? Ella wrote. But how! I was just in the forest and I passed out and woke up here!      "No idea." Said Cloud. "But your welcome to stay with us for now. I have a friend that can help us understand each other."      Ella nodded and curled up, about to sleep. She felt a large, warm wing wrap around her as Talonstrike began to lay down to.      "Guess that Flame Body ability comes in handy, huh?" Ella said to the bird, remembering the countless times he had kept her warm like this when they were on the run. Talon just cooed lightly in response before falling asleep. ................................................................................................................................................      The next morning, Ella awoke to the smell of eggs and toast. She stood up and and streched. After a large yawn, Ella noticed that Talonstrike was sitting on a chair by a tree stump, a plate of food in front of him.      "Save any for me, fether brain?" Asked Ella jokingly.      "Yes, I did, Ella." Said Talonstrike, pulling up another chair. "Here, have the rest of mine. All I had was the toast. Eating eggs, to me at least, it a curse to all bird pokemon.      "Okay, suit yourself." Ella said. "Too bad they dont have any ketchup..."      Ella ate the eggs quickly, then looked around for Cloud and Storm. She eventually saw a note left on the tent, saying that they had gone to get a friend of theirs named Flare Moon to help solve our communacation problem. Ella sat and waited for a few minutes before there was a flash of light just outside the clearing. Ella stood up, prepared to face whatever came out, but saw only a new pony along with Cloud and Storm. She guessed this new pony was Flare Moon. She was purple, with a puffy light and dark red mane. Sticking out of the mane was a horn, similar to a Rapidash.      "Hi there, Ella. I was told you needed help with your communication. I can fix that. Oh, i have so many questions to ask you!" Flare said, her horn gaining a dark blue aura around it, before a wave of energy swept through the clearing. The ponies didnt seem to notice anything, but Ella and Talon felt an annoying tingle in their throats. As soon as the wave of energy passed, the feeling vanished.      As soon as the feeling was gone, Ella lept at Flare Moon, growling. "What did you do to me?!" She screamed.      "Yes! The translation spell worked!" Flare said excitedly, not even caring about Ella.      "Translation spell?" Talon asked.      "Yup! Its a magic spell that allows creatures of different races who speak different languages to understand each other. Now we can understand what you tell us!"      Ella looked at Flare Moon, her eyes wide. "Woah woah woah, wait a second. You can understand me?"      "Yup! Alright, I have some questions."      Flare Moon pulled out a paper from Arceus knows where and began reading of the list.      "First question. What is your full name?"      "Ella Farland Cordon."      "Where are you from?"      "Lavender Town, Kanto Region, planet Earth."      They continued like this for about an hour, with Flare asking questions and Ella answering them. Eventually Ella had explained the basics of pokemon, their types, abiliteys, attacks, ect.      "Alright. Thats really all I need to know. Thanks, Ella!" Flare finished. "Now that thats out of the way, lets go ahead and get to know each other better. My name is Flare Moon, Fillydelphias best expert on stars, planets, and everything in between. My job is to study stars and planets to find evedence of life, though you are proof of that. I also, however, work part time as an electronics worksmare."      "Well," Ella smiled. "I am Ella, one of Earths most... One of Earths many pokemon trainers." She corrected. The other ponies were confused at the sudden change, but ignored it. "My job is to train and take care of pokemon to help them become stronger alongside me."      Talon sat down, as did Cloud and Storm. The ponies told Ella about each of the three races of ponies, Pegasi like Cloud and Storm, Unicorns like Flare, and Earth Ponies, who didnt have wings or horns, but had a special connection to the earth and extreme ammounts of stanima and strength. All three ponies had a kind of magic, Unicorns being able to cast spells, Pegasi for controlling weather and standing on clouds, and Earth Ponies to efficently grow crops and work non-stop for hours.      "Then there are Alicorns." Started Flare Moon. "They are a mix of all three races. There are four known alicorns. Princess Celestia, who raises the sun, Princess Luna, who raises the moon, Princess Cadence, who is the princess of love, and Princess Twil-"      And then they were inturrupted by a loud voice in their heads. "Greeting citizens of Eqqus, both old and new. I am lord Arcues, creator of the pokemon realm. You have no reason to fear me, I come in peace." "A-Arcues?" Ella stammered. "H-How?!" "I have revealed myself to inform you that i am the one responcible for the pokemons presence in this world. For the citizens of Equus, pokemon are the creatures who have appeared over the past few days." "I have my reasons for bringing them here, and to the leaders I will reveal them in time, but for now a warning. The Pokemon, while some may not seem it, are just as intellegent as any race who calls Eqqus home, and, seeing as how they are my subjects, I will not tolerate them being treated any differently than you would treat your fellow Pony, Griffin, Minotaur, Diamond Dog, Changling, Deer, Hippocampi, Zebra, Horse, Buffalo, Cow, Donkey, or Dragon, depending on whichever race you belong to."      "Thats a lot of races..." Ella whispered. "To my pokemon, I say this. I brought you, all of you, here so that you coud live in peace. Do not seek harm to the natives of this world, for I am the one responcible for your displacment." And to the pokemon who went through changes when I  brought you here, I say this."      Ella knew he was now talking about her transformation in to a pokemon. Maybe there was a way to go back? "You are the ones who proved themselves worthy, those who were fair, kind, and good in the old world. Consider this your reward. And to all of you, as sapients, the laws of Eqqus and the varying countries now apply to you and only the laws of Eqqus."      Ella instantly smiled, knowing what that ment. An image of Starflare came in to her mind, before Arcues's voice replaced it again. "That is all for now, but just to be clear, the Pokemon are not to be harmed out of spite. If you have a problem with what I have done, feel free to contact me. I currently rside in a temple deep in the Everfree Forest, or a pocket demension outsid the space-time continuum. So if anyone of you wish to face the sheer power of a god, feel free to come by."      "I can FEEL him smirking on that one." Commented Talonstrike with a smirk of his own. "Goodbye for now, though I doubt this will be the last you hear of me, and peace to you all." And all hell broke loose... Okay, so maybe it wasnt that bad...      "Ella!" Yelled Storm, pinning her down and glaring angrily at her. ...I stand corrected.      Ella took a step back in shock from the force of the yell, but explained to Storm and the other ponies. "Arceus is our God, pretty much. Im guessing he didn't like how things were going at home, so he said 'Screw it, I'm taking the good 'mon and leaving.'"      Storm nodded, calming down slightly. "Sorry... Its just... Due to a past experience, having voices in my head always translates to something bad. And no, I'm not going to say what happened."      Ella closed her mouth, which held that exact question, before nodding and falling silent.      Flare and Cloud looked at each other, then at Ella and Talonstrike, then at each other again.      "Come on." They said in unison.      "Where are we going?" Asked Talonstrike, egear to get some wind beneath his wings again.      Flare looked up at the large bird. She smiled before saying, "To talk to a god." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3      After walking for the remainder of the day, two pokemon and three ponies reached the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. The sun was beginning to set, but Flare didn't care. She waltzed right in to the forest, unaware that a pair of dark green eyes were watching their every move. A large, wooden wolf. ................................................................................................................................................      "Great. Now we are lost in the middle of the night, in the Everfree! Thanks Flare!"      The red stallion grumbled in anger. "Im supried we haven't been attacked by Timberwolves yet!"      Ella and Talon froze and looked at Cloud. "You do know what you have just done, right?" they said together.      "What did I do?" Cloud said in a similar fashion to a certian blue siren.      Ella facepalmed. Facepawed? Whatever, she hit her face.      "If my running from the law has shown anything, its to not tept fate." She said to herself, before saying out loud, "You... You have doomed us all."      It was at that exact moment that a large pack of dog-like creatures lept from the bushes and surrounded the group.      "Timberwolves!" Shouted Cloud, taking off in to the air. "Fly away, you guys!"      Ella lept on to Talonstrike, ready to fly off, when she saw that Storm was struggling to lift up Flare. However, the wolves were already surrouding her, making it impossible to dive in and save them.      And then a large blast of fire came from the trees. The fire blasted away the wolves, buning them to a few small piles of ashes, which Talonstrike blew away with his Gust attack.      "Whos there?!" Ella yelled, leaping off of the now-landed Talonflame.      "E-Ella?" Said a smooth voice. "Is that you?"      "I know that voice!" Talonstrike said, swooping in to the trees. He came out holding a large, silver fox in his talons.      "Velvet!" Ella yelled, leaping to the fox and giving her the biggest hug she could, considering she was a Eevee.      "Ella? You... You're an Eevee?" Said the Shiny Ninetails. "Oh! Thats what Arceus ment by the 'Humans who had gone through changes'! It all makes sense now!"      Ella giggled a bit before leaping off of the fox and landing on her four feet, a little clumsily considering she was still getting used to walking on four feet.      "Yeah. We were actually going to talk to him about all... this." She gestured to the ponies and her new pokemon form. "Wanna come?"      Ella knew that Velvet would come without hesitation, and was proven right when she wagged her tails and leapt to her side.      "You expected me to leave you? Not a chance!" She said happily, giving Ella a hug with her tails.      "Alright! Lets go and... well..." Ella started, but then trailed off when she noticed the look on the ponies faces.      "We're lost, aren't we?"      The three ponies looked down sheepishly. Ella sighed and looked at Talonstrike. "Find the way to Arceus's home. It shouldn't be hard to spot. Probably some big gold building or something."      Talonstrike nodded and took off in to the sky. It was around sunrise when he returned, his body glowing with a Flame Charge to provide light and boost his speed.      "I found it." He said as the flames vanished. He landed and pointed with a wing. "Its that way, about half a days travel if we all fly. I can carry Velvet and Ella without a problem, and if Cloud and Storm carried Flare, we should be there pretty quickly.      With the plans made, and Flare balancing carefully between Cloud and Storm with her horn light up, using levitation to help make herself lighter, the group set off. ................................................................................................................................................      Ella stod in front of the Hall of Legends, her jaw nearly hitting the floor. It was huge, bigger than she ever thought possible, and shared a resemblance to some ruins in the Sinnoh region. Ella shook her head and walked twords the entrance, ony to be stopped by two golem-like statues who, untill this point, Ella had thought to be made of stone.      "What is it that you seek here?" Said the first, who looked to be made of ice.      "I want to see Lord Arceus." Ella said. "I have some questions."      "Names?" Said the next, this time made of rock.      "Ella, Velvet, Talonstrike, Rainstorm Cloud, Cloud Ace, and Flare Moon." She said, gesturing to each pokemon and pony as she did so.      "Enter." Said the golems, stepping aside. Ella walked in, her friends in tow, and followed the main hall to a large room at the end. She knocked on the door and, much to her suprise, it opened instantly.      "Greetings. I am guessing you are here to speak with me?" Asked the Aplha pokemon, who was sitting at the other end of the room.      "Yes, I am, Lord Arceus." Ella said, quickly bowing. All of her other pokemon followed her   lead.      "Rise, my subjects. Now, what is it you would like to ask?" Arcues asked in a fatherly tone.      "I am here to ask more about the... transportation, as well as my team." Ella said. "Where can I find my friends?"      Arceus's eyes glowed gold for a moment before he spoke again. "Your team has been seperated across the globe. Your Garchomp is in Whitetail Woods. The Umbreon and Jolteon are in Canterlot, while Lucario is in Manehatten. Is that all?"      Ella nodded her thanks before opening her mouth to ask another question. Before she could, however, Arcues inturrupted her.      "No, you can not be human again."      Ella frowed but nodded anyways. She turned and left, but not before hearing Arcues say one last thing.   "Now, if that is all, I must go and talk to my daughter. Latias told me something about her getting in to coffee..."      And with that, the god was gone.      Ella smiled and giggld a little bit.      "Lets go and find the team, then." She said before walking out. Then, she remembered something. "Wait... Theres someone I need to speak with."      Ella walked away from the large room and down the hallway, looking for a certian legendary. She saw one she knew of, Dialga, and walked over to him.      "Um... Excuse me, Lord Dialga, may I ask where Lady Crecessila is at the moment?" She asked.      The blue dragon looked down at her with a smile. "Down the hall, third door on the left." He said before going back to exaniming the painting on the wall.      Ella thanked him before following his directions. She arrived at a pink door decorated with hearts and a cresent moon. Smiling she knocked on the door with a few light headbutts. The door was surrounded in a blue aura before opening, and a sweet voice called out "Come in!"      Ella walked in to the brightly decorated room, filled with flowers and hearts. In the middle was the legendary of love, Crecessila.      "Lady Crecessila. I'm glad to see you again." Ella said, before remembering her new body. "I am Ella Cordon. You helped me one time in a dream. Helped me sort out my feelings for an Umbreon named Starflare. Remember?"      The love pokemon nodded. "Indeed, I do. Tell me, Ella, why have you come here?"      "To thank you. I never was able to do it properly in the dreams, but thank you so much. Starflare and I have bee so happy together thanks to you. I owe you my entire life of happiness." Ella said truthfully.      Crecessila chuckled at the excessive thank yous. "Its nothing, really. It is my job to help others with love."      Ella nodded. "Still, thank you. I will be on my way now. I have to go and find my friends."      "Okay. You are welcome back any time, Ella. Maybe one day we can become good friends."      And with that, Ella and her team, along with three ponies, walked out of the temple and took off in to the open skies. ................................................................................................................................................      Ella awoke the next morning to the sound of a battle. She was up instantly, but then calmed down when she saw it was only Velvet and Talon sparring while Storm, Cloud, and Flare watched.      Ella walked over to the group and sat down, watching the two battle.      "Wing Attack!" Talonstrike called, diving down at Velvet. However, the silver fox was ready and lept up, landing on Talon's back. She used her tails to hold on while using her claws to attack him with a flurry of scratches. Talon cawed in pain and began to dive at the ground while doing a spin, trying to shake off Velvet. However, Velvet was smart and lept off at the last second while pushing Talon down, causing him to crash in to the ground. Velvet landed gracefully on her paws while Talonstrike tried to stand up. Before things could go any farther, though, Ella stepped in.      "Thats enough. We don't want anyone getting seriously hurt." She said. She walked over to Talon and helped him up, then moved him over to where the ponies were. "Got any healing stuff?" She asked.      "No, sorry." Said Storm. "But he will be alright, right?"      "Of corse I will!" Talon said pridefully. "I never loose!"      "Except when you do." Giggled Velvet, comming up behind Talon.      "Yeah, yeah, say what you want. I wasn't trying then. I... umm... I let you win! Yeah, thats right. I was being a gentlemon." Talon defended himself.      Velvet giggled again and walked over to a patch of grass before laying down to rest for a little bit.      "No time to rest, Velvet. We have to go find the team." Ella said, to which Velvet grumbled but stood up all the same. Ella then turned to the ponies. "Which place that Arceus told us about is the closest?"      "Probably Canterlot. But before we go, theres someone I want to visit in Ponyville." Flare said.      "Okay, but we have to be quick." Ella said. "I have to find my friends."      "Right. Come on, I'll take you to her." Said the unicorn, bouncing off. ................................................................................................................................................      The group stood in front of a small house on the edge on Ponyville. Flare knocked on the door, which opened to reveal a pink Pegasus with an orange mane. Her cutie mark was that of three orange clouds. She also had a pheniox resting on her back.      "Flare! Good to see you again, girl! I see you got some Pokemon friends too?" The pegasus said. She opened the door all the way, revealing two pokemon, a Pidgy and a Stariava.      "Come on in. We have so much to catch up on!" Said the pink pegasus, stepping back and letting the others in. Ella walked in behind Storm, and lept on to the couch.      "Everyone, this is my sister, Summer Moon." Said Flare Moon happily. "Summer, these are my new friends, Ella, Talonstrike, and Velvet. Speaking of which..." Flare let out another shock-wave of magic. It passed through Velvet, Pidgey, and Staravia, allowing them to speak.      "What was that?" Asked the Staravia.      "Translation Spell." Flare said. "Lets you guys talk to the ponies."      Ella smiled, then looked at the large red bird. "Whats the bird on your back?" Asked Ella.      "Oh, him? His names Blaze. He is my pet Pheniox. Isn't that right, Blaze?" Sky cooed, nuzzling the bird.      Blaze cawed in responce, raising his wings to show off.      "Anyways, Ella," Flare began, trying to hold back a laugh from Blaze's antiques. "Why don't you tell them about yourself?"      "Well, my name is Ella Farland Cordon, a pokemon trainer from the Kanto region. My job is to train pokemon and help them get stronger along side me..." ................................................................................................................................................      After some small talk with Summer, Ella decided it was time to go. The group thanked Summer for her kindness and left the house. Several ponies who were brave enough to be outside looked at them in confusion, but continued on their daily buisness.      "So, off to Canterlot then?" Talonstrike asked, hovering in the air.      "Yup! Storm, whats the fastest way to get there?" Asked Ella.      "That would be the Friendship Express. Its a train at the other end of ponyville.      "Alright." Ella smiled. "Lets go find the team!" ................................................................................................................................................      Ella stared at the bright, colorful train in front of them known as the Friendship Express. The very thought of riding on it was revolting, considering it was extreamly girly. In case you didn't know, Ella was NOT a girly girl. She was more of a tomboy, and hated when people thought differently.      "Yeah, no. I'm not riding that. I feel my manly amazingness draning away just by looking at it." Said Talonstrike. "I'll just fly there and follow the tracks. Have fun, girly little Ella!" He teased. He then took off so fast, Ella didn't even get a chance to retort. She watched him go with a loud growl before turing around and marching proudly in to the train. If Talon was going to make a joke like that, then fine. She would prove him wrong.      The three ponies looked at Velvet, who shrugged before walking on to the train behind Ella. The two Pegsi and Unicorn walked past the conductor, to whom they gave their and the pokemons tickets, before trotting in to the train as well and sitting by the two fox pokemon.      The train whistle blew and the doors closed before the train whisked away, heading to the capital of Equestria, Canterlot. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4      Ella sat in the train car, drifting between the waking and sleeping world. She was tired, and the past three days had really caught up with her. But the constant rocking and moving of the train was forcing her to stay awake. She grumbled angrily, whipping her tail back and forth. Eventually she was so mad that she let out a loud, frustrated growl. The other passengers looked at her warily, most knowing by now that even the smallest pokemon could cause massive damage, but calmed down when they saw she wasn't a threat.      Eventually Ella managed to fall asleep, though she would have perfered not to when she saw where her dreams were taking her. She was in a large underground sewer system, though it only had one path. At the end of the path was an opening from which loud voices could be heard. Ella shook her head, knowing where this dream was going, but her dream self was unable to stop walking towords the opeining.      Ella walked in through the door and saw that the voices were comming from a group of people who were gathered around something. As Ella got closer, she saw that the thing they were gathered around happend to be a large pit, which had blood stains and a few bones in it. Ella grimiced, but looked to the other side of the pit. Inside of it were two pokemon, a Flygon with blue stripes instead of yellow, and a Gabite with a notch in its arm fin and its back fin, both not being natural. The two pokemon were circling each other, growling angrily. Eventually, the shiny Flygon launched itself at the Gabite. Before they reached each other, however, a loud voice called out from the doorway.      "Attention! This is Top Ranger Tolana Cordon speaking! You are all under arrest for running an illegal Pokemon fighting rig!"      Ella turned and saw her mother, Tolana, at the doorway. Behind her were about ten other rangers. All of them had two pokemon with them each.      "Surrender now, and there will be no harm to anyone. Come quietly and we will let the judges decide your fate." Tolana said.      The group of people scowled and threw out pokeballs, revealing more pokemon than the rangers had. The rangers, however, stood there, unfased. Tolana whispered a few orders to the other rangers, who nodded and each whistled. Instantly, there were four more pokemon by each rangers side. The fight was now about even, but the rangers had a slight advantage.      They knew how to work together.      Using perfect teamwork and skill, the rangers easily took out the fighters pokemon. The fighters then went at the rangers, throwing punches and kicks, but the pokemon stoped them easily.      One of the rangers, Ella saw, had sneaked away. This was new, as each time Ella had this dream, something slightly new happened.      Ella watched the ranger as he pulled out a button. He yelled for silence and was granted it when everyone stopped fighting.      "Think fast." He laughed. He then pressed the button. An explosion was heard above them as the roof started to cave in.      "Abby! Get over here and help me save the two pokemon!" Yelled Tolana. A young girl and her Arcinine rushed over and, with the help of Tolanas Luxray using protect, managed to get to the Gabite and Flygon. The arcinine got the two on its back before runing off with an Extreamspeed.      Tolana rode on top of her Luxray while it was still using protect. However, she saw that the Protect was breaking. Soon, it would shatter, and she would be caught in the rockfall.      Ella yelled as the green shield shattered in to fragments, leaving behing a pile of rock where Tolana and her Luxray used to be.      Once the rocks had stopped falling, a few of the rangers ran out and began digging through the rocks. Ella tried to help, but then remembered that this was all a dream. She wasn't even actually there in the rangers eyes. Her hands simply passed through the rock as if it was thin air.      Eventually, the rangers managed to pull out a hevily injured Luxray and Tolana, both of which had more than a few limbs going in the wrong direction. Ella screamed in despair. She hated when these dreams hit. When she was struck with the nightmare of how her mother died. But she had never been told the full story. Thats why Tolana died differently every time.      Ella wailed in anger. It wasn't fair! Her mother shouldn't have died! She was trying to save pokemon, and she was repaid by getting killed?! It wasn't fair at all!      Suddenly, the dream vanished like mist in the morning. Ella looked around and saw that she was in an open, grassy field. A soft breeze was blowing throuugh the air, causing the grass to sway in the wind. Ella looked up and saw stars covered the sky, and the moon was shining brightly. Too brightly.      All at once, an explosion of light came from the moon and a large, blue pony came out of the light. She was, Ella guessed, one of the alicorn pricessess that Flare had told her about, as it had wings and a horn. Guessing by the fact that she came out of the moon, she predected she was Princess Luna.      "Don't worry, young one. That nightmare is gone." Said the night princess, smiling down at Ella. Ella smiled back up and nodded.      "Thank you, princess. That dream has been haunting me ever since... well... since that event happened." She said, her eyes welling up with tears. "I haven't been able to make them stop, and its been driving me crazy."      Luna smiled and gave Ella a quick hug with one wing. "Do not worry. The dream will never haunt you again. It is gone for good."      Ella hugged the princess back, tears now streaming down her face. "Thank you. Thank you so much, Luna. You have no idea how much that means to me." She said happily, sniffing and wiping away her tears.      Luna nodded and stepped back. "I must leave now. Take care, Ella. Maybe we will meet again soon."      And with that, a flash of light covered the princess of the night and she faded away.      And Ella awoke. ................................................................................................................................................      "Ella! Wake up! Wake up!"      Ella opened her eyes and looked at the silver fox standing over her. She shook her head, blinking away the sleep, and sat up. She saw that several ponies were looking at her oddly, and her friends were all crowded around her.      "W-What happened?" Ella asked, standing. "Why is everyone looking at me funny?"      "You were screaming in your sleep, Ella. Screaming Tolanas name again. Was it the dream?" Asked Velvet, taking a step back to allow Ella more room.      "Y-Yeah... But this time a pony came in and stopped it. It was Princess Luna, I think. She said that... I would never have the dream again..." Ella trailed off, her eyes welling up again.      "Its okay, Ella." Velvet said, giving Ella a hug. "The dreams went away. They are gone now. Those nightmares won't haunt you any more."      Ella nodded, wiping away the tears. She shook her head again and looked at the ponies who were staring at her. "What are you all looking at?" She said loudly. "Nothing to see here!"      The ponies instantly looked away, but the few pokemon on the train kept staring at her. Ella figured that was the best she was going to get, and sat back down, sighing.      "I glad they are gone." She sighed. "I didn't think I could take much more of them..."      "I'm kind of lost here..." Said Storm.      "Yeah, whats going on?" Asked Flare.      "Well..." Velvet started, looking at Ella. The Eevee nodded, and Velvet continued.      "Ellas mother, Tolana, was part of the Pokemon Rangers, basicly the police on Earth. She was on a mission to stop an underground fighting rig. However, though the exact reasons are unclear, Tolana was somehow KIA. One of the pokemon they saved, a Gabite who is now Dragonflame the Garchomp, was given to Ella, as it was Tolanas last wish." Velvet finished.      The three ponies and the few pokemon who decided to listen were entirely silent, shocked that such a thing could happen. Eventually, Storm, Cloud, Flare, and Velvet all leaned in and gave Ella a hug. Ella relaxed, knowing that the dreams were gone, and she could sleep safely.     And, slowly, Ella drifted off in to sleep once more. ................................................................................................................................................      Ella awoke to the sound of many voices and hooves hitting the floor. Sitting up, she saw the ponies and a few pokemon were getting off of the train. She looked out the window and saw a large city, seemingly built in to a mountain.      They had arrived in Canterlot.      Ella stood up and tried to look over the heads of ponies to find Velvet and the others. Suddenly, she was lifted in to the air by a dark blue aura. The aura carried her to the front of the train, where she saw Flare using her magic to lift her and bring her over. As soon as Flare had Ella on her back, the trotted out of the train. Ella saw the others were waiting right at the exiting platform, including Talonstrike, who had just arrived.      Ella lept off of Flare Moon's back and, with a little less clumsiness than last time, bounded over to her friends. After her nap, she was feeling refreshed and ready to go.      "Well there you two are! I was about to go ahead and leave you." Talon said jokingly.      "Well, I'm sorry you were faster than the train and had to wait for it to get here, mister impatient." Ella laughed back.      "Alright, time to go." Said Storm, hovering above the ground. "Who are we looking for, here?"      "Sparx and Starflare." Ella said. "Sparx looks like me, kinda, but is a little bigger and has no tail. She also is yellow and has needles around her neck instead of soft fur like me. Stareflare also looks kinda like me, but skinner. He is black with yellow rings on his ears, face, tail, and legs." she described. "Oh how i wish i had my pokedex..."      "Pokedex?" Asked Cloud.      "A little box that shows pokemon on it and gives data about them." Ella explained. Then she shook her head. "But we are getting off topic. We need to find them. Talon, you search from the sky. Cloud and Storm, can you go with him? Me, Flare, and Velvet will look from the ground."      The ponies and pokemon nodded, the ones with wings taking off while the ones without them ran the other way.      And so, the search began. ................................................................................................................................................      Ella stod in front of the shop stall. Inside were a large assortment of colored gems and stones, most expencive. However, she saw a box of crystals that were only 25 bits for the whole thing.      "I MUST have those crystals!" Ella said to Flare Moon. Flare laughed and nodded.      "I have an idea for them anyways." She said, handing the stall-mare 25 bits and then some, winking at him. "Keep the change." She smiled, picking up the box with her magic.      The group sat down at a picnic table to rest. Flare pulled out the box of crystals and dumped them out. One-by-one, she lifted them and blasted them with a small beam of magic.      "What are you doing?" Asked Ella.      "Enchanting the crystals. They will have Translation Spells engraved in them."      Ella smiled and nodded in understanding. After the crystals had been enchanted, Flare took out two of them, a light blue one for Ella and a red one for Velvet. The two felt the spell wash over their bodies, the tingling on their throats returning for a second before fading away.      "Now we can always understand each other." Flare said.      "Thanks!" Ella said, grabbing the box. She closed it and put it in her tail, which was just big enough to hold it securly.       "Now," Ella said, standing. "Lets go find my mate." ................................................................................................................................................           Ella scanned the windows of the buildings as she went by them, her enhanced eyesight helping her get a better view. She sat atop Velvet, the shiny Ninetails jogging through the streets calling the two eeveeloutions names.      Flare sighed and looked at the two pokemon. "This is getting us nowhere..." She said. "Maybe I cound use a tracking spell, but im not sure if i have enough info on them."      "Maybe you could go through our minds to get info? It would be more detailed that way." Velvet suggested.      Ella instantly blushed and shook her head. "Ummm... not mine please. We have some rather... personal moments."      Flare nodded as Ella lept off of her mount. "Alright, fire away."      Flare's horn light up a deep blue, like the color of the deep sea. The aura shot from her horn to Velvets head, brighting considerably. Squinting so that she could see, Ella watched as a pulse of magic shot out of Flare and Velvets bodies. Flares horn went out and she gasped for air.      "That spell is... hard when... linking two minds." She panted. Suddenly, she brightened up, leaping in the air. "Found them! The spell is signaling that they are," She turned. "That way!"      Ella nodded and lept back on to Velvet before taking off, following the unicorn down several allys until they came out at a warehouse.      "Velvet, call the others." Ella said, leaping off of the fox. "Use Mind Flame!"      Velvet smiled and lept in to the air. She released a ball of fire from her mouth, then used Will-o-wisp to send dark spheres glowing around it. Finally, she used physic to explode the fire out like a firework.      Within moments, several ponies were on the scene. They saw Flare there along with the two pokemon and looked at them.      "What was that?" One pony asked.      "The signal for my friends." Ella said, surprising everyone by the fact that she could speak. "Im looking for my friends, and that signal shows them where I am."      The ponies walked away, most grumbling angrily about pokemon. Not long after they cleared out, Talonstrike swooped from the sky with Cloud Ace and Rainstorm Cloud right behind him.      "This the place?" Asked Talon, looking at the warehouse.      "Thats what my spell says." Flare replied. She quickly teleported a dark red crystal necklace in front of her and put it on Talonflame. Then, she turned around, walked through the doors of the warehouse, and gasped.      "Guys... Come quick." She whispered.      The group walked over to the door and gasped as well, and in the ponies case, tried to hold down their lunch.      Inside, the walls were covered in blood. Bodies of pokemon were lying all over the floor, and tourture contraptions littered the room.      "Who would do this?!" Yelled Ella angrily. "Kill pokemon for no reason! This is an outrage! Storm, go get whatever police force is here in Canterlot. We need them here."      Ella watched as Storm flew off, headed towords the castle. Then, the Eevee turned around and walked inside.      "What are you doing?!" Yelled Flare. "Thats dangerous!"      "My friends are in here. Your spell can't find dead things, can it?"      "Well... no, your right. That means they are alive in here... somewhere..." Flare nodded. "Okay, lets go."      Ella, Velvet, Cloud, Flare, and Talonstrike all walked in to the warehouse, careful to avoide stepping in any blood puddles.      "Velvet, use Will-o-wisp to light the place up a little bit." Ella said.      The shiny pokemon nodded and released about 20 of the flaming balls of fire out of her mouth, letting them float aroud the room and lighting it up a bit. With this added light, the team saw that there were several pokemon in cages along the back wall. Ella ran forward and looked through the cages, looking for her friends.      "Sparx? Stareflare? Are you in here?" She called.      "Ella? Is that you? We're over here!" called a voice from one of the cages at the end.      Ella sprinted to the cage and saw a Jolteon and an Umbreon. Both were very skinny, their ribs showing through their skin, and their eyes were dull. However, as soon as the Eevee appeared, they light up.      "Ella? Are you... an Eevee?" Asked Stareflare.      "Yes, I am. Now back up. Im gonna get you guys out of there." Ella said, taking a few steps back. She was about to run at the cage door, but a voice stopped them.      "What are you doing here?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5      Ella stared at the pony that had entered the warehouse. He was a dark orange unicorn with a mane and tail of three colors, red, yellow, and green. His horn was light up a bright yellow, and his eyes were glaring hatefully at the Pokemon.      "What are you doing in my warehouse?" He asked, his horn glowing brighter.      Ella growled at him. "Who are YOU doing is what you should be asking. Why are you locking up these Pokemon for no reason!?"       "Simple." The pony said. "To kill them."      Ella gasped, then growled again. "How dare you?! Pokemon are living, sentient beings, and you want to just KILL THEM?!"      The last two words were spoken loudly as her growl echoed through the warehouse.      "Ella just used Growl..." Whispered Velvet. "That's an attack that lessens the opposing Pokemon attack power."      "There's a simple explanation for why." The pony said. "One of them attacked my sister. And nearly killed her." He then chuckled. "Oh how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Twisted Spectra, expert in Mind Magic. I can control minds with a single thought, as shown by my cutie mark."      He then turned slightly, revealing a mark on his flank. It was a golden staff with a blue orb on the top. The staff was surrounded by a swirling magical aura, and behind it was a pair of dark, red eyes.      "See? Mind control. The staff represents control, as rulers often have a staff, and the aura represents magic. The eyes signify the mind and soul, as eyes are often thought to be a gateway to both."      Ella growled. "I don't care who you are, mister Curly Rainbow. I want you to release these Pokemon. NOW!"      Again, her last word was spoken with a growl attack, amplifying it.      "Oh, no. I'm afraid I can't do that." Said Twisted with an evil smile. "I still need them for a few things before I kill them."      "Not on my watch." Ella said, leaping at the orange pony.      Ella used the entirety of her body weight to tackle Twisted Spectra to the ground. He landed with a thud that echoed through the warehouse as she pinned him down.      "Oh, come on now. We just met. We aren't that far in the relationship." Twisted chuckled.      Ella growled and swiped at him with claws that she didn't even know she had. Before she could touch him again, however, her paws were surrounded by a yellow aura. She was slammed in to the back of the warehouse, being dragged by her paws, creating a dent in the wall. She screamed in pain as she felt one of her front legs pop, bending it at an odd angle.      "Oh, your going to pay for that!" Yelled Starflare. He charged up a Shadow Ball and, using his rage to fuel its power, broke out of the cage. Him and Sparx then both used Shadow Ball on Twisted Spectra, who wasn't prepared, and took both attacks to the face. He collapsed again, this time, teleporting before he hit the ground. When he didn't appear again, the group let their guard down and rushed over to Ella, who was still partially in the wall.      "We've got to get her to a hospital!" Said Sparx worriedly. Starflare nodded and, with the help of Velvet, used their physic powers to carefully remove Ella from the wall. The placed her on the soft, plushy fur of Velvet's tails and took off, Starflare using his limited physic ability's to keep Ella from falling off. They reached the hospital in record time. Barging through the doors, Velvet called out to the ponies in the room.      "We have an emergency! Please, help!" She yelled. Most of the ponies stood, shocked that there was a talking Pokemon, but the doctors rushed forward.      "What happened? Who's hurt?" The nurse asked.      Velvet lifted Ella off of her tails and held her in front of the doctor. "We were attacked, and Ella got hurt. Please, you have to help her!"      The nurse nodded and called for one of the unicorn doctors, who took Ella in his magic aura and carried her away.      "Can we go too?" Asked Talonstrike. "We are worried about her. She's our trainer, after all."      "Not in the room, but you can watch while we X-Ray her." The nurse said. "Follow me."      The Pokemon followed the nurse as she led them down several hallways, then in to a room where it opened up slightly. In the middle of the room was a window, where Ella was visible through. The team of Pokemon and Ponies watched as Ella was set on the table. The unicorns horn light up, and a light seemed to scan Ella's body before it vanished.      The unicorn walked out of the room, a grim look on his face. "She has broken three rib bones, and her leg is all but gone. Her spine also has a minor fracture, but not enough to inhibit her at all. It will heal within a week. The other breaks, however..." He trailed off.      Starflare looked up at the doctor. "Will she be alright?" He asked.      The doctor looked at Starflare, confused. "What was that? Why can I understand you friends and not you?"      "Oh, that's right! Ella never gave you and Sparx the necklaces!" Said Flare Moon, facehoofing. "Doctor, there should be a box in Ellas tail. Can you get it please? It has these necklaces that have a translation spell engraved in to them."      "Of course." The doctor said. "And please, call me Doctor Syringe."      Syringe went back in to the room Ella was in, and came back out with a box in his magical grasp. "Here you go." He said.      Flare took the box in her magic. She thanked the doctor, then opened the box and took out two crystals for the two eeveloutions. She gave a yellow one to Starflare and a white one to Sparx.      The two felt a tingling feeling in their throats before it quickly faded away. "What was that?" The siblings asked in unison.      "Translation Necklaces. They allow you to talk to ponies." Flare responded.      "So you can understand us now?" Asked Sparx excitedly.      "Yup! So Doc, how long will it take for Ella to heal entirely?" Asked Storm.      "Like I said, the minor injuries will take only a week or so. The other injuries could take up to a month at worst. However, that is worst-case scenario. If you are lucky, she will be healed in about two and a half to three weeks." Doctor Syringe said.      "That's good." Sparx said. "But where will we stay until then? We don't have much money..."      "You can leave that to me!" Said Storm. "Ill be right back!"      With that, the blue Pegasus left the office in a grey streaked blue blur.      "Oh, Storm. If I know my marefriend, she is going to come up with come crazy thing for us to do the get the bits to stay somewhere." Cloud Ace chuckled.      "Well, we might as well try to help her." Starflare sighed. "We need the bits to pay for a hotel. Not only that, but I can imagine this bill for Ella's treatment will cost a lot as well."      "I think I know how to solve that problem." Syringe said with a smile. //-------------------------------------------------------// Story Canceled and To Be Rewritten //-------------------------------------------------------// Story Canceled and To Be Rewritten Sorry guys, but the story has officially been canceled.
