Rise of The Red Hood

Friday afternoon, the sky was soon becoming dusk. Daemon passed a lot of trees, each corresponding a different shade of orange and yellow. He was head towards a rural area of Canterlot. Applejack had contacted everyone, apparently something had been attacking her family's apple trees and she wanted to find out what it was.

"I'm pretty sure I know what it is" remarked Daemon, thanks to his Serpent Drone he studied the She Bats movements around the city it seems as if she attacked fruit markets and supermarkets, soon after it disappeared from the city. He was pretty sure it drove its attention towards the Apple family's farm. Using the sample he found he had made a cure for the She Bat, seeing how it might make an appearance today he brought his book bag. He reached the ranch-style home, he seemed to be late seeing as he was the last one to appear.

"Good everyone's here, now we can see what pest been eating our apples," Claimed Applejack, " Alright lets split up and head out to see if we find something. Here's some flashlights, if we find something flash it in the sky. " Once far from the girls Daemon got his bag and took the contents out, he change out of his shirt and put his DSIP Plate underneath it. After that he continued to trek the area, with the antidote in his book bag he was ready. Daemon was getting bored looking around when he saw a flashlight in the air.

"Alright so I was at the wrong direction," Said Daemon he ran towards the location of the light and found everyone there except Fluttershy.

"What's going on, where's Fluttershy?" Questioned Daemon, he looked at what they were so interested and saw for once the face of the She-Bat.

"Is that Fluttershy?" Asked Daemon.

"That's not Fluttershy, That's Flutterbat!" Exclaimed Rarity.

"We need to help her!" Yelled Sunset. Soon after Flutterbat swooped down and hissed at the group, flying towards the opposite direction the girls ran toward her.

"I got my rope we need to catch her" Exclaimed Applejack. Daemon watched them run after Fluttershy, Daemon was awestruck by the revelation, He took a second to regain his composure and put on his attire, tonight he was going to hunt a bat. It began to rain which was bad, it meant the ground would become muddy. Setting up the Jet Injector with the Vaccine on his hand he would help Fluttershy. Following the direction of voices Daemon began wondering how Fluttershy got in contact with this Mutation when it hit him, the bat in the animal shelter. He then saw Applejack holding Flutterbat with her rope.

"Ah got her." Yelled Applejack, except that wasn't true when it ripped the rope.

"No, I got her" was all Red Hood before receiving looks of confusion. Thinking fast Daemon used a different grappling gun, one designed to grab hold of people. As it tied up her foot Daemon underestimated its strength and instead of pulling her he was pulled.

"Dammit, did not expect that." Said Daemon, holding on to the gun he pulled himself forward with the rope. Once close enough he grabbed on to her. Flutterbat was successful at clawing towards his face when she ripped his hood. Daemon got the upper hand and injected her.

"Calm down I'm trying to help you!" Yelled Daemon, the Vaccine seemed to take effect as Flutterbat quit fighting and both of them were now falling.

"Can't move!" Was all Daemon said Before his back hit the ground.

"Augh" Howled Daemon, while his armor protected from blunt damage it wasn't strong enough for long falls. While Daemon received most of the damage Fluttershy was fine, carrying her back to the girls he saw that she transformed back to normal. It was dark enough for the girls to not see Daemon but alas the rain was getting strong and lighting struck revealing for a split second who the Red Hood was.

"Daemon?!" Said the girls in unison. disappearing the second the light gave off he was gone.

Daemon arrived home. Shutting the door he painfully walked upstairs, each step he made were all too much for him, even the creaks of the stairs were not enough to hide the his groans, going to his base he put away his equipment. Taking some pain killers he sat in his chair looking at his equipment in the closet. Seeing the amount of damage put on himself he thought, with the fact that his identity was blown he was wondering what he would do now. Going up the ladder, Daemon laid in his bed, looking up to his ceiling he closed his eyes.

*KNOCK*, Daemon awoke to the sound of knocking, without thinking he blindly went downstairs. Opening the door he was shocked to see a familiar group of girls.

"May we come in?" Asked Sunset

"Uh yeah, just wait in the living room, need to get organized since I just woke up." Explained Daemon, leading them to the living room he went upstairs to his bathroom, while brushing his teeth he began worrying about what they may say. Changing to a different outfit he went back downstairs.

"So um, what do you guys need?" Questioned Daemon, while he knew what the issue was he wanted to make sure.

"We just need to talk, 'bout yesterday," Said Applejack, "So it seems that you are that guy, uh"

'Red Hood, that's what they called him at the school after the fall formal event." Replied Rainbow Dash

"Right, Red Hood.." Said Applejack before she was cut off by Daemon.

"Look, yes that's me, no point of hiding since you guys saw me but I want you guys to not say it to anyone. You six know who I am and you six should only know, deal." Commanded Daemon.

"Deal," Replied all the girls.

"Well now that this was settled you guys need anything else?" Asked Daemon

"Well duh, it's Halloween silly, did you forget" Said Pinkie

"Oh right, Halloween so you guys are going to the event in the town?" Questioned Daemon.

"Yeah, we're all going" Said Pinkie

"Okay well then I'll see you guys there." Said Daemon.
