At Equestria, it was 9:00 late at night. Inside Fluttershy's Cottage, Fluttershy was feeding Angel Bunny carrots. From the Everfree Forest, she heard crunching. Very loud crunching.
"What could that be?" she thought.
Angel jumped up and down and pointed to the Everfree Forest. Fluttershy faced Angel.
"Oh my, it is coming from there! I better call the rest over," she said.
Angel then ran out the cottage's door, but Fluttershy grabbed him.
"No Angel. You stay here with the rest of the animals. I'm going to get my friends," Fluttershy commanded.
Then Fluttershy left out her cottage and left to go get her friends.
When she got her friends, they stopped at the entrance of the Everfree Forest. Fluttershy looked at the Mane 6.
"Come on girls, we have to find the creature!" Fluttershy commanded her friends.
"Umm, Fluttershy, why are going to find this creature anyway?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Because it could be in danger! We must find it!"
"OOOHHH! I wonder if it can talk!" Pinkie thought.
"Yes. Now come along, girls! We have to help Fluttershy find this creature," Rarity stated. "It could have gemstones all over it!"
"Yes Rarity! We know that you'll try to get a creature with them gemstones!" Applejack stated as they walked in the Everfree Forest.
The Mane 6 walked in. Twilight stopped everyone halfway through the forest.
"Rainbow, Fluttershy, and I will scout for the creature above," Twilight commanded the Mane 6. "Rarity, Pinkie, Applejack, you will look for the creature on the ground."
"Doesn't sound too hard," Rainbow said.
"Don't get too cocky, Rainbow!" Fluttershy warned. "We need to find the creature without harming it,"
Then, the Alicorn and the pegasi flew into the skies while Pinkie, Rarity, and Applejack ran through the forest.
After flying, they spotted a very strange green pipe which had a large black hole on the top of the pipe. Fluttershy saw the pipe.
"THERE! That must be where the creature is!" Fluttershy yelled.
"Calm down, Fluttershy!" Rainbow whispered. "We don't want to wake up any dangerous creatures!"
Twilight, Rainbow, and Fluttershy landed near the green pipe as the rest of the Mane 6 caught up to them.
"We came all the way out here, FOR THAT?!" Rarity yelled.
"Fluttershy, y'all got a lot of 'splaining to do!" Applejack yelled.
Fluttershy didn't know what to say. Twilight and Pinkie were confused while Rainbow, Rarity, and Applejack were angry.
"I guess the creature left," Fluttershy said sadly. "Let's go home, girls,"
Then Fluttershy started to walk away sadly as a brown plant with orange dots around its head came out of the pipe. It made the crunching sound that Fluttershy heard before. Everyone turned around.
"What the heck is that?" Rainbow asked everyone.
The plant was angry.
"I know!" Pinkie yelled very quickly. "It's one of the plants from this video game called Super Mario 3D Land! It's called the Fire Piranha Plant! AKA Venus Fire Trap!"
Everyone's jaws dropped.
"How did you that Pinkie?!" Twilight demanded.
"Just a hunch!" Pinkie chirped.
The Fire Piranha Plant looked at the Mane 6. He was confused. He was scared a little. Fluttershy walked over to the Piranha Plant variant.
"Umm...hello ,Fire Piranha Plant. I'm Fluttershy and these are my friends!" Fluttershy spoke.
The Fire Piranha Plant growled and did a bunch of crunching sounds. Everyone looked at the Fire Piranha Plant.
"HAHAAHAHAHH!!!" Rainbow laughed. "He can't even speak! HAHAAHAHAH!"
The Fire Piranha Plant didn't like what Rainbow said, and was even more aggressive when he heard Rainbow laugh! The Fire Piranha spit out a fireball and burned Rainbow Dash's face. Rainbow's face was brunt black crisp and the Fire Piranha laughed at that.
"See Rainbow, that's why you don't laugh at other animals," Fluttershy stated.
"He doesn't have any gemstones," Rarity said sadly.
The Fire Piranha looked at Rarity closer again. And this time, in a different way.
"Umm, Fluttershy, why is he looking at me like that?" Rarity asked.
"He likes you Rarity," Fluttershy thought. "Come on Fire Piranha Plant, you're going to my cottage,"
The Fire Piranha liked the sound of that and quickly got out of the Warp Pipe, and walked on his legs to Fluttershy. Everyone gasped.
"That thing can walk?!' Applejack yelled.
"Yup! Sometimes they're stuck in Warp Pipes and other times they're stuck in the ground to attack the player," Pinkie explained.
"Yeah? So who's going to carry his pipe?" Rainbow asked.
"Well, since you laughed at the poor, innocent creature, you're going to carry it!" Fluttershy commanded Rainbow as the rest of the Mane 6 headed back to the entrance.
"UGH!" Rainbow groaned as she grabbed the Warp Pipe and and took it back to Fluttershy's Cottage.
When Fluttershy and Rainbow got back to the cottage, the Fire Piranha Plant walked into the cottage's door and saw Angel. He looked at angel and thought he was FOOD! He started chasing the bunny around the cottage. Fluttershy took the Warp Pipe from Rainbow's hooves and and went inside her cottage. Rainbow flew back to Cloudsdale. Fluttershy saw Angel screaming and the Fire Piranha chasing him.
"WHOA!" Fluttershy gasped. "Fire Piranha, that's not how we treat our friends!"
Fluttershy flew over to the Fire Piranha and grabbed him.
"FIRE PIRANHA! Angel is not food! Understand?!"
The Fire Piranha Plant looked at Fluttershy. He knew she was angry. The Fire Piranha nodded his head yes and Fluttershy put the Piranha variant down on the ground.
"Now, sorry for yelling at you," Fluttershy said. "Next time, don't just eat random things. Okay?"
The Fire Piranha nodded his head.
"Now time for bed!" Fluttershy commanded Angel and the Fire Piranha.
Angel and the Fire Piranha didn't want to go to bed just yet, but there was no point of messing with Fluttershy again. Angel went to his bed and Fluttershy and the Fire Piranha went upstairs. Inside Fluttershy's Bedroom, she put the Fire Piranha in the bed with her.
"Good night, Fire Piranha," Fluttershy said as she was falling asleep.
The Piranha Plant crunched twice and went to sleep.
The next morning Fluttershy was sleeping in her bed. But something was wrong. She was sleeping by herself! Then she didn't feel the Fire Piranha and quickly woke up. She ran downstairs and heard a table crash on the floor. She saw Angel holding 2 pans in his hands fighting the Fire Piranha as he was spitting fireballs at Angel. Fluttershy was angry. She walked over to Angel and gave him the Stare which quickly calmed Angel down. Then she stormed over to the Fire Piranha.
"Fire Piranha! Did you start this?!" Fluttershy asked.
Angel jumped up and down and lied to Fluttershy that the Fire Piranha started the fight. Really, Angel started the fight since he wanted revenge.
"Fire Piranha, what do you have to say for yourself?!" she demanded.
The Fire Piranha Plant crunched sorry and then Fluttershy looked at him.
"Fire Piranha, you're grounded from playing for 1 hour. The only thing you're going to be doing is cleaning up this mess," Fluttershy said as the Fire Piranha looked down at the ground, saddened ."Come along Angel, you didn't do anything,"
Angel jumped on Fluttershy's back and taunted the Fire Piranha. The Fire Piranha growled at Angel as he started cleaning up the mess.
After the Fire Piranha was finished cleaning, he walked out of the cottage and went to Carousel Boutique. At Carousel Boutique, Rarity looked at the Fire Piranha.
"What could that Fire Piranha want?" Rarity thought.
She walked out of the boutique and the Fire Piranha walked up to her. He explained the best he could that he was blamed by Angel since they were fighting. Rarity could kind of understand the Fire Piranha Plant.
"So you and Angel were fighting because Angel wanted revenge from the fight yesterday? And he also lied to Fluttershy getting you grounded from playing for 1 hour?!" she exclaimed.
The Fire Piranha jumped up and down in excitement since Rarity was understanding.
"Come along now, Fire Piranha! We're going back to Fluttershy's Cottage!" Rarity said.
Then they walked to Fluttershy's Cottage.
Fluttershy opened the door and saw an angry Rarity and an angry Piranha Plant variant.
"Umm...Rarity, why are you here?" Fluttershy asked. Then she looked down and saw the Fire Piranha. "And YOU?! When you get inside, you're going to get it!"
"Actually, Fluttershy, you owe this Piranha Plant an apology!" Rarity yelled.
"Me? Why do I owe an fire-breathing, out-of-control, and crazy Piranha Plant an apology?!" Fluttershy replied.
"Because Angel lied!"
Fluttershy gasped.
"Did Angel lie about the fight this morning?!" Fluttershy quickly asked Rarity.
"Yes! The Fire Piranha told me everything!"
"ANGEL BUNNY! You get here right NOW!" Fluttershy yelled.
Angel came out and saw the Fire Piranha.
"Angel, I'm very disappointed in you for lying to me and getting this innocent creature into trouble!"
Angel looked down at the ground sadly.
"No carrots for 1 week," Fluttershy said.
Angel was sad and angry at Fluttershy. Fluttershy saw Angel getting mad at his punishment.
"ANGEL!" Fluttershy yelled.
Angel them calmed down and Fluttershy walked over to the Fire Piranha and Rarity.
"Sorry, Fire Piranha Plant. I should've listened to you earlier. Will you ever forgive me?" Fluttershy said.
The Fire Piranha thought and then nodded his head yes. They hugged each other and the Fire Piranha hugged Rarity next.
"Even if you don't have gemstones all over you, you're nice!" Rarity complimented the Fire Piranha.
The Fire Piranha was happy. Then Rarity left and Fluttershy, Angel, and the Fire Piranha went back inside.
Fluttershy fed the Fire Piranha and they talked.
"You have to meet Discord another day," Fluttershy told the Venus Fire Trap. "He's really funny and a good friend."
The Fire Piranha was happy. He liked his new home. He loved Fluttershy, got along better with Angel, went over to Rarity's sometimes, and made sure the Cutie Mark Crusaders didn't do anything wrong. He loved Equestria.
