//-------------------------------------------------------// The Elementals book 1: Visions -by Crystal Prisim- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologe //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologe The scent of fear was in the air along with the sound of hoofsteps and the howling of timber-wolves as an alicorn was trying to escape to save her child who was weak and helpless at the time. The alicorn had emerald green eyes that sparkled like diamonds a curly blue mane, and a sky blue crystal body, wings, and horn. Once in a while she will look back to see a horrifying pony like creature with reptilian eyes and a cutie mark that showed her darkness, a shadow pony. She would run farther with her baby in her sack, but one time she accidentally dropped her child and she ran back to get her. Sadly when she got there she found her child without her horn and her wings were crippled. The mother began to cry over her child with blocked magic and wings that won't lift her into the air. When the alicorn stopped sobbing she took off her necklace and did a spell the change herself into a cat with wings so she could watch her child grow up, but before that she put a spell into the necklace that would teleport both of them to the crystal empire so that a friend of the alicorn can take care of her child in the crystal empire. When the alicorn was done the child and the former alicorn now pegacat disappeared in a blink of an eye. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Nightmare //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Nightmare Running through the ginormous castle made of crystal I passed some excuse mes and a few pardon mes to ponies. It wasn't normal for the castle to be filled with ponies there just for a crippled pegasus like me, in my opinion it was suspiciously way too crowded so I ran to the throne room to tell my mother, Cadence that I'm going outside, but once I got there the castle was empty and dark. "Cadence where are you," T asked through the darkness,"Cadence!" Soon I saw red reptilian eyes that glowed in a cruel way and wings sharp enough to cut the hardest diamond. "Cadence is this a joke," I asked the scary looking outline of a pony. "Weakling, Cadence is gone and you can't help her or the other princesses," the dark figure said,"I am in every shadow and no one can hide from me. You are powerless without your alicorn magic and flight. You can't stop my return when you are weak and helpless!" "What are you talking about," I asked fearfully. "Your precious light is weak and casting a weak glow, you will never find the other four Elementals or the lost element. I sense fear and you are afraid!" The dark figure resided and laughed a scary evil laugh. "Wake up Crystal Prism, wake up," a sweet voice said. My eyes opened and I just thought it was just a regular nightmare, but I couldn't be so wrong in my life. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Bad Night //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Bad Night "You were mumbling in your sleep, bu was it sleep," Cadence paused,"Your eyes were blue completely blue and I only saw that when..." "What? You can tell me," I said,"You said that you would explain everything on my birthday." "Remember that your birthday is tomorrow," Cadence reminded. "This is the worst of my nightmares this month I need an explanation, whats and elemental, why did the figure say that my light was faint..." I asked until I was interrupted. "Calm down everything will be answered tomorrow with a gift from your late real mother," Cadence assured. "Late mother," I asked confused," Was I adopted?" "Yes and that is all I am revealing today," Cadence answered. I was shocked that my whole life believing I was the crippled daughter of a princess was a lie that I was close to fainting. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4:Crystal Heart Gone //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4:Crystal Heart Gone "Princess Cadence," Shining armor exclaimed,"You guests have arrived and want to see you. Now for the bad news." "What Shining Armor," Cadence asked. "The Crystal Heart is Missing," Shining Armor answered and then fainted. "It must be King Sambra, Crystal Prism, don't worry I can handle him," Cadence said looking at my wavy long rainbow mane instead of my lavender eyes. "If the guests are here then they might explain everything to me even my cutie mark," I asked under my breath to myself. My cutie mark is a 8 point star, each part of the 8 point star is different color in this order red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink, and aqua. In the middle of each point is a smaller point connecting the points. It is a strange cutie mark for a crystal pegasus. "Where are the guests, I want to greet them," I asked Cadence. "Well, Shining Armor might need assistance to get to the hospital cause I think he has a fracture, they said they wanted to see me first so no. You will take care of Shining Armor," Cadence said," It that alright with you?" "Yes Cadence," I said," But who will be commanding the crystal guard now," I asked Cadence. "Flash Sentry," Cadence answered. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Pegacats //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Pegacats "Guards make sure that she doesn't faint," Cadence instructed to the guards. I gave a dumbfounded look to her hoping for an explanation.  Cadence shook her head signaling a 'no not until tomorrow'. I groaned and went to find my pegacat, River. Pegacats are a rare species that Fluttershy discovered a year before I was born. Think of a cat with wings, that is a pegacat. Only 15% can talk like River can since birth. River has grey fur, black stripes and spots, and emerald eyes that sparkle like stars. River is friendly, cute, curious, adventurous, and sometimes demanding. When Fluttershy discovered the Pegacats species she discovered that they can deeply bond with ponies. A bond is a friendship that can't be broken even if the pegacat or pony dies. Nature chooses who the pegacat bonds with so there is no mistakes. Pegacats are also sadly prey to dragons which makes them live in a forest circle surrounded by dragonsneeze trees. River has been bonded with me for as long as I remember literally. I guess we saw each other and just bonded and that's it. River is the joy in my life that takes my mind off of the bullies that make fun of my crippled wings. When I found River I gave her a little nuzzle to wake her up from her morning catnap. She woke up and stared at me and said,"Is it breakfast already," I nodded a yes back. She followed me to breakfast that was her start to her day so she could get a treat. Breakfast was pancakes, zap apple jam on toast, Sweet Apple Achers apple cider, and some biskets. River got her special cat food and a treat of her favorite food, fish. We ate in silence until Shining Armor broke through the door looking panicked.
