"It's a colt, Mrs. Puff." A doctor pegasus said. A mare named Cloudpuff and a stallion named Thunderboom, a pegasi couple, were at the hospital, in Cloudsdale. The doctor laid the white coated newborn foal in Cloudpuff's hooves.
"Oh Thunder, look at his orange mane, isn't he beu-" Cloudpuff was cut off by Thunderboom.
"In Celestia's name... is that a... horn! Is our son is an... alicorn? Wait... where are his wings?"
"He is a unicorn! how wonderful! Our son will be able to preform magic!"
"I don't like this... Not. One. Bit. It doesn't make sense! Both our families have been made up of purely pegasi before the founding of Equestria!"
"It may not make sense, dear, but he is our son, and we will love him nonetheless!"
"Oh Cloud, of course I love him, but otherponies, thats what Im not so sure about."
"The kids will love him, he is a unicorn, fouls will love his magic!"
"We'll discuss this later... you need to get some rest my dear."
"First, we must name him... how about, Thundercloud?"
"That's a wonderful name, sweetheart, now get some rest."
The Doctor pegasus then took the unicorn and brought him to a nursery.
"How peculiar... a unicorn child in Cloudsdale. That might be a first."
On the left side of his crib , another foal, a pegasus filly with a yellow coat and pink mane was staring at him.
