Direct words for an useless object
“Well...” I said quickly while I was waking up from my bed and walking to a corner of my room in the morning of a new day.
“Here we are again. One more time, you're empty while my bladder… is full.” I said seeing one more time the potty that my parents bought some time ago and feeling the pressure in the down part of my body after a long night.
“My parents say if I use you, if I let everything go inside you, if I fill you with the content of my bladder, certainly something really nasty, I'll be a… big colt.” I said while I was sitting down in the potty still wearing a diaper.
“But. Why I must be a big colt?!” I said standing up again.
“They responded my question saying: “Your big brother, your playmates and even your parents left the diapers at your age.” But, I don't want to be like them! I don't want to leave the most useful thing I have ever had! Just look at yourself!” I said really angry pointing to the “training object”.
“You are just a useless piece of plastic! But this.” I said pointing to my diaper. “This is a piece of art, a magical garment. Comfortable as the softest pillow. Warm as the thickest blanket, and absorbent as a sponge inside a water bucket. You. You only are cold as the souls of the stupid ponies that made you!” I continued while I saw angry the object in the floor.
“I still remember like it was yesterday, the fateful morning when this thing began. It was the first dry night in my life. As every day, my parents revised my diaper after a long night at dreamland. They were so excited when they didn't find a single drop of liquid inside it, and they said the most terrible words I have ever heard: “You're ready to begin the potty training.” I had never heard those two words in a single sentence before, I didn't even know that was possible.
With my young voice I simply asked what were they talking about. Their answer was almost worse than the two words they used: “We're going to teach you how to use the potty, so you won't have to use diapers again.” After that horrible sentence, they told me I was going to begin the school soon and I had to learn how to use the potty because in the school there weren't ponies to change my diapers when it was necessary. Then I asked why simply they didn't teach me how to change my diaper by my own, after all, if I need to use the potty, I will have to visit the bathroom and I can change my diaper there instead of use the potty. What's the difference between use the bathroom or change my diaper in there? They only responded my questions with laughs… never ending laughs... as if it were a kind of joke or something like that...” I said, sitting down on my bed.
“Do you know why are you here?” I asked to the potty in a corner of the room.
“My parents thought I had fear to the dark and I was scared to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. They also thought I was incontinent and had enuresis. They sent me to five different psychologists and psychiatrists. They bought me these things.” I said pulling of my diaper.
“These are pull-ups or something like that. They are special for foals in potty training. You can take it off really easy. For me they are only: "low absorbency diapers". What a waste!” I said really disgusted with the absorbency of my padded garment.
“They told me: “You can't wear diapers your entire life.” And I asked: “Why not?” They have breathed their entire life, they have eaten their entire life, they have used horseshoes their entire life. WHY CAN'T I WEAR WHAT I WANT MY ENTIRE LIFE?!” I continued.
“Two days ago in the park. I wanted to play with some colts of my age, as my parents said, they weren't wearing diapers. when they saw me wearing one, they didn't let me join to the game. I was sad, but few minutes after, I decided go to play in the sandbox. A lot of diaper foals often play in the sandbox. At first, they didn't like to play with me so much, but later they discovered I just wanted to have fun, and we made awesome buildings together. I make new friends all the time. It's true, some friends have left me when they decided that the sandbox was only for foals and they didn't want to have a diapered colt as their friend. But, who needs them?!” I added.
“One week ago at school, the teacher was talking us about the poisonous plants in the Everfree Forest. In the middle of the class, a classmate asked for use the bathroom, poor filly! She looked as she really had to go, who knows how much time she had waited before asking it to the teacher. She was absent by four or five minutes, during that time, the teacher talked us about a plant similar to the carrots but if we eat it, we will have fever for two or three weeks. She was lost the explanation, but me. Well, I just had to relax my muscles during the explanation and nopony in the class realized it.
If I had one bit for every time I have seen a...”big colt” as they say, concentrating more in the pressure of his bladder than what they are doing, I would have enough money to buy diapers for the rest of my life.” I said before stand up in front of the potty, looking it contemptuously.
“Do you see? If I use you, I'm not going to be better than the baby ponies in their cribs. I'm not going to learn more things at school. I'm not going to have more comfortable and warmer nights. I just will be another pony in Equestria who had to use you, just because their parents said that.” I said before separate my legs a bit.
“So, I'm not going to use you. Not because I were incontinent, lazy or still a small colt. I'm not going to use you, because… You're not necessary at all!” I said before a squirt was heard in the quiet room. After few seconds the “low absorbency diaper” was soaked and had a big yellow spot in the front. I just walked outside my room with a uncomfortable but necessary piece of evidence between my legs to tell to my parents that I had had an accident again.
