Demon Soul Pony Heart

(Two years later.)

"Today is the day my little demons. Are you ready to see the outside?" Said Ash with tears in her eye as she hugged her son and daughter as they stood at the charmed open silver gate.

"Yes momma were ready, but are you sure about us leaving you two here?" Said Ember as she and Phantom returned the hug.

"Yes Ember your father has been alone for so long and since he can't leave I've decided to become a demon and stay with him."

"Ok then Dad anything else you want to add? Before we go through the gate, head top side, kill and take the souls everypony that stands in our, and finally release that thing you called Cerberus to cover our escape." Phantom listed as he broke free from the hug.

"Have fun, here's a mirror that allows you to contact us if you need advice and be carful."  Said Enigma

"Got it, ok lets go." Phantom said as he and Ember dash out the room with empty saddlebags on their back with their guardians starting to follow.

"Loveless, Life Bane." Called Ash as she looked down the hall where her children had just left.

"Yes lady Ash." Both demons answered as they bowed to her.

"Watch over my babies and stay under everyponies radar."

"Of course lady Ash." And with that Both demons took their leave following the scents of the two half breeds that went before them crossing the silver gate and turning into animals Loveless into a small white vampire fruit bat and Life Bane into a lanky amber cat when both got outside in the darkness of night they what they saw brought smiles to their faces, slashed and burned husks of guards were thrown all over. Their barracks was on fire as falcons that were flying from the building were being lit on fire by will-o-whips that circled the burning building all except for one that got free of circle of floating flames and was headed toward Cantorlot.

"What did mom say we should take besides souls?"

"I believe she called them bits I think she said they are small shiny pieces of metal that are round and flat also that we would need some sort of cloak whatever that is but at least we have food for a while." Ember said as she was packing her bags full of bits and armor pieces she took off the dead guards while Phantom took random objects from the bodies to stuff in his bags except for a pair of racing goggles

"Yeaaaaaaaah.... Hey Ember look up at that thing what do you think it is?" Asked Phantom as he looked up and pointed at moon

"I don't know Phantom but its pretty."

"It's called the moon it come out at a time called night.

"So this is night."

"It's beautiful."

"It's amazing."

"It's a waste of time to stare at now, we have to get out of here."

"Ok then lets go."

"Wait a minute Loveless, why are you a bat?"

"And what are you Life Bane?

"Your told us to stay out of sight, so to keep hidden and as close as possible I turned into a bat and Life turned into a creature called a cat so we can pose as pets." Answered Loveless after she flew to Phantom and rested on his back with Life Bane doing the same with Ember.

"Pets?"

"I'll explain once we have found a place to rest."

"Fine but I want you both to tell us everything you know about the world when we get their."

"Of course sugar what whatever you need." The four moved on after Phantom and Ember filled their saddlebags opening and passing through the first gate before dashing toward the second gate that's when Cerberus stopped them knocking away Phantom who wasn't paying attention with a swipe of his paw as Ember jumped back dodging it and summoning several well-o-wisps as Phantom slammed into a wall.

"You ok bro?" Asked Ember as she snickered at him while launching the wisps at Cerberus to force him back.

"Yea I'm fine getting slammed into a wall never hurts." Phantom said sarcastically as he pried himself and loveless off the wall.

"Sarcasm doesn't fit you brother."

"Shut up and help me kill it." Phantom dashed forward while Ember's kept Cerberus busy. Phantom extended his wings mid dash forcing him up wards to Cerberus's chest but he was swatted away. Phantom got back up and charged again and again but even with Ember's help Phantom keep get knocked away before he could do any real damage leaving Cerberus with small gashes. "Fine you beast I give up. Ember this soul is yours so end this I'll distract it." Phantom charged one last time but this time he had Cerberus full attention. Phantom focused on staying close to the beast while Ember planted herself with her tails gathering her wisps around her neck except one which floated in between her forward horns.

"Target locked theirs no escape." Using her horns as sights she stared unblinking at Cerberus's chest the wisp between her horns started to spin as black balls with a purple aura surrounding them started to enter the rotating wisp turning the wisp form blue to dark purple ball that shrunk to the size of a ball bearing. "READY! PHANTOM CLEAR THE WAY!" Ember increased the spin on the ball to the point you could see a small twister forming around it before firing it just as Phantom landed one last hit with his horn giving Cerberus a gash running up his neck which cause him to back up  before he flipped in the air and watched the dark ball pass under him and piercing Cerberus's chest and Tirek's left arm who was watching the whole fight from his cage and the mountain before exploding Releasing a wave of demonic energy all a cross Equestria causing a mass feeling of unease. "Bro lets go." Ember opened the bottle around her neck and then ripped Cerberus soul out of his dead body and storing it for later when phantom walked next to her and saw Terik laying in his cage but he didn't notice was Tirek was waiting for them.

"Wait Ember theirs another body I'm taking it's soul if its still there." Phantom walked up to Terik's cage cutting it in half with his horns. Taking a few steps forward he walked into Tirek's range calmly he watched the blood pool around the body get bigger before he stabbed Terik through the heart from the back with his tail.

"How did you know?" Tirek asked staring at the spaded tail poking out of his chest.

"Your blood pool was growing to fast to say your heart wasn't beating. Now say good bye." Phantom ripped his tail out of Tirek's body ending Tirek and taking his soul which Phantom had entangled in his tail. "Ok now lets go." Dropping the soul in his satchel both half demons ran through the final gate into the everfree forest and unknowingly toward Ponyville.

"Yo bro?"

"What?"

"Why didn't you cut off that beasts legs and or neck?"

"Well you see... the reason was... good question. Why didn't I?"

"Sigh. Brother if I wasn't running right now I would facehoof.

"Yea yea hey you know I just remembered weren't we supposed to free a beast called Cerberus to cover our tracks."

"Well it doesn't matter it stands to reason that since we kill all the ponies and that beast in side the base their would be nothing to stop that beast from escaping. Unless that beast we killed was Cerberus."

"Were you paying attention when mom was telling us what it looked like?"

"Nope. You?"

"Same." both half demons ran through the night with full saddlebags and clinging guardians on their backs until they reached the rundown castle as the sun was high in the sky. "Hey Sis What do you think about making this our base for now?"

"Good idea bro for once."

"I'm just gonna ignore the for once."
