An alicorns consort

As Celestia approaches Lunas room she hears soft crying from the other side. She turns to the guards and gestures down the hall.

"you two are dismissed for the rest of the night, have a goodnight gentle-colts" They nod and walk away as Tia knocks on the door.

"sister? are you alright?" upon receiving no answer she pushes open the door to reveal Luna crying into one of her pillows. She slowly climbs up next to Luna who appears not to notice the sudden change in weight on her bed and just keeps crying into her pillows, her mane has returned to light blue instead of her normal ethereal mane the blows in a non existent wind. Tia slowly wraps her arms around her.

"shh, its ok lulu, in here" Tia lays next to Luna holding her while she cries.

"I-it's not fair sister........none of it's fair" Luna sniffs trying to choke back more crying as she looks up to her sister. Tia looks to her confused.

"what do you mean its not fair? whats wrong lulu?" Luna looks down whimpering trying to think of how to tell Tia the truth about what she is feeling, Luna looks back up to Tia slowly.

"I.... i want someone to call my own like you and twilight sister......we are....lonely." presses against Tia holding her close and breaks down crying again. Celestia sits there holding her sister like a mother would a young foal who is having problems understanding how the world works.

"Luna, are you truly this lonely? you know I can always send out word that you are looking for a suitor" Luna looks up to her.

"N-no, I want someone who will treat me like you and Twilight do each other, not some stuck up noble that will use me to get power....... I'm sure I will find someone in time.... I just want someone to hold me and tell me everything's going to be ok, thank you for the offer sister, but no, i do not wish for you to make this public, go on to bed now, i will be alright the rest of the night, thank you sister" Tia simply nods hugging her sister and leaves the room as the next guard walks up to the door.

"Guard, i wish for you to stay with Luna for the rest of the night" the guard nods and salutes.

"Yes princess." The guard walks into the room and stands just on the inside of the door, Luna sighs and looks over.

"guard, why are you in my private chambers?" The guard gulps nervously while not looking her in the eye.

"P-princess Celestia instructed me to stay with you the rest of the night."
