The Changeling II

I yawned at the sheer boredom of the display of power, or lack thereof, in Ponyville "I think that's about enough here. You ponies watch your backs! I WILL return!" I laughed maniacally before my horn glowed and I was teleported away. I smirked as I appeared in front of the Crystal Empire castle. I chuckled and walked inside "Ohhh Daddy!" I said as I headed to the throne room "Hello Dad. It is a great honor to humbly dismiss you and Cadence from your duties in the Crystal Empire!"

"Evergreen?"

"Oh, Aunt Twilight was just as naive before I dismissed her from her duties...permanently, just as I will do with you two!"

"You and what army?"

"I need no army. I have my most trusted allies, Fear..." I said, raising my left blade "And Terror..." I said, raising the other as I smirked. Shining growled and ran over, trying to trample me, but I tossed him onto his back and pinned him with my hoof "Surely you should've known the dark charm from mother would show up eventually~" I shashed his chest, not deep enough to kill him, but enough to mortally wound him. "You WILL die this day" I made another cut "So we can go about it the easy way or the hard way~" I made another slash "Not that it matters what your choice is~" my horn glowed as I gripped his skull in my magic, ripping it slowly and painfully out of his head as I cleaned it off and out, then filled it with wine  and took a sip "Ah...that was quite possibly my best work yet"

"Not...so...fast!..." Cadence stood behind me. I looked and saw tears in her eyes> I could tell she was angered, sad, and fearful all at once. I chuckled

"Please! I can see the fear in your eyes! And I will make that fear a reality~" I took another sip "Care for some wine? Or would I prefer I fill your skull with it?"

"You're a monster!" she screamed

"And you're...unoriginal. Seriously, is monster the only name people have for me these days?"

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

"Well I'm your step-son, what's that make you~?" I chuckled and finally ran at her "I'm bored with this conversation!" I drove my blade through her chest, then pulled it out and decapitated her, all the while, the wine remained in my father's skull as I drank the rest from it and sighed in relief "I love this brand, I do dare say." I then dropped the skull on the ground and teleported once more. This time, I was going straight to the top as I appeared in front of the throne room of Canterlot Castle. I used a quick enhancement spell on my blades, making them glow with my blood red magic aura. This would allow me to parry spells with them. This was it, the battle that would surely end with me on the throne and the entire world in my hooves. It would be epic. It would be legendary. It would be...in the next chapter
