What is everypony's darkest fear?

(Author's note: sorry I have not been posting chapters fast enough, I am currently pregnant and This little filly is a strong one. I'll be posting when I can)

The four ponies looked at the unconscious pink pony as Rainbow Dash flew off to gt help. Flutterfly still laid on the ground lifeless but slow breaths came from her swollen chest. Apple jack sat beside the pony that only yesterday was giggling and making cupcakes.They all wondered what happened to their friend, what made her attack Fluttershy? After a few minutes Rainbow Dash  came back with a cart filled with white nurse ponies. and a cart followed them that was labeled IPA, Insane Pony Asylum. As the white ponies gently put Fluttershy on the cart, four grey ponies grabbed Pinkie and threw her in the back of their cart. Both carts headed back toward ponyville as the others looked onward. Rainbowdash flew behind the carts to make sure Fluttershy got seen. Applejack looked down at the blood and yellow feathers that scattered on the ground, "What in tarnation is going on here? Why did Pinkie attack Shy like she gone saw a timber wolf?" Twilight just looked on and shook her head, "I don't know AppleJack, but I'm sure we will find out, I'm going to talk to Pinkie and find out."

Twilight went over to the Pony Asylum to confront the mad pink pony, whatever made her attack Fluttershy had to be a reason behind it. The large grey building towered over the land casting a dark shadow over Twilight almost blocking the sun. The lavender pony entered the building and was confronted by the two large ponies from before, the tags on their jackets read, 'Strait jacket, and Ink blot'. They could've been mistaken for twins if it wasnt for their cutie marks. Strait jacket stepped toward her, "Name?" Twilight wasn't sure weither or not to say heres or Pinkies, "I'm here to see Pinkie Pie, my name is Twilight Sparkle." Ink Blot looked through the paper work on the desk and nodded, "Third floor, room 136." she walked up to elevator and pushed the 3. When the elevator stopped, the doors opened to reveal a darkened hallway lit by only a few lights on the ceiling. each door was both a number and a name on them, she passed a few blank doors and she found Pinkie's room next to a pony named Screwball, weird name for a pony. Twilight looked through what meant to be a peep hole in pinkie's cell, there was Pinkie Pie in the corner. Her hair was flat and her pink caot looked as grey and lifeless as the walls around her. "Pinkie? It's me Twilight." Pinkie slowly turned her head toward the unicorn then turned away, "Hello Twilight, what are you doing here."

"i want to know whats wrong, what made you attack Fluttershy like that?"

"That wasn't Fluttershy...."

"What do you mean that wasn't Fluttershy? of course it was, couldn't you hear her screams? she was begging you to stop."

"LIES! I should've known you wouldn't believe me....nopony will ever believe me."

Twilight stood there confuse and a bit angry with Pinkie Pie, she wasn't making any sense and she wasn't answering any of her questions. "Pinkie, this isn't like you, now tell me why did you attack Fluttershy!" Pinkie popped in frount of the peep hold, making the unicorn jump back, "Cause she's a monster." PInkie's eyes opened wide as she saw a black aura around Twilight, she hadn't noticed it before cause she was far from the peep hole, "YOU! get away from me!" PInkie battered at the door. Twilight became scared and ran off screaming and crying. Pinkie stop battering the door and looked through it, she was no shadow and silently cried to herself. A dark chuckle filled the room as I manifested myself into Pinkie's cell, "I told you nopony would believe you...I'm going to make your life a living hell...and so far it's worked...I made you turn into a monster in the eyes of your friends...its only a matter of time before that cute little Pegasus dies for what you did to her..." Pinkie's ears perked up and tears filled her eyes in shock, "you mean that really was Fluttershy!? I actualy attacked my friend?" The pink pony stood up, her bod shaking with rage as she lowered her head, "You Monster!" she darted toward me but only passed through my body, She turned around and saw the image of Fluttershy on the ground, blood flowing on the ground. Fluttershy's body twitching as she tries to flap her broken wings, bones tore through her flesh as she screamed in pain, "Why Pinkie? Why would you do this to me?" PInkie screamed and hid under her bead as my laugh filled the room. "I'll see you later, I have to oversee your friend's death for you...I'll fill you in with all the little details later." I passed through the door and disappeared into the shadows.

At the hospital, Applejack and Rarity were standing next to Fluttershy's hospital bed. The only sounds that could be heard were the sounds of the EKG beeping and the doctor's hooves on the floor. Fluttershy's breathing sounds hoarse and shallow as the doctors finish the last of the test. The Doctors took the out of the room and looked down. Rarity jumped infront of Applejack, "Hows our Fluttershy? Will she be ok?" The white pony took a few steps back from the concerned unicorn, "I'm sorry, if she manages to even survive the night, would be a miracle. You are free to stay be her side for the night." Rarity's eyes filled with tears as she ran to the bed. Applejack stood and asked the doctor, "Now Doc, ah know Pinkie may be a tad bit hyper and such, but she cant hurt anypony. What are Fluttershy's wounds?" The doctor handed the med chart to the orange mare, "As you see in her x-rays, Fluttershy has suffered multiple fractures to her ribs and spine. Both her wings are broken beyond repair, therefore she will never fly again. Her skull is fractured and is bleeding internally. In other words, it's going to be a miracle if she lives." Applejack looked at Fluttershy as Rarity gently blankets her comatose body. "Thank ya doc."

(Fluttershy's Mind)

Dark Swirls circled around her as she panicked to find a way out of the blackness. The frightened pegusus screamed and cried out for help but no one answered. Just taunting laughter. "Who are you!? What are you doing! Please stop it!" the swirls stopped moving and loud ticking exploded in the dark. Fluttershy screamed and hid under her hooves. "Stop? Now why on earth would I stop? This is too much fun! watching you ponies squirm in my talons is almost orgasmic." Fluttershy sniffled and shook in fear, "Why are you doing this!? What did we do to you?" I slapped the yellow pegusus as she screamed, "You and your friends took EVERYTHING from us! Our father whom I havent seen since I was young, and whom my sister never met! We were so happy when he was free, but now just because yous couldnt handle a litle bit of change and chocolate falling on your precious flanks; yous thought it'd be fine to just to get rid of him." Fluttershy looked up trying to find the source of the voice. "Discord? Your father?"

(Real World)

"Discord...?" Fluttershy whispered in her sleep. Applejack and Rarity both looked at each other in confusion. They turned around to see Twilight panting and sweating. Rarity ran over to her and helped her from falling over, "Darling, what happened?" Twilight caught her breath and shook her head, "I don't know...Pinkie was going crazy. Screaming about Fluttershy being a monster, and attacking the door the separated us. I'm worried about her. I have to talk to Zecora." Twilight turned to toward the door but Applejack quickly blacked her way. "Uh-huh Twi, you ain't going anywhere this late. you're just gunna haf'ta wait til morn'in. Now, me and Rarity are gunna stay the night here with Fluttershy. She's whisperin about Discord as if she's talkin to someone."

"That gives me even more reason to go to Zecora now!"

"Twilight I must say, I know you're worried about Fluttershy and Pinkie pie, but it is far to late to be heading into the Everfree forest this late."

"You're right...I'm sorry I'll wait till tomorrow to talk to her."
