The scent of flowers.
The sound of a stream.
Birds, chirping their song.
I rolled over, half-asleep. I lazily opened one eye, then another. "I love the sight of the sun," I murmured, stretching out and closing my eyes once again. "Helps me to wake up..."
Wait. The sun? I shot straight up, wide awake. "W-where did my hou-house go?" I was laying down in the middle of a field, about 2 kilotrots from the nearest town. I blinked several times before running a hoof through my grayscale mane. "Okay, calm down Daring." I realized that I was hyperventilating now. Smacking myself with my hoof a few times, I forced myself to calm down. I groaned. "Why I'm I so scared! I've done worse things than waking up in a field of Celestia-knows-where! I. Can. Do. This!"
Finding myself relatively calmer, I took to the skies.
