The slooshing of the green liquid filled his new made ears as his insectoid brothern trashed about. His blue eyes held shut as his body began to transform. An equine body started to take shape as his body jerked about. The loud thumping was heard outside the tree as long hooved legs reached out for the sound. The black bent horn that jutted out of his head scrapped against the hard wood. The scratching grew more louder and the horn more eager to escape. It was chorus of thumping and heaving as the bark split. The crack burst as the creatures emerged from the tree. Chittering filled the air of the murky pond, all curious and unsure. Confusion spread through the group like a disease. What where they? How are they? What to do? The questions were asked throughout the creatures but the flapping of their fly-like wings, the stretching of their new legs, and the breath that each changeling drew in made them certain of one thing. That the were alive. Panting, My hands outstretched, grasping for the memory. My mind scrambled to remember what had just happened as it faded away. All thought were handing to that last sliver of my family the memory went back to the far recesses of my mind. My wails drew back as the lavander human stood with eyes widened as she held me down, "Are you okay?! Do you need some medical help? I can get you to the hospital!" "No, I'm fine, I think," I said in between breaths. "Are you sure," the girl inquired as she releases her grip on my shoulders, "You were sceaming a few seconds ago." I pulled the blankets over my head and turned my back on her, "It was just a bad dream." "Alright if is you say so, Candy Heart," the girl said heading back to her desk, "Say anything if you need me." I nodded,  "Okay Twilight," and went back to staring at the violet walls as my stomach rumbled, aching for some much needed love. Since I had arrived I have been deprived of any love so I had to go off the reserves that I had taken form the wedding. I sighed as Twilight tapped my shoulder once more, "Hey do you have the History textbook Professor. Cranky gave us? I cant seem to find find it and I've been looking all over for it though I can't find it anywhere! Oh I really hope I didn't lose it! You're my only hope!" I grunted in an upbeat tone, "Did you check that library of a room of yours?" "Hey it's not bad to be prepared for school. I bet you have not studied for any of your tests yet, have you?" she smirked, as she reached out her hand, "Now please return me back my property." I was about to interject but I turned back and shuffled through the sheets. Grabbing the hard cover I gave back to Twilight my (very weak and now human) arms dropped from the weight, sending the book tumbling into the floor by Twilights feet. "Huh, that's not my textbook," Twilight Sparkle commented with a raised eyebrow as I stared at the leather cover. The title buried  into my eyes as the girl picked up the book. With my mouth agaped she read the title before I could react, "The creatures of Equestria. By Twlight Sparkle?" She stared at the page with an eyebrow raised, "What is the meaning of this? I have never written a book. Especially not one about mythical creatures." Twilight put down the book on her desk, dusting the cover while flipping through its contents. I inhaled sharply, crossing fingers for her not to find my page as I walked towards her desk. "What are you even looking for anyways?" I exclaimed, watching her skim through the book, "Why do you want to read that?" "Well it's because I wanted to read some written by me though I haven't written anything here," Twilight Sparkle explained, glaring at me through her thick glasses, "It's not like I get to see that everyday." "Your counterpart always does," I mumbled under my breath. She glared at me harder, adjusting her lens, "What did you say?" Twilight turned to acuse me. "I said nothing," I stared at her confused, my fake claim working since I was a great "actor".
