Sparky Adventures
Talking to the Princess
Load Full StoryNext ChapterHi there. My name is Spark Light Blitz. I live in Canterlot with my big brother Lightning Blaze Sparks. I am eight years old and Blaze is seventeen. I admire him a lot. He is the fastest Pegasus across Equestria- No, he is the fastest in the world! Blaze said this was natural. I hope one day I will be as amazing as him.
Today, Blaze said that we had to go to the castle to talk to Princess Celestia.
I was lying on the couch searching in the TV for something good. "Okay, I have nothing to do anyway."
Once we arrived at the castle, we were greeted by several Royal Guards.'I will never be used to this' I tought. They treated us like royalty because Blaze was one of Princess Celestia faithful students and also because I was a Alicorn. Some of them helped us to get to the Throne Room, where Princess Celestia was waiting for us.We walked up to Princess Celestia and I was the first to speak.
"Why did you call us here?" I said, earning a disapproving look from Blaze.
"SPARKY!!!" He said, with annoyance.
"What?" I was a little confused. It was only a question, wasn't it?
"Forgive my little brother, Princess. I know I taught him to behave better in front of royalty, but it seems he is like that." Blaze said while sliding a hoof on his face.
"Oh, it's no problem. He is just curious. He currently reminds me of a young Pegasus who acted the same way..." She said smiling. Blaze blushed at this and tried to change the subject.
"Oh, well... Heh heh... I... need to talk to you of something important."
She nodded. "Go on."
Blaze took a deep breath. "Sparky and I will move, but I can not think of a good place and..."
"And you want me to sugest a good one, don't you?" She asked softly.
"Yes, if not uncomfortable." Blaze was a little worried. And if the princess did not want them to move? His mind gave several laps thinking about it until the Princess interrupt his thoughts.
"Of course it's not uncomfortable and I already have a great place in mind." She smiled. Blaze let out the breath he did not know he was holding. I don't know why the ponies acted like this when they need to ask something to the Princesses.
"Really? What?" Blaze was excited. He always liked the princess ideas.
"You're going to Ponyville!" She exclaimed.
"Ponyville?" I asked. "Doesn't sounds fun..."
"Why not? It is better than the Flying Competitions..." Blaze said. I looked at him with a annoyed face.
"It's the only thing you do! This and read all the books in our library!"
"Hey! I have not read all the library books... yet." Blaze was starting to get embarrassed.
"One day, you got my Magic Practice books and locked yourself in the bathroom! You only came out when finished reading it! Why would you want to read these books?" I said with a angry face.
Blaze was blushing at this. "Well... I... I found them interesting..."
"See?"
Princess Celestia was trying to hide her laughter. Blaze then turned to she and then back at me. "We'll discuss that later. Now we better go home and start packing our stuff."
The Princess looked at us. "Before you go, I want to introduce you to someone."
We stopped and looked at her. "Who?" We said at the same time.
Princess Celestia pointed with a hoof to the side of the throne, where a young dragon was watching everything.
"Blaze, this is Spay, your new dragoness assistant." She waved at us with a claw and we returned the gesture.
"Oh my gosh, a dragon is our assistant! I can't belive this!" I said, failing to control my excitement.
Blaze face-hoofed. 'This will be long adaptation' He thought.
Back in our house, we began to pack up what we were going to take. I packed all my Wonderbolts posters, my clothes, my toys and my books. I took it into the living room where Blaze was already waiting.
"C'mon, Sparky!" He said. "I don't want to miss the train!"
"I'm coming!" I said. "All I have is too heavy!"
Blaze sighed. "Here, let me help you." He started pushing everything like if it was nothing. I was impressed with his strenght.
"Wow! You make it sound lighter than a feather!" I said.
"I not only train my wings, Sparky. Now, let's go to the train station!"
"Calm down" Spay said. "There is no need to arrive at the station now. There's still an hour for the train to leave. Meanwhile," she at Blaze. "Blaze, tell me a little more about you."
"What?" Blaze said.
"Sparky told me all about himself on the way here. But you just talked a little."
"Okay" Blaze sighed and turned to me. "Sparky, you can leave us alone for a moment? Go buy an ice cream or something..." His expression was a little sad.
"Oh... are you going to tell her that secret you don't want to tell me?"
"Sorry, but yes."
"Okay then... I'll come back faster than a barefoot rabbit on a hot track!" I said trying to distract me from the fact. Blaze and Spay Laughed at this. I opened the door and went flying.
"He is always like this?" Spay asked.
"Just while he breathes." The two exploded laughing before Blaze stop with a small cough.
"Okay" His face was serious. "Time to tell the truth."
After Blaze finished explaining, Spay was froze in place.
"So... You and Sparky..." She was at a loss of words.
"...Yes..." Blaze was now a little sad. "But please, don't tell this to him."
She raised a claw. "You have my word!" She smiled. Just then I opened the door.
"Hey guys! Ready to go?"
"Okay, little brother. Lets go." He said trying to hide his sadness.
"Horray!"
In the station, I was quite excited when the train left. Blaze looked at me and smiled.
"Excited about the move to another city?" He asked.
"No, I'm excited because I'll make new friends!" I bounced in my seat. It was getting late, Blaze looked out of the window and saw that it was dark already.
"Okay, this is a long trip, so I think is better that we get some rest."
"Yeah..." Spay yawned. "I'm a little tired..."
"Oh... Can't I be up a little more?"
"If you want to miss the arrival in Ponyville..." Blaze said. My eyes widened at this.
"Good night, you to!" I said before run to the bed. I don't wanted to miss it.
