The Demon

[Two days earlier. 11:45 am.]
Out of all the things to happen to a monster his size, losing his head had to be the funniest and absolutely annoying thing to happen. It was funny because losing your head, quite literally, was amusing to him and his friends. As if he had any. The bad thing about it was he had to guide his own body to find it. Him , besides a few monsters inside the labs, were scary in their own way. That lion was easily annoyed and hot tempered, the warthog made it his personal mission to make others miserable, the shark and wolf would eat anything that was thrown in front of them, and then their was HER. The spider. She made it her mission to hunt down the males of the labs and stalk them until they would integrate with her. Personally, he didn't mind the attention from the female. Now if she was a different form then a spider that was twice as big from all the other monsters then he would take the bait.
Moving on, the flaming cow skull sat and waited fro his body to find him, again. Hearing heavy footsteps, his cow skull gave a slight smile. A pair of huge blood red hands picked up the skull and placed him at the top of a towering red goliath. He signed and continued his walk into the desert. The heat didn't bother him, it was almost like he was immune to it. This benefit was his favorite feature of being a lab rat for Scum Labs. He hated the labs with a burning passion. No pun intended. They forced him to drink their ass tasting soda. It was all for the sake of science they said. They said he would be paid enfold for it. If their was one thing he hated most of being lied to. Lying to a monster like him a very unwise decision. For a monster of his brutality, being lied or betrayed brought out the animal in him.
He soon came apon what looked like little ponies with a carriage. Two in the front pulling it, and from what he smelled, two more in the back. Noticing how they haven't spotted him yet, the red giant ducked behind a rock. He watched as the ponies passed by the rock he was hiding without knowledge of what was looking at them. He then saw something that made him growl under his breathe with his skull looking angry. More ponies followed behind the carriage, but they were dressed differently and were carrying weapons of some sorts. He spotted one who had a sinister grin on its face. He watched as the ponies slowly followed the carriage. The red goliath took it apon himself to follow them. He talked to himself as he followed the ponies, his voice was low with a slight echo to it.
"Alright Nick...time to show you're still human."
[Dodge Junction.]
Nick had never seen a town quite like this before. He hid behind a series of rock formations so that the ponies couldn't see him. Having his bitter judgment back, Nick didn't want to attract attention just yet. Hopefully, the white ape that he met with has kept that promise as well. Though looking as though he was a spawn of hell, Nick wasn't a social monster. He preferred to be left alone most of the time to think. Thinking about his future, if he'll ever have one again. Spinning his head around, Nick returned his attention to the town. Seeing the ponies he had been tailgating the entire time.
He watched as the carriage ponies stopped outside a small building in the town. The two other ponies in the back climbing out, it appeared to be a mother with her child. He turned to the outskirts of the town, not seeing the ponies who were following the carriage. Nick knew this was suspicious. Where did those ponies disappear too? They couldn't have just left without him knowing. It was hard to get anything past Nick, he was very observant monster. Right on queue, the weapon wielding ponies walked into the town. The citizens ran inside most of the buildings, clearly terrified of the group. He watched as the group surrounded the carriage. Nick could hear the ponies talking to each other.
"So you ponies want to do this the easy way? Or the hard?"
Some of the menacing ponies laughed and brought out their weapons. The mother grabbed her foal and held her tight. He heard one of the carriage ponies speak out against the ponies.
"Now listen, we don't want trouble from you bandits."
Bandits eh? Nick thought this was interesting to him seeing how everything else in this world tame compared to earth. Nick leaned in from behind the rock, seeing of the bandits would do anything. One of the bandits, who Nick was guessing, was the leader because of the armor he was wearing. He was wearing a metal shoulder brace that was strapped to his neck. He had a typical black Mohawk which most bandits he saw in video games wear. None the less, Nick listened in.
"Well see...that ship has sailed. Now what we want from you is everything inside that carriage you got."
The carriage ponies eyes went wide. The lead pony who was talking with the bandit leader gritted his teeth. The pony leader then pulled something from behind him, it was a large blade, a machete he guessed. He watched as the bandits circled the carriage ponies. Nick already didn't like these ponies. From the looks of how empty the town became when the bandits entered town, they had an element that made them known. Fear. The town folks were scared of them, letting them come in and take what ever they want when they want. Bullies, that's what they were. Nick could feel anger boil inside of him. Gripping the hill with his large hand, cracking the surface with his strength. The bandits stopped circling the carriage, all exchanging looks of evil. One of the bandits swung a wooden bat, hitting the lead pony in the back of the head. He collapsed to the ground, the screams of the female and the crying of the foal could be heard. Nicks boiling point exploded, he let out a menacing roar, catching the attention of the ponies in the town below. Nick stomped down the hill, his enormous arms swinging side to side with fists at the ends of them. The earth rumbling under with every step.
The bandits scrambled like cockroaches. Running in separate directions, colliding into each other at random. Nick stomped on some of the bandits. Their bodies becoming flat on impact. Nick then picked up a female bandit that was running away from him. He punched and bit his hand, trying to break free from the monsters grip. Nick chuckled, grabbing the ponies torso with his other hand. He could hear her plead for her life as he gripped her. Without hesitation, Nick bent the pony in half. The sound of her spine snapping was music to his ears. Nick threw the pieces into his jaw, grinding the parts within. He swallowed the parts large gulp. Remembering why he came down here, Nick turned to the carriage ponies. The lead holding the back of his head with a bloody rag. Nick stepped toward the ponies, his footsteps rumbling the ground. The demon kneeled to the group, he tried to speak with a caring voice but his echo made it a little difficult.
"Are you alright?"
The female walked up to Nick. Her orange fur shining in the sunlight. Behind her leg was her child, looking at Nick with a curious look. The females voice was, unlike Nicks, was soft.
"Were fine, my father just suffered an injury."
Nick looked up, seeing the other male pony helping the other one on his hooves. He felt a soft pat on his leg, looking down to see the foal looking up at him. The foals eyes were huge with sapphire pupils. From the sound of it, he was no older then six.
"If you don't mind me asking sir. What's your name?"
Nick admired the child's manners. Nick chuckled grabbing his cow skull with his hand and lowering it to the foal. The foal brought up his arms in defense, a small squeak escaping him. Nick chuckled again, the foal lowering his hooves to see. The mother came from behind joining in on the laugh.
"My names Nick little guy."
[Present Day.]
[19:30 pm.]
Nick was brought back to the present from his flashback. Seeing night had descended apon Equestria. His fire illuminating his skull inside the swamp. He forgot how long he had been walking in the swamp. It must have been hours since he last saw a populated area. He heard a large building collapse in the distance. Running toward the sound in a hurry. Nick stopped at the tree line, seeing a large web in the middle of Dodge Junction.
"You have got to kidding me." Nick said to himself, gripping his horns.
Nick then saw the female spider he was all to familiar with. She had destroyed the town, taking it over and making it her own domain. Nick didn't want this to go unanswered for. He stepped out of the tree line, stomping toward the web with a growl in his throat. Nick brought his arm back and grabbed the spider by her neck. She squirmed in his grip, trying to bite him with her massive fangs. Nick had to admit, he was surprised he was holding up Sarah with one hand. He roared in the spiders eyes, both monsters stopping and looking at each other.
"Nick?" Sarah said softly.
Nick dropped the spider and crossed his arms with an angry look on his skull.
"Hi Sarah."
The monsters stood in silence in the middle of the web. The moment became awkward. Sarah spoke up.
"So uh...what brings you here?"
"Were not staying here." Nick growled.
Sarah's eyes went wide and looked at Nick.
"With the town destroyed, most likely military will come in to kill you. Our best chance is to find who other came here to, agreed?"
Sarah nodded. Both monsters then started walking under the moonlight. Nicks fire acting like a torch.
