Chapters Cadance stood tall in her damaged throne room, battered, exhausted, and wounded, but not defeated. Around her were the numerous corpses, Both of her guards and the abominations.. They all fought and died bravely, and now there was not a soul here but her own.
The Crystal Empire had been attacked. in a short notice, what defense that was mounted up were blown through with frightful ease under the endless bombardment from artillery pieces, her precious gem tarnished, it’s beautiful subjects violated in ways as creative as horrifying.
When she heard the tell-tale hoofstep clopping along the crystal floor of her palace, she knew what was coming for her. But she hadn’t the strength to keep on fighting, not anymore. Standing was already a struggle, but she is determined to not go down without biting back.
“Sunshine, sunshine..” The voice echoed along the halls as it’s owner turned the corner into the room, “Lady bug awake..” her lips parting into an ear-to-ear grin when she sees the Crystal princess still standing. “Clap your hooves..” There was a sickening crunch as a hoof step onto the lifeless skull of a pony on the floor. “And do a little shake!”
“Twilight.” Cadance said cooly, doing a superb job in keeping up her appearance as her back straightened a little. She flared her wings out slightly in an attempt to show that she still have her own dignity even now.
“Cadance.” The other mare replied as she step closer to the pink alicorn, her gaze fixed upon her victim with sadistic glee. “You know that you’re not going to leave this room alive, don’t you? you cheating Whorse.” Twilight asked, biting verbally at her former foalsitter.
“How does it feel? To see everything you love and worked so hard for lay in ruins around you... and that you are so powerless to stop it, hmm?” She asked further, taking more steps closer to the other alicorn. “I’m going to make sure that nopony survives this, you know. They’ll be ravaged, violated, and then everything is going to burn and nothing will be left but ashes and dusty old memories.”
Twilight steps closer, over a dead crystal guard as she came face-to-face with the Princess of love. “And nopony will be there to save them or you. You’re going to die, everything you’ve done unmade.. how does that make you feel? Hmm?”
Cadance raised her chin a little, refused to be intimidated by this Daemon princess that she once called a friend and sister. “I’ll feel just fine, actually.” She answered, which made Twilight paused in confusion. “My ponies lived full lives, they’ve had generations of peace and prosperity, with countless festivals and happy memories that they’ll take to their graves. I’ve lived many lifetimes over, had lovers and made new friends. You call me a cheating whorse, but I still love and cherish the memories I have of Shining Armor to this day”
Twilight’s confused quickly turns to anger, then to pure, unfiltered rage. “YOU LIE! ” with a quick flash of her horn, a dark purple ring of magical aura appeared around Cadance’s throat and squeezed, choking the pink alicorn as she was slammed into the floor. “YOU FORGOT ABOUT HIM! LEFT HIM TO DIE ALONE! YOU’LL HAVE TO PAY! ” Twilight screeched as she lifted Cadance’s head up only to slam it down against the crystal floor again, making a nasty crack on the floor.
“You locked yourself behind closed doors, surrounded by your research and toys for centuries… turned away every chance of making new friends after yours died.. you haven’t even found love.. you haven’t even lived, but I have.” Cadance continued to talk despite Twilight’s doing her best to squeeze the life out of her.
“They’ll never forget this.. they’ll never forgive you.. You’re too far gone... not.. even.. the Twilight that I’ve raised..” Cadance choked out through labored gasps, her eyes have began to swell badly and she couldn’t see very well anymore. “They’re waiting for me.. on the other side... with.. open hooves.. can you say the same?”
That had only agitated Twilight further. She had wanted Cadance to beg for mercy, to apologize and beg for forgiveness, for a quick and painless death. Not this! It boiled her blood, and she crushed her former foalsitter harder against the floor with magical might, the crystal around it as she pushed weight down upon her.
Cadance couldn’t feel most of her limbs now, being delirious. It was nearly nice. The crushing weight felt little more than an uncomfortable pressure on her chest as she choked out her last breath. “My punishment onto you.. is to live..”
There was a sickening crunch, and Cadance was no more.

Doesn't feel like one of my finest piece. Thoughts?
"Stand fast, guards! Stand fast!" Shouted Captain Sidewinder with magically amplified voice as bolt after explosive energy bolt battered against the shields covering 'The Bastion', Equestria’s most famous fortress. that have held back countless waves of hostiles throughout the history, from the horde of diamond dogs in a time before history, the Swarm of changelings, and now, the warped, Chaos ponies.
Not once have The Bastion failed to protect Equestria from harm both Foreign, or Domestic.
Every attack on it has been repelled, broken and routed. It has the best Shield specialists on the duty, rumored to be able to handle anything thrown at them, even by Celestia herself!
The bombardment stopped, and for a moment there was silence. Unicorns panted, Guardsponies darted their eyes around to see where the next attack will come from.
"Hah! Is that the best the Daemon Princess of Lies can come up with!? Pathetic!" Sidewinder taunted.
Then there was a distant whistling. A white burst of cloudy smokes exploded above their shields, flowing down gently, pulled by gravity.
"What's this? They decided to attack us with Smoke and Clouds!? They're right! She truly has gone mad!" Sidewinder laughed as the odorless clouds descended upon them. The others were starting to feel a little less tense, thanks to their Captain's continuous taunts at the enemy.
Sidewinder felt something in his eyes then, he reached up to wipe it to see what it was, and it was tears. That was strange, why is he tearing up? He tries to wipe his eyes some more but found himself suddenly losing his balance. He had to quickly place his hoof down, his legs spread out in a steady stance, and he tried to keep himself standing as he felt a tightness in his chest. His nose started to run and his mouth began to drool. He didn't understand what was going on, and the proud captain struggled just to keep standing, as if he were a newborn foal. He looked around, seeing his prized Legion of Guards begin to collapse. Some curled up, some convulsed in pain as their eyes watered, their noses ran and their mouths drooled.
Sidewinder tried to blink the tears away, tried to call a spell to memory, but nothing came to him, He couldn't even blink. The nerves in his eyes had fused, forcing him to look on as the ponies under his command moaned and groaned in agony. As pain the likes of which nopony could even imagine assaulted their every nerves, he lost control, soiling and wetting himself like a foal. Around him, so did the others.
It was agonizing. He couldn't move anymore, his legs were locked in the stance that he took as every nerve in his body rapidly decayed and melted down or fused to his muscles. “What kind of weapon is this?”, he thought to himself. “Something of such cruelty..”
"It... It t'aint fair.." He managed to choke out his last words as he felt his throat squeeze. His lungs pushed out the last of his breath.
Captain Sidewinder died, standing his ground. Despite the inconceivable pain of having every nerve in his body destroyed, despite seeing his entire legion died drooling and soiling themselves like mewling foals, despite the faces locked in anguish, the proud captain died standing his ground.
At the other end of the battlefield, beside an array of use a better adjective large artillery pieces, Twilight lowered her binoculars and smiled a pleased but sadistic smile. She muttered under her breath.
"Where is your Goddess now? "

This one was almost uncomfortable to write. And was even more vivid in my mind.

"Okay love... I'll wait for you then, whenever you're ready again..."
These were the exact words Shining Armor had told Cadence the day she left him over forty six years ago. He waited, and waited, and waited. For forty six fucking years he waited for her to return to him, waiting for when she was ready for him, for when she had enough of her life of fun and exploration with strapping, young stallions.
Every day, of every week, of every month, he would still faithfully wait for her. He refused to love any other mare, he only had room in his heart for Cadence. And he waited for her, even after receiving an invitation to her wedding. He still hoped to one day be with her again.
Even when she did not come to both of his parent's funerals, he still waited for her.
Even in the last few weeks of his life, he waited for her.
"It's okay, Twiley... Don't cry... I just have to wait and hold on a little longer... she'll come... I just have to… wait… a little…” He uttered as he laid on his death bed. his eyes slowly closing as he gave his last breath.
Cadance never showed up, not even to his funeral.
Twilight would remember that forever.
hate burned inside of her, fueled by the pain from seeing what became of her brother, what Cadence had done to him. How delusional she made him, believing that she would one day return to him. He withered away, rotting, until there was nothing left. he died at the age of 64, but he had lost his life the day she left him.
He was alive, but he didn’t live. All he did was wait, and wait, and wait for the day she returned. Cadence… That bitch… She did this. And Twilight couldn’t stop it, watching in hopelessness as her big brother wasted away.
She didn’t even come to his funeral...
.
It was then that Twilight was alone. She had lost everything. Her friends, her mother and father, and now her big brother. She had nothing
Hell knew no fury like the wrath that burned deep inside of the broken little mare. She was going to take everything that Cadence ever loved and burn it until all that is left is ash. The way Cadence had done it to her. And nothing was going to stop her.
Nothing...
