Chrysalis then woke up from her nap and checked her surroundings. She saw that all of her changelings were sleeping. She got up and walked around them making sure not to disturb someone. She finally got passed of the sleeping changelings, now all she has to do was past the guards.
She kept on walking until she saw a guard. She quickly hid behind a tall rock when the guard looked at her direction.
"I could have sworn I saw something. Oh well, must have been my imagination."He just shrugged and walked away. She went out of hiding, spread her wings and flew up. She kept on flying until 2 guards below looked up, she hid in a moving cloud.
"What was that?" said a guard.
"I don't know, but it could have been a bird." said the other guard.
"Yeah, to bad we can't feed on birds love. It's just...stupid." The first guard said. The guards then walked away. Chrysalis was moving with the cloud but was speeding it up a bit. She finally made it out and landed with the cloud still with her.
"Shoo!" she said to the cloud. It then floated away leaving her there. "Finally."
"Hello." Said a little changeling girl that was on her back.
"Ahh!"Chrysalis was startled by the little filly on her back. "What are you doing here Love struck?!"
Love Struck is a little changeling girl that hatched 5 years ago. She has a short purple mane and tail and purple eyes. She was a strange little filly because she did not feed on love but on regular food.
"Watcha doing? *gasp* Are we playing a game?!" She asked excitedly and climbed on her head. "Can we play hide and go seek? I'll hide you close your eyes and count to 10." She then got off her head and between a valley.
"Wait! Come back here it's not safe out here." Chrysalis said while trying to catch up to her.
Man she's fast for a little girl
She thought while looking under and between every rock that Love Struck can fit. She finally found her between a tight valley.
"You found me!" she said and giggled.
"Yes I did now can you come out here?" Chrysalis asked.
"Now you have too catch me!" Love Struck said and ran between the cracks.
*Groan* "You know what i'm not even going to go in there. I'm just going to sit here." She said and sat down in front of the crack. "And wait." She sat there for about 5 seconds until she herd Love Struck scream. "LOVE STRUCK!" Chrysalis then used her magic to widen the crack for she can fit in. She then walked inside the crack and then she sees a light so bright she has to cover her eyes.
"Chrysalis! Please help me! Please." Love struck yelled again.
"Don't worry Love Struck i'm coming!" Chrysalis yelled going into the light. When she reached there she found herself in a cave filled with gems. "Whoa..." She then shook her head. "No! I'm suppose to find Love Struck not look at rocks." Chrysalis then started to run around and tried to find Love Struck but found an opening.
"Help!" Love Struck yelled again.
"I'm coming!" Chrysalis said as she went for the opening. She then sees Love Stuck being held captive by some other pony in a robe. "Get away from her!" Chrysalis yelled as she charges towards the pony. The pony then turned and saw Chrysalis charging at him.
"Chrysalis?!" the pony asks removing the robe revealing Tinker.
"Tinker?!" Chrysalis asked shocked, she then tripped and accidentally knocks Tinker over and landed on him. When she opens her eyes she sees him and her touching each others muzzles. They both blushed and she got off of him, "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry Tinker!!!" Chrysalis apologized. But all Tinker did was smile, then he started laughing. Chrysalis took noticed of this and asked. "Uh, what's so funny?"
"Your back to your old self." He responded.
"I am?" Chrysalis asked.
"Yup not all strick and mean. I'm just glad to have the old you back." Tinker said.
"Well I guess I did change over the years." Chrysalis said.
"Yeah and you keep on getting cu..." Tinker then was cut off by Love Struck.
"Ok, you guys can stop flirting, also your just going to ignore the fact that he tried to hurt me?" Love Struck asked.
"Oh, I didn't mean to hurt you I just wanted to ask for some directions." Tinker explained.
"Then why do you keep following me?" Love Struck asked.
"Since you didn't give me directions I kinda decided to follow you."
"Sounds kinda stalkerish..." Chrysalis said.
"Well if you put it that way." Tinker said scratching the back of his head.
"Well it all worked out at the end." Chrysalis said.
"Kinda." Love Struck said.
"What do you mean kinda?" Chrysalis asked.
"Look!" Love Struck pointed at the wall where they came out of. It started to close.
"Oh, no. Run!" Chrysalis yelled. But when they reached there it already closed."No! No! No! No! No!" Chrysalis kept on banging on the wall. She then tried to open it up again or shoot at it, but it would bounce back. Luckily she doges all of them but burnt a little bit of her tail.
"Great now were trapped." Love Struck said.
"No where not." Tinker said.
"Really were not?" Love Struck asked.
"Yes, how do you think I ended up here?" Tinker asked.
"Then take us there please." Chrysalis begged.
"I't will take a long time." Tinker said.
"Yes please." Chrysalis begged.
"Ok follow me then." Tinker says and walks into a tunnel.
15 minutes later
"So then how long will this take?" Love Struck asked.
"A couple of hours." Tinker said.
"Oh, okay then *Yawns* i'm going to sleep." Love Struck says and falls asleep on Chrysalis's back.
"So how is the changeling kingdom?" Tinker asks.
"Bad." Chrysalis says looking at the ground.
Tinker immediately regrets asking the question so he asked another question.
"Okay, so 2 questions, 1. How come your shorter and 2. Did you change your hair style?" Tinker asks.
"Well, when we got blasted out of Canterlot and I got a critical hit it had a few effects on me." Chrysalis says. "For 1 it made me shorter so now i'm about the size of a regular mare. Another effect is that I can know sense a pony's affection to another."
"So wait your saying you can read ponies emotions?" Tinker asks all serious like.
"Yeah but not Changelings." Chrysalis sighs.
"Wow." Tinker says, "Ok, how about your hair."
"Hm? Oh well you see I kinda never liked my old one. It was nice, but I wanted to change it up a bit, do remember Applejack?"
"Yes, element of honesty."
"Well remember on how the tip of her mane is all tied up?"
"Well yes."
"So all I just did was tie up my mane a bit."
"Well it looks nice." Tinker says. He then spotted something on the corner of his eye. "Your just missing something."
"Really? What?" Chrysalis asks.
He then picks up a rose and puts it in her main. "There now it's perfect."
Chrysalis looked at the rose then Tinker "Thank you. Now I just have 1 question."
"What is it?" Tinker asks.
"How did you manage to survive out there in Equestria?" Chrysalis asked.
"I've been living in Ponyville." Tinker says. "I've been living in my own house and got a job."
"Isn't Twilight and her friends living there?! How come your living there and not get caught?!" Chrysalis asks frantically.
"I'll tell you in the morning." Tinker says "Right now you just need some sleep. You may not be with any of your guards but you need some rest."
"Okay, but tell me how you survive out there." Chrysalis said and puts down Love Struck next to her. She then covers love Struck with her wing to keep her warm. Chrysalis then felt a wing on her. She turned to see Tinker holding his wing out.
"Your going to get cold and I can't let that happen to my queen." Tinker said.
Chrysalis smiled and said, "Good night Tinker." Then she started feeling sleepy. "Also you don't have to call me queen, just call me Chrysalis."
"Good night... Chrysalis." Tinker says and fell asleep.
