Michael in equestria
In a room opposite to the one where we found our previous heroes and down the hall from the first we find our next protagonist a few days after the previous events. He’s hard at work doing something extremely important that’s surly to benefit everyone who sees his work.
“AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! FUCK ME!” Michael yells
And by important I mean he’s yelling like an idiot at a freaking video game
Michael continues to rage “get up there. GET UP THERE! GEEEEETTTTTTTT UUUUUP THERE! Hey look it’s a-me THE GUY WHO CAN’T FUCKING JUMP.”
Yes, this is our hero for this story people. Anyway, on this particular day while our hero goes about his usual business, he is completely unaware just how much today is going to surprise him. He continues to spout curse after curse and a few things that you wouldn’t expect any normal person would speak. There’s a sudden flash followed by a bright light rivaling the lighting in the room of which he sat. He quickly turns around to see what’s causing such a light.
“What is tha- AAHHHH!”
Michael is instantly sucked into the portal with no idea of where he shall wind up. However this incident had not gone unnoticed.
“uhhh…..”  He looks at his beer bottle “okay, its official. I gotta stop drinkin’ ”
Soon after being sucked through the portal Michael wakes up in a daze. His vision is slightly blurred. He rubs his eyes and is completely shock to see nothing but bright colors in the grass and the sky a lush blue.
“Uhhhgg where am I?”
He rubs his head but notices his hand feels weird. He brings it to his line of sight and is completely surprised to see it’s turned into a hoof. He springs to his feet only to fall on his stomach. He shakes his head and looks behind himself to see that his legs like his hands have turned into hooves. Among the things he sees there’s a tail tinted a light brown color and his body seems like a medium orange color. Also he’s wearing a small blue jacket with green lining and the achievement hunter logo on the front right side. Suddenly it hits him.
“I’ve been turned into a pony? I’m in the world of my little pony…. AWESOME!”
In excitement he looks to his side hoping to see wing thinking he may be a Pegasus but is shown only a normal back. He then starts to become even more excited and looks over at a nearby pond. He looks at his reflection in the water but sees no horn causing his excitement to quickly turn to a frown.
“What? I’m an earth pony? No wings or horn! I don’t get to fly or use magic? WHAT THE FLUFF! Fluff. Fluff? What the fluff? Wait I can’t say fluff? Fluff. Fluff. Fuuu……fluff. FLUFF! AHH fluff me up the plot.” He pauses. “Plot? The fluff I can’t say plot either. MOTHER FLUFFER!”
Suddenly a pink pony pops up and scares him causing him to flip backwards onto the ground. He looks up recognizing the pony.
“pinkie pie?”
Pinkie pie sees him “Hi there how do you know my name when I’m sure I’ve never seen you around here before you must be new what’s your name oh wait don’t tell me let me guess is it dodger, Colter, bailer, Flipper, le-”
Michael interrupts “actually its m-”
Pinkie shoves her hoof in his mouth
“DON’T TELL ME! I heard an M so is it Malcom, Mulct, markkas, Mitchell-”
“Michael! My name is Michael.” He yells
Pinkie pie grins “Oh, well why didn’t you just tell me that in the first place?”
His face goes into a scowl and he begins to shake his head in frustration. Then out of nowhere he hears another familiar voice.
“Twilight?”
Twilight comes galloping up the hill side stopping next to pinkie and Michael
“Pinkie I need you back at town hall getting things really for- oh I’m sorry I didn’t know you were with any pony I’m sorry.”
Pinkie pie looks between them "oh right. Twilight this is Michael. Michael this is twilight. She’s an alicorn but she used to be a unicorn until the elements of harmony-"
Twilight chuckles “Pinkie there’s no need to go through all the details. Hello I’m twilight sparkle and it’s great to meet a new face to ponyville. If you would like come with us and well show you around. However I have to ask that you watch your step because were getting ready for a visit from princess celestia and-”
Michael interrupts her “aww sweet is Luna gonna be there?”
Twilight goes dead eyed “oh no. what if luna dose come? I never thought of that. We only made a welcome celestia banner and there’s no time to-”
Michael stops her from ranting on “okay twilight seriously, take a chill pill, Pinkie can you get a second banner done before they show up?”
“You bet cha’” pinkie said hooping up and down
Michael: okay get on that. Twilight you head to town hall and make sure everything else is ready. Meanwhile I’ll take a trot around town and do some looking about. Oh and before I forget a little later if we get a chance I need to talk to you about something.
Twilight: Okay. Well I guess we’ll talk later.
With that the three of them make their way into ponyville and split up after reaching the town hall. Michael walks down a road looking
at the hustle and bustle of those around him in preparation of their guess arrival. So engrossed by his surroundings he doesn’t watch where he’s going and bumps into a white pony with a bright purple mane.
“Oh my, Darling are you alright? I’m sorry. My name is rarity by the way” the white pony said
Michael brushes himself off “It’s okay. I wasn’t watching either.”
“well I’m- oh NO! This is terrible” she said in a shock
Michael looks about worried “what?”
Rarity points toward Michael “your…your jacket is so bland and boring. Please come by my boutique sometime and I’ll make that thing look more fashionable. I’m busy at the moment though. Will you be at the guest dinner?”
Michael looks at her slightly insulted “sure?” he said unsure
Rarity trots off past Michael as he continues on in his same direction. He walks a few minutes and looks up hearing a buzzing noise above him. It’s rainbow dash fling around zipping by leaving rainbow streaks behind her. She then bolts toward the ground landing right in front of Michael.
Rainbow dash looks at him humorously “what’s up new guy? You are new around here right? The name is rainbow dash, weather patrol pony and THE fastest flyer in ALL of equestria.”
Michael shrugs “eh you’re alright.”
Rainbow jerks back and her mouth drops “”alright? I could fly circles around any other pony and they wouldn’t know it. Wait you want me prove it don’t you. I’ll race you right now.”
She drops down on her hooves and trots in place a bit. She looks at Michael with a devilish smile. “Ready, set, GO!”
She immediately jumps and takes off with her wings but doesn’t go very far as a lasso comes out from behind them and wraps around dash puling her back and to the ground.
Rainbow dash rubs her wing “ow! What were you thinking Applejack?”
“Beg ya’ pardon, but what are ya’ll thinking using ya’ wings in a hoof race” The orange cow-pony asked
Rainbow dash complained “come on I was joking. I was going to start over.”
Applejack shot her a look “uh huh and when was it you were going to start over exactly.”
Michael gives a short puzzled look at what just happened then shakes it off to speak up on the matter.
Michael: that’s okay I didn’t want to race anyway. Dash just got ahead of herself.
Rainbow dash gave an embarrassed laughter “sorry I guess I did come to a pretty dumb conclusion. You’re alright new guy.”
“Michael. It’s great to meet you two.” He said
Applejack greeted back “Name’s applejack. It’s nice to meet some pony new after all the crazy that went on lately.”
Rainbow dash turned to the orange pony “Aj get this rope off me. If we’re not going to race I should get back to practicing.”
Apple jack snickered “Alright hold still. Hey Michael if you don’t mind could you go check on fluttershy for us. She should be at her cottage
getting her birds ready to sing. Do ya mind helping her get things ready?”
“Can do” He answered
Michael turns around and trots off toward town square. There he sees fluttershy practicing with the birds. He trots up behind her and on the front leg. She immediately screams, tenses up and falls over like a fainting goat.
Fluttershy rolls over looking at him “oh hello. I’m sorry I didn’t see you. Um is there anything you needed. I’m sorry.”
Michael helps her up “no I’m sorry for sneaking up on you like that. My names Michael, I was asked to lend a ha….hoof so things are ready.”
Fluttershy crouched shyly “oh, well I just need to get the birds to synchronize for the song they will sing for the welcoming ceremony for princess celestia.”
Michael smiled “well I’d like to see their performance. If I notice any spots for improvement I’ll let you know.”
Fluttershy smiles and begins to direct the birds as they sing. Michael watches and when their done applauses their work. The birds and
fluttershy take a bow. She lets the birds rest and she shows Michael into the cottage where discord is sitting while a tea pot floats by pouring tea into a tea cup for fluttershy.
Discord sits the cup down “oh fluttershy you’ve done marvelous work preparing the birds for the celebration. Oh who’s this? Will they be staying for tea?”
Fluttershy waves a hoof “this is Michael.”
Michael shrugged “eh, I got time for tea.”
Discord grinned “goodie. Glad to know it.” They sit drinking tea and talking as time passes. Discord looks over and see’s Michael has no cutie mark “say I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this before.”
Discord notices the time and fluttershy runs out the house and gathers the birds. She rushes to get to the town square to set up their performance before the princess arrives. Michael gives chase thinking he could be of some help. Luckily they arrive in time to set up. As celestia and luna arrive the banners are raised, the birds begin to sing and rainbow dash begins to make arches out of rainbow streaks. The carriage lands and the step out as twilight and her friends greet them.
As the celebration goes about Michael gets to the point where he starts wanting to know what they are celebrating. He sees apple jack and rainbow dash standing by a table. He walks up to them and starts up a conversation.
Michael gets their attention “hey you two. What’s the celebrating about?”
Rainbow dash goes to comment, but remembered “that’s right you’re new.”
“We’re celebrating the-” applejack was interupted
They begin to hear screams coming from nearby outside and without a word all three of them bolt to see what was wrong. They bust through the door and see multiple ponies on the ground they look around but can’t see what is causing all the confusion. Twilight runs up with rarity and pinkie with her.
“Wait, where’s fluttershy?” Rainbow asked
“She’s tending to some animals that went into a panic.” Twilight answered
Michael chimed in “Okay. Do I have to ask the obvious question?”
Celestia and Luna land by them seeming worried.
Celestia asked “what’s going on here?”
Twilight answred her princess “We don’t know, whatever is going on just started.”
“I suggest we find the solution to this problem quickly.” Luna added
Michael points with his hoof “uhhh, problem solved.”
He points to a pony equal in size to Celestia with wings and a horn wearing dark red armor.
Celestia steps toward the pony “Speak! I demand to know why you bring down such an attack on my subjects. Who are you?”
“I am Equarion. I am the new ruler of equestria. Now suffer.” He answered
His horn glows silver and every pony around even Celestia and Luna fall to the ground. Michael however is left unharmed by whatever is causing their pain.
Equarion looked at him in confused rage “What? Why do you not bow to my WILL?”
Michael sneered “It must because I’m not really a pony. I’m a human.”
In the confusion Michael charged moving as fast as he could, not thinking of his safety but of others. Equarion grabs him with a levitation spell and slams him to the ground. He laughs at him and begins to walk away. Michael springs up tackling him but gets thrown into a wall. He stagers to his feet and stands his ground. Equarion gestures to Michael for him to try and attack him again. He charges again but gets thrown a second time. He looks over and sees fireworks. He grabs one and lights it quickly. It flies off and explodes in Equarions face. He begins thrashing around in pain and anger. He slams his face in the ground rubbing it violently to stop the burning.
Michael laughs in his victory “OH! Call me Heisenberg up in dis mare you fluff. Hey maybe they should start calling you gus you fluffing mare. Go get me a 3 piece and a large drink. What’s wrong you feeling the burn? Don’t mess with a guy who grew up in jersey and lives in Texas.”
Equarion grabs Michael with a levitation spell and throws him around and repeatedly slams him into a wall and throws him to the ground.
Equarion speaks through his pained burned face “I don’t know who you are, but I’m going to figure it out. I’ll be back shortly.”
He backs up and disappears in a puff of silver fire. Michael stumbles up as do the others. Every pony looks at him confused.
Celestia with an expression of concern “tell me. Tell me what you said again. Did you say you were a human?”
She looks at him with a mix of confusion, anger and fear.
Michael drops in his stance “Yes, you see I got sucked into this large portal and woke up here.”
Luna looks to her sister “So dear sister, it seems it’s happening again. Are you going to let things play out as they did one thousand years ago?”
Fluttershy questioned “What. What’s happening again?”
Celestia shot back to her sister “Luna. Please we discussed this.  Huh you see a human came here to our world shortly after the defeat of discord. A dark terror followed him here and started attacking everything it saw. The only one who would stand against him was the human.”
Luna interrupts “However the only way to stop the attacker was to give the human over to it as it demanded.”
Michaels head darts back “so you gave him to him.”
Luna gestured to her sister “she gave him over. I wanted to stand and fight.”
Celestia shot back “I had no choice!”
Michael argued “The fluff you had no choice. You gave him up to equarion and now he’s back-”
Celestia stops him “No, Equarion is not the one we speak of, this was a different foe. I have no idea where this Equarion has come from.”
She turns to twilight “Twilight you and your friends have to stop Equarion and send the human home.”
Michael speaks up “uh right here. Also the fluff you’re sending me home. I don’t know what brought me here but I think it best I say for the time being.”
Celestia turns to him intemitadingly “No, you are going back immediately and I think I know how. There is legend of a strange sword that possesses great power perhaps it can send you home. I don’t know where to find it though, Twilight?”
“I’ve read every book on magical and powerful items and haven’t seen anything like that.” twilight answered
Pinkie pie jumps up and down “oh, oh I have. I have. I have the book at home.”
Twilight looked curiously “you do?”
Apple jack: well let’s go get it and fast.
Michael, twilight and her friends take off to pinkies house to find the book. They barge through the door and rush up stairs.
Twilight: okay pinkie where’s the book.
Pinkie pie: in that cheats.
Pinkie trots up to the cheats and begins rummaging through it pulling out and throwing things away.
Pinkie pie starts searching the cheats “okay where is it? Where is it? Kettle? Nope. Map? Nope. Globe of equestria? Nope. Trixie’s hat? Nope.
Amelia Earhart? Nope”
Amelia rubs her head with a hoof “oh finally, I was in there for days. Where am I?”
Pinkie pie continues rummaging through the cheats “bowling ball? Nope. Ponynamacan from when rarity went crazy? Nope. Golf club? Nope. Ninja sword? Nope. Wait why do I have that? Mare do well costume? Nope? HERE IT IS!”
She grabs the book and gives it to twilight
Twilight looks over the book “The book of legends and stories of ancient artifacts of equestria. Why do you have this?”
Pinkie pie rolls her eyes “duh! It’s for legends and stories of ancient artifacts of equestria reading parties. Silly twilight you should know that?”
Rarity looks at twilight “Riiiiight, well then, shall we take a look and find our sword that can send our friend home.”
Twilight using her magic holds the book and flips through pages looking for information on the artifact they are searching for. Michael decides to chat up Amelia and learn her story while they wait.
Michael starts in “so this is what happened to you Amelia. How? Mind telling the tale?”
Amelia shrugs smiling “Sure, I was on my flight to howled island I tried to radio for help when an electrical storm hit. I saw a bright light and got blinded by it. I’ve been here ever since. Don’t ask how I got in that box though even I don’t know how that happened…. O wait yea I do. I walked into a store to buy something one day and tripped. I landed in that cheats and it shut on me. Whoops!”
Twilight sprang up “I found it. Listen to this. The sword of unicornica was a blade of great power that was mastered by a mighty hero. It vanquished many foes and was known for its beautiful jeweled unicorn figure that decorated the end of the hilt. It was laid to wait for the next wielder in a cave on the island of… oh no.”
Fluttershy looks on in worry “island of what?”
Twilight gulps “The Island of bergrum.”
Everyone gasp besides Michael and Amelia.
Amelia looks between the uneased ponies “what’s so bad about this island?”
“Well the island is its own legend. The legend says that ponies settled their years before canterlot were founded but soon they just……..disappeared.” Applejack explained
Michael chocked up a bit “Okay so we just got to find a supposedly ‘magic’ sword in the middle of a dangerous island where ponies mysteriously disappeared and were never seen or heard from again. Easy right?”
Twilight skims the book some more “not only that, but its way out on the ocean and we’re nowhere near the water. Even then it’s too far to fly and no balloon could get that far out.”
“So there’s no way to get there?” Michael says dropping to his flank.
Amelia laughs waving a hoof “I could get you out there. Follow me.”
Amelia quietly leads them out of town and into the forest. They knew it was dangerous but as long as they stuck together it would be fine. After little over an hour they finally stop and Amelia pulls back some vines reviling a large airplane.
Amelia smiled at the sight of her plane “she’s not much but she can get us where you want to go. I just need a map.”
With that they get the plane pulled out, cleaned it up, moved it to a take-off location and after getting in and finding a way to fit everyone they take off. Amelia is sitting in the pilot seat and twilight in the navigators’ chair. Michael and the others sitting in the back cramped but well enough that it doesn’t bother them to badly.
Twilight looks over the map “alright so at our current pace we should arrive at the island in about 5 hours.”
“5 hours, but that’s too long for me to be crammed in here like this.” Rarity complains
Michael snorts “Oh please. Try riding coach on a jersey airline.”
As time slowly passes the group talks over a few things and Michael tells them story about the ‘wonderful’ land of jersey. The plane creaks, shook and spurted the entire ride. After about an hour into the flight Michael gets agitated sitting in the same position without end.
Michael groans “Okay. If I don’t get off this plane soon I don’t know what I’ll do. It’ll be surgeon simulator with Gavin all-over again, maybe slender man.”
Pinkie pie shoots up “Is he that one guy with the big nose and shuffled hair and sounds like really funny when he says anything and is apparently British?”
Michael looks at her confused “Yea. How did you know that?”
“Oh, well when we first meet by the pond I found this metal thing and when figured out how it works I typed in your name and found all these videos of you and other people. I even subscribed to your channel but when I made my account it wouldn’t let me use my name because it was taken which I thought was weird but then thought since it was already my name that must be what it meant soooooooo now I’m registered under partypony238497. You yell a lot. Why?” pinkie says nearly breathless
Michael shakes a hoof left and right “it’s supposed to be funny.”
Pinkie shrugs and goes about watching videos from the laptop which Michael just noticed she had with her the entire time. After some more time goes by Michael starts to get drowsy and falls asleep. In his dream he’s sitting in a room with all his friends playing a game Gavin saying something only he would say and everyone around him making jokes about it. Then suddenly Burnie starts yelling.
Burnie stares at the screen “UP! UP!” He turns to Michael “UP! UP! UP!”
Michael jolts awake, applejack shaking him telling him to wake up.
Michael yawn “What? What is it?”
Amelia turns to the others “We’re here. Next stop Bergrum Island. Rainbow dash get this head set and bail out so you can help me find a landing zone. Flattest and longest strip you can find!”
Rainbow dash salutes her “you got it!”
Michael looks through the side window and sees the island covered in craters, jagged rocks and large mountain like structures that likely are filled with caverns and caves. Amelia grabs the head set with her teeth and passes it to Michael who tries to fit it on rainbows head but can’t quite get it. Apple jack leans over and adjusts it just right to fit on her head and dash starts messing with the volume and frequency.
Amelia turns on her headset “got it tuned? Can you hear me clearly?”
Rainbow dash speaks into the mic “yes and double yes.”
       Amelia gives the all clear and rainbow dash opens the planes door and jumps out. Twilight latches the door shut with her magic and Amelia begins a search for her landing zone. After a few minutes go by rainbow dash contacts them.
Rainbow dash taps the headset “Hey, are you nearby?”
Amelia holds her hoof to her head “I can barely see you. Did you find a landing zone?”
Rainbow dash speaks back into the mic “Yea I did. I also found the cavern we need to search.”
Rainbow guides the plane to the landing zone and every pony gets out.
Twilight double checks the symbol carved into the cavern and drawn in the book “This is it. Alright every pony I suggest we get moving.”
Amelia looks at the plane “I’ll stay out here and look about. Keep that headset on okay.”
Rainbow dash nods and they enter the cavern. Almost immediately Michael notices the size of the caverns halls. The plane could easily fit through if it didn’t get shaky. They walk for several minutes ending up in a much larger area with a giant dark void of a drop under the naturally created bridge. They start to here laughter. Just across the bridge they see Equarion standing there staring them down.
Equarion smiles menacingly “So glad you could make it. I was starting to wonder if you would show up. However I’m sorry but I have no time for any of this so I’ll kill you now.”
He shoots a beam from his horn blasting the bridge sending everyone flying toward his direction. They quickly get up and look back in time to see the bridge is collapsing behind them at an incredible speed.
Apple jack snaps toward everypony “I suggest everypony RUN!”
With that they take off as fast as they can, even rainbow dash sweep up in the panic runs instead of flying. Equarion readies a second blast when suddenly he sees a dim figure in the distance. It’s the plane rushing through the cavern hall. As it passes by the others still running it turns with the wings in a horizontal line slamming into Equarion and throwing him to the other end of an enormous cave. Enraged Equarion fire a blast of light at the plane which goes spinning out of control flying upward straight through a large hole in the dome of the mountain cavern barely missing with the edges of the plane’s wings. Blinded and one hoof stuck in the steering wheel, she does the only thing she can think of. She updates her status to her crew.
“Mayday, mayday! I’m blind in the sky. I repeat. I’m blind in the sky. I’m goi-”
           The radio cuts off and rainbow becomes furious. She spreads her wings and flies as fast as she can over the bridge and within seconds creates a sonic rain-boom sending her rocketing toward equarion who simply swats her away sending her skidding toward the edge of the platform their standing on where she comes to a halt right at the edge. The others still running from the collapsing bridge reach the end as the falling rocks start to nip at their hooves. They make their way toward rainbow dash when Michael halts at the sight of the sword stuck in a rock at the top of a set of circular stairs, mesmerized by the sword
“Whoa! It kind of looks like a dwmer great sword form Skyrim. It’s a bit bigger, a wider blade and the jeweled ornament on the end of the hilt. It’s just so amazing.”
Equarion scoffs “To bad you’ll be dead before you do anything else.”
He lifts Michael and throws him across the room. He walks up to him and readies his horn to finish him off. Apple jack runs up in-between them and bucks Equarion as hard as she can. She grabs her lasso and lassos his legs. He steps out but Michael grabs the rope with his teeth and they both tug hard, but Equarion jerks his hoof back ripping the rope away. He starts walking toward the sword and Michael starts to walk staggered behind him, Equarion turns and begins to fire a beam. A giant flash causes Michael to be stop in place. He looks up and Equarion is standing next to a portal.
Equarion gestures toward it “You know what this is? It’s your way home.”
“So you brought me here. Why?” Michael protested.
Equarion grinned “To destroy you, but I can’t be bothered to do that anymore. I got more important plans.”
Michael gave a skeptic look “what plans?”
Equarion motioned to the portal “None of your concerns. You have two choices. You can go home or you can die. Look through the portal and make your choice”
Michael approaches the portal and sees what’s on the other side. It’s Lindsey, Gavin, Barbra and the others all looking very sad. Suddenly the reality of this whole situation hits him like a truck.
Michael turns to the armored pony “Lindsey? Why is she crying? Why are my friends so depressed?”
Equarion grins wickedly “how long do you figure you’ve been gone? To them you disappeared days ago. I’ve enjoyed listening to their wales and cries but now it grows tiresome. Choose Mr. Jones, return or die?”
Michael looks back at Linsey “she looks so sad.”
Equarion retorts “Well of course she’s sad. She hasn’t shut the fluff up about you for 4 days now. NOW CHOOSE!”
Michael looks on into the portal “Lindsey. I….. I want to but” he looks over at the others and with a heavy heart “I can’t.”
Equarions head jerks back “WHAT!”
Fluttershy yells out to him “No, Michael now’s your chance to go home. We’ll be alright, go.”
Michael clenches his fist “NO! I can’t do that. If I leave now and Lindsey knew what I did to get home she’d never forgive me and neither would I.”
Equarion groans “Is that your final say.”
Michael with eyes full of tears “YES.”
There’s a tingle in Michaels shoulder. He looks and sees an image of a red sword pointed downward through a blue heart. However the moment is cut short as equarion roars in an enraged fury and sets the portal on fire. Michael watches as what may have been his only chance to go home burn away in silver flames. Equarion levitates Michael chocking him.
Equarion grimaces "I gave you your last chance. NOW DIE!"
He throws Michael toward the swords edge in hopes he be sliced in two and watches as he flies closer and closer to the blade. Apple jack covers her face with her hat and pinkie closes her eyes while rainbow and twilight look away. Fluttershy and rarity though can’t look away as Michaels back reaches the sword and then, a bright light erupts on the platform covering Michael and the sword in blinding light.
Michael suddenly cries out “AHHH! That fucking stings. You tried to kill me you motherfucker!”
He steps out of the light back to his normal self with the sword of unicornica in hand and wearing a set of gold armor. The breast plate with a pony head carved into and unicorn head shaped pauldrons.
Michael points the sword to his attacker “Hey equarion! Why don’t you try picking on someone your own size? Hey, twilight you and the others go find Amelia, make sure she’s okay.”
“What about you?” twilight asked
Michael smirked “I’ll be with you soon but first I got to teach this mother-fluffier a lesson.”
Twilight and the others take off toward the far exit as Michael attacks equarion so they can get out safely.
                                                                          [Meanwhile back at Michael’s apartment]
Gavin tries to console his friend Lindsey “Don’t worry Lindsey well find him and when we do, I’m gonna punch him in the gob for disappearing on us.”
Barbra acting as chipper as possible “Hey I’m sure he’s fine. We’ll find him. Rain or shine he’s somewhere and well just don’t give up.”
Lindsey looks away “thanks guys, but if you don’t mind just leave me alone right now.”
Lindsey closes the door and slides down head in her hands crying. Gavin goes to knock on the door but Barbra grabs his arm and stops him. They walk to the car and when inside Gavin violently and repeatedly bashes his hand against the window cursing everything yelling at the top of his lungs asking where is best friend disappeared to and why. Barbra just hangs her head down and quietly cries for her missing friend.
Gus is on the phone “no he doesn’t have any enemies….. He has curly hair, wears glasses and has a jersey style attitude…… No I won’t calm down, my friend and employee is missing and you haven’t done anything…. screw your search dogs and SCREW YOU.”
Gus throws his phone at the wall as ray walks in.
Gus sees ray standing by the door “Ray finally, did you get ahold of Burnie?”
“I called him 20 times and every time, He answered and he was talking like he was batman saying he’s looking for Michael.” He sees that Gus is burnt up about the situation and turns his concern to his well-being “Gus you should go home and get some rest. I’ll go help jack and geoff with fliers you go home and rest a bit”
Gus shoots a look at ray “What? No, I can’t. Every time I go home or call ester ask if we found him yet. I’m not going home until I know where Michael is.”
Ray sighs “Okay, where should we look next?”
Back in equestria Michael and equarion have been dueling for some time. Michael pins him against a bolder on the edge of the floor. Equarion shoves him to the ground and steps on him with his hoof. Michael notices the lasso still on his leg and comes up with a plan.
Equarion laughs “any last words?”
Michael kicks him to the ground gets up and hits the rock with the sword. He grabs the end of the lasso and hooks it in to the grove he made as fast as he can before equarion gets up. He turns to him and says
Michael looks Equarion in the eyes as he answers “Yea. Yippee kai-yay mother-fluffer”
He shoves the bolder over the edge and watches as equarion grinds his hooves across the ground and is swept over the edge with a loud roar of anger.
Barbra: Equarion? More like equari-gone
Micheal walks over yelling into the abyss “You fuck with a member of the AH Crew and you get FLUFFED UP!”
Down in the abyss where Michael had sent him a figure approaches the weaken villain.
The Figure looks upon him “You have failed me. Not only that but because of you he’s stronger than he was supposed to be.”
Equarion pleads “My lord pleases. I can still destroy him. The sword was a fluke of his favor, but yours is stronger.”
The figure looks at him and scoffs “very well, However if you fail me again. I’ll take away more than just your power.”
He raises his hand and Equarion is filled with new power and takes on a whole new twisted form. Michael walks toward the bridge opposite the way they came in with thoughts of his friends and Lindsey on his mind. He turns back and looks at the large room where he just battled Equarion and turns to leave when he notice something out the corner of his eye. At the other end of the cavern Equarion is climbing over the edge. He stands up and to Michaels shock has morphed into a human shaped form. His armor changed to match Michaels in a dark twisted version. He grips his horn with his hand and pulls it out as it shapes it’s self into a sword to rival his foes.
Equarion laughs echoing through-out the cave “Though me defeated that easy? Now we finish this.”
Michael grips his sword with both hand and starts to walk slowly as equarion does the same. Lindsey on earth looks up and as if they could fell each other at that moment Lindsey and Michael start to hum a familiar tune. A few seconds after Michael and equarion start sprinting at each other while he and Lindsey as if they know the other is doing the same……start singing
Michael & Lindsey: red like roses fills my head with dreams and finds me Always closer, to the emptiness’ and sadness That has come to take the place. Of. YOOOUUU!
Michael and equarion swing their blades with all their strength as they slide by each other and Michael spins around being faced with equarions back. Neither one moves for a moment then equarion turns swinging his sword toward Michael but is instead meet with his upper body falls to the ground with a thud. Michael had sliced him clean in two just below the sternum.
Equarion speaks to Michaels surprise “Hehahahaha! You think this will stop me? Unlike you, I can pull myself back toge-”
A green beam of light goes straight through equarions forehead and his body disappears in a burst of black smoke. Still stunned by what happen Michael barley notices the cavern has begun to quake. He starts to run to the bridge as the ground starts turn up and breaks away from the bridge. He falls and begins to slide down toward the bottom as the platform continues to fall.
“Well I’m dead.” He utters to himself
Just as he begins to reach the end of the slide he looks up one last time and sees the plane screaming by circling around so he can jump on. He takes a leap of faith toward the plane missing the door which burst open and a hoof smacks Michael’s hand. He grabs it and is pulled into the plane. To his surprise the one who pulled in was derpy.
Derpy holds up a muffin “muffin?”
Amelia calls out “HOLD ON! This place is coming down and so are we if I don’t have full concentration.”
Shakely Michael makes his way to the piolet chair “You got this?”
Amelia chuckles “Who are you talking too, of course I got this. Now every pony hold on this isn’t going to be easy.”
The entire cavern shakes as rocks, stalactites and chunks of the walls of the cavern dome fall. The plane makes lefts, rights, barrel rolls, axon rolls, dives and every other air maneuver as Amelia focuses all concentration on the tunnel hole near the top of the dome. A gigantic piece of the ceiling starts shaking and Amelia just stares at it with an intense look as if she we’re daring it to fall and cut of their only escape. The massive rock takes her challenge and starts’ falling as the plane keeps moving forward. It’s the point of no return Amelia is forced to play a game of chicken against an opponent that can’t lose. The plane flies onward under the massive falling rock as it rapidly approaches the small plane.
Michael looks to the piolt “Amelia?”
Amelia ignores him as to focus on her goal “Come on baby, come on. You can do it.”
The massive plummeting rock just barely misses the plane as it passes under it into the tunnel with literately no time left to spare. The wings grind against the walls as the plane speeds through the tunnel, sparks going off and a push of air increasing their speed until finally the plane burst out the other side into the open sky. Amelia goes crazy in her seat screaming and cheering, having her own personal party.
“YEA! That was the most incredible thing EVER. HIGH HOOF.” She asked
Drepy obliges and givers a high hoof
Michael gives a heavy sight of relief “I think it’s time we get the others and get off this island.”
Amelia lands the plane to pick up the others and after a short wait takes off again.
Amelia looks over her map and fule display “Well we got a decent ride so rest up every pony. Derpy you want to be my co-pilot?”
Derpy gave a beaming smile “Do I?!”
“Hey how did you get here?” Rainbow dash asked curiously
Derpy nervously rubed the back of her head “hehe. I was napping on a cloud near ponyville but when I woke up I was over that island. Then
I saw Ms. Earhart’s plane and thought I could help.”
Amelia added in “If not for derpy showing up I would have crashed for sure.”
Michael relaxed his head against the wall of the plane “that’s good. Well equarions gone. Equestria is safe. However I’m stuck here forever
and we still don’t know what happened to the ponies that lived on the island.”
Twilight gave a supportive grin “Well I’m sorry we couldn’t get you home. Celestia may know another way to send you back, but the island inhabitants as it turned out never disappeared, they moved. After we escaped the cavern we wound up in the ruins of one of the towns. Somehow a diary some filly kept survived all these years and pinkie found it. Listen to this.”

Dear diary
Tomorrow morning after breakfast every pony is getting on a huge ship and leaving the island. Mommy said it was too dangerous with all the rock slides and the avalanches. It’s not far; captain fill-trotter says it’s close but can take a few days to arrive. I got to see the ship and a map that showed where the new island was. Captain fill-trotter even drew a copy for me but I think it would be better to leave it with you diary. Then if any pony comes here they will know where to go to find us. Mommy said there was no time to wait for any pony to go main land and let any pony know. Goodbye diary and good luck.
Twilight closes the book “That’s about it.”
With that every pony quietly waits as Amelia and derpy navigate home.
                                                     (Later that night)
The whole town is celebrating the defeat of equarion. Michael sits alone at a table as the rest have the time of their lives.
“Guess I should get used to apple based products for the rest of my life or hay burgers.” Micheal quietly moans to himself sitting alone.
He looks up and watches as every pony enjoys their party. Across the way he notices someone standing with princess Celestia and Luna.
Michael jolts up “No fucking way. It’s another human!”
He jumps up out the seat and runs into the crowd. Ponies’ trotting by, balloons floating around and everything else gets in his way. He side stepped, twist and turns out of the way of each obstruction to reach the princesses and the human. He finally reaches them but the human is gone. The only ones there are Celestia, Luna and Amelia
Michael looks to the princesses “where is he? Where’s the human? I saw him.”
Celestia looks at him “I’m sorry but he is extremely busy at the moment. I offered him a chance to stay a bit but he was too preoccupied with his current task.”
“You know for a multi-dimensional /time traveler he doesn’t seem to have much time to get things done.” Luna commented
Princess celestia replied “well with the current situation as he described I’m not surprised. I am however grateful he was able to find the time to stop by for this brief moment. You should be as well Michael.”
Celestai levitates a small circular object toward him.
Celestai smiled “our friend stopped briefly to give this to you. It’s supposed to be able to send you home. I was told that it’s already programed with the correct location for your return. Simply press this button and you’ll go home. However it’s a one way trip. For the issue of safety and security just after you arrive back it’ll automatically fry it’s systems beyond repair.”
Michael took the device with slight concern. “So I can go home? What you say Amelia, ready to go back to our world.”
Amelia looked away sighing “Actually I’ve decided to stay here, especially if everything you said earlier was true. I’d rather not have to readjust to a new way of life a second time, besides the princess has commission me to search the nearby islands for the missing colony. You though, you have a reason to go back.”
Michael gives her a grin and a nod “well I guess this is goodbye. Good luck in your search.”
Amelia nods back “You too.”
Celestia clears her throat gaining their attention “Michael, you not leaving without saying goodbye to your new friends first are you?”
Luna walks up behind Michael with twilight and the others beside her.
Michael sighs “No, I’d never do that to my friends.”
Rarity goes first “well I’ll say this has definitely been an experience. I just wish I had been able to do something about that dull looking jacket first. All-well, Good luck darling”
Michael gives slight dull look. “thanks?” he replies
Fluffershy walks up next “goodbye Michael and thanks for your help with the birds, Equarion, and saving ponyville”
Michael grins “Your welcome and I’ll miss you too.”
Applejack walks up next to them “Now you be careful getting home sugar cube. Also the next time ya’ll come visit bring your friends with ya’ kay.”
“Will do aj, will do.” Michael answers
Rainbow dash darts over in between them “aj’s right, don’t be a stranger pal.”
Michael punches rainbow in the shoulder in a friendly gesture “You kidding, next time I’m here I’m taking you up on that race.”
Pinkie pie starts crying, her tears like waterfalls as she wheals.
Michael rolls his eye “Oh, pinkie we’ll see each other again and in the meantime keep the laptop. That way all of you can watch our videos.”
Pinkie stops crying and gives a somewhat sad goodbye smile.
Twilight rubs the back of her neck “I got to say, you humans are something else and well it’s sad we got to say goodbye.”
Michael shrugs “For now.”
Celestia bows to the human “Michael. Before you go I want to give you something.”
Two guards carry a long box over and set it in front of him. He opens it and inside is the sword of unicornica resting within a sheath.
“I believe that the sword would be better off with you than sitting in a glass case in a museum. Take it as a sign of gratitude from all of us here in ponyville and equestria alike.” Celestia explains
With that Michael presses the button on the return device which opens another portal. He waves goodbye one last time and steps through. Every pony watches as the portal closes behind him.
Twilight look to her princess “we’re never going to see him again, are we?”
Celestia looks toward the stars “hmm. I wouldn’t be so sure about that if I were you.”
                                                 [Back on earth]
Everyone is gathered at the office. Lindsey and Barbra walk in, everyone’s sitting at a table with a depressed mood hovering over the air of their thought and faces.
Burnie stands up with a huff “I’m really sorry to have to do this, but I gathered everyone here because” he pauses for a moment “because we need to start talking reality. Now Michael has been missing for nine days. So we-“
“So, we what?” Michael asked walking into the room
Everyone looks over and is over joyed sees Michael. Lindsey still sitting in her chair slowly gets up with her hands firmly on the table. She turns and walks over to Michael. She looks him right in the eye with tears swelling up in her puffy eyes. Her face goes from sad to furious and she slaps him across the face then hugs him sobbing. Michael hugs her back.
Michael looks up at the others “I’m sorry! You guys too. I know how much this stressed you out.”
“It’s good to have you back mate.” Gavin looks at the large sword on his back “Hey where’d you get that sword?”
Michael looks at hilt peering over his shoulder “This? Something I picked up on my little adventure.”
