Everyone you know has almost the exact same routine. Except there’s one big difference, you’re a brony. You read fanfics when bored, you look up fan art and comics to pass the time, and your mp3, is filled with the songs from the show. You wouldn’t consider yourself a crazy fan, but like many others, you would jump at any opportunity to go the Equestria to see the loveable ponies in person. It’s a thought that crosses your mind many nights before you fall asleep to one of your favorite songs, Winter Wrap-Up, but something you could dream of, was about to happen to you… _____________________________________________________________________________ As you come to you hear the oh so familiar tune of Winter Wrap-Up, slightly laughing to yourself that you managed to wake up on the same song you fell asleep too, but something’s not right. Its late spring, and the temperatures have been fairly high as of late, but you can feel a distinct chill. You pass it off as it simply being a colder morning, and try to doze back off… “Hey! What are you doing down there, you’re supposed to be helping!” That voice, it sounds familiar, but you can’t exactly place it. Then you feel as though someone has landed next to you. Wait, landed! You open your eyes just in time to see a cyan hoof find it’s place above your face, and your first reaction is to brace yourself. Yet, something feels different, normally when you brace yourself you feel your fist clench, yet this time nothing, not to mention the fact that a hoof is above your head! Of course you have no time to think clearly about it, as the hoof strikes you right on the forehead a few times, almost as if someone was knocking on a door. “What are you sleeping for you’re supposed to be helping the…” You hear the voice trail off, not caring to figure out why before getting to your feet. As you go to get up you finally catch on, as to why there’s a chill in the air, and why there was a hoof knocking you on the head a moment ago. “HOLY S**T! I’M A F**KING PONY!” you yell in your head, thankfully managing to not say it out loud, and therefore not scaring the kind woman, or mare to be correct, that was kind enough to bring you to this realization. Then you notice something else, a slight tug on your back, and a quick check confirms your suspicion, you’re not only a pony, but a Pegasus! Of course you would attempt to float yourself into an upright position, but as you’ve got no idea whatsoever of how wings work, you manage to get lift off, and you start flying… Straight into a nearby tree. As you recover from the hit, you hear somewhat cheerful laughter coming from around where you were a few seconds ago, which of course makes you remember one important fact. The first mare you’ll ever meet was standing there, and saw the whole thing. Before you can start kicking yourself you see the same hoof in front of you, hopefully not to hit you again, so you reach you hand, or rather hoof, towards it. Thankfully your assumption was correct, and the hoof was just there to pick you up. As you get up to see who it was that had been kind enough to still help you after you embarrassed yourself, you immediately regret ever wishing to become a pony. The kind mare who had woken you up, and helped you up, was none other than Rainbow Dash. Short chapter, but need to get the idea going in my head. If the story gets popular I'll make a note to write longer chapters Chapter 2: The HospitalChapter 2: The Hospital As you attempt to figure out how to free yourself from the embarrassing position you got yourself stuck in, you hear a little giggle coming from Rainbow Dash. "How did you manage to do that, were you still asleep or something?!" Hearing that causes you to feel some warmth in your cheeks, and you physical cower away, hoping to make yourself small enough that Rainbow will forgot about you and move on, but fate has a way of screwing with you. "So I take it you're not from around here, it's painfully obvious, seeing as you aren't wearing a vest like everyone else" Rainbow decides to finally say, after realizing she just laughed at you, "Sorry for startling you, I thought you were on the weather team, and since we're down a few ponies, we need everyone working their hardest!" It was then you finally notice the light blue vest she was wearing, and the leg band, you assume that means captain, or something like it. After a few more minutes you finally got the courage to ask, "Are you really Rainbow Dash?" "Am I Rainbow Dash! Duh, of course, couldn't you tell by my rainbow mane!" Rainbow managed to say, making the most serious face she could, in a feeble attempt to hide her blush at the fact you knew her name beforehand. Being an average guy, you would never notice it, and it didn't help that you now felt even more embarrassed at your little accident now knowing that the self proclaimed, best flyer in all of Equestria, happened to be the one who saw it, which caused you to look down in a extremely pitiful manor. "Oh, sorry, I guess hearing that you knew me made me get a little excited" She said after noticing your pitiful look, "So, how did you know my name?" At that moment you completely froze, both figuratively, and literally, as it happens a certain grey Pegasus had managed to cover you in snow. Luckily that gave you time to think, and possibly a mild case of hypothermia, but you were content knowing that you could create a lie before you passed out due to the cold. _____________________________________________________________________________ You come to with the smell of muffins, possibly blueberry, and the smell you can place fairly well, even being in another world. You're in a hospital, but who carried you here? From what you gathered all the Pegesi were busy trying to finish their part of Winter Wrap-Up, unless they got an earth pony to carry you all the way here, or a unicorn to teleport you to the... Your thoughts are brought to a sudden stop when you feel something move on your stomach. "What was that?" you think to yourself, almost afraid that maybe your in a human hospital, and you actually just had an accident. Either way your eyes are hurting, and you are dying to eat the muffin that you know is on the table next to you, so you open your eyes. What you find laying on you nearly makes the muffin seem as important as a penny when compared to a 100$ bill. Rainbow Dash, the Rainbow Dash, is laying on you, seemingly fast asleep. You mind races for a few seconds, then comes up with a conclusion that you believe makes the most sense. She was afraid that you could have died under her watch, and was just there to make sure you were okay. You then think that the only reason that you didn't go for the she has a crush on you route was because you knew nobody, not even a colorful cartoon pony, could go head-over-heels after seeing how you embarrassed yourself. It also helps that you never felt any strong connection to any of the mane 6, or at least, none more than the others. A quick look around the room revealed to you that it was around seven in the morning, meaning she probably just fell asleep, and happened to fall forward onto you, or you hope so. As you run though ever possible reason as to why she is laying on you, the door opens, and an orange earth pony trots in to your room. "Ah, hello there, mister, uh..." The pony you quickly recognize as Applejack mutters as she sees you have no name on your charts, "I'm here to pick my troublesome friend of mine, she said she was only stayin' for a few hours, but it looks like she stayed the night." You hear what sounds like annoyance in her voice, but say nothing in return. After quite a few attempts to wake Rainbow up, Applejack decides to turn to you. Having engulfed the muffin that was left, hopefully for you and not Rainbow, you're more than happy to talk to anyone. "So, from what she told me" Applejack says, making a slight motion towards the Pegasus on your lap, "You're not from these parts, and are extremely clumsy, and she mentioned that you were actin' a bit sheepish when she was talkin' to ya." First thing you think of is how embarrassing you acted, secondly, how could you explain that you're from somewhere called Earth, and your first time being a pony was when Rainbow woke you up? Thankfully Rainbow managed to wake up, apparently hearing Applejack's voice, and maybe even your own stomach before you could eat that muffin, she slowly gets up, to about a few inches on your lap, then bolts upright, face almost as red as the Apples in Applejack's cutie mark. "I WASN'T SLEEPING ON YOU ON PURPOSE!" was all Rainbow managed to say before turning away to hide her face. The sudden outburst cause both you and Applejack to laugh harder than you though you ever would. After composing herself, Rainbow turned to you and said, "I was only here because one of the Pegasus under my command got you in this mess. I see you already ate the apology muffin that Ditzy had made for you, she was really devastated when she found out she could have really hurt you." Hearing that, and thinking of what you imagine Ditzy being like, made you feel a little bad, since you were the one who propelled themselves into the tree in the first place. _____________________________________________________________________________ After a few more minutes of talking the girls prepared to leave, but something clicked in your head, luckily before AJ had managed to get out the door. "If it isn't too much, could you ask Twilight Sparkle to come see me, I need to talk to her" you ask, hoping that one of them had heard you. "Sure thing, I'll see if she can come down tomorrow, now get some rest, or Rainbow's gonna be worried sick" says an almost laughing Applejack. Well, at least you can trust her to actually ask Twilight, because you have a feeling that talking to her might put you in contact with the only pony who might know what's going on. Princess Celestia. Chapter 3: The Muffin MareChapter 3: The Muffin Mare Thankfully the orange colored apple farmer held up her promise like you hoped she would, and the next morning you saw a purple Unicorn in your room, with her always helpful assistant at her side. "So, Applejack said that there was something you needed me for?" Twilight said the second she had found a comfortable place to sit. Luckily you had spent more of the night thinking about what to say, and hoping that she wouldn't brush you off as a mad-stallion, you bring yourself to say it. "I'm not from here, or even from this world, I went to bed one night, and woke up here, in the middle of Winter Wrap-Up, as a Pegasus, and I think the only pony who knows how to fix this, is the Princess," you take a deep breath, "since she is all powerful and may have run into this before during here long reign as the ruler of Equestria." Surprisingly, Twilight had stayed calm throughout the whole thing, which couldn't be said for Spike, who had decided to help himself to the muffins Ditsy brought you the night before. He his hand had stopped midway from the plate and his mouth, with more than one muffin in it's grasp. "Uh, Twi, I think this guy's insane, because there's noway he could be from another planet, and still be a perfectly normal pony." was all Spike could say, looking like he was about the call the mental ward and say they let a patient out at some point. Twilight, apparently unfazed by his outburst, simply asked him to write a letter to Princess Celestia, requesting her help in a very unusual issue. ________________________________________________________________________________ After about an hour or so of talking with Twilight about random things, ranging from magic, to science, to facts about Earth, Celestia appeared, as if on cue, as you were just about to eat the last muffin. "My dearest student, what is it that has made you ask for my interference, as I know you can usually handle these incidents on your own" says Celestia in her calm, yet commanding voice, which almost makes you want to bow down before her. Then she notices you, and since you have absolutely no idea what to do, you offer up the muffin, which she gladly takes. While Celestia elegantly eats the muffin, you relay your story to her, much calmer than you had when you had told it to Twilight, and at then end, you got the worst news of your life. "I have no idea what would have cause this to happen, my child, but I can offer you residence in my kingdom until we can figure out what has happened." she says as she quickly finishes off what little was left of the muffin, "If it is any consolation, I'm sure Twilight would be happy to help you get used to life around Ponyville." You immediately regretted eating 3 muffins before she had shown up, because the sudden news that you were now going to be forced to live in Equestria causes you to vomit. Thankfully Twilight had caught on to what was happening and was now levitating a trash can in front of your face. _____________________________________________________________________________ Later that afternoon the medical staff deemed you healthy enough to leave, and as you trotted away, you saw a familiar grey Pegasus flying towards you, so you called out to her, "Ditzy, it's me, the guy you were bringing muffins for! I was just let out, thanks for the muffins, they were delicious!" Thankfully you caught her attention, and she glided down to you, with a very sad look on her face. "I'm so sorry, I just didn't see you under that tree, and when Rainbow said that you could get very, very sick, I was so worried that I thought that if I made you muffins they would help you, since it was all my-" was all Ditzy was allowed to blurt out before a hoof to her mouth, your hoof, made her calm down. Seeing that she was still a bit shaken up, and not knowing what to say, you foolishly decided to give her a hug, which even surprised you a little. "Oh, uh..." Ditzy said as you let her go, "Thanks for not being mad at me. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to stay at my house? Rainbow said you're not from here, so if you don't have anywhere to go..." That was all Ditzy had managed to say before realizing what she was saying, and promptly blushing. Knowing that Twilight wouldn't know that you'd been released, you decided to go with Ditzy to her home, and spend the night. _____________________________________________________________________________ After learning that Ditzy is not only cute, but single, something you note in the back of your mind, you find that she actually does fairly well for herself, despite only being a mailmare, You guessed that with no fillies to take care of she has a lot of extra income, but you decide not to ask, just so you don't run the risk of stepping on any landmines hidden in her past. By the time you and Ditzy made it too her place it was already late evening, and so she decided to make some dinner for the two of you. Unsurprisingly it was muffins, but not the same as the ones you had at the hospital, something she apparently noticed when she gave you your plate. "These are blueberry muffins, I only make them for special occasions, which don't happen very often, which is why I'm so happy that you're okay!" she explains, "Since you're the first pony I've ever hurt that has wanted to talk to me again, other than Rainbow, and you're also the first stallion I've ever invited into my house!" That last thing makes you blush a little bit, as it almost makes it sound like you two were dating, or that there would be something else happening later on. Of course you wouldn't be able to do it, still having the mindset of a human, but you entertain the idea of possibly finding love in Ponyville, maybe even in this slightly off Pegasus. Almost as if on cue, you feel something lean on you, from the same side Ditzy had been on before her slightly flirtatious comment. Then you hear her say, "Oh, can you call me Derpy if you want to, only my closet friends can call me that." Then you realize what was leaning on you, her. You've heard the saying "When in Rome", but this is pushing it, even for a brony. The you get the worst idea ever, of all a time. It won't be that bad to sleep with her like this No the story isn't getting into a sexual zone, just Ditzy/Derpy being her usual silly self (But remember, this does have a romance tag!) Chapter 4: ConfusionChapter 4: Confusion You wake up the next morning to a surprising sight, not unwelcome, but surprising. A sleeping Ditzy, sprawled out on your lap, a fact that made you more than a little self conscious, realizing that this is one of the few times a female your own age has ever done this, and the fact that she's a pony doesn't help. Your attempts to get up are met with a tough resistance, as she swats you back down or moves closer to you in what looks like an attempt at a hug. Thankfully she wakes up when one of her hug attempts was aimed the wrong direction, and ended up sending her to the floor. As she got to her hoofs she was able to make out what had happened, guessing by how red your face was. "Oh I'm so sorry, did I do something I wasn't supposed to, I didn't mean it, it just happens every once and a while with me, I just do things without noticing, and-". Yet again you had to hush her, mainly out of the dear that she might start hyperventilating with how fast she was talking. A quick glance at the clock on her wall changed her attitude in an instant, as she now knows she was late for work, and still had to go have a shower. After showing you to her fridge, which was unsurprisingly filled with muffins of all shapes and sizes, she dashed of too what you guessed was the bathroom. A few minutes passed with nothing really happening, other than the occasional noise from the bathroom, until someone knocked on the door. Unsure of who it might be, you decided to go and answer it, and tell them Ditzy was busy having a shower, but what you saw instead was something you would have never expected. It was Rainbow, here at Ditzy's with a note, and what looked like a box of blueberry muffins. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be getting better at the hospital! And where's Derpy?!". That wasn't what you were thinking would happen when you opened the door, but at least it was a "friendly" face, but that could be debated. Before Rainbow can continue her interrogation Ditzy waltz out of the bathroom, not wearing a towel. Rainbow almost immediately tried to cover your eyes, nearly poking them out in the process, and all she could manage to say was 'DERPY! PUT A TOWEL ON!" Of course the grey Pegasus didn't see the issue, but didn't want to fight either, so she did as Rainbow asked. Sadly for you, what the fandom guessed at, about ponies looking more suggestive the more they put on, was true. Luckily you had time to say something about going to Twilight's before you got what was dubbed a "wing boner", as you now being a pony, meant that the stimulus would act the same as if Ditzy had been a human female in the same situation. ________________________________________________________________________________ As lucky as you were, part of you wanted to figure out why Rainbow as there with muffins and a note, and something nagged in the back of your mind, partly trying to make you remember they are ponies, and that you may be leaving Equestria soon. The other part was suggesting that the fanon was right, and Rainbow was into mares, something that made you feel something you could only describe as fear, but you couldn't figure out why. Before you could come up with a reason that you were okay with, you heard some loud galloping coming from the right of you. Unlucky for you, or lucky, depending on how you want to view it, the galloping was Applejack coming to open up the morning stall, but her speed made you hazard a guess that she was running late. You decided to attempt flight once more, hoping that maybe being in this body for a few days has given you the knowledge of flight. Thankfully you were right, as you got up into the air rather easy, but only one thing was wrong, you didn't know how to move while in the air. Then you thought of riding a bike, you have to lean to turn, so maybe that would apply here too, and your luck payed off again, as you slowly figured out the mechanics of flight. Just as you figured out every last detail of basic flight, you saw an orange blur pass you, and you decided against all reason, to try and catch up. To say that it was easy was an overstatement, you've never worked that hard before in your life, but when you caught up, you got to learn exactly where the Apple family's stall was. Sadly the first thing to learn this, was your face. "You all right there sugarcube?" Thankfully it looks like Applejack didn't mind that you had just toppled the stand and possibly broken the sign, but was more concerned that you might have to be carried back to the hospital. "I'm fine, I think, although it does feel like someone hit me in the head with a shovel" you manage to groan while massaging your now aching head. This managed to get Applejack to laugh, either at the stupidity of what you just said, or at you in general, it was all the same to you. "Well sorry dear, but that shovel you mentioned, was just my apple stall, and if you don't mind, could you help me set it back up?" "Sure, on one condition though, you let me fix anything I broke, and work off anything I might have cost you." Of course Applejack was a bit more worried that you might have hurt yourself than she was about any amount of bits she might have lost, but with a quick nod, you and her got to work. ________________________________________________________________________________ After three hours of selling apples to what seemed like half of Ponyville, a orange hoof was all you needed to let you know it was break time. Just as you were going to ask what else you could help her with, a big red stallion, that you recognize as Big Mac, showed up, with what looked like a disappointed frown on his face. "Sis, what is this guy doing here? Why are you making him work the stall while you talk with friends?" That brought up a good point, ever since you got the hang of things, it seemed as though Applejack had disappeared, nowhere to be seen, certainly not with you at the stall. Just as Applejack went to speak up, you said something that caught both her and Big Mac off guard, "I wanted to help, seeing as I had crashed into the stall this morning, that and it didn't seem fair to have her working all by herself." With a look of bewilderment from Big Mac, and a blush from Applejack, you suddenly felt a strong red foreleg wrap around your neck. "You hittin' on my sis or something. Cus if you are, I'm tellin' ya, you're gonna have to go through me first." This brought something to your attention. Why were you helping her for the entire morning, you only hit your head, and the sign was sturdy enough to stay together even if Big Mac had been the one to run into it, so why did you do all this work? Was it out of kindness, or was there something you didn't even know of making you do it? Before you could say anything two forelegs were wrapped around you, both to your surprise, and what was going to be your worst nightmare. Applejack had hugged you, maybe even nuzzled your neck, but before you could figure out what was going on, a big red hoof hit you in the back of the head. Chapter 5: Muffins, Apples, and RainbowsChapter 5: Muffins, Apples, and Rainbows You wake up to a familiar smell. The smell of muffins, but this time you smell something sweeter, possibly apples? Maybe Applejack and Ditzy worked on the muffins together this time, since it was because of Big Mac that you're now sitting in a hospital bed again. Opening your eyes brought you a sight almost as strange as when Rainbow had been sleeping on your lap. Sitting in a chair in the corner was Ditzy, but laying next to you, was Applejack. At this sight you mind froze and your heart skipped a beat. What is she doing in my bed, why is she tucked up next to me, how am I still alive with her in this position? As you try to make sense of this predicament you notice a sleeping Rainbow Dash on a could just outside your window. Why are they here, was I in that bad of a condition? A stir at your side thankfully meant you would get some answers. As she sat up you noticed her hair wasn't tied up like normal, and her hat was missing as well. "Mornin' sleepy head, you feelin' any better?" Her nonchalant way of talking in this situation unnerves you, but all you could mutter out was a sound of confusion. Then as if she finally saw something wrong she jumped up and somehow managed to quietly land on the tiled floor. "I'm sorry, it's just that it was cold last night, and as the other two had ways of staying warm, I thought that doing that would keep me warm enough to sleep" It was then you noticed the grey blanket laying across Ditzy, and remembered that the clouds somehow kept Rainbow at the right temperature. As you moved you head to say that it was fine, you saw something drift down to the floor. It was Applejack's trademark stetson, but what was it doing on your head? "Ah, I'm sorry, I put that on you because you were sleeping upright and there was no room on the table, that and I thought it would look good on you." Applejack sounded very coy when she said it, but you believed her, she was the embodiment of honesty after all. "Thanks, how did I look?" you politely asked, being genuinely curious. "Pretty good, I might even say that you looked fairly handsome," she responded with a grin and a blush, "that and it helped to hide the bandages." With that she winked at you, but her smile quickly became a worried face. Your bandage was starting to get very red, most likely because the shock of seeing her laying next to you had cause your blood pressure to rise ever so slightly. "Ah, here let me get that, it's the least I can do" she said as she grabbed some bandages and hopped onto your lap... Which put you in a very awkward position, as her hips were just above yours, and the way she was moving looked very suggestive, no matter how you looked at it. It seems like the world is trying to kill you, as at that moment, Big Mac made his way into the room, most likely to grab AJ for work. "APPLEJACK GET OFF OF HIM RIGHT NOW! DIDN'T GRANNY RAISE YOU TO ACT BETTER THAN THIS!" yelled Big Mac, probably loud enough that Celestia would be able to hear it, which also meant the two other mares that had come to check on you, were about wake up. Now you knew the world was trying to kill you as in a matter of seconds both Big Mac and Rainbow Dash were at your bedside ready to beat you into a bloody pulp. Luckily for you a certain purple Unicorn walked into the room, and used her magic to get the two angry ponies off of you before they got a chance to hit you. "What is going on in here! Why are you two trying to kill this poor pony?!" Twilight remarked, seeming almost afraid of what would cause Big Mac to get this riled up. "My sister was riding him like there was no tomorrow! I have no doubt in my mind that is was his doing, probably tricking her into it!" You never expected Big Mac to get this angry, but sadly you had no way to defend yourself, as you have suddenly lost the ability to talk all together. Thankfully Twilight was observant enough to notice that the covers on your bed would have prevented anything from happening, and that there was a half done bandage job on your head. "Guys, she was changing his bandages, nothing more, she was moving like that so she could reach around his head without hurting him." How Twilight said that as if she was talking normally, is beyond you, but in your current state, the only thanks you could offer was a deep nod. While Big Mac and Rainbow got a talking too, Ditzy decided to come over and finish the job Applejack had started, even adding in a little peck on the lips that caught you completely off guard. "What was that for Ditzy?" you somehow managed to mutter that out. "Well, it's a thanks for being okay, I was really worried you wouldn't wake up, and remember, you can call me Derpy!" she answered, ending with another peck on the lips. By now your brain has almost stopped functioning, you just kissed a pony, twice, and it felt normal, like there was nothing wrong with it, but you're a human, and where you're from ponies are animals, things people use for fun, not things to fall in love with! Before you even knew it yourself, you bolted out of the room through the open window, and just flew, faster than you ever thought you could. You needed to figure out what in all sweet hell was going on, and being there wasn't helping! Remember, you still have the mindset of a human at this time, and all this thought of relationships with ponies is causing you to act irrationally Chapter 6: Revelations and DecisionsChapter 6: Revelations and Decisions As you flew away from the hospital to felt as though something was drawing your mind away from you, almost as if something was trying to take control of you. At first you just thought it was the head injury, but then you began to feel almost human again. As soon as you got over a clearing you fainted, left to plummet down to the ground. ________________________________________________________________________________ Wake up "What the? Where am I?" You've woken up in a strange room, seemingly pure white, with one thing standing out to you. A dark grey shadow, that looks somewhat like you did when you were a pony. Are you finally awake? Where is that voice coming from, it sounds almost like... Yourself? Yes, I am you, you are me Now this is starting to freak you out, a voice claiming to be you, is talking to you. Then it clicks. The voice is coming from the shadow pony standing in front of you Well, now that we have that covered, time to make your choice Choice? What choice? Never before did anyone mention a choice about anything! Ah, yes, I forgot you have no idea what is going on. Want the short version, or the long version? You ask for the short version, as you have a feeling the long version wouldn't make very much sense, if any at all Well, basically, I'm you're subconscious and I brought you here to Equestria because you wished for it You never though of it that way, but now that you are hearing it, you realize that you did want to come here in the first place, just like every other brony, but how did you actually get here? Simple, you have ceased to exist in the other world, except for me, right now I am controlling your human body's actions, and you are living through the pony body Now that that's out of the way, what was this choice he, you, mentioned? Ah, thanks for reminding me! Simply put, you have to choose between staying as a pony, or going back to being a human As you said that two portals, or at least, what you though were portals, opened to show your human self, and your pony self. The human one was sleeping like it has every night, but the pony one is surrounded by 4 concerned mares, and one scared colt. As you can see there are many differences between the two, but what will you choose? You think of what would happen in the human world... You would go on living through your life, finding love, going to school, growing old, and eventually dying That didn't sound all too good for you, there was no hope of random fun things happening to you there... You say that now, but if you go back to the pony world, you will be forced to choose between 3 of the mares that are currently crying over your limp body This causes your heart to drop. Then you look and see that Ditzy, Applejack, and Rainbow are all huddled over your body, trying to find any sign of life left in it. Then you feel a sudden warmth come over your body... You have decided... ________________________________________________________________________________ Suddenly you open your eyes to find 3 mares with looks of surprise and sadness staring you down. Almost as if one cue all 3 of them jump onto you in a deep hug, nearly crushing your ribs due to the sudden compression. After what feels like hours they let go, and you all stand. The Big Mac comes over to you and with a hoof on your shoulder he whispers, "If you want my sister, ya better tell her now, and don't break 'er heart, or else." With a quick though about Ditzy, Applejack, and Rainbow, you prepare to make your choice, but one thing needs to be asked. "Do all 3 of you like me?" This obviously catches them all off guard, but they smile back anyways. "Yeah, you're like a big muffin" says Ditzy "Ya, you're a sweet colt, and hard workin' too" says Applejack "I guess, maybe it's because you don't go down easy, or well, I don't know!" says Rainbow Dash Then you hear in your head... Time to choose Go to chapter 7 for Applejack Go to chapter 8 for Ditzy/Derpy Go to chapter 9 for Rainbow Dash Chapter 7: ApplejackYou Have Chosen Applejack With all 3 mares staring you down, you finally manage to say, "I love Applejack." As expected the other 2 mares looked extremely disappointed, so your first instinct is to apologize, but you have no idea what to say. Yet, as you see Applejack come over to you can wrap her forelegs around your neck, and as she lays a big kiss on your lips, it comes to you. "Rainbow, Ditzy, I'm so sorry, it's just that Applejack is the kind of mare I want. She's kind, caring, hardworking, and always there when you need her. She knows the importance of family, something I can tell just by looking at how angry Big Mac had been." After a few minutes the two mares calmed down, and came up to talk to you and Applejack. "AJ, I'm so happy that you finally found a special somepony, I know I was sad just now, but knowing that the two of you will be happy is awesome enough for me to forgive and forget. Just remember, I'm doing a Sonic Rainboom at the wedding" Rainbow said with a wink. Then Ditzy came up, "I understand why you'd like Applejack more than me, since all I eat is muffins and I'm a little strange, but hopefully you and her can one day make little apple muffins together!" Both you and Applejack are thrown off by that last thing, but quickly recover in time to hear Ditzy shout, "And you can call me Derpy!" Now to the next order of business, what to do about you, now that Equestria is your home. Thankfully Twilight had stuck around, and somehow had a plan already set up since she guessed it may take forever for anyone to figure out how you got here in the first place. Twilight promises that she can easily get you integrated into Ponyville, and Applejack suggests living on the farm with her and her family, that way they get to be comfortable around each other. With a final farewell to Twilight, you and Applejack trot off towards Sweet Apple Acres, your new home... ________________________________________________________________________________ It's been nearly 2 years since you showed up. With you and Applejack being an item, Pinkie decided to throw a massive party that got you acquainted with everyone in Ponyville. You've also got a good friendship with the rest of the Apple family, especially Applebloom and the rest of the CMC, since you have a blank flank like them, but that's because you're human in origin, or so you think. Through Applebloom you've become good friends with Cheerile, the local teacher, and have yourself, in a way, become a secondary teacher, using what knowledge you could remember from Earth to educate the young fillies of Ponyville. You being so close to Applebloom has obviously made Applejack very happy, but in the two years you have been together, she has only one complaint. You've never kissed, except for the first time you said you loved her, and it's mainly your fault, as you are still trying to accept the fact that she's a pony, but then again, so are you! ________________________________________________________________________________ 3 more years have passed, and now you are sitting with Applejack, watching Rainbow Dash perform a fabled Sonic Rainboom over the heads of your friends and family. Rainbow did say she would do one at the wedding, and she held up to her end of the deal, as did you. Earlier that day you and Applejack tied the knot, and officially became colt and mare. As the ceremony wound down you both notice something that has shown up during the wedding. Your cutie mark, it's of an apple, of course, as now you and Big Mac spend most of the day bucking apples and Applejack and Applebloom sell them at the stall. Thanks to that you've grown quite a bit, almost exactly to the same size as Big Mac, yet you still look like a Pegasus. Rainbow says your a waste of talent, but AJ always says your the best apple bucking Pegasus ever, probably because you had something, or rather somepony, to work for. This is the more conservative ending, compared to the other two, can anyone guess why that is? Chapter 8: Ditzy/DerpyYou Have Chosen Derpy! While the 3 mares stared you down hoping for answers, you simply said, "I love Ditzy, I want her to be my muffin" While the whole muffin thing was cheesy, made even more obvious my Rainbow making a fake gagging noise, it seems that Ditzy took those words to heart. "Thank you muffin, and, you can call me Derpy, especially since we're dating now!" Where Ditzy, or rather, Derpy, gets all her energy from, you haven't a clue, but now you know that she will share this energy with you, either in muffins or in love. The muffins idea sounds good, as your stomach rumbles due to you having been out for around a day, and talking about delicious muffins doesn't really help. Thankfully the other two aren't as sad as you thought they would be, probably because they know you'll be good to Derpy, or they just wanted you to be happy, who cares? You're hungry, and all you can think about is muffins! After managing to talk the group, Twilight included seeing as she stayed unlike Big Mac, into going to Sugar Cube Corner for some treats the rest of the day was fairly uneventful. Luckily it seems that the bakery was under a bit of stress due to someone in Canterlot ordering 5 baker's dozens of cupcakes, probably for a high class party or something, so Pinkie's usual welcome party was put on hold, and instead she decided to make everyone a special muffin. After about 5 minutes of waiting everyone had a different muffin in front of them. Berry for Twilight, apple for Applejack, wild berry for Rainbow, blueberry for Derpy, and chocolate for you. Remembering that chocolate is poisonous to some animals back on Earth, you ask Twilight if chocolate is safe to eat, and luckily it is, otherwise you'd feel bad not being able to explain why you didn't eat the muffin she made you. It was then that Derpy decided to give you a pet name of your own, "Chocolate Muffin!" she decided to yell for some reason. She explained it as since you were her muffin, and you were chocolate toned, you were a chocolate muffin. Makes sense, but she still just calls you muffin anyways. _____________________________________________________________________________ It's been just over a year since you came to Equestria, and thanks to Pinkie throwing a "Welcome/Happy Relationship/Big Order is Done!" party, you met many of the ponies that live in or near Ponyville. Along with that you found out that being with Derpy felt almost like you were still on Earth, as she had a personality that just made you feel at home, and so the relationship was growing fast, with a certain fashion pony spreading rumors about marriage. After being with Derpy for so long, it's not something you haven't considered, but with you not having a stable income, being the town handyman isn't so secure, and you're not sure if Derpy is ready. Actually, you're not sure if Derpy is anything. She's still a little bit mysterious to you, but other than that you know almost everything about each other, though she doesn't understand the whole Earth thing. _____________________________________________________________________________ 6 months have passed, and now the rumors of marriage have been put to rest, as you and Derpy actually did get married, and under Celestia too! You don't have any clue how Twilight did it, but she did, and it was the most amazing thing ever, Rainbow even doing a Sonic Rainboom to celebrate. Right now Derpy is pregnant with a foal, apparently a Unicorn, if you can trust Twilight's magical ability, which you obviously do, it's her talent after all! When the news hit town everyone seemed to freeze, but then all eyes turned to you, something they've only done twice in the whole time you've been there. Knowing that Derpy wouldn't be able to do her mail job, you opted to open a handyman business, which has done fairly well, and your cutie mark revealed itself to be a swiss army knife, probably because you could do almost everything the ponies in town could ask of you, even at one time helping give birth to a foal due to the hospital being worked on and therefore not open. So much has happened and you just can't believe it, but in the end you love every minute of it. _____________________________________________________________________________ 5 years later. Now that your young filly is old enough for school Derpy is thinking about returning to being a mailmare, something you said she doesn't have to do anymore, as your business has become successful, even one time going up to the castle to repair an old rafter in the throne room. You decided to go along with the fanon that you could remember and named the filly Dinky, it also helps that she got her mother's personality and basic appearance. Although, you do like to laugh to yourself, as your appearance closely resembles "Doctor Whooves" the fan character who was supposedly a time pony, that everyone always paired with Derpy. Now you're walking with Dinky and Derpy to the local school house, but something unexpected happens. Celestia herself comes down and stops right before you, with what looks to be an egg. Remembering the story of how Twilight got Spike your heart skips a beat, almost afraid that this could mean your daughter is going to be taken away to study magic. Just as Celestia hoped, Dinky was able to hatch the egg perfectly, revealing and grey and brown baby dragon. While Derpy and Dinky played with the new baby Celestia pulls you aside. "I remembered the story you told me when you came to fix the palace, of how your daughter seemed to have great magical abilities, as she had been able to lift you off the ground and turn a napkin into a muffin" whispered Celestia, "but don't worry, she'll stay here in Ponyville, I'll have Twilight teach her all there is to know about magic." With that weight on your shoulders is gone, and you turn back to your family. This is the perfect life, and it can't get any better than this, you think to yourself as you watch Dinky throw muffins at the baby dragon while Derpy cheers her on. This one goes a lot faster compared to Applejack, but that's because Derpy is just so loveable! Chapter 9: Rainbow DashYou Have Chosen Rainbow Dash With the 3 mares looking at your every move, you decided to go with Rainbow Dash, but, since you got the hang of flying, you decide to do something special. You quickly take off and head to a near by cluster of clouds, and you begin the tedious process of spelling her name in the clouds. Thankfully it only takes around 5 minutes to get it right, and with that you slowly float down, or rather, you thought you would. As the cloud came into view a multicolored blur suddenly grabbed you, causing your stomach to lurch at the sudden change in direction, and you were bombarded with kisses. After managing to push her off, you finally get up the guts to say it, "I love you Rainbow Dash" Now, not to hurt her pride, but the only way to describe her reaction, is "school girl", mostly due to the high pitched "squee!" she let out, and the way she flung you from side to side violently. Then you got the idea to ask her something, "Why did you fall for me, the first time we met I flew into a tree, and other than that you've only really seen me sleeping, so what happened?" Of course with Rainbow being a proud as she is, she just turned away while making a sad face, then turned back to you and hugged you so hard you thought she might break your spine. As the two of you came back down to Earth you saw something you didn't think you'd ever see, the two other mares, Applejack and Ditzy, were cheering. Apparently they didn't quite mind, and were actually happy that you picked Rainbow, Applejack making the remark that, "Now people won't think she's a filly-fooler!" A comment that angered Rainbow quite a bit, but that is to be expected when your best friend calls you a lesbian, but you could care less. While the 3 of them talked amongst themselves you turned to Twilight, who had a huge grin on her face, and you began to talk about what you were going to do so that you'd blend into Ponyville society. _____________________________________________________________________________ 6 months later. Surprisingly, your relationship with Rainbow has been quite normal, almost like the kind that you'd see back on Earth, the only difference being that you lived in a floating cloud house, instead of a 9th floor apartment. The two of you have grown comfortable enough to sleep in the same bed, but nothing more. The most it gets to is some playful nuzzling, but both of you know you shouldn't be fooling around before you tie the knot. You managed to get a job at Sweet Apple Acres as a carrier pony, mainly to deliver family mail or apples to the rest of the Apple family and Ponyville. With the rumor that you're faster than most of the mail ponies going around many other people are trying to go through you to send mail instead, but you always kindly decline, knowing that if you took all the mail, Ditzy wouldn't have a job. Another side effect of you having that kind of speed is that Dash always wants to race you, saying it's helping her get faster too. Thanks to these races though you've learned that Sonic Rainbooms are basically like getting punched in the face by Big Mac, as being to close to one put you in the hospital for two weeks. Of course Rainbow was there as much as she could be, since not only was it her fault, but she was worried that you might not be able to fly again due too breaking both wings when you fell. _____________________________________________________________________________ 2 years later. You made a full recovery, although the doctors did tell Dash to be careful when racing, saying that if you crash like that again, you'll lose your wings. This put Dash in the most depressed mood you've ever seen her in, Pinkie wasn't even able to cheer her up, then you got an idea. Two weeks passed with Dash still in her slump, but today when you arrived home, you had company. Over the two weeks you raised as many bits as you could, and while delivering some mail to the Wonderbolts, you offered them every bit you made to come and see Rainbow, to try and cheer her up. Thankfully they remembered her from the Royal Wedding, along with the other times they've met, and decided to come along free of charge, you guess as a thank you for saving them during the junior flyer competition. You've never seen Dash that happy before, it was as if the whole world clicked into place when she saw Spitfire and Soarin' come into the house after you. You quickly excused yourself, saying that you're just letting her spend time with her heroes. In reality, you were going to get something that would change your life, and hers. A few hours later you saw Soarin' coming towards you after you left the jewelry shop. "Hey, Rainbow told me to come get you, she says she wants to talk to you about something, but she didn't say what." Obviously he wanted to figure what was going on, but he didn't pry into it, when he asked about the bag all you said was, "It's a gift for Dashie." Saying that name made you feel all warm and fuzzy, and Soarin' obviously noticed, as he laughed right after you said it. When you got back to the house Rainbow immediately called you into the bedroom, apologizing to Spitfire for cutting their conversation short. When she shut the door she immediately jumped on you nearly crushing you again, but then she saw the bag you were holding. As she was genuinely curious you told her to close her eyes, and keep them shut until you say it's okay. With that you took out her gift, a gold and diamond Wonderbolts necklace, and put it around her neck. For the second time she freaked out, making a loud "squee!" every time she looked at the necklace. Then after calming her down you asked her the biggest question of her life. "Will you marry me, Rainbow Dash?" _____________________________________________________________________________ 1 year later. You and Rainbow got married as soon as possible, even having guest appearances by the two Wonderbolts who were there when you popped the question, and as of now, you have a small foal, a filly to be exact. She got Rainbow's trademark Rainbow mane, but got your light chocolatey color, and has bright green eyes. When Rainbow was suggesting you name the child, your brain lurched, how do you name children here? Thankfully you managed to mutter out a name that Rainbow loved, Arrow Dash. The doctors warned against it, saying something about it being "too manly" but they were hushed by Rainbow, who said the name means she'll be as fast as an arrow, and always on target. Since it hasn't been long enough for you to forgot many of the fanfics you had read before coming to Equestria, you decided to say the only thing that you could possibly think would fit. "This is, our little Dashie, Rainbow, and we'll raise her to be the fastest flyer in all of Equestria, just like her mother!" With that you felt Rainbow pull you towards her mouth, and she said, "Want to know why I fell for you? It's because I had the strongest feeling that you'd be perfect for me, I guess you could say love at first sight!" Yes I made a "My Little Dashie" pun at the end, but it seems like it fit fairly well, seeing as it was a little version of Rainbow Dash, except for the coat color of course ;3 If anyone read all 3 endings, did you notice how Applejack's went slower than the others? Can you guess why?
Chapter 1: Winter Wrap-UpChapter 1: Winter Wrap-Up A day like any other, you wake up, go to school, chat with friends, and go home. Everyone you know has almost the exact same routine. Except there’s one big difference, you’re a brony. You read fanfics when bored, you look up fan art and comics to pass the time, and your mp3, is filled with the songs from the show. You wouldn’t consider yourself a crazy fan, but like many others, you would jump at any opportunity to go the Equestria to see the loveable ponies in person. It’s a thought that crosses your mind many nights before you fall asleep to one of your favorite songs, Winter Wrap-Up, but something you could dream of, was about to happen to you… _____________________________________________________________________________ As you come to you hear the oh so familiar tune of Winter Wrap-Up, slightly laughing to yourself that you managed to wake up on the same song you fell asleep too, but something’s not right. Its late spring, and the temperatures have been fairly high as of late, but you can feel a distinct chill. You pass it off as it simply being a colder morning, and try to doze back off… “Hey! What are you doing down there, you’re supposed to be helping!” That voice, it sounds familiar, but you can’t exactly place it. Then you feel as though someone has landed next to you. Wait, landed! You open your eyes just in time to see a cyan hoof find it’s place above your face, and your first reaction is to brace yourself. Yet, something feels different, normally when you brace yourself you feel your fist clench, yet this time nothing, not to mention the fact that a hoof is above your head! Of course you have no time to think clearly about it, as the hoof strikes you right on the forehead a few times, almost as if someone was knocking on a door. “What are you sleeping for you’re supposed to be helping the…” You hear the voice trail off, not caring to figure out why before getting to your feet. As you go to get up you finally catch on, as to why there’s a chill in the air, and why there was a hoof knocking you on the head a moment ago. “HOLY S**T! I’M A F**KING PONY!” you yell in your head, thankfully managing to not say it out loud, and therefore not scaring the kind woman, or mare to be correct, that was kind enough to bring you to this realization. Then you notice something else, a slight tug on your back, and a quick check confirms your suspicion, you’re not only a pony, but a Pegasus! Of course you would attempt to float yourself into an upright position, but as you’ve got no idea whatsoever of how wings work, you manage to get lift off, and you start flying… Straight into a nearby tree. As you recover from the hit, you hear somewhat cheerful laughter coming from around where you were a few seconds ago, which of course makes you remember one important fact. The first mare you’ll ever meet was standing there, and saw the whole thing. Before you can start kicking yourself you see the same hoof in front of you, hopefully not to hit you again, so you reach you hand, or rather hoof, towards it. Thankfully your assumption was correct, and the hoof was just there to pick you up. As you get up to see who it was that had been kind enough to still help you after you embarrassed yourself, you immediately regret ever wishing to become a pony. The kind mare who had woken you up, and helped you up, was none other than Rainbow Dash. Short chapter, but need to get the idea going in my head. If the story gets popular I'll make a note to write longer chapters
Chapter 2: The HospitalChapter 2: The Hospital As you attempt to figure out how to free yourself from the embarrassing position you got yourself stuck in, you hear a little giggle coming from Rainbow Dash. "How did you manage to do that, were you still asleep or something?!" Hearing that causes you to feel some warmth in your cheeks, and you physical cower away, hoping to make yourself small enough that Rainbow will forgot about you and move on, but fate has a way of screwing with you. "So I take it you're not from around here, it's painfully obvious, seeing as you aren't wearing a vest like everyone else" Rainbow decides to finally say, after realizing she just laughed at you, "Sorry for startling you, I thought you were on the weather team, and since we're down a few ponies, we need everyone working their hardest!" It was then you finally notice the light blue vest she was wearing, and the leg band, you assume that means captain, or something like it. After a few more minutes you finally got the courage to ask, "Are you really Rainbow Dash?" "Am I Rainbow Dash! Duh, of course, couldn't you tell by my rainbow mane!" Rainbow managed to say, making the most serious face she could, in a feeble attempt to hide her blush at the fact you knew her name beforehand. Being an average guy, you would never notice it, and it didn't help that you now felt even more embarrassed at your little accident now knowing that the self proclaimed, best flyer in all of Equestria, happened to be the one who saw it, which caused you to look down in a extremely pitiful manor. "Oh, sorry, I guess hearing that you knew me made me get a little excited" She said after noticing your pitiful look, "So, how did you know my name?" At that moment you completely froze, both figuratively, and literally, as it happens a certain grey Pegasus had managed to cover you in snow. Luckily that gave you time to think, and possibly a mild case of hypothermia, but you were content knowing that you could create a lie before you passed out due to the cold. _____________________________________________________________________________ You come to with the smell of muffins, possibly blueberry, and the smell you can place fairly well, even being in another world. You're in a hospital, but who carried you here? From what you gathered all the Pegesi were busy trying to finish their part of Winter Wrap-Up, unless they got an earth pony to carry you all the way here, or a unicorn to teleport you to the... Your thoughts are brought to a sudden stop when you feel something move on your stomach. "What was that?" you think to yourself, almost afraid that maybe your in a human hospital, and you actually just had an accident. Either way your eyes are hurting, and you are dying to eat the muffin that you know is on the table next to you, so you open your eyes. What you find laying on you nearly makes the muffin seem as important as a penny when compared to a 100$ bill. Rainbow Dash, the Rainbow Dash, is laying on you, seemingly fast asleep. You mind races for a few seconds, then comes up with a conclusion that you believe makes the most sense. She was afraid that you could have died under her watch, and was just there to make sure you were okay. You then think that the only reason that you didn't go for the she has a crush on you route was because you knew nobody, not even a colorful cartoon pony, could go head-over-heels after seeing how you embarrassed yourself. It also helps that you never felt any strong connection to any of the mane 6, or at least, none more than the others. A quick look around the room revealed to you that it was around seven in the morning, meaning she probably just fell asleep, and happened to fall forward onto you, or you hope so. As you run though ever possible reason as to why she is laying on you, the door opens, and an orange earth pony trots in to your room. "Ah, hello there, mister, uh..." The pony you quickly recognize as Applejack mutters as she sees you have no name on your charts, "I'm here to pick my troublesome friend of mine, she said she was only stayin' for a few hours, but it looks like she stayed the night." You hear what sounds like annoyance in her voice, but say nothing in return. After quite a few attempts to wake Rainbow up, Applejack decides to turn to you. Having engulfed the muffin that was left, hopefully for you and not Rainbow, you're more than happy to talk to anyone. "So, from what she told me" Applejack says, making a slight motion towards the Pegasus on your lap, "You're not from these parts, and are extremely clumsy, and she mentioned that you were actin' a bit sheepish when she was talkin' to ya." First thing you think of is how embarrassing you acted, secondly, how could you explain that you're from somewhere called Earth, and your first time being a pony was when Rainbow woke you up? Thankfully Rainbow managed to wake up, apparently hearing Applejack's voice, and maybe even your own stomach before you could eat that muffin, she slowly gets up, to about a few inches on your lap, then bolts upright, face almost as red as the Apples in Applejack's cutie mark. "I WASN'T SLEEPING ON YOU ON PURPOSE!" was all Rainbow managed to say before turning away to hide her face. The sudden outburst cause both you and Applejack to laugh harder than you though you ever would. After composing herself, Rainbow turned to you and said, "I was only here because one of the Pegasus under my command got you in this mess. I see you already ate the apology muffin that Ditzy had made for you, she was really devastated when she found out she could have really hurt you." Hearing that, and thinking of what you imagine Ditzy being like, made you feel a little bad, since you were the one who propelled themselves into the tree in the first place. _____________________________________________________________________________ After a few more minutes of talking the girls prepared to leave, but something clicked in your head, luckily before AJ had managed to get out the door. "If it isn't too much, could you ask Twilight Sparkle to come see me, I need to talk to her" you ask, hoping that one of them had heard you. "Sure thing, I'll see if she can come down tomorrow, now get some rest, or Rainbow's gonna be worried sick" says an almost laughing Applejack. Well, at least you can trust her to actually ask Twilight, because you have a feeling that talking to her might put you in contact with the only pony who might know what's going on. Princess Celestia.
Chapter 3: The Muffin MareChapter 3: The Muffin Mare Thankfully the orange colored apple farmer held up her promise like you hoped she would, and the next morning you saw a purple Unicorn in your room, with her always helpful assistant at her side. "So, Applejack said that there was something you needed me for?" Twilight said the second she had found a comfortable place to sit. Luckily you had spent more of the night thinking about what to say, and hoping that she wouldn't brush you off as a mad-stallion, you bring yourself to say it. "I'm not from here, or even from this world, I went to bed one night, and woke up here, in the middle of Winter Wrap-Up, as a Pegasus, and I think the only pony who knows how to fix this, is the Princess," you take a deep breath, "since she is all powerful and may have run into this before during here long reign as the ruler of Equestria." Surprisingly, Twilight had stayed calm throughout the whole thing, which couldn't be said for Spike, who had decided to help himself to the muffins Ditsy brought you the night before. He his hand had stopped midway from the plate and his mouth, with more than one muffin in it's grasp. "Uh, Twi, I think this guy's insane, because there's noway he could be from another planet, and still be a perfectly normal pony." was all Spike could say, looking like he was about the call the mental ward and say they let a patient out at some point. Twilight, apparently unfazed by his outburst, simply asked him to write a letter to Princess Celestia, requesting her help in a very unusual issue. ________________________________________________________________________________ After about an hour or so of talking with Twilight about random things, ranging from magic, to science, to facts about Earth, Celestia appeared, as if on cue, as you were just about to eat the last muffin. "My dearest student, what is it that has made you ask for my interference, as I know you can usually handle these incidents on your own" says Celestia in her calm, yet commanding voice, which almost makes you want to bow down before her. Then she notices you, and since you have absolutely no idea what to do, you offer up the muffin, which she gladly takes. While Celestia elegantly eats the muffin, you relay your story to her, much calmer than you had when you had told it to Twilight, and at then end, you got the worst news of your life. "I have no idea what would have cause this to happen, my child, but I can offer you residence in my kingdom until we can figure out what has happened." she says as she quickly finishes off what little was left of the muffin, "If it is any consolation, I'm sure Twilight would be happy to help you get used to life around Ponyville." You immediately regretted eating 3 muffins before she had shown up, because the sudden news that you were now going to be forced to live in Equestria causes you to vomit. Thankfully Twilight had caught on to what was happening and was now levitating a trash can in front of your face. _____________________________________________________________________________ Later that afternoon the medical staff deemed you healthy enough to leave, and as you trotted away, you saw a familiar grey Pegasus flying towards you, so you called out to her, "Ditzy, it's me, the guy you were bringing muffins for! I was just let out, thanks for the muffins, they were delicious!" Thankfully you caught her attention, and she glided down to you, with a very sad look on her face. "I'm so sorry, I just didn't see you under that tree, and when Rainbow said that you could get very, very sick, I was so worried that I thought that if I made you muffins they would help you, since it was all my-" was all Ditzy was allowed to blurt out before a hoof to her mouth, your hoof, made her calm down. Seeing that she was still a bit shaken up, and not knowing what to say, you foolishly decided to give her a hug, which even surprised you a little. "Oh, uh..." Ditzy said as you let her go, "Thanks for not being mad at me. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to stay at my house? Rainbow said you're not from here, so if you don't have anywhere to go..." That was all Ditzy had managed to say before realizing what she was saying, and promptly blushing. Knowing that Twilight wouldn't know that you'd been released, you decided to go with Ditzy to her home, and spend the night. _____________________________________________________________________________ After learning that Ditzy is not only cute, but single, something you note in the back of your mind, you find that she actually does fairly well for herself, despite only being a mailmare, You guessed that with no fillies to take care of she has a lot of extra income, but you decide not to ask, just so you don't run the risk of stepping on any landmines hidden in her past. By the time you and Ditzy made it too her place it was already late evening, and so she decided to make some dinner for the two of you. Unsurprisingly it was muffins, but not the same as the ones you had at the hospital, something she apparently noticed when she gave you your plate. "These are blueberry muffins, I only make them for special occasions, which don't happen very often, which is why I'm so happy that you're okay!" she explains, "Since you're the first pony I've ever hurt that has wanted to talk to me again, other than Rainbow, and you're also the first stallion I've ever invited into my house!" That last thing makes you blush a little bit, as it almost makes it sound like you two were dating, or that there would be something else happening later on. Of course you wouldn't be able to do it, still having the mindset of a human, but you entertain the idea of possibly finding love in Ponyville, maybe even in this slightly off Pegasus. Almost as if on cue, you feel something lean on you, from the same side Ditzy had been on before her slightly flirtatious comment. Then you hear her say, "Oh, can you call me Derpy if you want to, only my closet friends can call me that." Then you realize what was leaning on you, her. You've heard the saying "When in Rome", but this is pushing it, even for a brony. The you get the worst idea ever, of all a time. It won't be that bad to sleep with her like this No the story isn't getting into a sexual zone, just Ditzy/Derpy being her usual silly self (But remember, this does have a romance tag!)
Chapter 4: ConfusionChapter 4: Confusion You wake up the next morning to a surprising sight, not unwelcome, but surprising. A sleeping Ditzy, sprawled out on your lap, a fact that made you more than a little self conscious, realizing that this is one of the few times a female your own age has ever done this, and the fact that she's a pony doesn't help. Your attempts to get up are met with a tough resistance, as she swats you back down or moves closer to you in what looks like an attempt at a hug. Thankfully she wakes up when one of her hug attempts was aimed the wrong direction, and ended up sending her to the floor. As she got to her hoofs she was able to make out what had happened, guessing by how red your face was. "Oh I'm so sorry, did I do something I wasn't supposed to, I didn't mean it, it just happens every once and a while with me, I just do things without noticing, and-". Yet again you had to hush her, mainly out of the dear that she might start hyperventilating with how fast she was talking. A quick glance at the clock on her wall changed her attitude in an instant, as she now knows she was late for work, and still had to go have a shower. After showing you to her fridge, which was unsurprisingly filled with muffins of all shapes and sizes, she dashed of too what you guessed was the bathroom. A few minutes passed with nothing really happening, other than the occasional noise from the bathroom, until someone knocked on the door. Unsure of who it might be, you decided to go and answer it, and tell them Ditzy was busy having a shower, but what you saw instead was something you would have never expected. It was Rainbow, here at Ditzy's with a note, and what looked like a box of blueberry muffins. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be getting better at the hospital! And where's Derpy?!". That wasn't what you were thinking would happen when you opened the door, but at least it was a "friendly" face, but that could be debated. Before Rainbow can continue her interrogation Ditzy waltz out of the bathroom, not wearing a towel. Rainbow almost immediately tried to cover your eyes, nearly poking them out in the process, and all she could manage to say was 'DERPY! PUT A TOWEL ON!" Of course the grey Pegasus didn't see the issue, but didn't want to fight either, so she did as Rainbow asked. Sadly for you, what the fandom guessed at, about ponies looking more suggestive the more they put on, was true. Luckily you had time to say something about going to Twilight's before you got what was dubbed a "wing boner", as you now being a pony, meant that the stimulus would act the same as if Ditzy had been a human female in the same situation. ________________________________________________________________________________ As lucky as you were, part of you wanted to figure out why Rainbow as there with muffins and a note, and something nagged in the back of your mind, partly trying to make you remember they are ponies, and that you may be leaving Equestria soon. The other part was suggesting that the fanon was right, and Rainbow was into mares, something that made you feel something you could only describe as fear, but you couldn't figure out why. Before you could come up with a reason that you were okay with, you heard some loud galloping coming from the right of you. Unlucky for you, or lucky, depending on how you want to view it, the galloping was Applejack coming to open up the morning stall, but her speed made you hazard a guess that she was running late. You decided to attempt flight once more, hoping that maybe being in this body for a few days has given you the knowledge of flight. Thankfully you were right, as you got up into the air rather easy, but only one thing was wrong, you didn't know how to move while in the air. Then you thought of riding a bike, you have to lean to turn, so maybe that would apply here too, and your luck payed off again, as you slowly figured out the mechanics of flight. Just as you figured out every last detail of basic flight, you saw an orange blur pass you, and you decided against all reason, to try and catch up. To say that it was easy was an overstatement, you've never worked that hard before in your life, but when you caught up, you got to learn exactly where the Apple family's stall was. Sadly the first thing to learn this, was your face. "You all right there sugarcube?" Thankfully it looks like Applejack didn't mind that you had just toppled the stand and possibly broken the sign, but was more concerned that you might have to be carried back to the hospital. "I'm fine, I think, although it does feel like someone hit me in the head with a shovel" you manage to groan while massaging your now aching head. This managed to get Applejack to laugh, either at the stupidity of what you just said, or at you in general, it was all the same to you. "Well sorry dear, but that shovel you mentioned, was just my apple stall, and if you don't mind, could you help me set it back up?" "Sure, on one condition though, you let me fix anything I broke, and work off anything I might have cost you." Of course Applejack was a bit more worried that you might have hurt yourself than she was about any amount of bits she might have lost, but with a quick nod, you and her got to work. ________________________________________________________________________________ After three hours of selling apples to what seemed like half of Ponyville, a orange hoof was all you needed to let you know it was break time. Just as you were going to ask what else you could help her with, a big red stallion, that you recognize as Big Mac, showed up, with what looked like a disappointed frown on his face. "Sis, what is this guy doing here? Why are you making him work the stall while you talk with friends?" That brought up a good point, ever since you got the hang of things, it seemed as though Applejack had disappeared, nowhere to be seen, certainly not with you at the stall. Just as Applejack went to speak up, you said something that caught both her and Big Mac off guard, "I wanted to help, seeing as I had crashed into the stall this morning, that and it didn't seem fair to have her working all by herself." With a look of bewilderment from Big Mac, and a blush from Applejack, you suddenly felt a strong red foreleg wrap around your neck. "You hittin' on my sis or something. Cus if you are, I'm tellin' ya, you're gonna have to go through me first." This brought something to your attention. Why were you helping her for the entire morning, you only hit your head, and the sign was sturdy enough to stay together even if Big Mac had been the one to run into it, so why did you do all this work? Was it out of kindness, or was there something you didn't even know of making you do it? Before you could say anything two forelegs were wrapped around you, both to your surprise, and what was going to be your worst nightmare. Applejack had hugged you, maybe even nuzzled your neck, but before you could figure out what was going on, a big red hoof hit you in the back of the head.
Chapter 5: Muffins, Apples, and RainbowsChapter 5: Muffins, Apples, and Rainbows You wake up to a familiar smell. The smell of muffins, but this time you smell something sweeter, possibly apples? Maybe Applejack and Ditzy worked on the muffins together this time, since it was because of Big Mac that you're now sitting in a hospital bed again. Opening your eyes brought you a sight almost as strange as when Rainbow had been sleeping on your lap. Sitting in a chair in the corner was Ditzy, but laying next to you, was Applejack. At this sight you mind froze and your heart skipped a beat. What is she doing in my bed, why is she tucked up next to me, how am I still alive with her in this position? As you try to make sense of this predicament you notice a sleeping Rainbow Dash on a could just outside your window. Why are they here, was I in that bad of a condition? A stir at your side thankfully meant you would get some answers. As she sat up you noticed her hair wasn't tied up like normal, and her hat was missing as well. "Mornin' sleepy head, you feelin' any better?" Her nonchalant way of talking in this situation unnerves you, but all you could mutter out was a sound of confusion. Then as if she finally saw something wrong she jumped up and somehow managed to quietly land on the tiled floor. "I'm sorry, it's just that it was cold last night, and as the other two had ways of staying warm, I thought that doing that would keep me warm enough to sleep" It was then you noticed the grey blanket laying across Ditzy, and remembered that the clouds somehow kept Rainbow at the right temperature. As you moved you head to say that it was fine, you saw something drift down to the floor. It was Applejack's trademark stetson, but what was it doing on your head? "Ah, I'm sorry, I put that on you because you were sleeping upright and there was no room on the table, that and I thought it would look good on you." Applejack sounded very coy when she said it, but you believed her, she was the embodiment of honesty after all. "Thanks, how did I look?" you politely asked, being genuinely curious. "Pretty good, I might even say that you looked fairly handsome," she responded with a grin and a blush, "that and it helped to hide the bandages." With that she winked at you, but her smile quickly became a worried face. Your bandage was starting to get very red, most likely because the shock of seeing her laying next to you had cause your blood pressure to rise ever so slightly. "Ah, here let me get that, it's the least I can do" she said as she grabbed some bandages and hopped onto your lap... Which put you in a very awkward position, as her hips were just above yours, and the way she was moving looked very suggestive, no matter how you looked at it. It seems like the world is trying to kill you, as at that moment, Big Mac made his way into the room, most likely to grab AJ for work. "APPLEJACK GET OFF OF HIM RIGHT NOW! DIDN'T GRANNY RAISE YOU TO ACT BETTER THAN THIS!" yelled Big Mac, probably loud enough that Celestia would be able to hear it, which also meant the two other mares that had come to check on you, were about wake up. Now you knew the world was trying to kill you as in a matter of seconds both Big Mac and Rainbow Dash were at your bedside ready to beat you into a bloody pulp. Luckily for you a certain purple Unicorn walked into the room, and used her magic to get the two angry ponies off of you before they got a chance to hit you. "What is going on in here! Why are you two trying to kill this poor pony?!" Twilight remarked, seeming almost afraid of what would cause Big Mac to get this riled up. "My sister was riding him like there was no tomorrow! I have no doubt in my mind that is was his doing, probably tricking her into it!" You never expected Big Mac to get this angry, but sadly you had no way to defend yourself, as you have suddenly lost the ability to talk all together. Thankfully Twilight was observant enough to notice that the covers on your bed would have prevented anything from happening, and that there was a half done bandage job on your head. "Guys, she was changing his bandages, nothing more, she was moving like that so she could reach around his head without hurting him." How Twilight said that as if she was talking normally, is beyond you, but in your current state, the only thanks you could offer was a deep nod. While Big Mac and Rainbow got a talking too, Ditzy decided to come over and finish the job Applejack had started, even adding in a little peck on the lips that caught you completely off guard. "What was that for Ditzy?" you somehow managed to mutter that out. "Well, it's a thanks for being okay, I was really worried you wouldn't wake up, and remember, you can call me Derpy!" she answered, ending with another peck on the lips. By now your brain has almost stopped functioning, you just kissed a pony, twice, and it felt normal, like there was nothing wrong with it, but you're a human, and where you're from ponies are animals, things people use for fun, not things to fall in love with! Before you even knew it yourself, you bolted out of the room through the open window, and just flew, faster than you ever thought you could. You needed to figure out what in all sweet hell was going on, and being there wasn't helping! Remember, you still have the mindset of a human at this time, and all this thought of relationships with ponies is causing you to act irrationally
Chapter 6: Revelations and DecisionsChapter 6: Revelations and Decisions As you flew away from the hospital to felt as though something was drawing your mind away from you, almost as if something was trying to take control of you. At first you just thought it was the head injury, but then you began to feel almost human again. As soon as you got over a clearing you fainted, left to plummet down to the ground. ________________________________________________________________________________ Wake up "What the? Where am I?" You've woken up in a strange room, seemingly pure white, with one thing standing out to you. A dark grey shadow, that looks somewhat like you did when you were a pony. Are you finally awake? Where is that voice coming from, it sounds almost like... Yourself? Yes, I am you, you are me Now this is starting to freak you out, a voice claiming to be you, is talking to you. Then it clicks. The voice is coming from the shadow pony standing in front of you Well, now that we have that covered, time to make your choice Choice? What choice? Never before did anyone mention a choice about anything! Ah, yes, I forgot you have no idea what is going on. Want the short version, or the long version? You ask for the short version, as you have a feeling the long version wouldn't make very much sense, if any at all Well, basically, I'm you're subconscious and I brought you here to Equestria because you wished for it You never though of it that way, but now that you are hearing it, you realize that you did want to come here in the first place, just like every other brony, but how did you actually get here? Simple, you have ceased to exist in the other world, except for me, right now I am controlling your human body's actions, and you are living through the pony body Now that that's out of the way, what was this choice he, you, mentioned? Ah, thanks for reminding me! Simply put, you have to choose between staying as a pony, or going back to being a human As you said that two portals, or at least, what you though were portals, opened to show your human self, and your pony self. The human one was sleeping like it has every night, but the pony one is surrounded by 4 concerned mares, and one scared colt. As you can see there are many differences between the two, but what will you choose? You think of what would happen in the human world... You would go on living through your life, finding love, going to school, growing old, and eventually dying That didn't sound all too good for you, there was no hope of random fun things happening to you there... You say that now, but if you go back to the pony world, you will be forced to choose between 3 of the mares that are currently crying over your limp body This causes your heart to drop. Then you look and see that Ditzy, Applejack, and Rainbow are all huddled over your body, trying to find any sign of life left in it. Then you feel a sudden warmth come over your body... You have decided... ________________________________________________________________________________ Suddenly you open your eyes to find 3 mares with looks of surprise and sadness staring you down. Almost as if one cue all 3 of them jump onto you in a deep hug, nearly crushing your ribs due to the sudden compression. After what feels like hours they let go, and you all stand. The Big Mac comes over to you and with a hoof on your shoulder he whispers, "If you want my sister, ya better tell her now, and don't break 'er heart, or else." With a quick though about Ditzy, Applejack, and Rainbow, you prepare to make your choice, but one thing needs to be asked. "Do all 3 of you like me?" This obviously catches them all off guard, but they smile back anyways. "Yeah, you're like a big muffin" says Ditzy "Ya, you're a sweet colt, and hard workin' too" says Applejack "I guess, maybe it's because you don't go down easy, or well, I don't know!" says Rainbow Dash Then you hear in your head... Time to choose Go to chapter 7 for Applejack Go to chapter 8 for Ditzy/Derpy Go to chapter 9 for Rainbow Dash
Chapter 7: ApplejackYou Have Chosen Applejack With all 3 mares staring you down, you finally manage to say, "I love Applejack." As expected the other 2 mares looked extremely disappointed, so your first instinct is to apologize, but you have no idea what to say. Yet, as you see Applejack come over to you can wrap her forelegs around your neck, and as she lays a big kiss on your lips, it comes to you. "Rainbow, Ditzy, I'm so sorry, it's just that Applejack is the kind of mare I want. She's kind, caring, hardworking, and always there when you need her. She knows the importance of family, something I can tell just by looking at how angry Big Mac had been." After a few minutes the two mares calmed down, and came up to talk to you and Applejack. "AJ, I'm so happy that you finally found a special somepony, I know I was sad just now, but knowing that the two of you will be happy is awesome enough for me to forgive and forget. Just remember, I'm doing a Sonic Rainboom at the wedding" Rainbow said with a wink. Then Ditzy came up, "I understand why you'd like Applejack more than me, since all I eat is muffins and I'm a little strange, but hopefully you and her can one day make little apple muffins together!" Both you and Applejack are thrown off by that last thing, but quickly recover in time to hear Ditzy shout, "And you can call me Derpy!" Now to the next order of business, what to do about you, now that Equestria is your home. Thankfully Twilight had stuck around, and somehow had a plan already set up since she guessed it may take forever for anyone to figure out how you got here in the first place. Twilight promises that she can easily get you integrated into Ponyville, and Applejack suggests living on the farm with her and her family, that way they get to be comfortable around each other. With a final farewell to Twilight, you and Applejack trot off towards Sweet Apple Acres, your new home... ________________________________________________________________________________ It's been nearly 2 years since you showed up. With you and Applejack being an item, Pinkie decided to throw a massive party that got you acquainted with everyone in Ponyville. You've also got a good friendship with the rest of the Apple family, especially Applebloom and the rest of the CMC, since you have a blank flank like them, but that's because you're human in origin, or so you think. Through Applebloom you've become good friends with Cheerile, the local teacher, and have yourself, in a way, become a secondary teacher, using what knowledge you could remember from Earth to educate the young fillies of Ponyville. You being so close to Applebloom has obviously made Applejack very happy, but in the two years you have been together, she has only one complaint. You've never kissed, except for the first time you said you loved her, and it's mainly your fault, as you are still trying to accept the fact that she's a pony, but then again, so are you! ________________________________________________________________________________ 3 more years have passed, and now you are sitting with Applejack, watching Rainbow Dash perform a fabled Sonic Rainboom over the heads of your friends and family. Rainbow did say she would do one at the wedding, and she held up to her end of the deal, as did you. Earlier that day you and Applejack tied the knot, and officially became colt and mare. As the ceremony wound down you both notice something that has shown up during the wedding. Your cutie mark, it's of an apple, of course, as now you and Big Mac spend most of the day bucking apples and Applejack and Applebloom sell them at the stall. Thanks to that you've grown quite a bit, almost exactly to the same size as Big Mac, yet you still look like a Pegasus. Rainbow says your a waste of talent, but AJ always says your the best apple bucking Pegasus ever, probably because you had something, or rather somepony, to work for. This is the more conservative ending, compared to the other two, can anyone guess why that is?
Chapter 8: Ditzy/DerpyYou Have Chosen Derpy! While the 3 mares stared you down hoping for answers, you simply said, "I love Ditzy, I want her to be my muffin" While the whole muffin thing was cheesy, made even more obvious my Rainbow making a fake gagging noise, it seems that Ditzy took those words to heart. "Thank you muffin, and, you can call me Derpy, especially since we're dating now!" Where Ditzy, or rather, Derpy, gets all her energy from, you haven't a clue, but now you know that she will share this energy with you, either in muffins or in love. The muffins idea sounds good, as your stomach rumbles due to you having been out for around a day, and talking about delicious muffins doesn't really help. Thankfully the other two aren't as sad as you thought they would be, probably because they know you'll be good to Derpy, or they just wanted you to be happy, who cares? You're hungry, and all you can think about is muffins! After managing to talk the group, Twilight included seeing as she stayed unlike Big Mac, into going to Sugar Cube Corner for some treats the rest of the day was fairly uneventful. Luckily it seems that the bakery was under a bit of stress due to someone in Canterlot ordering 5 baker's dozens of cupcakes, probably for a high class party or something, so Pinkie's usual welcome party was put on hold, and instead she decided to make everyone a special muffin. After about 5 minutes of waiting everyone had a different muffin in front of them. Berry for Twilight, apple for Applejack, wild berry for Rainbow, blueberry for Derpy, and chocolate for you. Remembering that chocolate is poisonous to some animals back on Earth, you ask Twilight if chocolate is safe to eat, and luckily it is, otherwise you'd feel bad not being able to explain why you didn't eat the muffin she made you. It was then that Derpy decided to give you a pet name of your own, "Chocolate Muffin!" she decided to yell for some reason. She explained it as since you were her muffin, and you were chocolate toned, you were a chocolate muffin. Makes sense, but she still just calls you muffin anyways. _____________________________________________________________________________ It's been just over a year since you came to Equestria, and thanks to Pinkie throwing a "Welcome/Happy Relationship/Big Order is Done!" party, you met many of the ponies that live in or near Ponyville. Along with that you found out that being with Derpy felt almost like you were still on Earth, as she had a personality that just made you feel at home, and so the relationship was growing fast, with a certain fashion pony spreading rumors about marriage. After being with Derpy for so long, it's not something you haven't considered, but with you not having a stable income, being the town handyman isn't so secure, and you're not sure if Derpy is ready. Actually, you're not sure if Derpy is anything. She's still a little bit mysterious to you, but other than that you know almost everything about each other, though she doesn't understand the whole Earth thing. _____________________________________________________________________________ 6 months have passed, and now the rumors of marriage have been put to rest, as you and Derpy actually did get married, and under Celestia too! You don't have any clue how Twilight did it, but she did, and it was the most amazing thing ever, Rainbow even doing a Sonic Rainboom to celebrate. Right now Derpy is pregnant with a foal, apparently a Unicorn, if you can trust Twilight's magical ability, which you obviously do, it's her talent after all! When the news hit town everyone seemed to freeze, but then all eyes turned to you, something they've only done twice in the whole time you've been there. Knowing that Derpy wouldn't be able to do her mail job, you opted to open a handyman business, which has done fairly well, and your cutie mark revealed itself to be a swiss army knife, probably because you could do almost everything the ponies in town could ask of you, even at one time helping give birth to a foal due to the hospital being worked on and therefore not open. So much has happened and you just can't believe it, but in the end you love every minute of it. _____________________________________________________________________________ 5 years later. Now that your young filly is old enough for school Derpy is thinking about returning to being a mailmare, something you said she doesn't have to do anymore, as your business has become successful, even one time going up to the castle to repair an old rafter in the throne room. You decided to go along with the fanon that you could remember and named the filly Dinky, it also helps that she got her mother's personality and basic appearance. Although, you do like to laugh to yourself, as your appearance closely resembles "Doctor Whooves" the fan character who was supposedly a time pony, that everyone always paired with Derpy. Now you're walking with Dinky and Derpy to the local school house, but something unexpected happens. Celestia herself comes down and stops right before you, with what looks to be an egg. Remembering the story of how Twilight got Spike your heart skips a beat, almost afraid that this could mean your daughter is going to be taken away to study magic. Just as Celestia hoped, Dinky was able to hatch the egg perfectly, revealing and grey and brown baby dragon. While Derpy and Dinky played with the new baby Celestia pulls you aside. "I remembered the story you told me when you came to fix the palace, of how your daughter seemed to have great magical abilities, as she had been able to lift you off the ground and turn a napkin into a muffin" whispered Celestia, "but don't worry, she'll stay here in Ponyville, I'll have Twilight teach her all there is to know about magic." With that weight on your shoulders is gone, and you turn back to your family. This is the perfect life, and it can't get any better than this, you think to yourself as you watch Dinky throw muffins at the baby dragon while Derpy cheers her on. This one goes a lot faster compared to Applejack, but that's because Derpy is just so loveable!
Chapter 9: Rainbow DashYou Have Chosen Rainbow Dash With the 3 mares looking at your every move, you decided to go with Rainbow Dash, but, since you got the hang of flying, you decide to do something special. You quickly take off and head to a near by cluster of clouds, and you begin the tedious process of spelling her name in the clouds. Thankfully it only takes around 5 minutes to get it right, and with that you slowly float down, or rather, you thought you would. As the cloud came into view a multicolored blur suddenly grabbed you, causing your stomach to lurch at the sudden change in direction, and you were bombarded with kisses. After managing to push her off, you finally get up the guts to say it, "I love you Rainbow Dash" Now, not to hurt her pride, but the only way to describe her reaction, is "school girl", mostly due to the high pitched "squee!" she let out, and the way she flung you from side to side violently. Then you got the idea to ask her something, "Why did you fall for me, the first time we met I flew into a tree, and other than that you've only really seen me sleeping, so what happened?" Of course with Rainbow being a proud as she is, she just turned away while making a sad face, then turned back to you and hugged you so hard you thought she might break your spine. As the two of you came back down to Earth you saw something you didn't think you'd ever see, the two other mares, Applejack and Ditzy, were cheering. Apparently they didn't quite mind, and were actually happy that you picked Rainbow, Applejack making the remark that, "Now people won't think she's a filly-fooler!" A comment that angered Rainbow quite a bit, but that is to be expected when your best friend calls you a lesbian, but you could care less. While the 3 of them talked amongst themselves you turned to Twilight, who had a huge grin on her face, and you began to talk about what you were going to do so that you'd blend into Ponyville society. _____________________________________________________________________________ 6 months later. Surprisingly, your relationship with Rainbow has been quite normal, almost like the kind that you'd see back on Earth, the only difference being that you lived in a floating cloud house, instead of a 9th floor apartment. The two of you have grown comfortable enough to sleep in the same bed, but nothing more. The most it gets to is some playful nuzzling, but both of you know you shouldn't be fooling around before you tie the knot. You managed to get a job at Sweet Apple Acres as a carrier pony, mainly to deliver family mail or apples to the rest of the Apple family and Ponyville. With the rumor that you're faster than most of the mail ponies going around many other people are trying to go through you to send mail instead, but you always kindly decline, knowing that if you took all the mail, Ditzy wouldn't have a job. Another side effect of you having that kind of speed is that Dash always wants to race you, saying it's helping her get faster too. Thanks to these races though you've learned that Sonic Rainbooms are basically like getting punched in the face by Big Mac, as being to close to one put you in the hospital for two weeks. Of course Rainbow was there as much as she could be, since not only was it her fault, but she was worried that you might not be able to fly again due too breaking both wings when you fell. _____________________________________________________________________________ 2 years later. You made a full recovery, although the doctors did tell Dash to be careful when racing, saying that if you crash like that again, you'll lose your wings. This put Dash in the most depressed mood you've ever seen her in, Pinkie wasn't even able to cheer her up, then you got an idea. Two weeks passed with Dash still in her slump, but today when you arrived home, you had company. Over the two weeks you raised as many bits as you could, and while delivering some mail to the Wonderbolts, you offered them every bit you made to come and see Rainbow, to try and cheer her up. Thankfully they remembered her from the Royal Wedding, along with the other times they've met, and decided to come along free of charge, you guess as a thank you for saving them during the junior flyer competition. You've never seen Dash that happy before, it was as if the whole world clicked into place when she saw Spitfire and Soarin' come into the house after you. You quickly excused yourself, saying that you're just letting her spend time with her heroes. In reality, you were going to get something that would change your life, and hers. A few hours later you saw Soarin' coming towards you after you left the jewelry shop. "Hey, Rainbow told me to come get you, she says she wants to talk to you about something, but she didn't say what." Obviously he wanted to figure what was going on, but he didn't pry into it, when he asked about the bag all you said was, "It's a gift for Dashie." Saying that name made you feel all warm and fuzzy, and Soarin' obviously noticed, as he laughed right after you said it. When you got back to the house Rainbow immediately called you into the bedroom, apologizing to Spitfire for cutting their conversation short. When she shut the door she immediately jumped on you nearly crushing you again, but then she saw the bag you were holding. As she was genuinely curious you told her to close her eyes, and keep them shut until you say it's okay. With that you took out her gift, a gold and diamond Wonderbolts necklace, and put it around her neck. For the second time she freaked out, making a loud "squee!" every time she looked at the necklace. Then after calming her down you asked her the biggest question of her life. "Will you marry me, Rainbow Dash?" _____________________________________________________________________________ 1 year later. You and Rainbow got married as soon as possible, even having guest appearances by the two Wonderbolts who were there when you popped the question, and as of now, you have a small foal, a filly to be exact. She got Rainbow's trademark Rainbow mane, but got your light chocolatey color, and has bright green eyes. When Rainbow was suggesting you name the child, your brain lurched, how do you name children here? Thankfully you managed to mutter out a name that Rainbow loved, Arrow Dash. The doctors warned against it, saying something about it being "too manly" but they were hushed by Rainbow, who said the name means she'll be as fast as an arrow, and always on target. Since it hasn't been long enough for you to forgot many of the fanfics you had read before coming to Equestria, you decided to say the only thing that you could possibly think would fit. "This is, our little Dashie, Rainbow, and we'll raise her to be the fastest flyer in all of Equestria, just like her mother!" With that you felt Rainbow pull you towards her mouth, and she said, "Want to know why I fell for you? It's because I had the strongest feeling that you'd be perfect for me, I guess you could say love at first sight!" Yes I made a "My Little Dashie" pun at the end, but it seems like it fit fairly well, seeing as it was a little version of Rainbow Dash, except for the coat color of course ;3 If anyone read all 3 endings, did you notice how Applejack's went slower than the others? Can you guess why?
