She looked through its pages to find all types of black magic that would make her even more powerful that the princesses combined! But she looked at the spells they could be broken if someone told her the truth. She scowled and slammed the book shut frustrated, she wanted Equestria to be more loose more fun! She got up again and thought 'Well I am smart if I think I can probably change the spells if I wanted' and with that she got to work.

It had taken her many clients and nights to get through but she finally did it a spell that would gradually sap the princesses powers and make them her own. The whole thing was tricky, if she messed she would definitely be in the papers tomorrow as a new abomination or a odd death. But she wanted no needed this, the book appeared for a reason and she was prepared to loose what she had to test the spell. Shining had even added her own little twist in the spell she was eager to see. Shining picked up her book with her magic and walked to her dungeon so nobody would see or hear her.

With the setting sun to the rising moon

With that last sentence there was a bright light that filled her dungeon where she cast the spell. Shining felt a burn on her from her hooves to the tip of her horn. She shut her mouth to hold in a scream of pain when the light suddenly closed in oh her. When she opened her eyes she felt powerful and her power growing in the seconds. With a smirk she stood up from her collapsed position "Now Equestria you will bow down to your new master. As I bring a new age for the land! For my next victim why don't I start with the element of kindness" Shining ended with a gleam in her eyes determination and slight insanity sketched on her features
