A Broken part of my mind

It was all black...was i dreaming..?...was i dead...?who know...i hear'd screaming...from...my family...my mother...shot's...and then nothing...but this...was just the end of my story,let's begin from the start,from a long,start.

2074,dc,America.8:12 Am.Monday.

I'm 12 years old gryphon,my name's Pholus,my mother was a pony,a beutifull pony,a white mane,and a grey coat,her name was Odety,my father,is a gryphon to,his name's Judà,he had Browns feather,like me,and a shade of black on his head.

That morning i was doing breakfast,in the "kitchen",we were all living in the forest,or at least,what remind of it,my father built it,with peaces of woods,it wasn't a really nice house,but it was what we got,it was cold outside,i was eating rabbit that my father hunt'd,he was hunting now,my mother was sit at the other side of the table,looking at me with a smile.

"have you dream'd good sweet?"she said

"well not much...i had a nightmare"i response meanwhile i was looking at the food

"i'm sorry to hear that,what was about?"she said couriusly

"...You...and dad...it was...it was scary..but...i..don't want to talk about it"closing my eyes

"i'm sorry dear,if you need,i'm here"and then she go outside

That was...an'orrible nightmare,it was about my parents...my...only my mother...she was dead...on..the floor,we weren't in our house...we were somewhere else...i don't know where..but it was...full of light,it was a strange feel during that nightmare...i don't how to explain it

Then my father enter the room with some blood on his wing,i was worried

"Dad are you hurt?"

"no,don't worry son,it's nothing"he said and then went to his room

My mother entered the room,and look'd at me with a Worried face

"W-what's wrong mom?what happen?"i said worried.

"Nothing...don't worry"trying to camufe her worried voice with a soft and calm one.

Obviusly,now i was worried,i leave'd the table and went to my father room,i entered and saw him pulling out an'arrow from his arm.

i look'd at his with a scary face,and then he look'd at me

"odety.."he said,and then my mom come

"Pholus,leave you'r father alone for a second"she said,and take me to my room.

She close'd the door,i sat on my bed,well actually it wasn't really a bed,it was a pile of wheat,it was soft and confortable,and that was enough for me.

A couple of minutes later,my father enter'd in my room with his arm banded,and sat in front of me.

"It's everything alright dear?"he ask'd me with his deep voice,but at the same time like sweet.

"I should ask that to you.."i said with sadness in my voice.

He sighed,and again look'd at me

"I..I stumbled in some predators,nothing else" he said

"Why are liying to you'r own son dad"i was a smart kid,i know'd when someone lie to me

"...Is something that you don't have to worry about"he said hugging me.

"who were they...?"looking at his arm.

"Bad people"with a tone of seriousness

"i've notice that,but why they did that?"

"are you sure you want to know that?"

"yes."

"Those,are not just predators,they'r hunters"

"But...we're hunters"

"let me finish..they do not just hunt Causal animals,they search animals like us,Gryphon,cause we're rare,son,they want us...for...for work for they."

"Why can't we work for they?and why they shot you?"

"we can't work for they because...they make us...thing that we don't like...and they shot me trying to stop me"

"How do they know of what i don't like?and why were they trying to stop you?"

"they know...much things...they were trying to stop me,for...trapping me,but i didn't want to be trappe'd,because if they catch me,i couldn't take care anymore of you and odety"

"...will they...catch...?"

"No,they will not,but only if you do what i say,and stay with me,don't go in the forest alone,alright?"

"...yes dad"and the he hug'd me again,and leave'd.

I was bored,i was looking at the ceiling...why dad don't want me to go in the forest alone...probably cause of those..."hunters"...i thought that i was an'hunter...not a big one,at least for now,mmmh...dammit,now i want to go in the forest..but dad...mah,he will not notice that im not here

i walk'd out of my room looking around for my mom or dad,and none of them was there,i walk'd until to arrive to the door,and get out,it was a "normal day",well apart the sky that was kinda green kinda blue,and the sun was beutifully irradiated,everything was normal,there's was a nice lake were i'm usually to go when i'm bored.

I walk i bit in the forest for reach it,and arrived,it was strangerly and pure lake,were radiation didn't arrive,nature did,it was surrendered by trees,there wasn't even the sky,the trees were so big that they covered it,it was kinda dark,but not too dark,i could see,and light rays could have passe'd into the leaves of the trees,it was like always peacefull,i sat on the riva,looking at the lake,so beutiful,looking at my reflection.

And then i hear'd some noises from a bush on the other side of the lake.
