Revenge Will Belong To Everypony

It was in the afternoon, the beaten and battered Dark Doom Gang retreated to the Temple of Starlight, otherwise known by its new occupants as The Temple of Rainbow Moon. It was there they met with the Order of Rainbow Moon, who paid them graciously to use the Resurrection Spell at The Stones of The Wicked and to conquer the town of Ponytopia. The gang had failed in owning Ponytopia, but had succeeded in raising the dead. The Dark Doom Gang consisted of Poison Heart, Storm Cloud, Onyx, Black Widow, Skull & Crossbones, and Storm Watch. There hides were horribly tore up by the barbed wire attack Rainbow Heart, possessed by Double Rainbow Had inflicted. Poison Heart, the gang’s leader informed the cult about what had happened.

The Order of Rainbow Moon had hired the gang to cause the incidents at Ponytopia. They had showed Poison Heart how to perform the Resurrection Spell on the zombies and ghosts. There were six members: 2 earth pones, 2 pegasi, and 2 unicorns, one male and one female of each type, and one pony of whom they did not speak of. The unicorn male was the leader. They all wore distinctive cloaks. Rainbow Moon’s breastplate symbol was on the sides of their black cloaks, where there cutie marks would be on the clothing. The symbol is a yin and yang symbol with a sun on the left white side and a moon on the right black side for dots and the yin and yang circular symbol was surrounded by a round rainbow. The Order didn’t use names, they used numbers instead, additionally, their cutie marks were tattooed over with their number. There was 0 (zero) who they never mentioned. 1 was the leader. He was a white male unicorn with white mane and tail and blue eyes. His cutie mark was a “1.” 2 was a female black unicorn with black mane, tail, and green eyes. Cutie Mark was a “2.” 3, he was a blue pegasus with teal mane and tail and red eyes. His cutie mark was a “3.” 4, she was a red pegasus with teal mane and tail and blue eyes. Her cutie mark was a “4.” 5, he was a purple earth pony with teal mane and tail with purple eyes. His cutie mark was a “5.” 6, she was a pink earth pony with teal mane and tail with pink eyes. Her cutie mark was a “6.” The Order members were ceremoniously married to each other based on the type of pony they were and by gender. The spirit of Double Rainbow witnessed the marriages, blessing them. 1 was wed to 2, 3 was betrothed to 4, and 5 was hitched to 6. 0 was a mate being reserved for Rainbow Moon, if and when he returned.

The Order convened after the interview was over to discuss their next action. The decision was unanimous.

1 stated to the waiting Dark Doom Gang, “You failed us and by doing so you failed Rainbow Moon. Your errors need to be atoned for.”

The Dark Doom Gang members were tied to ritual beds against their will, shackled and chained. The Leader, 1, took the athame and starting with their leader and going down the gang’s hierarchy, ritually sacrificed them. He did this methodically by cutting them open and removing their heart from their body while they were still alive with it beating. 1 used a special crystal that was his necklace, it was wrapped by black string and hung from his neck. 1 had taken it off for the ritual, but normally wore it. The trick was that the crystal had to be inside the victim’s body in order for it to absorb their souls. He placed it inside their body. It was then he severed the arteries and veins with the athame, or ritual dagger, taking the heart out. The soul would then be imprisoned inside the crystal. The leader had encapsulated their souls into the sacred special crystal from the Crystal Empire.

The leader of The Cult of Rainbow Moon said in conclusion to his fellow members, “Rainbow Moon will deliver us from the evils of Equestria. We must merge Double Rainbows’ spirit with Rainbow Hearts’ body to bring about the change, temporary possession is not enough to bring about the transformation.”

They agreed.

1 stated, “If we can’t conquer Ponytopia, then we will destroy it. We will cast The Insanity Spell on Ponytopia, driving everypony mad. In the chaos we will be hidden and it will allow us to proceed with our path.”

The Order of Rainbow Moon sought to bring back Rainbow Moon, by command of the spirit of Double Rainbow. Double Rainbow’s voice had not been heard of lately, meaning that he had probably infused himself with his former lover, Rainbow Heart, in some way, temporarily. Now was the moment for them to proceed with their plan, although it would have been easier if the failures had commandeered the town. Rainbow Heart was the pony they sought. The Order knew they would never get to him in Ponytopia now after the Dark Doom Gang’s blunders. The Alicorn Princesses would send heavy amounts of royal guards to ensure the peace and protection of the town. The Order would have to get Rainbow Heart to come to them on their terms in order to succeed.

The Order came together as a group after Rainbow Moon found and selected the Element of Disharmony bearers. It was then, a few ponies realized that Rainbow Moon’s method was accurate. Double Rainbow’s spirit has been guiding the cult to bring about the rebirth of Rainbow Moon, the only alicorn The Order believed was able to save Equestria from the evils that plague it. Double Rainbow the other half of Rainbow Moon had been guiding them to bring about the transformation again.
