Balance Must Be Restored

In a rainbow flash, we were there at the temple. The Order of Rainbow Moon’s Temple was located on an ancient graveyard near The Great Fortress, which was used during The Great Pony War, the ripest of souls could be harvested here by evil ponies. The Great Fortress had been Double Rainbow’s base of operations during his terror attacks.

I stated, “You’re God is here to deliver you.”

Night Wish was tied up and on the ground struggling to get away to no avail.

Noticing her commotion, I stated, “Don’t go anywhere, friend. This will only take a moment.”

I left to slaughter the six cult members.

It was then Forest Savior and Outback came out of the woods seeing Night Wish and freed her.

“How did you two?” Night Wish asked.

Outback replied, “It was easy really. We overheard everything yall said in the spa. Not to mention The Order was bright enough to use candles in the night as they retreated back to their temple. Real bunch of geniuses in that pack.”

“We have to get Night Wing and get out of here before Rainbow Moon notices I’m gone.”

I, on the other hoof was tending to my followers with a slice of Double Rainbow’s Knife to their necks. They didn’t even fight back. They knew it was coming. It was their moment of glory.

I entered a room and found Night Wing secured to an altar, obviously they were preparing to sacrifice him to me, their deity.

“Who are you?” Night Wing asked.

“I’m here to save your ass, lover boy.” I stated. “You’re lover has arrived.”

Night Wing shouted, “You’re not my lover! I’m with Rainbow Heart not you, you creep! You’re nothing but a freak of nature.”

Clearly, Night Wing did not realize that I was Rainbow Heart, just in a different form. Night Wing didn’t recognize that Rainbow Heart was Rainbow Moon.

This upset me a lot. I clenched my teeth, my blood boiling and my lungs breathing heavily. In my rage, I knocked over a ceremonial altar nearby, many items on it flew all over the place, including an athame, wand, chalice, cauldron, lamp, broom, and candles.

“You will love me!” I barked. “For now, you lack understanding and comprehension.”

I left Night Wing tied up on the altar, knowing that Night Wish would be along to save him momentarily. There was a reason why I brought her, and she would not disappoint me. I feared that Night Wing might not recognize me, but I knew Night Wish would bring him around to me.

I continued forward going from room to room looking for any more members. I saw one dart away and fired a rainbow blast from my horn striking the pony who got hurt and fell to the ground dead, or so I thought. It was the leader and he was feigning death by playing possum. I fell for it. When I left the room continuing the search for more cult members to slaughter, he got up and limped out the out of the temple, going to the tombs behind the temple.

Still going through the temple. I entered another room. There was a cult member there who was wearing a different cloak. It did not wear their normal cloak, which was distinctive. The usual cloak was Rainbow Moon’s breastplate symbol was on the sides of their black cloaks, where there cutie marks would be on the clothing. The symbol was a yin and yang symbol with a sun on the left white side and a moon on the right black side for dots and the yin and yang circular symbol was surrounded by a round rainbow. Instead it was wearing It is wearing a rainbow cloak with a “0” written on the back of it in gold and silver.

I asked, “What are you?”

0 (Zero) replied, “I am your destined lover.”

I informed, “I have a love interest.”

0 “I have everything you could ever want. I am biologically pure.”

The pony took off the cloak being naked. Rainbow, otherwise known in The Order of Rainbow Moon, as, “0,” was a hermaphrodite pony, having both genders. It was found by The Order in a small tribe in Equestria, and was an order member. It was a gift to Rainbow Moon to serve as his slave and sidekick. It was named, “Rainbow.” It had a full female functional body with working male genitalia as well. It was a black earth pony with orange hair and mane with orange eyes. Its cutie mark was a rainbow.

I circled around the pony inspecting its body.

I stated, “You’re mindless. You are of no use to me. You’re just a body.”

0 informed, “I am yours to fulfill all of your appetites and to be married to you, a gift from The Order.”

I commented, “I have no inventions of that, but I could use a sidekick. Follow me.”

The pony followed me putting its cloak back on. I let It tag along with me. I might need the help.

It started to storm heavily all of a sudden.

“That is not a good sign.” I stated, “Nature brings its storm. But why? There is no cause for this. Nature is unnaturally out of balance.”

Night Wing was saved shortly later by Night Wish, Forest Savior, and Outback from his chains. Night Wish explained everything to him. The gist of it being that In order to save Night Wing, Rainbow Heart transformed himself into Rainbow Moon, which is what The Order wanted. The ponies fled into the Everfree Forest.

On there way to the Everfree Forest, they notice the leader, wounded badly. Night Wish stopped to watch what he was going, while summoning with her hoof for the others to head into the forest. It was understood that she would catch up.

The leader was still alive, the rest were killed. The leader was injured but not fatally. The unicorn stood before a pile of pony bodies she recognized as the Dark Doom Gang members. They had piled the bodies outside above the graveyard that rested behind the temple. The Dark Doom Gang’s souls were stored in the sacred special crystal from the Crystal Empire, which the leader wore. It was a necklace on a black string that the leader of the cult had. He took it off of himself.

“Rainbow Moon has delivered us from the evils of Equestria. The Death Alicorn will rise and try to destroy it. I summon you, the Death Alicorn to do battle. Rainbow Moon will save Equestria forever.” 1 shouted out loud.

The Order Leader, 1, with a flash of lightning streaking through the sky and the crash of thunder, jammed the crystal on his necklace into Poison Heart’s dead body, which was on top of the pile. A dark void surrounded the pile of dead ponies. The Death Alicorn was raised using the souls of the Dark Doom Gang, which included Poison Heart, Storm Cloud, Onyx, Black Widow, Skull & Crossbones, and Storm Watch by the leader of The Order of Rainbow Moon.

Night Wish knocked 1 out from behind. She took the necklace, thinking it can be used against Rainbow Moon, since it apparently had the unique ability to store souls. She rushed after the other ponies to hide. She did not want to be present for the battle that was about to occur.

The dark void that surrounded the pile of dead Dark Doom Gang members turned into one black mass seeping into the ground. The Death Alicorn came out of the ground with an earthquake and the ground shaking and splitting, along with a lightning flash and a thunder explosion. Its tentacles were flailing in the air, and it let out a booming roar. The ground at a graveyard also released the ancient souls from the cemetery to add to the Death Alicorn’s power, being absorbed into the creature.

The Death Alicorn was black with bone wings, tentacles flailing from his back, a pony skull bone helmet surrounded his head, and it had one long skeleton like horn along with bone armor protecting his body in some places resembling the lunar guard attire. Its cutie mark was a tombstone. Some spirits of ponies floated around him like an orbiting satellite around the earth, but most of all the souls infused themselves into the body form. A few of the souls would fly into and out of him. The Death Alicorn had appeared.

The earthquake had gotten my attention. I looked outside from a balcony with 0 next to me, and I saw The Death Alicorn.

I angrily stated, “So you deceive me, heretic.” I added, “I knew you were up to something. Looks like I got a battle on my hooves.”

I jumped onto the railing of the balcony and fired a rainbow blast from my horn, striking the Death Alicorn. It looked up at me and threw scythes at me. I dodged the attack, going airborne. The creature soon followed. I sensed the presence of the Dark Doom Gang within the creature. I sensed danger around me and dodged, avoiding an attack.

I spun around and teleported behind the beast, firing a discharge from my horn both at the Death Alicorn’s face from the front and then at his butt when I transported behind him. The face blast missed, but the butt bullet did not.

The Death Alicorn flew close to me and responded with a tentacle attack that had green tentacles. I countered with my own tentacle spell, they were rainbow in colored. The tentacles were equally matched.

We exchanged blows back and forth. But it wasn’t long before I won’t the fight. The creature fell from the air and crashed into the Everfree Forest. I discharged a massive rainbow ball from my horn that struck the ground where he fell, destroying everything there. I highly doubled any beast could survive that.

I returned and picked up zero, we teleported to my lair in Ponytown. The cult leader lived and escaped to Bucktown. If there were any ponies that survived in Ponytopia, the madness spell on Ponytopia was released after The Order members were killed, except the leader.
