More Than You Thought

"So, um, do we walk back up the slide or... or what?" Fluttershy asked her friends.

"No," replied Rainbow, "me and you can fly, remember?"

"Oh, yeah, right." The two pegasi took off and disappeared up the slide.

That left Twilight, Rarity and Applejack alone in the party room, wondering how they could get out.

"I know!" Twilight almost shouted, her voice echoing around the cave. "It's so simple! How could I have missed it-"

Rarity cut her off.

"Twilight, if your plan is that easy, can't you tell us already?"

"We're unicorns." Rarity had a look on face that said very clearly, I already knew that.

"Not all of us," Applejack pointed out.

"I meant me and Rarity."

"Oh. What sort of plan is that anyway, Twi? Also, I thought you were an Alicorn. Wings, remember?"

"We can teleport!" and the over excited alicorn disapeared in a sparkly purple cloud.

Rarity followed, and soon Applejack was left alone in Pinkie Pie's party room, staring at the two shimmering clouds of magic, one purple, one blue, and wondering, how am I gonna get out of here? The earth pony looked around for anything that might help her escape.

"Confetti, balloons, streamers, party hats, Gummy..." AJ mumbled to herself. "Wait. Gummy?!" She turned around, and there, sitting on a huge box of gumballs, was Pinkie Pie's pet alligator.

"So," Applejack started, because maybe, just maybe, Gummy would know the way out of here. "Do you know how to get out of this party room?"

"Congratulations friend of Pinkie Pie! You are pony number 6,843 to have asked me that! No, just kidding. You're pony number 2. The only other time somepony's asked was when Pinkie re-organized this room last summer and she forgot where everything was. Seriously though, if you want to get out, go straight until you get to the box of gummy worms, the sour kind that taste like cherry. Then you turn left and pick up the tub of blue cake icing. Go back to the box of gummy worms, and keep going straight until you see the confetti swimming pool. Jump off the diving board, and go to the bottom where you should find a trap door. Go through it and you should see another door that says "EXIT." But that's gaurded by my cousin. He's an alligator too. His name is Pizza. Pizza's kind of a picky eater, and he only eats blue cake icing, or red, or yellow, but he's in more of a blue mood today. Anyway, if you give it to him, he'll let you through, and you'll end up in Sugarcube Corner, next to the milkshake maker. Oh! I forgot you needed the Gummy To Pony Translator to understand me. Sorry."

Applejack watched as Gummy hopped off his box, waddled across the room, pulled a strange device out of a box, and started talking into it?

"Congratulations friend of Pinkie Pie!" he began. AJ followed his directions.

"go straight until you get to the box of gummy worms, the sour kind that taste like cherry. No! Those are gummy bears. And they taste like grape. Go back 3 steps. Good! Now turn left. I said, grab the blue icing, not the orange one!" Gummy facehoofed. (or whatever alligators do). As she walked towards the confetti swimming pool, Applejack thought, "Wow, Pinkie has one smart alligator!"

Applejack was not suprised when she reached the confetti swimming pool. She just jumped in and thought, "this is why nopony questions Pinkie Pie."

Swimming in confetti felt weird. It was like swimming in a combination of jello and rock candy. And it smelled like...donuts and balloons. "How can something possibly smell like donuts and balloons?"
