It was a clear night in Ponyville, as Twilight was getting ready for bed in her castle, she just had a day where she & her friends went for a picnic, only to ended up with giant ants showing up. When she got back home she just sat down catching up on her reading. Spike had already gone to bed with his little Rarity doll, which Twilight thought was really cute.
Wow, that such was an crazy day. Who knew that giant ants could be so friendly. Twilight thought to herself with a slight giggle about the day's events.
When she she was about to go to bed herself, Twilight thought she'd felt something with her horn. This was a strange feeling, she has this sort of feeling she always gets when something unnatural is nearby, something that should not exist in Equestria.
Hello, is anyone there? Come on out, I wont hurt you. Twilight said as she got up and started to wonder around the main throne-room. As she walked to one of the large doors, she had that strange feeling again, but this time she also heard something, a sort of hissing sound. Twilight was starting to feel really scared
Spike, is that you? If it is, this is not funny, you're....starting to scare me. She said as she was trying to talk to the sound, thinking it was Spike. But there was no-one around. She soon went to Spike's room to see if it was him, but she sees that Spike is in his bed sleeping. She smiled, knowing that Spike is safe & sound and not messing with Twilight. She returned to the throne-room when she had the feeling again, but this time it was more painful then it had been before. Her horn is now glowing a purple and black light, As Twilight looked up from the pain, she saw something that she never saw there before. It was a large patch of pure darkness in a corner of the room that looked like a giant shadow.
What's going on? Why is this happening? Twilight began to ask herself as she was trying to progress what is going on, but then she heard the sound again, but this time it was a voice. A strange voice, like nothing she had heard before.
Greetings Princess Twilight-Sparkle, a real pleasure to finally meet your acquaintance. The voice said from the shadow as Twilight just stood there in fear, it was a polite, intelligent voice, but it sound like a insectoid male Changeling but it was more mechanical sounding, almost robotic while organic at the same time. Then Twilight saw something in the shadow, a pair of glowing red-eyes staring back at her. The fear inside her, grew even more. Then, something, slowly came out of the shadow, something that Twilight had never seen before or since. he was much taller then her, with an almost humanoid shape but his body was like a living, shadowy form like a robe with four, bizarre unearthly eyes seeming moving and squirming in what looks like black liquid. It also had what looked like wires coming out of the back of his head and he had a single, red spider-like arm that appeared from out of his black body. He also had red fangs then grinned while his eyes still glowed red.
Twilight froze in fear, staring at a creature unlike anything she'd seen before, she felt something dark in her guest. He felt the kind of power this creature possessed, it was dark, monstrous, evil. Far beyond Nightmare-Moon, Discord, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra and even Lord Tirek put together in terms of both power, and evil. Then she took her courage, and spoke to him.
Sir, I'd like to know, who are you and what are you doing here? Please tell me, just who are you? Twilight asked in a slightly panicked way, as the being spoke again.
Oh, how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Lord Destruction, leader of a little group I call, SHADOW He said as he introduced himself in a calm sounding tone to his voice. Twilight's eyes widened in shock on just learning her guest's name.
Destruction........I.... I've read about you in a book about the greatest villains of all time on day, years ago. You are an otherworldly entity, a monster who can travel freely to other worlds without any kind of magic to aid you. You've massacred millions of innocent people, destroyed & conquered billions of worlds, all of this to rule all of Creation itself and remake it in your own, twisted image. So, why are you here in my universe? Demanded Twilight with tears starting to appear in her eyes.
Destruction paused for a moment until he give an answer.
As an experiment He said, still in his calm tone as he continues to speak to her.
An experiment? What do you mean by an experiment? Asked Twilight, puzzled by Destruction's answer. Then he gave her his reasons why he said "experiment".
You see my dear, while your kind still dables in your primitive magic, my race the SHADOW-Kaijin use technology & science to achieve our goals. The reason why I think of my conquest as an experiment is so I can collect...genetic samples for my research into creating the perfect living-weapons through bio-engineering, cybernetics and robotics. You can probably tell by now, my army is quite large, filled with mutants & robots of all kinds my dear, they can do things you would not believe are possible. And your universe is abundant with many lifeforms for my research. There have been worlds however, that did not have the best samples I needed for my work, so I just had my forces wiped them out. There was one in particular that was just boring, inhabited by humanoid versions of the ones here. Destruction said as he explained his reasoning, boasting like a proud father about his children, but Twilight was shock at that last part he said.
What..........do you mean Equestria High-school? She asked quietly with more tears in her eyes.
Oh yes, sure they fought back but in the end, they all fell at my feet He proclaimed. While Twilight shifted from fear to pure rage.
You....you....YOU MONSTER!!! They have done nothing to you or your kind, and you just...killed them all, without any care for their lives!! As Twilight yelled as the thought of her human friends in that universe being killed by this unearthly demon. But as she was charging up her magic, shadowy clawed-hands came up from the ground and grabbed her legs and her horn, leaving Twilight both angry and afraid at the same time. What was this, some form of magic she thought to herself, but then she realized what this was. This was a power that only Destruction and others of his kind can do, the ability to manipulate and control all shadows and pure darkness at will and mold them into any form he wants, almost by pure instinct rather by thought. And with that Destruction was right in front of her, their faces very close to each other. Now it was Twilight's turn to say something to him.
I want to give you a little warning Destruction, if you lay a claw on anypony here, me, my friends or even Princess Celestia herself will put an end to both you and your little organization. How dare you treat living things like your personal playthings to do whatever you want with. I love all of my friends, and I will protect them with even my life without a single thought, and they will do the same for me and we will take down every single abomination of nature you have to stop you . That's something a monster like you would never understand, LOVE and it's more powerful then your technology. We will fight you, and we will win. What do you have to say about that huh? Proclaimed Twilight with a small smile on her face, but Destruction just smirked at that statement.
Brave words Princess, but that's all they are, WORDS, if you think you stand a chance against SHADOW, then I have three simple little words to say to that, Bring...It...On. You are more then welcome to try your very best against me. But I promise, in the end, you and all your little pony friends......WILL ALL DIE!!!!!! And there is nothing you can do to stop it. You will be fighting a war that your can not win, you pathetic little...fool Destruction states as he creates another shadow-claw and thrusts it at Twilight's body, but just as it was about to hit, she wakes up screaming in her bed with a cold sweat and tears in her eyes. She then realizes, the whole thing was a nightmare. She then grabs a nearby stuffed animal on her bed, and hugs it tight. All of the sudden Spike came in Twilight's bedroom, still holding his Rarity doll.
Twilight, what's the matter. I've heard screaming from your room, are you alright? Asked a very worried Spike, then Twilight just stared at the little baby dragon in tears. She then grabbed him, a gave him a hug as Spike was confused about whats going on with her.
Oh Spike, I had a nightmare, there was this...monster and he was planning to kill everyone we ever cared about. I was so scared. Could you stay with me tonight? Asked Twilight, as she finally started to cry into Spike's shoulder.
Sure Twilight, everything's going to be alright. Spike said as he tried to comfit the young Alicorn princess who had the most terrifying dream of her life. And as he was doing so, he'd thought he could hear the faint sound of laughter in a sinister sounding tone aswell as Twilight's crying. Spike was blissfully unaware that Twilight met and stared into the face of something alien, something....truly evil. and as they were about to go to sleep, Twilight could not help but to hear what sounded, like laughter deep within the very back of her mind as she worries, that this was a foe.....she could not..defeat.
Hehehehehehe...hahahahaha....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
