The Beginning
"Hey there little one! Welcome to Ponyville." The nurse whispered. The nurse gently carried the baby unicorn to her mother. "Meet your new baby girl!" The nurse laid the baby in Bailey's arms. "Oh she's beautiful!" She lightly kissed her new little girl on her forehead. "What should we name her honey?" Bailey asked looking over at her husband sitting in the corner. "I don't care." Jesse muttered glaring at the bundle of "joy" that was in his wife's arms. Bailey felt like she had been punched in the gut when he said those hateful words. "Well.....I-I think her name should be Abigail....." She managed to choke out. "Whatever. I'm leaving." Jesse groaned and left the room. Bailey looked down at baby Abby and cried. "I'm so sorry Abigail." She then got up and went to Ms. Mary's Orphanage.

"Queen Chrysalis! Queen Chrysalis!" A changeling gasped out kneeling before the Queen. "What is so important that you had to interrupt my plans?" The Queen demanded. "My apologies but one of the eggs are hatching early!" The changeling apologized. "Bring it to me. Now." Chrysalis sent him away. A few moments later.... The changeling cam running back to the Queen with the egg. He sets it down in front of the queen and steps back. The egg cracked a little more and a piece of the shell fell off. A baby changeling popped its head out the top of the egg and blinked. The rest of the egg shattered and the baby fell over and started giggling. Chrysalis glared at her new subject. "Wait a minute.........Where are its wings?" Chrysalis looked confused. "Has this ever happened before Queen?" The changeling asked. "No it hasn't. Send it away. It's useless to me." Chrysalis turned and walked back to her planning room. The changeling picked up the baby, wrapped it in a blanket, and put it in a basket. After doing so, he took it to Ponyville. Once he arrived, he walked around the small town and found it. Ms. Mary's Orphanage. He sat the basket next to another baby that was next to the mailbox.

Mary gave Mrs. Cake her 2 bits and took her muffin. "Bye Mrs. Cake! See you around!" Mary waved goodbye and left Sugarcube Corner. Mary held the bag in her mouth and started digging around in her purse for her keys. She was just about to put the key in the door when she heard crying. She looked toward the sound and saw two babies on the ground next to each other. One was an earth pony and the other was a unicorn. The earth pony was white with cotton candy pink hair and the unicorn was beige with dark magenta hair. Mary gasped and knelt in front of the baskets. The earth pony's name was Abigail and the unicorn had no name. "I'm going to name you Seena." She told the unicorn baby. She then quickly unlocked the door and took the babies in.
