What's the deal with train food
A valley, is shown below the shining sun. Serene, beautiful land which is only marred by a loud train putting along the tracks and a loud man "MA'AM! Where is our inflight entertainment?"
"For the last time sir this a train! There is no inflight entertainment." said a mildly attractive and annoyed stewardess. She turned to the man whose stature can be described as short and scrawny, with reddish brown hair ,dark honey colored eyes wearing a maroon beanie ,hoodie, a white T-shirt, and blue jeans. "I'm so bored though!" he whined " I've already stole all the candy I could from small impressionable young children, started a rebellion against the trolley lady, sold out said rebellion for twenty bits, found what I thought was the holy grail which only turned out to be a bong, and started kicking the seat in front of me while crying for thirty minutes. By the way, I think the guy that was in front of me went into a coma from all this you may need to get him to the hospital after I get dropped off.... please."
* forty-five minutes later*
"GET THE HELL OUT OF THE TRAIN!" the stewardess yelled out throwing him and his luggage out with much excitement
"I think she was totally into me." the overly optimistic man said rubbing off the dust from himself he reached into hoodie pocket revealing a letter with a broken seal which looked similar to a sun.
"Congratulations to you ,Cloud Sleeper, have been selected in a new student study program for a social experiment more details to come when you come to my office after orientation have a nice summer."

"Well I hope it doesn't involve writing. I hate writing." Cloud walking from the train stop to a trail through a forest that held a bounty of small animals and plant life. After ten minutes he stopped at the top of the hill taking in the wondrous view. A large building with a glass dome reflecting light off the sun giving it a almost crystalline appearance with smaller buildings surrounding it and mountains in the background circling the campus as if they were guarding the school against the woes of the outside world.
Approaching the school he noticed how many people were here. Alumis, Sky children, and even some fellow Earth-kin. "Damn" murmured Cloud "I wonder how different college is from public schools?" " NO STOP I WAS PLAYING AROUND!" screamed an Earth-kin "Nope still the same crap as before." sighed Cloud dropping his bags down and rushed towards the screams.
"Come on I just said your mother seems like a very pretty and respectable woman." The Earth-kin tried convince what seemed to be a burly Sky child " And I'm telling you that my mother is not pretty but sexy vixen!!!" Said the burly Sky child "Yeah his mother has an ass that won't quit! God bless her beckoning bosom." Said one of his friends " HELL YEAH!" The sky child high fived his friend in approval. "I'm very scared and confused!" The befuddled Earth-kin exclaimed
"YO!" Cloud shouted "PUT HIM DOWN!" The Sky Child looked over in Cloud's direction and frowned " Who the in hell said that?" He wondered hoping his constant drug abuse wasn't catching up to him " Look down" Cloud said irritated with his size " Okay" The sky child smirked "you'll do!" He quickly grabbed him letting go of his first victim " The name's Ab Grinder I find it polite to introduce myself to fresh meat and don't bother with yours because your mouth is going to be full with dirt in bit." A collective sigh begun to resonate with his posse. Turning around with an incredulous look he simply said "What?" Being the good friend an Alumis stepped up and, said "Boss, we get it, you've been taking a creative writing class, and we're glad that you've found an outlet that doesn't involve knocking skulls. But..." " But what Axis?" Ab inquired with an irritated look on his face " You've just started a couple of weeks ago you're not going to be a wordsmith anytime soon. For instance, that was a very long threat he knows you're going to beat him just say a one liner, and be done with it. Seriously if I were him I'd be asleep."
"Nah, I'm in pants-shitting terror awaiting his fist to make sweet love to my face." Cloud interjected "Shut-up" Ab said to Cloud then turning to his friend "and how dare you! Grammar Pony said I was doing great!" "Yeah for a guy who never wrote seriously before I mean come on." said Axis ,but looking at his friend's face contorting to a frown he started comforting him saying "Hey I'm not saying to stop you are getting better. You'll be wise cracking hoodlum you dreamed of being." "You mean that?" Ab choked emotions running through him " Why else would you be in college for?" Axis questioned soothingly "Man you're strong! You've been holding me up this entire time. Kind depressing when you think about it. The security of this campus is kind of shitty." Cloud said "Well no need to put off any longer." Ab said preparing what is sure to be a powerful right hook quickly thinking of a way to get out of this mess. "Hey" Cloud said "wait a second I have to tell you something!" "Booo! Punch him! Kick him in the nuts! Hurry up I need to see blood before class! JUST FUCK ALREADY!" Ab's group of morally bankrupt friends jeered. Ab just smiled at his friends calming them down relaxing his fist looked at him and spat "Well?" " A guy from ....class .... 2-E" Cloud started "oh shit I hope this works" " said you were gay." "Uhhhh....." Ab sighed " they're gonna die." Releasing Cloud from his powerful grip landing on his ass "Come on men we got things to see and people to do. Also beat the crap out of that guy in 2-E." Ab said with an authority in his voice befitting of a king.
With that group of delinquents out of the way looked towards the Earth-kin that he stood up for noticing he was holding out his hand "Hey" he said in a nervous voice "M-my name is Caramel." Looking him over he simply had brown T-Shirt, jeans, and white sneakers. Though looking at his face he is what the people would call a pretty boy brown hair and deep blue eyes. His stature is kind of lanky. "Cloud" he responded " if you didn't catch it." "Thanks for stopping Ab from rearranging my face" Caramel smiled feeling unsure what else to say "No prob" Cloud stated "anyway where do we get our class schedules?" "Over there by the gym it's right beside the two oak trees" Caramel pointed at a building with the two trees to his left "Well see ya!" Cloud shouted grabbing his belongings and started walking to the gym upon which he got his classroom assignment, time for orientation, and map of the school. Following the directions he entered the dorms got to his room number 397 inside was a cozy apartment with a kitchen, living room, and a small bedroom with an already made bed. Setting his belongings to the side he fished out a alarm clock setting it for an hour before orientation to start closing his eyes for a quick nap.
*A couple hours later*
Cloud was walking towards his home room for orientation and saw Caramel walking in front of him in the same direction "Yo! Caramel!" Cloud shouted then, like a true spaz Caramel tripped and started fumbling around turn and noticed who was talking to him and, smiled sheepishly " Hey Cloud are you going to the same class as me?" "If it's class 2-E then yeah." Cloud said with a hint of uncertainty. "Why do I feel like I'm missing something?" "It'll be nice having a familiar face." Caramel simply said trying to make small talk "Yeah but, I'm feeling like I'm overlooking something important." Cloud exasperated "Well I don't think it's that bad. I mean it's the first day of college and it's only orientation today so don't really need to worry about much." Caramel said with much optimism
Both Cloud and Caramel took a seat in the back of the class making small talk when suddenly. *BAM* "All right who is the smart ass that made accusations of my sexuality that may or may not be true?" Ab Grinder said while storming in the classroom. "Uhhh...... What?" Ask a confused classmate "WHO CALLED ME GAY!"Ab screamed. Taking a quick scan of the class he saw two faces that looked familiar "Oh funny. It was you the whole time." Ab stated menacingly stepping toward Cloud "Uhhh" Cloud smartly retorted Ab grabbed him and said "LOVE KNOWS NO GENDER!!!" Then giving Cloud a solid right hook to the face "We here at Canterlot University is a college that promotes tolerance so much so we are intolerant to intolerance. LIVE IN PEACE!" Ab then quickly left "What was that about?" Cried an Alumis who had violet hair with a pink streak running across her hair and dazzling amethyst eyes. Cloud composing himself with a huge red mark on his left cheek said the only thing that made sense so far today "I dunno." With a shrug "What do you-" The purple haired Alumis started "Am I interrupting something?" An other Alumis whose sharp red eyes only made more pronounced with all the black in his attire and ebony hair "Yeah we are going shopping later ,and going to talk about all the cute boys." Cloud said sarcasm dripping of every word looking at this teacher he could tell his type the one who gets everything he wants with intimidation and, the right hook didn't make his mood any better. The class was dead silent looking over to the towering Alumis then looking at the shrimpy Earth-kin. The dark Alumis' look of irritation was quick being replaced by calm ,but cocky smirk. Without warning he reached to chalkboard quickly plucked a piece of chalk threw it at Cloud hitting him straight in the head. "Class, we won't be having Orientation my name is Sombra only refer to me as that or professor. Now introductions are out of the way I want to see if you simpletons have at least the basic understanding of the human species but more importantly the three races." Sombra said his words carrying boredom with a slight hint of aggression as if he is daring you to challenge him "Oh oh oh" the purple Alumis from earlier was shaking her hand feverishly "Yes, the purple monkey." Sombra drawled "Twilight." She corrected "I don't care." Sombra sighed "The three races are Alumis, Sky Children, and Earth-kin. Alumis are defined by a stone in the middle of their forehead which looks like a gem. Each has a different color depending on the person. The amazing thing is that they have unique connection to the magical plane known as Werthrome or the birthplace of all magic ,as many scientists speculate, due to the connection Alumis are naturally able to conjure up a specific class of magic called Arcanis which is typically categorized as levitation, or teleportation. Sky Children are as shown able to fly due to their wings. Can change weather when they focus their magic. Sky Children have the toughest skin out the three races many speculate this is an evolutionary occurrence due to crashes made by flight from each generation also many have a resistance to extreme cold or hot weather and lighting strikes. Finally, Earth-kin identified as having no wings or gem many scholars are debating where they actually tap into their magic ,but most of them agree that it is in their heart in which their magic resides which is only supported by Earth-kin's great endurance, and resistance to poisons, and diseases. Also, Earth-kin are unique due to a deep ,and still not understood, connection to nature to harness their power they have to discover what aspect of nature they can harness even then they need to learn how to control it which still a concept still undiscovered leaving many Earth-kin not being able to control most of their magic." Twilight's monologue concluded
"HEY BOY!" Sombra focusing his attention on Cloud "what was she rambling on about?" "Huh... Why are you asking me don't you pay attention to your own class?" Cloud questioned angrily "Because you weren't listening." Sombra snapped
" I was so listening!" Cloud cried indignantly "Prove it!" Sombra challenged "Uhhh....Uhhhh.......Blah Blah Blah I'm a freaking nerd." Cloud
tried thinking it sound like something that sounded like this Twilight would say. "Hey!" Twilight cried out embarrassed.
Looking at Cloud with an intensity of agonizing loathing for him at that point Sombra found the only thing to do as a teacher " 50,000 word essay about the three races on my desk by next Monday written." "Shit" Cloud mumbled. Sombra not missing a beat " Add another 50,000." Cloud refused to speak any further as much as he is detested this guy he hated writing more
Cloud sat through class quietly and, he was pretty sure Twilight was either pissed or, has a huge crush on him you really can never tell with girls. Class ended without further interruption Sombra kept an eye on Cloud waiting for him to slip up but, he didn't give him an inch.
Walking out the hallway Caramel caught up with Cloud " Want to go to the coffee shop? I heard they're really good." "Yeah sounds good ,but I have to meet the Headmistress for college stuff it's probably going to be boring as hell. I'll meet you later. Actually this good is time to trade numbers I'll text you when I'm done." Cloud said pulling out his phone.
* Few minutes later.*
Cloud stood in front of the headmistresses' door it was white with a gold sun crafted into the door it was a bit intimidating so he took a deep breath and, pushed the door open. He gawked at the decorations the desk looked masterfully crafted, the purple curtains look as the they were made of the finest silk, and the numerous volumes of books made it seemed like a small library. Cloud tried to look around the office with its many baubles that seemed to tell stories of greatness but, as soon as he took a step toward them a familiar voice call out behind him "YOU!"
Cloud turned around seeing it was Twilight from class he smiled and said "Yes me!" "What are you doing here?" She asked angrily. "Hey look it's my new friend" Cloud thought sarcastically "Oh you know just looking around wondering if the headmistresses knows how much of her room is a fire hazard waiting to happen." "Hey Twi you know this guy?" A rainbow haired Sky Child was behind her along with four other girls "Unfortunately." Twilight sighed "His name is Cloud he is in my basic magic defense course."
"Whether or not our meeting was fortuitous remains to be seen. Anyway why are you guys here anyway? I didn't see you on the roster." Cloud asked "What roster?" Inquired an Earth-kin with a country accent. Cloud opened his mouth to retort but a soothing voice answered before him " The roster this young man is talking about is one for a personal experiment Twilight you of all people should know this because you and your friends did this already." Looking towards the voice Cloud saw one of the most beautiful woman he ever laid eyes upon. Hair colorful hair had an ethereal look to it and, her figure could only be described as God-like but what unnerved him the most was the fact she had wings and a gem on her head. "Ascended." Cloud whispered to himself " Said to be a being of near perfection; revered members of our society. Shit, even I feel like should bow down and serve her." Cloud shook himself to focus on the conversation at hand " So what am I supposed to do I'm not exactly in the loop with your little group." Cloud snarked. Without missing a beat the Headmistress kept her soothing voice and replied" I'm sorry I was so happy to see my young students I forgot about you please forgive me if I offended you." "Ummm.... I-I-it's okay." Cloud stuttered thrown off by her demeanor "Well what is disappointing is that you are the only one to sign up for this experiment I was hoping for at least twenty more students." Celestia said " Well the letter was written in what appeared to be blood so I thought it was like a contract for my soul or something along those lines." Cloud explained " That may explain the why no one applied Luna is very old fashioned." Celestia giggled " Wait you were okay with selling your soul?" Twilight questioned " Well have you seen the tuition it's expensive as hell I figured selling my soul would be probably be about the same as paying college tuition." Cloud explained " Huh makes sense….. in a stupid way." Twilight grumbled "So just to be clear I'm not selling my soul?" Cloud asked "No my request is more tamed I want you to write reports of your college life showing what you learned I expect one report per week but do more than one I'll throw in incentives." Celestia explains "So I'll be writing?" Cloud asked "Yes." Celestia simply stated " Are you sure you are not in the market for souls?" "Suck it up." The rainbow haired sky-child exasperated " No brother I will never suck it." Cloud retorted " I'M GIRL YOU IDIOT!" The rainbow girl shouted "HOLY SHIT YOU'RE A GIRL!" Cloud shouted back he was kicked out of the door and said door shut itself a click signified the door was locked.
Looking at the door Cloud shrugged his shoulders and said "Well ain't that a kick in the ass." Then proceeded to the coffee shop Caramel was talking about
Inside the room with Celestia and the girls
"Well he was certainly an interesting fellow." Rarity said " Yeh' but whut was mor' interestin' is the Pinkie was quiet through the whole thang." AppleJack said worried for pink friend " Sorry guys I saw a boy earlier who made my kokuro go doki doki." Pinkie said "What?" Fluttershy asked in her soft voice " Sorry to interrupt this interesting conversation but there is something I want you girls to hear."
"What is it? We can beat anything you ask us to throw down." Rainbow said with a cocky grin. Celestia held a soft smile " Good keep that attitude because this whole year I'm going to be teaching you six how to fight with your element so you can help me combat most horrible, vicious monster this world has ever known" an unsettling chill has settled in the room " What?" Twilight asked with fear thick in her voice
Back with our hero who is by this point as some of can tell a little bit of an asshole called Caramel to get directions to the coffee shop when he went inside he saw Caramel by himself on the table in the corner sipping thoughtfully on his coffee. Making his way towards him Cloud called out his name " Hey Caramel this place is great!" Caramel looked at him noticing he actually hasn't bought coffee or anything really so he asked " How can you tell it's great you haven't tried any of it?" "Are you kidding me? Look at all the hipsters and bad writers here this place obviously this is a great coffee store!" Cloud explained earning him a few glares from people. After a couple of minutes of talking about classes and making dirty jokes guys usually make when there is no women around. Cloud and Caramel got up to leave but then a guy in a lab coat skinny jeans a shirt making an obscure reference that no one cares about ran through the door and went to the coffee machine and, with a haggard voice, said " For too long I have ignored and put to the wayside by you people and-" "Shut up I'm pretending I know how to play guitar!" "Yeah and I'm writing bad fanfiction!" "Also what do you mean you people?" The crowd of hipsters spoken. The mad , in both mood and sanity, scientist pulled out a flask with orange liquid and poured it into the coffee machine. A rumbling from the machine could be heard the nerd who put the liquid in the machine quickly ran away while laughing maniacally the crowd started getting fidgety and they looked at the machine with a mix of fear and curiosity. The machine suddenly exploded ,and a monster made of coffee came out ,and roared. The group of onlookers gave in to their fear and ran out of the store Cloud and Caramel tried to run away but the monster cut them off they back pedaled to the corner they were in looking to his side he saw a computer terminal that the coffee shop set up so college students didn't have bring laptops for a research paper turning back to Caramel " Hey man I have an idea can you keep it busy while I try to use the computer to call for help." Cloud him " Why not use your phone?" Caramel "It's dead." "Well you can use mine." Caramel pulled his out. Seeing this the monster shot Caramel with a torrent of coffee. Looking at his phone he saw it went blank he sighed "I still had two more payments on that. Alright I distract it you use the computer to get some help." Caramel gulped with fear in his eyes then proceeded to scream like a little girl running around the monster. Quick at a flash Cloud got on the computer and saw the desktop icon for the college's social media program going into a chat room anonymous as he didn't make a profile yet he typed out for help

"Damn communication has failed" Cloud said
"What are we going to do now." Caramel cried out in fear slowly becoming tired from dodging the monsters attacks "I don't know." Cloud looked down then saw something that turned that frown upside down "THAT'S IT!" He exclaimed going under the counter and retrieved a beige towel "SHAZAM!!" He threw it at the monster its fearsome glare turned to fear as the towel quickly absorbed it. In a manner of minutes it was gone inside the rag Cloud grabbed a bag retrieved the rag and put it in the bag "I'm saving this beauty for later." A mischievous grin adorned his face "So what happened?" Caramel asked looking like he was about to pass out "Oxiclean. You see Caramel Oxiclean cares about its customers making common household appliances into weapons in a blink of an eye." Cloud safely stayed "Uh-huh." Caramel said " well I'm going home see you Cloud." He turned around and walked shakily away toward his room. Cloud seeing no point to stay out any longer headed to his room too. Thinking about today the asshole teacher, and the coffee monster the only thing that surprised him " Still freaking out that rainbow haired person was a girl this whole time." Cloud before he closed his eyes he looked out at the window beside his bed ,and saw clouds ,in that Equestrian sky, reaching out to them with his hand and started to making gestures as if he was molding something “I could’ve…. done better. Right?”
