"Like two birdies.."

I flap my wings.

"In a nest."

I hug Ruby Roses as if we were cuddling in a nest.

"Two friends are the very best!"

We each clap each others hooves together.

"Like two berries..."

Hugs again.

"On a vine..."

Holding hooves...

"Best friends always make it shine!"

Twirl around like a star twinkling and shining...

"One!" I call.

"T-two..." Ruby staggers.

All together now...

"I really like you!" We sing in unison, as we hug.

"Thank you for singing me the best friend song. It makes me feel a little better." Ruby hesitantly whispers. I pull the quilt on her bed up over her neck. Her little green eyes peer up at mine, as ill as her body. I stroke her head. All I can do is stare back at her, scared and nervous for her life and her existence.
