Rainbow's Best Friend
My OTP Story
Rainbow Dash ran while waving at Caramel "Hey! Caramel! Wanna play some basket ball?"
The Dusty-golden haired male smiled brightly "Yeah, Sounds like fun Dashie-Pants."
The tan girl pouted "Don't call me that!" she shouted, throwing the orange tattered ball at his face.
"He- OW!" he whined and followed the smirking girl, she pivoted and chuckled at the red-faced male who shook lightly in anger. "I'm gonna beat your butt at this game!"
he called after her, she flipped her hair sassily in response and he scoffed.
They soon reached the cemented court and Dashie grabbed the orange ball, sprinting around the glaring male, dribbling the ball, before making a perfect shot. Caramel dashed at the ball and snached it up and attempting to show off. Dashie, being the sporty girl she is, quickly grabbed the ball and threw it back towards the basket, nearly missing it by a few inches. Suddenly a pink flash ran across the court and caught the ball.
Rainbow sighed and ran over to where the flash had stopped. "Pinkie! I was in the middle of a game!"
"Sorry Dashie," The pink-haired girl said. "You know how much I love playing!"
At that, Rainbow blushed. Caramel ran over and looked at Rainbow's face and laughed. He knew she had liked Pinkie Pie. Caramel pushed Rainbow towards Pinkie and they kissed for only the slightest moment. Rainbow leaned back towards Caramel and smacked him.
"Why the heck did you do that!?" She screamed.
"I didn't really mind it...It was nice..." Rainbow heard Pinkie say in a soft tone. No one had heard her say something like that before.
"Um...Uh...I have to go!" Caramel said, letting the girls have their private time. He left and the girls stared at each other for a moment.
"He-he! Stop staring at me you weirdo!" Pinkie giggled. She was also blushing.
"Um...Do you wanna...Like..Go out or something.....?" Rainbow stuttered as she blushed. She never felt like this. It was like clouds were fogging her mind and butterflies were flying in her stomach.
"Of course Dashie!!" Pinkie said excitedly. "How about you pick me up a around 5:30, okay? We can go to Sugarcube Cafe!"
"Um...Yeah...Sure..." Rainbow said.

"Honey! You're going to be late for your date!" Rainbow dash's father called from the kitchen. Rainbow had put on a rainbow dress she had from Rarity, one of her other friends. She had a gold laurel wreath in her hair that shone in the light. She had her hair in a bun that led into a long ponytail.
"I'm ready!" Rainbow called down from her room. Her parents gasped as they saw her tomboy daughter in girly clothes. The pondered how much willpower it would take for her to wear that. They hugged her and wished her luck.

Rainbow dash stood outside of Pinkie's house. She had knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. A woman that Dash recognized as one of the owners of Sugarcube Cafe was standing in the doorway.
"Oh, you must be Rainbow Dash! My dear Pinkie has told us so much about you! Tell my husband that you two are on a date once you get there!" And with that, she led Rainbow into the house where Pinkie was playing with two small babies.
"Hey Pinkie!" Dash said. She saw that pinkie was wearing a pink party dress with bows that looked like candy in her hair. She also had her hair in a ponytail, but it was extremely poofy and it had blue beads all through it.
"HEY DASHIE!" Pinkie yelled as she saw Rainbow. She hugged her tight and kissed her on the cheek. "Thought you forgot about our date! You're very late!"
"But you told me to come at 5:30...I'm early!" Dash said surprised.
"Oh yeah!" Pinkie said. "Well let's go!"
They walked outside and made their way to the Cafe. They told Mr.Cake about their date and they were escorted to a private table.
"So--" Dash started as pinkie set down a milkshake with two straws in it.
"Here! Take a drink!"
They both drank and Pinkie started humming a romantic tune. Suddenly some music played that was the same tune as the song Pinkie was humming. Pinkie stood up and grabbed Dash. She knew where this was going and she grabbed Pinkie around the waist and pulled her in for a kiss. they stood for a while, still kissing, until The needed to come up for air. Pinkie hugged dash as they walked over to the counter and paid for the milkshake.
They walked out of the restaurant and went to the boardwalk. They heard the crashing of the waves as they hugged each other.
"I love you Dash..."
"I love you too..."
They walked onto the beach and sat down. Listening to the gentle crash that the waves made. Pinkie rested her head on Dash's lap as Dash lay on some rocks. She made waving motions with her hand to match the waves. They breathed the sea air and all was silent. They watched dolphins as happy as themselves, swimming together in harmony. All was great... All was wonderful...
Pinkie got up off of Dash's lap and gave her a kiss. They sat their for what seemed like hours, embraced in each other, just feeling safe and secure in the arms of each other. Soon they had to go home. They had one last kiss before they said goodnight. Soon every night, they would have the same wonderful experience.
