Five pony years or so ago, Anon, a man from earth, found himself in Equestria as an earth mare! Since then he’s settled into Equestria, but retained his separate identity. Unfortunately his travels have recently taken him to a little town where the ponies are less accepting of his different nature than in the rest of Equestria. Now a captive of their ideologue and ‘leader among Equals’ Starlight Glimmer, he is without his mark and has to struggle to hold onto his different nature and resist her attempts to convert him to just another village mare.
