Twilight's Last Scientific Help to Ponykind
It was amazing. All of her hard work, her work that had lead up to this very last day. The last day of her standing on this tough ground. She stared at her invention, her beautiful invention to save the lives of all the ponies of Ponyville. Within this invention, ponies could reproduce, live, play and learn. Nothing could pierce or destroy this invention, and she was very proud of it. Twilight Sparkle had done it. Even on her last day, she was going to contribute to her hometown.
A pain shot through Twilight's chest, causing the lavender Alicorn to collapse onto the floor of her library. The cold, wooden floor. The floor where she had lived and grown, where she and her friends had played and learned about friendship. Twilight shared a connection with the ground, a connection concluding in the passed hearts of her five friends. She wanted to die on that ground, for it would connect her with those she cared about most when she passed.
Pinkie Pie had carried on laughter as her last day rolled by. She was right there, right on that wooden floor. She had thrown her friends a 'Bye-Bye Pinkie Pie' party, put the party was crashed when Pinkie collapsed and stopped breathing. The pink earth pony wasted her last breath with a true, meaningful laugh. Twilight still sighed when she thought about Pinkie Pie, laughing as she passed away. A true laugh. A laugh that actually meant something, though Twilight had yet to find out.
Her others friends had died at their own homes. Twilight wasn't with them, nor could she hug them gently and tell them goodbye and good luck. She wasn't sure if Pinkie, the first one to go, had inspired them to laugh away the pain and to die happy. Twilight smiled a true, genuine smile. A REAL smile. She hadn't smiled in pure joy and bliss ever since Pinkie passed away. Twilight suddenly felt the pain again, and slowly, her eyes began to close gently.
A memory of something she had promised to do for the people of Ponyville shot through her head. Her eyes blinked, and slowly, she reached for the remote control. The little green button was set and ready. If she pressed it, her whole plan would take place. But of course, she needed to leave a note to the ponies of Ponyville.
Dear Ponies of Ponyville,
I loved you all too much. Too much and so much that, while I died, I launched into action to further protect you. Don't ever press the red button, for the plan will then finish itself. However, if you do, press the green one again to protect Ponyville once more. Take care of this remote, for it will be the savior of many innocent lives.
Sincerely,
Twilight Sparkle
Twilight struggled to grab the grey remote. She stared at it, hesitantly debating if it was healthy or not to trap Ponyville in her latest invention, an invincible bubble.
