Corvalius Dakenistaire has been fighting to defend the weak and innocent for most of his life, fighting against all manner of evils and supernatural entities. Living through so much conflict, pain, and hate has affected him in ways that have changed who he is as a person. Now he finds himself and his friends in a world that is vastly different from what he knows, surrounded by strange creatures that fear and distrust them and that he is not quite willing to trust either. As Equestria is threatened by evils both natural to it and otherworldly Corvalius and his companions will have to defend the ponies from enemies new and old, showing them the power of Darkness and the strength of the Son of The Stars.
