Chapters Serene Luna slowly wakes up. She finds herself in a small dim stone jail cell with a iron door that had a small window. She suddenly shivered, realizing how cold it was in the cell, the stone floor only making it worse. Luna started screaming her sisters name. After what seemed like forever, she got a response, but not one she wanted to hear.
A loud scream bounced off the walls of the dungeon into Serene's ears, causing all of her coat to stand on end. It was her sister screaming in pain! Her eyes widen and she begins to scream for her sister more. After 2 hours of screaming for sister, her voice went horse.
Tears soaked the stone floor as she heard her sisters cries and screams for help. Serene Luna started to use run full force at the iron door hitting it, but the door didn't budge one centimeter. She continued this till her sides were aching. Luna hit the door one more time before she collapsed on the floor out of exhaustion.
She was in there for four hours. Her voice was horse, her throat dry, and body aching. Serene Luna was hopping this was just a long nightmare, that it wasn't real, but it wasn't. Her sister's screams had stopped an hour ago, but this didn't stop her from trying to reach her. Luna curled up into a ball, giving up, wanting this all to be over.
She then saw a very small portal forming on wall with the door, the portal just big enough for her to crawl through. She slowly got up, her body aching all over and hobbled to the portal. She then looked through and saw it just led to the other side of the wall. Then Serene Dash's scream began again, giving Luna enough energy to run the fastest she could in the direction of the screaming, sliding into walls in the process.
Once she reached the door in which the screaming was coming from, Serene Luna looked in only to see her sister on the floor with large slash marks on her back. She pushed on the door, but it didn't budge. Laughter started to illuminate the dungeon. Luna hid behind a wall as the laughter grew louder. Then two male ponies approached Serene Dash's door. One then proceeded to unlock it.
"Are you going to finally talk?" The other scoffed at Serene Dash. This pissed off Luna. She lunged at the to ponies and grabbed the keys and put her sister on her back and ran out of the cell with her sister on her back.
It was a dark and cloudy day in Phoenix. Inside the base of Squadron 3, a blue pegasus ,with light blue hair and purple eyes, flew quietly behind a light gray bat pony, that had a blue mane and blue eyes. The pegasus lands softly and slowly stalks up to the bat pony. The blue pegasus suddenly screams at the top of her lungs, "HEY SERENE LUNA!!!" The bat pony, by the name of Serene Luna, kicks behind her in self defense, hitting the pegasus straight in the stomach. When she turned around her face suddenly became blank.
"Really, just, really Serene Dash." Dash groans and rubs her stomach.
"Sorry sis, but it was kind of worth it." Dash tries to hold in a laugh as Serene Luna rolls her eyes.
"Anyways, we should really get going, I promised Divine Moon we would help her move in to her room."
"Oh yea, I forgot." They begin to walk off. Once they reached a quiet, deserted hallway, a bright blue light appears, growing larger and larger by the second. After about 10 seconds, it was as large as an average stallion. Serene Dash looked at the portal then a her sister, then back to the portal.
"We should go in."
"Wait, what?!" Serene Luna said, not believing what just came out of her sister's mouth.
"We. Should. Go. In." Serene Dash said slower.
"Sis, we don't know why its here or where it goes. It could be a trap for all we know."
"But, that's why we should go in. We need to check it out, it could hurt the other ponies or lead us to more ponies to help us."
"Or hurt us."
"Please." Serene Dash then looked at her sister with the most adorable puppy eyes.
"No."
"Please." Serene Luna sighed, knowing that she couldn't reason with her younger sister.
"Ugh, fine" Dash smiles and walks towards the blue light and looks back at her sister.
"Ready?"
"As much as I'll ever be." They walked into the portal. As soon as the two ponies entered, the portal disappeared as quickly as it appeared, leaving the hallway deserted.
A blue pegasus with a bland, gray work suit and hard hat, walked slowly by a brick wall. As she was walking, she noticed two pony bodies on a patch of dead grass. She ran to the ponies to see if they were still breathing, once she reached a hoof away, the ponies slowly got up.
"Ugh, I have a major headache" A light gray pony said with a dry voice, rubbing her head. The light blue pony looked up and saw a pony watching them and walked up to her.
"I'm Serene Dash and this is my sis-" She stopped mid sentence realizing how similar the watcher and her looked.
"I am also Serene Dash." They looked at each other for about ten seconds, which Serene Luna finally interrupted the awkward moment by coughing,
"Sup, I'm Serene Luna." The Serene Dash, who was from this place, looked at the light gray bat pony, then to her wings and the gasped.
"Y-Y-You're a bat pony, they aren't aloud here."
"What do have against bat ponies?"
"It's against the king and queen's rules."
"What do you mean king and queen?"
"King Night Star and Queen Divine Moon, they are," She looked up at a camera and then back at the ponies, "They are amazing rulers who separated the species to keep us in happy and the land peaceful." She then laughed weirdly and smiled widely. Serene Dash whispered, "Follow me, I know where we can talk." She began to walk quickly with the sisters following her.
Once they reached the inside of a bunker like house, Serene Dash attacked them with questions about their world. Phoenix's Serene Dash then asked about the place they are now. "You are in our world, Dragon Wing. The main rule here is that species can't mix, if a bat pony and pegasus had children, they would be put in prison for three years and the children are moved to their species district. Parents and children are separated after birth, even if they are the same species, so they wont feel connections if they are publicly executed."
"Wait, Publicly Executed!!!" Serene Luna yelled a little too loudly, Serene Dash quickly covered her sister's mouth with her hoof.
"Shhhh, we don't want them to know we are here."
"Who?"
"The king and queen's spies and guards. If they find you here, I will be tried for treason and you will be captured."
" So what do you exactly do?"
"Oh that's simple, I-"They were suddenly interrupted when the door was kicked down and 5 huge ponies, in full suits and ear pieces, entered and two grabbed Serene Dash and Serene Luna, while the other ponies searched the place for any more hideaways. Then another pony entered and grabbed the Serene Dash from Dragon Wing, pulling her out of the door.They tried to fight back, but the ponies were too strong.
