“So what’s this surprise, anyway?” Night Air tried to peek over Adda’s shoulder into the room beyond. “You’re being really tight-lipped about it.”
“You’ll see,” she said. She was teasing him, dangit. That meant it must be good. Night found himself tapping his hoof as he waited for her to open the door.
“C’mon,” he said, tugging on her mane. “Spill it!”
She giggled. “Alright. Take a look!” With that, she shoved the door behind her open.
Night Air’s eyes opened wide. Sitting right in the middle of the room of their condo was a huge table, absolutely groaning with food. Dozens and dozens of dishes were stacked three-high on its creaking surface. He was instantly assaulted with a veritable smorgasbord of delicious scents, creamy, savory aromas twisting around his nostrils, filling his lungs, and lifting him off his hooves. He noticed that he was drooling, and slurped it up hurriedly.
“How?” he asked. His cheeks were flushed. He noticed his stomach rumbling. He’d had a fairly big lunch, but he suddenly felt hungrier than he ever had in his life.
Adda giggled again. “I know a stallion,” she said, a grin flitting across her face. “Specifically, the resort chef. He took care of everything.”
“Wow,” Night breathed. He took a step forward. His knees felt weak.
Adda slipped one hoof around his waist. He had a feeling that she wouldn’t be able to do that by the end of the night. The thought just made his heart beat even faster. “Ready to dig in?” she asked slyly.
“You bet,” he said. He blinked. There was a muffin hovering in front of him. Adda’s magical aura surrounded it. She was grinning at him. Carefully, Night Air opened his mouth and let her slip it inside. He chomped down on it in a single bite, chewed thoughtfully, then swallowed.
Gods, it was good. So moist and delicious, so sweet. He gulped the last crumbs down, then realized that his tongue was hanging out of his mouth. He needed more.
“Good?” Adda teased.
He licked his lips. “Yeah.” Both of them had their eyes fixed on the table. Adda’s hoof lightly rubbed his belly. It was slightly fuller now, but nowhere close to filled.
“Want more?”
He nodded quickly. "I'm so hungry I think I could eat all of Canterlot."
“You sure?" she said, smirking. "Didn't sound that way when we went to that buffet in Ponyville."
"I had a big breakfast!"
Adda rolled her eyes, and lit her horn. She grinned. "Then let's see, you hungry little stallion." She levitated over two chairs, and the pair plopped themselves down happily. Adda grinned at Night Air, who was visibly drooling. “What’ll you have first?”
“Ooh,” he said. His eyes darted across the table. So many good foods! And he was so hungry, too. His stomach suddenly felt like a yawning, endless pit, just waiting to be filled. But how could he possibly choose? On reflex, his hoof darted towards a bowl of big, fluffy rolls sitting toward their side of the table. “Let’s start with those.”
“Good choice,” Adda said. Night made to reach for one of them, but she pushed his hoof down. Instead, her horn lit up again and a pair of rolls levitated over to them. “Uh-uh,” she said, teasingly. “I decide how much you eat tonight.”
“But I’m so hungry,” he whined.
“I know,” she said. “So you can help me eat it all.”
He didn’t complain. Instead, he let her feed him the roll, chomping at the warm, buttery bread as Adda’s hoof squeezed his shoulder. She ate her own, too, though she scarfed it down a little more slowly than he. When he finished, Night licked his chops, but before he had a chance to say anything there was already another roll waiting for him. And another. And another.
Eight rolls each later, both of them were feeling considerably warmed-up. “Mm,” Night said. He rubbed his belly. It still felt incredibly empty, though its growls were a bit quieter. His hoof darted to their left. “Let’s do the cheesy potato skins next.”
“Read my mind,” Adda said. The two of them scarfed those down, their appetites slowly growing to outspeed their manners. Night munched the potato skins just as fast as Adda could feed them to him. Before long, both ponies had reached the point where a normal mare or stallion would be full. But neither Night nor Adda was anything resembling normal when it came to food.
They moved to the next dish, a bowl of pasta salad. Night eagerly gulped down the portions that Adda gave to him. Soon, though, he discovered that he was feeling too hungry to be satisfied just by what she was giving him, so he began to sneak in bites of warm garlic bread between each bite she fed him. It seemed that she had the same idea: for every spoonful she let slide down his throat, she shoved two more into her own mouth. By the end of the bowl, both ponies had a noticeable bulge in their stomachs.
Soon, all semblance of cooperation went out of the window. Adda was too hungry, and Night too famished, to possibly wait on another to eat. The two dug in with gusto, and began stuffing themselves with an uncontrollable, gluttonous zeal. Night Air devoured a full pizza in minutes, his belly growing a bit rounder with every swallow. Adda gobbled down a full bowl of mashed potatoes, and giggled when she felt her rounded stomach slosh a bit beneath her hoof. But the table wasn’t anywhere near clear yet.
Night ate on and on. He groaned as he stuffed bite after bite of a casserole down his throat, savoring the feeling of increasing fullness as the amount of food in his stomach increased. His massive hunger roared, though, and he kept on eating. He shoved more and more food into his mouth, hungrily devouring the rest of the garlic bread and a half-dozen hayburgers.
His stomach by now was more than a slight bulge. One of Night Air’s hooves lightly massaged his growing potbelly as it began to weigh down on his thighs. His chubby legs shifted slightly to allow more room for his gut to spread out across his thighs. On and on he ate, the patterned flower shirt he’d put on earlier growing tighter by the swallow.
Adda herself wasn’t easily satisfied either. If anything, she ate even more frantically than Night did, stuffing herself with everything that was in reach, and half the things that weren’t. She gulped down a full tureen of soup, swallowed a towering platter of fries. Her stomach ballooned outward with Night’s, bloating with food and gurgling pleasantly every time she fed it more. She patted it with a hoof, and moaned lightly when it gurgled in return. It was like a drum: a big, taut drum that stuck out over her thighs by a good half of a foot. But she wasn’t done. She kept on eating.
Night smacked his lips hungrily as he finished off the hayburgers and moved onto some oatcakes. His big belly gurgled happily as it digested its meal, enough food to easily feed a family of five. He kept on gorging himself, munching and swallowing bite after bite, yearning to fill the emptiness in his stomach with more and more food. On and on his belly swelled, soon lifting his shirt up slightly and jiggling every time he made a motion. He swallowed his seventh oatcake and groaned happily as he felt it drop into his belly to join the mountain of food he’d already eaten.
His massive gut sat proudly in front of him, rising and falling with his every breath. It was as big as a good-sized beach ball, and was straining against his shirt. He prodded it curiously, then chuckled when he felt how tight it was. All that food made for a big, taut belly. That only made him want to eat more—but as more and more food vanished down his throat, he soon found himself slowing down. He wanted to eat more, wanted to stuff himself silly, but he already had, his belly was so big and so full. The table was only two-thirds empty when he leaned back in his chair and groaned. He burped loudly, then patted his engorged, glutted gut.
It was truly a marvelous belly. It bulged against his shirt so much that he could see bits of flesh poking out between the buttons, straining to get free. He groaned and shifted his weight. His massive feast sloshed inside of him, and his chair creaked beneath his weight.
He turned over to see how Adda was doing, and was treated to a view of a belly nearly the size of his own. The unicorn was sprawled in her chair, her legs stretched around her massive gut, her hooves rubbing it gently. She groaned softly, then glanced toward him with a smile on her face.
“Good?” she asked.
“Yeah,” he said. He belched, then blushed lightly. “I don’t think I can eat another bite.”
She managed somehow to nudge her chair over a bit until the sides of their bellies were touching, squishing against each other. Adda grinned and laid the hoof closest to him on his belly. She drew it around his gut in gentle, small circles. He leaned back in his chair and sighed, his eyes fluttering in pleasure as she massaged his huge gut.
“You can eat a little more,” she purred. “For me?”
“I couldn’t,” he said. But there was already a fat slice of chocolate cake hovering in front of him, and oh it looked so delicious. Despite his protesting stomach, Night could already feel himself drooling.
“C’mon,” Adda cooed. “Just a little dessert.”
“Fine,” he said. He gracefully let her slip the edge of the cake into his mouth, then eagerly gulped down the first bite before hungrily chomping down on the next one. Adda was more than happy to feed him a second slice, then a third, and a fourth. Soon, he’d made his way through most of a triple-layer cake, and his belly was larger and louder than ever.
Night groaned softly. His massive gut stuck out so far in front of him that it was hard to see past it. His shirt was incredibly tight, and it was getting a little hard to breathe. Adda could see the buttons on it quivering, vibrating madly with every breath Night Air took. “No...more,” he grunted.
“One more bite,” she said. Her horn glimmered with the same light that was dancing behind her eyes. The final slice of cake hovered beneath Night’s nose, filling his nostrils with a pleasant, chocolate aroma. “C'mon. I've heard Princess Celestia eats three cakes like this for breakfast." She giggled. "Okay, maybe not that many. But c'mon. One more slice.”
“Mm,” he said, considering it. But he couldn’t find the willpower to turn her down. He opened his mouth and let her slip it inside. His chubby cheeks bulged out around it. He chewed, chewed, swallowed—
Two things gave out at once. First, his chair, which had been creaking madly beneath his massive weight, shattered beneath him and sent him crashing to the ground. Secondly, the middle three buttons on his shirt finally gave up their fight. With a trio of loud pops, they exploded off of his shirt and flew into the air. With a ra-ta-ta they crashed against the far wall and fell to the floor just as Night’s plump rear came crashing down as well.
Night Air groaned. His enormous belly sloshed on top of him, pinning to the ground. Most of his gut was protruding through his shirt, now that more than half the buttons were missing. His two hooves, reaching as far as they could, couldn’t even hope to wrap all the way around.
"All of Canterlot, hm?"
Night groaned, then burped again. "Shut up," he moaned. His hooves patted ineffectually at his massive belly.
Adda’s chair creaked loudly as she heaved her own huge weight off of it and onto her hooves. Her belly swung from side to side beneath her, slapping against the insides of her thighs.
She nuzzled Night’s happily gurgling belly, then laid down beside it. “Feeling better?” she asked. Her right hoof was pinned beneath her massive gut, which spread out beneath her like an overstuffed pillow, but her left gently massaged Night Air’s stomach in a smooth, gentle belly rub.
“Ooh, yeah,” Night Air said, a vacant grin on his face. He patted his belly, and chuckled when it rippled and shook at his touch. His grin widened as Adda snuggled into his warm, gurgling gut.
“We should do this more often,” he said.
Adda nuzzled in closer. “Definitely,” she said. “How about tomorrow?”
Night Air thought about that for a second. “Will there be more cake?” He smacked his lips, licking up the last remnants of frosting on his muzzle.
Adda giggled. She patted her belly and licked her own lips. “Absolutely,” she said.
