Chapter 1 : Fission Mailed
It was a normal quiet day in Ponyville, the birds were chirping in their usual manner, welcoming the dawn that so gently was awaking everybody, along with the delicate sway of the morning breeze and the shiny dew on the grass and the leaves. Twilight Sparkle was just about to benefit from the last hours of sleep when a sunshine penetrated the window of her bedroom, filling the place with a multitude of different colours. Spike was already up, admiring every second of that spectacle with a great sense of wonder, as this view made him think about the precious and tasty gems he wanted to eat voraciously. Twilight finally woke up, ready to another day of exciting things to do, even though her wings were a little ache-y.
''Good morning Twilight !'' exclaimed Spike enthusiastically. ''Ready to take on your duties today ?''
''Good morning to you Spike'' said Twilight struggling to control her yawns. ''Let me prepare myself and we'll discuss all at breakfast, shall we ?''
''I'll make the waffles !'' shouted Spike running down the stairs in an excited yet careless manner, driven more by hunger than thought.
''So,'' said Spike while munching waffles relentlessly. ''Should we check your tasks for today ?''
''You know we have to. Spike, get the list please. So, we have a meeting with the others at Sugarcube Corner at 10 o'clock a.m.''
''Yes.''
''A meeting with the mayor at 1 o'clock p.m. discussing the latest improvements on the Party Tax and the funds for the latest events.''
''Uh-uh.''
''And finally a drink with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna at half past seven p.m.''
''Yup, that's it.''
''Perfect. It's nine o'clock so we should probably head to Sugarcube Corner, are you ready to go ?''
''You can say that again, Twilight.''
''Ok then, let's go. I bet that Rarity will be already there waiting for us.''
Walking throught the city was simply a joy that morning, as a gentle stream of air flowed in the mane of everybody, making them forget about the surprising hot temperature that day, and making work even more pleasant. The Quills and Sofas shop was already open, exposing his latest trend of inflatable levitating armchairs, and the jewels shop looked shinier than ever. Finally they arrived at Sugarcube Corner, only to find it closed. The doors were sealed by wooden planks, and a group of curious ponies surrounded the entrance of the building, trying to take a glance inside and understand what was happening. Rarity was among them.
''Oh, thank goodness you're here darling, I have no clue about what's going on here, I'm starting to get seriously worried about this situation !''
''Me too'' mumbled Twilight. ''I should definitely alert the others.''
Once the cutie mark signal was used, Rainbow Dash was there in a second, followed by Fluttershy and Applejack. Pinkie Pie was surprisingly missing.
''Girls, are you thinking what I'm thinking ?' ' said Rainbow Dash, who already decided to bust into Sugarcube Corner, worried about Pinkie.
''Ok'' responded Twilight ''Rainbow Dash, you keep the folks under control, they must not interfere with the operation, be as convincing as possible, I know you can do that, Applejack back her up if the situation gets too much crowded.''
''You can count on us'' exclaimed Applejack.
''Rarity, Fluttershy. Let's go inside''
As they entered the building they felt an eerie sensation, like someone sneaking behind their backs, ready to attack. They proceeded carefully, looking for details about the situation and captating every sound behind, exploring the desert main hall of Sugarcube Corner. Nobody was there, and the deep silence covered everything with an added level of creepiness. Then they went to the kitchen, inspecting every single corner of the place, but everything was like no one touched anything. Suddenly a noise made them shiver, like someone weeping. Twilight was on guard, and Rarity and Fluttershy were understandably scared, especially Fluttershy, that was undeniably terrified, even though you could have seen her determination to help Pinkie Pie. The sound came from upstairs, so they slowly checked the upward rooms. The weeping noise appeared again, this time coming from Pinkie's bedroom.
''Pinkie Pie ? It's me, Twilight, we're here to see what's this mess'' said Twilight gently knocking on the door.
There was no answer. Twilight slowly opened the door, only to be greeted by a panicking Pinkie Pie. Twilight prepared a barrier spell that protected her, Rarity and Fluttershy from the senseless attacks of Pinkie, who proceeded to assault the barrier with a frying pan in a futile attempt to defend herself from what she clearly saw as a menace.
''Pinkie, calm down ! It's me, Twilight !' ' yelled Twilight in an attempt to stop the attack.
''You want to hurt me ! You want to hurt me just like everything else ! You're not Twilight !''
''Yes, it's me Pinkie ! We're here to help you !' ' shouted Twilight in a combination of fury and fear. Slowly the hits of the frying pan were softer and softer, as Pinkie was suddenly surrending. When she finally stopped, Twilight and the others went out from the barrier, letting Pinkie sit down, exhausted.
''So darling, what's the reason for this mess ? We were really worried about you !''
''I was really afraid Pinkie' ' said Fluttershy from a distance, still afraid of the frying pan.
Twilight approached Pinkie, trying to calm her down and making her feel at ease.
''Are you ok Pinkie ? Do you want something to drink ? Maybe a cupcake or some sweets ?''
''I don't want anything ! Don't you realize that everything can be dangerous ? I could choke or maybe there's poison inside the cake ! Then I would be in danger, I would be afraid of not making it out alive ! What if my family forgets about me then ? What if you would replace me ?!''
Twilight was amazed that Pinkie would say such things, and both Rarity and Fluttershy were utterly speechless.
''Ok, Rarity, Fluttershy, call Rainbow Dash and Applejack, we gotta talk.''
The group reunited in the kitchen.
''Where have ya left Pinkie ?' ' asked Applejack.
''She's in her bedroom'' said Twilight. ''Ok girls, listen up. I don't have a precise diagnosis for Pinkie's situation, and she has never acted like this before. She refuses to eat, drink, and has attacked us ferociously. Also her constant fear of something that's gonna harm her and be abandoned has led me to the hipothesis that she might be suffering from a form of paranoia.''
''Well, now that we know the problem, let's solve it !'' exclaimed Rainbow Dash.
''It's not that simple, we have to understand the reason behind this behaviour, and simply talking to her won't be a solution. We gotta escogitate something quickly, are there any ideas ?''
''Maybe we could use food to make her think we are not enemies, I mean, even if she's afraid of us she still may recognize us as her friends '' proposed Fluttershy.
''That's a good idea darling, but I think we should also make her feel at ease, maybe with a massage and a chat with a tea'' thought Rarity.
''Yeah, this might work in another case, why don't cha try to enter her head right away, ya bughead ?'' said Applejack sarcastically''Wait-'' said Twilight '' Applejack, what did you say to Rarity ?''
''Ya bughead ?''
''No, not that ! Before !''
''This might work in another case ?''
''No, the other part of the phrase.''
Applejack remained silent for a second trying to prepare herself for the plan Twilight was gonna explain. Which also counted as the beginning of another adventure.
''Spike, get ready to send a letter'' said Twilight. ''Dear Princess, Celestia, I wish I could write to you under more pleasant circumstances, but unfortunately, I'm asking help and guidance for a troublesome emergency : my dear friend Pinkie Pie is victim of serious and unexpected case of paranoia. of which we can't trace the origin since she refuses to speak to us and has openly attacked us. The one preferable solution would be a psychological investigation. We need the help of Princess Luna, so please get her here right away. Thank you very much for your help and comprehension. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.''
Spike sent the letter right away in a spiral of green flames, delivering it succesfully to Princess Celestia.
''Okey, do you care to explain what the plan will be ?'' said Rainbow Dash, curious and unnerved at the same time.
''One step at a time Rainbow, we need all the members we require here first, then I'll explain the plan. For now I'll just tell you to get ready for another adventure.''

Chapter 2 : Sleeping is magic
Princess Luna arrived almost immediately, escorted by two royal guards.
''Keep the entrance closed ! Nobody shall enter this building for any reason !' ' ordered her in an intimidating manner.
Twilight and the others bowed in front of the Princess of the Night.
''Your highness, I'm glad you had the time to help us during this delicate moment, we were waiting you to explain my plan in its entirety.'' said Twilight.
''I'm intrigued by how this ''psychological investigation'' you mentioned will be organized. After all, I'm the one who's glad to be part of this plan and I'll help you anyway I can to save Pinkie Pie from this situation.'' responded Luna.
''Ok, team, this is how we will act : '' said Twilight while at the same time puling out a magic blackboard to explain in a more detailed manner '' we will put Pinkie Pie in a condition of sleep, so that she might not wake up. With the help of Princess Luna we could actually enter her brain, exploring her thoughts and finding the source of her paranoia or excessive amount of fear. Once inside we'll see a way to move ourselves between the various thoughts and find what's causing all this trouble. It will be like going inside Pinkie's dreams but also extending our exploration boundaries to the other areas of her thoughts. Is it all clear ?' ' the result of this explanation was a lot of confusion and a baffling schematic on the blackboard.
''Twilight darling, isn't this a bit, what should I say, implausable ?' ' asked Rarity, who was rather perplex about the actual possibility of such a mission.
''Well Rarity, Princess Luna will tell us if such a mission is possible' ' asnwered Twilight.
Princess Luna, in response, smiled and nodded affirmatively.
''Does that means what I think it means ? '' asked Rainbow Dash enthusiastically.
''Yes, well, not only I could perform the required spells for this mission, but I also have the right item for the job. If you could just wait here for a second, I'll be sure to bring it here imediately.'' said Princess Luna before teleporting right in front of the group's eyes.
After a few seconds she was back with a strange glass cruet, with a huge amount of sand inside.
''What's that ?' ' asked Fluttershy, rather perplexed.
''These are the Sands of Morpheus, an ancient artifact stored in great secret in the castle of Canterlot. They are capable of inducing sleep simply by blowing or sprinkling a bit of them in a pony's eye, but their effect is very powerful.' ' explained Princess Luna.
''How powerful ?' ' asked Twilight.
''Well, let's just say that a pinch could make a pony sleep for two or three days. The higher the doses of sand, the longer the effect and the time spent sleeping. Unfortunately a very high amount of sand could make even the most terrifying of demons fall into an endless sleep of absolute unconsciousness.''
Everyone in the room was speechless after this explanation, and the mere thought of the power of these simple chunks of sand sent shivers down their spines.
''This is why the Sands of Morpheus were guarded in great secret in Canterlot; in the right hands, they can be used for good, but in the hands of the wrong person their effect could be devastating. But they are also the only item that will allow Pinkie Pie to sleep enough time for us to go on with our mission. When she should finally be asleep, I will launch the spell to enter her mind and you will follow me inside. That's the plan basically.''
''Well uhm ... We should probably get someone to keep an eye on the situation outside as we go on this adventure.'' proposed Fluttershy.
''Well I could always keep an eye on Pinkie Pie, and there are also some guards protecting the building, aren't they ?'' asked Spike.
''Definitely, I will call for addictional protection and I might leave you temporarily inside Pinkie's mind to check the situation outside, how she will react to the Sands and if she's going to wake up. Oh, and I'll also let Spike rest for a while.'' replied Luna. ''Now then, you should prepare everything you need for this voyage. The mission won't last a single day, that's for sure. Go back to your houses and prepare what you need, I'll stay here with Spike to call for additional help from the guards. Spike, would you please lend me a letter ?'' asked Luna.
''Sure Twili ... I mean, Your Highness.'' said Spike.
''Ok, we'll be right back'' said Twilight as she went out of Sugarcube Corner with the others.
After something like half an hour he group was reunited at Sugarcube Corner, completely surrounded by royal guards and a bunch of curious passer-bys. Princess Luna and Spike were waiting in the main hall.
''Have you brought everything that you will need ?'' asked Princess Luna.
''Food, water, things for sleeping and a journal. I think we are definitely ready.'' answered Twilight confidently.
''Great, now where is Pinkie Pie ?'' said Princess Luna.
''She's in her room upstairs, follow us and be quiet. Oh and also, be ready for being attacked by a frying pan.'' added Applejack.
The group went carefully upstairs, without making much noise, and as they approached Pinkie's room, the weeping noise that Twilight, Rarity and Fluttershy heard the first time grew stronger and stronger. After a few steps they finally arrived in front of Pinkie's room.
''I'll go inside, cover me if things don't go as planned, ok ?' ' asked Princess Luna. ''Ok, let's go.''
All the others could hear was Pinkie Pie shouting the name of Nightmare Moon, and then the noise of someone falling to the ground. When they entered the room Pinkie was asleep on the floor.
''She tried to attack me with a frying pan, believing I was Nigtmare Moon. I just blew a pinch of Sands in her face and she suddenly started sleeping.'' said Princess Luna while she was putting Pinkie Pie on her bed. ''Then I guess we should go then. Are you ready ?''
''Yes, we are.'' answered Twilight without hesitation. ''Spike, take care of her while we're inside, see you soon.''
''Be careful in there ok ? I'll miss you ...' ' mumbled Spike.
Twilight smiled back, and that expression for Spike was worth more than a bunch of words.
''Very well then, if you're ready I shall cast my spell, come close to me.' ' said Princess Luna.
A white spiral of magic crossed her horn, ending in a blue sphere. After a pair of seconds the group was surrounded by a magic sphere, similar to a shield, that was of a dark blue-ish color. The group felt smaller and smaller as they were entering Pinkie's mind, even though little could be seen of the outside of the sphere. After a while they arrived in a space that seemed completely free of every object, illuminated by a light blue color that made it feel unknown but familiar at the same time. Suddenly, someone spoke to them.
''Hey there, how are you ?''
The group could not believe their eyes when they saw a glass-wearing Pinkie Pie greeting them.

Chapter 3 : Exposition, Exposition, Rush It Out A.S.A.P.
''What's with the traumatized faces ? Have you seen a ghost ? Do I have something on my cheek ?'' asked the glass-wearing Pinkie Pie.
''Pinkie Pie ? Is that you ? So you are okay !' ' shouted Rainbow Dash. She suddenly jumped on Pinkie Pie, hugging her vigorously.
''We were so worried about you !'' said Twilight, leading the others into a big group hug.
''Girls, I don't think that's actually the true complete Pinkie Pie.'' explained Princess Luna calmly.
''WHAT !?' ' asked the others, backing up from the hug.
''Well, she is right.'' said the pink pony.'' I'm surprised any of you failed to notice that unlike the outside Pinkie Pie, I wear glasses.''
''Well, I guess we got a bit ... ahem ... Carried away .'' said Rarity while blushing. ''Anyway who are you then ?''
''I am Pinkie Pie's Conscience, though my full name is a formality. Just call me Conscience, that should be more adequate.' '
''Conscience, nice to meet you. Could you please tell us where we are ?'' asked Twilight.
''You're in the Hall of the Brain, also called Antechamber. This is the first and most, well ''exterior'' part of the brain, so to speak. You have basically arrived at the beginning of the brain, in the Prefrontal Cortex. I supervise the Jugdement capabilities of Pinkie Pie, but I'll explain that further on. Is it all clear for now ?''
The baffled looks on everybody's faces should have been a clear sign of how everything was absolutely not clear. Princess Luna was stupified too, but she was the only one that actually didn't gave that impression.
''Well, why don't you follow me ? I still have to understand what you are doing inside this silent place. Oh, now that I talked about it.''
Conscience clapped her hooves to suddenly make some chillout/lounge music appear. The soft tunes of the music suddenly made that light green-ish room appear more vibrant and alive, making anyone also feel much more comfortable, actually.
''Much better, you know, it's one of our main rules here, any thought in this brain shall not work without any musical accompaniment, we try to fight boredom anyway we can. So, we can go now ? A few steps may help us a lot.'' said Conscience to the group, after they suddenly snapped out of their surprise and marvel.
''So, what exactly is your job here Conscience ?'' asked Twilight.
''Well, basically I control every single idea that is trying to make its way into the brain. I let the good ones in, and I also dispatch of the bad ones. You see that garbage can over there ?' ' said Conscience indicating a big green garbage can. ''That's where I throw away the bad ideas, even though I never understood where they go after.''
''Well this pony's doing one heck of a job then, considering Pinkie's behaviour.' ' thought Applejack sarcastically.
''But enough about me, what are you doing here ? I mean, you're not supposed to be hosts of a brain.'' asked Conscience.
'''So, it's kind of a long story : basically the outside world Pinkie Pie has went crazy and she's not acting like her normal self. In fact she seems completely paranoic and afraid of everyhting and everyone to the point that she tried to hit us with a frying pan and she refuses to make contact with us or accept something from us. So we are here to help her by discovering the reason why she's acting so strangely. ' ' answered Twilight.
''Strange enough, these definitely sound like bad ideas, even though I never saw them here, as in they never arrived. Considering the way you are describing the situation, it seems more like an excessive amount of fear. I would also consider a neurosis, but that happens rarely, and never on such a serious scale. You see, the difference is that neurosis are created when ideas arrive for a huge removal or repression of impulses and desires, or when the brain fails to create an individual response to a general problem. It's usually an inconscient well, ''conflict'', that we try to satisfy anyway in order to avoid a crisis on a bigger scale. We basically find a compromise. Fear on the other hand, is a response to a situation of danger. The main leader thoughts that control the various feelings then find a way to confront fear together. An excessive amount of fear must be the result of a failed control by the feelings. You should probably talk to them about this fact, I'll guide you to them.'' said Conscience after the long explanation.
''That would be great, thank you, but aren't you supposed to stay on guard here ?'' asked Princess Luna.
''Oh, don't worry, I have someone that can cover me.'' answered Conscience. ''Common Sense, could you please come here ?''
After a few moments of silence accompanied by the still going lounge music, another Pinkie Pie entered the room. This one was wearing a yellow working helmet.
''Good morning Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Princess Luna, nice to see you here. Conscience, what do you want ?''
''Can you please take my place for a bit ? I'm helping them to solve a case in here that may have something to do with the leader feeling thoughts.'' said Conscience.
''Pff, those good for nothing snobs start having problems, ay ? Go check them out, I'll stay on guard here. '' replied Common Sense.
''Thank you buddy, I'll be right back.'' said Conscience. ''Common Sense may be a bit grumpy, but he's actually a nice guy once you get to know him.'' she said to the group.
''So, what's the first place we should go ?'' asked Twilight.
''Well, the feelings are all nearby, as they're all here in the Prefrontal Cortex.'' said Conscience.
She then looked at the group and saw the confused faces that everybody had.
''I guess the first feeling we should see is Happiness. There you will find a Pinkie Pie, let's say, much more similar to the one you have outside. Well, shall we go ?''
The group then started marching, ready to venture into this new, unexplored, but fascinating territory.
Author's Note
So, I just wanted to say that the link in the middle goes to a youtube link with some music, which is actually supposed to play during the rest of the scenes. Odd I know, but it's an idea I had in mind for a while in order to create some atmosphere and understand the environment.

Chapter 4 : Golpe de Estado
''How long are we supposed to keep walking ?'' yelled Rarity exhausted.
''For as long as we need, Rarity, and besides, I'm not tired at all'' said Rainbow Dash.
''Yeah, it's easy when you have wings, I need to keep my hooves shiny and comfortable, and walking is the worst thing for them. ''
''Don't worry Rarity, I have an idea on how to make this travel even shorter.'' said Conscience while laughing a bit. ''By simply walking it would get us something like an hour to reach the area dedicated to Happiness, so we will use this instead.''
''What's this heck of a thing ?' ' asked Applejack curiously.
''That's our means of transportation everybody. We'll travel by using the Stream of Consciousness.''
''Wait, isn't that a writing technique ?'' asked Twilight.
''I think so.'' said Conscience. ''This is where all the thoughts constantly flow towards the various areas of the brain. We usually travel there very quickly using electric impulses, think of it as our own personal magic of sort; but with you we will need a carriage. Fortunately we have several on stock for massive transportations of thoughts to a single place, so we will use them. See that microphone over there ? We can use that to specify where we need to go, watch.''
Conscience went closer to the microphone and spoke into it.
''A seven thoughts carriage directed to Joytropolis please.''
''That would be 200 selsils sweetie.''
''200 selsils ?! Last time I checked it was 100 ! Let's see what I got here ...''
''Sorry, I don't make the prices, but I may tell you a joke to cheer you up !''
''Ok, I got the 200 selsils, now can we ''
''No, wait. '' Interrupted Rainbow Dash. ''Make that joke !''
''How many gryphons does it take to screw a bulb ?
''How many ?'' asked Rainbow Dash.
''One, they're not that stupid, ha ha ha ha ha !''
''That's our Pinkie Pie.'' said Rainbow Dash laughing and shedding a pair of joyful tears.
''Ahem. As I was saying, here you go, 200 selsils.' ' said Conscience.
''Okey Dokey Lokey, have a nice trip, see ya !'' exclaimed the electronic voice before turning off.
Suddenly in front of the group appeared an electric blue carriage standing on a rail of the same color. There were exactly seven seats, one for each one of them.
''Come on, hop in, and don't be afraid of the electricity, it's a very small voltage. It may give you an itch the first time you sit, but you'll get used to it.''
As a matter of fact, Rarity and Fluttershy almost jumped out of their seats because of the slight electric shock they received, but they quickly sat again.
''Applejack, you're not even breaking a sweat, how do you do that ?' ' asked a rather impressed Twilight.
''Well, ya know, Ah received my fair share of shock working with the zap apples, so Ah'm used to electricity. Guess you could say Ah can ride the lightning, yeee haaaw.'' said Applejack.
The carriage started moving on the Stream of Consciousness at a surprisingly high speed, but everyone was pretty relaxed, as they did not need to walk a lot again, at least for a while.
''Conscience, can I ask you a question ?'' said Twilight.
''Ask away, I'm all hears.''
''What have you paid the carriage with exactly ?''
''Oh, guess I should have explained that. I used these.''
Conscience suddenly opened up her hoof to reveal two worm-like things. One was blue and the other golden, but both of them looked like they were made of steel, or some sort of metal like material.
''They are called selsils, they are the current monetary value in the brain. They are basically made of the same thing that ideas and dreams are made of, as they actually are, in a way, ideas that have yet to be thought. You can find them anywhere in the brain, so the outside bits here are practically useless.''
''I see, so for any purchase we might need to do inside...''
''Just find some selsils and buy what you need, yes. But you got to know where to find them. The Prefrontal Cortex is full of selsils because it's an area that is rich of ideas, but I don't know if the situation is any better in the other parts of the brain. Anyway, we have arrived. Welcome to Joytropolis everybody !''
The group arrived to a place that seemed exactly like a metropolis, a city full of colors with a bright sort of yellow sky. A lot of happy ponies were walking in the streets and each one of them greeted the group enthusiastically, as if they had always been there, while a joyful song played in the air, creating a much more comfortable atmosphere, making the simple act of being in that city feel like a wonderful experience.
''Now that we're here, where shall we go to meet this so-called ''Happiness'' ?'' asked Princess Luna.
''We just need to go to the town hall.'' said Conscience.
''Well, then what are we waiting for ? Let's go !'' shouted Rainbow Dash.
After a few minutes of constant walking and a few questions to the locals, the group finally arrived at the town hall, a humble reconstruction of the Ponyville town hall, except this one was completely yellow. The group entered, and they found another Pinkie Pie sitting on a chair behind a desk, smiling.
''Good morning, Happiness'' said Conscience.
''Hi Conscience ! I'm sooooo happy to see you, it's been a while since you came here, and hi to you too my friends !'' said Happiness stretching her arms to perform a big group hug ''What brings you here ? You want to have a party ? I hope you want to throw a party, we'll have cake, confetti, fun, and have I mentioned cake ? It's gonna be tons of fun !''
''I'm honored Conscience, and I wish this visit could happen under better circumstances ... You see, there have been some serious issues outside with excessive amounts of fear that seriously endangered the ponies that are accompaning me. If the situation gets worse, the effects may have serious consequences on the whole system. I would never doubt the efficiency of your work, and I know you are one of the best Leader Thoughts when it comes to feelings in this brain, but I have to check the efficiency of everyone involved in the fear containment actions.''
''I never heard anything of these attacks, and they definitely don't come from me or my co-workers, and look at me. I wouldn't have any reason to create problems in the system with an attack like that. I mean, why would I do that, silly ?''
''I don't know, but I need to examine each and every option before coming to a logical solution and solve this problem.''
''That's to be expected from a smart guy like you, Conscience, but with me you just need to chill. I'm Happiness, my only goal is to make the system as happy as possible.''
''Look, I might take your word on that just because I know you, but still, I need to check the others as well. Do you think that maybe something is wrong in Gloomburg or in the Anger District ?''
''Well ... Lemme think ... Naaaaah ! Sadness and Rage usually don't have the will to do such a thing, and besides, they only pop out every now and then, they usually have their own grumpy things to do.' '
''Yeah, but when they show up it usually has some pretty big consequences on the system !''
''Are you understanding anything of what they're saying, darling ?'' asked a perplexed Rarity to Twilight.
''More or less, let's see how the situation carries on.'' responded Twilight.
''Well then'' said Happiness ''why don't we investigate together, Conscience ?''
''What !?''
''Yeah, I'll accompany you to see Rage and Sadness, maybe we will find the solution to this peak-a-predicament !''
''Don't you have to stay here and work ?''
''Duh, that's why I have co-workers, silly ! It's an important mission anyway, we have to preserve the system, they'll understand.''
''Well if that's the case then we should be moving.'' said Princess Luna.
''We sure have to, come on let's go ! Listen outside, even the citizens are cheering for us !'' said Happiness.
''Wait, cheerings ?'' asked Twilight, carefully listening outside. ''Sounds more like screams to me.''
''Wait what !?' ' said Conscience.
Suddenly the door of the town hall was opened violently by a paw; outside you could hear ponies run in fear and hiding in their houses. Now enterning the town hall was a purple reptile, similar to a giant bipedal lizard, with dark purple flames coming out of the crests on his back. Some kind of powerful, guitar-centered music was coming from somewhere, completely clashing with the atmosphere in that particular part of the brain.
''Oooh yeah, that's me jam !'' he said looking at the group. ''OI ! I'm lookin' for the one in charge here ! Are ya Happiness, chap ?'' he said pointing a menacing claw towards Conscience.
''She's not, I am !'' shouted Happiness, jumping towards the strange visitor. ''What's your name ?''
''Me name's not important, I'm on a special mission.''
''Uuuuh, what kind of mission ?''
''How do they say ? ... Oh yeah ! Golpe de Estado.''
He suddenly ran towards Happiness with his claws out, ready to attack her. Unfortunately for him, Rainbow Dash surprised him with a lightning-fast hoof right on his face, which made him back up considerately.
''I don't know who you are or what are you doing here. But nobody, and I mean nobody, attacks my friends. Ya got that in your stupid brain, creep ?'' said Rainbow Dash menacingly.
''Tsk, gotta hand it to ya, yer hit really hard. Almost made me lose a fang. I won't repeat the same mistake then.'' said the creature. ''Berzerk Fog.''
Suddenly a red and purple mist covered the room, making the simple act of seeing unbearable.
''Let's protect Happiness !'' said Twilight. ''Round her and stay ready, he will attack anytime now.''
As it was expected the creature appeared right out of nowhere and kicked Princess Luna loudly, sending her away from the group. Immediately Twilight created a magical barrier that protected the group from the in-coming, furious attacks of the beast, a constant flurry of punches that could have made the barrier crumble in a million pieces.
''What do we do now !?' ' asked loudly Applejack.
''We wait, I have a plan.'' responded Twilight.
The barrier kept resisting while the creature kept attacking, not considering that the fog he created was disappearing with time, until the area was clear.
''Princess Luna ! Hit him, just hit him as hard as you can !'' shouted Twilight.
Luna teleported right behind the creature, ready to hit him with the hoof.
''What now, yer buggers ?'' asked sarcastically the creature while preparing a poderous punch.
The punch and Luna's hoof clashed vigorously, and the two bounced away because of the force produced, but while Luna was able to recover and prepare an attack spell in mid-air, the purple reptile was left disoriented by the backlash produced. Twilight saw the opportunity for a strike, quickly moving away from the group and putting herself on the opposite side of Princess Luna, charging a magic beam. Luna shot her beam, hitting the target perfectly, followed by Twilight's beam; a huge explosion followed, with purple and blue fumes covering the area. The creature lied on the ground, defeated and exhausted, but apparently still conscious.
''Now you're going to tell us everthing about this ''mission'' you're a part of, alright ?'' asked Twilight.
''Tsk. As if I were the type of agent that tells everything, especially to you buggers.'' said the creature. ''There is nothing that will convince me to reveal anything I know, and besides, me purple arse will be kicked anyway from me boss, so that's the end of me line ! Hahahahahaha so much effort for discovering nothing in the end, uh buggers ?'' he said this as a black smoke was coming out of his body. ''Very well then, hello next day !''
Suddenly he turned into black smoke, and disappeared from the scene, nowhere to be found.
''Well... Everything now turned into something more complicated. Do you know what was that thing, Happiness ?'' asked Conscience.
''Nu-uh. I don't have a singe solitary clue.'' said Happiness with a smile.
''Well then ... Guess we should look for answers in other places, and I think I know where to look for them.''
''So what's our next objective ?'' asked Princess Luna.
''The Anger District. We're gonna pay a visit to Rage.''

Good night everybody ! Sorry if this chapter is late, but I've been on holiday in Hungary last week at Sziget Festival, and it was amazing, the best week I've ever had. Aside from that, here's the new chapter, have a nice read
