Spike is having a great day until he meets a mysterious pony who has a magic mirror who can predict the future.
He gets transported to a time where Twilight got mad with power and puts the whole of Equestria in slavery.

It's up to Spike to find out what was the cause for what happened and prevent this from happening in the real world.
