Twilight has become curious of other forms of magic and decides to look into old and long forgotten forms of magic. little to her surprise she does discover another form of magic but not in the way she intended for this form is music a complicated form since it was used by humans over 3 milena ago who had apendages that they called fingers. however ponies have developed past this and are able to crate music too but not in the same fluidity and grase as humans did. What will come from this newly discovered magic and what "Discord" will it bring as well? *this is my irst REAL story i would like some constructive critism along the way to help with making the rest of the story better thx and enjoy!*

"Uggh..., learned that, preformed that, used that on multiple occasions. Uggh what else is there?!" Screamed Twilight in frusration as she searched the dusty tomes at the bottom of her library searching for for a tome relevent to her recent studies. From the scream, Owlichus turned her head sharply at the now fuming twilight and answered with a simple and and calm "who?"

Twilight turned her head and saw Owlichus looking at her with a sideways glance. Twilight chuckled to her self, "Oh, Owlichus you truely are a bird of few words." remarked Twilight

Owlichus looked at her blankly and responded quickly with a calm "who?" before returning to pruning her feathers on the tree root that she was contently perched.

happy that there was no more distractons to occupy her she went back to searching through the piles and piles of books.

"Twilight, Twilight, Twilight!" "AH!" Screamed Twilight as she fell off of the pile of books that she had been napping on contently she looked up lazily and saw spike who was calling her name she then looked at the clock that adorned the wall to her left still groggy from last nights sleeping conditions. Her eyes shot awake as soon as the time came into focus.

"Oh my gosh! Spike why didn't you wake me up sooner!" said Twilight as she rushed for her saddle bags, he looked around in distress as she thought of what to pack for this days endeavor.

"Umm, i did don't you remember. You shooed me away and said to wake you in a half an hour." said spike in a blank tone as he watched his sister dash around the house from upstairs to downstairs to left to right.

Spike! Where is the- complete editorial of apple bucking techniques, Right here." spike said proudly as he flipped the book in the arch way of the door leading to twilights sleeping quarters. Before another word could be said the book was levitated right out of his hands and a purple blur zipped by his face followed by a loud slam from the front door closing.

"Uggh, i suppose i have to clean up this mess to." as he looked at the disaster area that was twilights room. Papers from the princess were strewn everywhere, Inkwells toppled over with ink leaking through the floor boards and quills were somehow stuck to the wall. Spike sighed as he started his day long chore.

"Gotta move, Gotta move!, Gotta Move!" Screamed Twilight in her head as she raced towards Sweet Apple Acres as fast as her hooves could carry her. she had completely overslept and was to meet Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres 15 minutes ago to help her buck apples for this years harvest.

As she raced through the gates of the farm she accidentally ran into Big Macintosh hauling a big cart of ripe red delicious apples towards his sisters newly installed apple cellar. Big Mac wasn't phased at all from the tackle but twilight had landed with a big thud on her haunches. Twilight struggled as she stood up dazed.

"Ow, what did i just hit a brick wall?"

"Hey!" yelled Big Mac as he helped Twilight up from her dase.

"Oh, sorry Big Mac. Do you know where Applejack is?" Twilight asked with concern in her voice as the huge stallion loomed over her.

Big Mac getured to the farm house more specificely Applejacks bedroom.Twilight thanked him and went to see her friend which she now was wondering why she was still in her room at this hour of the day.

Twilight creacked open the door to find herself in the middle of a coughing fit from her friend Applejack . Applejack didn't look like her usual perky self she had bags under her eyes, her mane was a mess and her usually pristene orange coat had turned a darker orange almost looking rotten. After Applejack was finished she landed down on her pillow with a thud which made feathers fly everywhere. Upon seing her friend Twilight in the doorway Applejack's face broke out into a small smile.

"Glad you came." Said Apple jack in a raspy voice from her earlier coughing fit.

"Jeez Applejack you look and sound terrible what happened." asked Twilight in a concerned voice.

"Aww it's just a bad cold, i sent Apple Bloom to Zecoria's to see if she don't have a cure for it." Said Applejack in a weary voice.

"Well i guess our plans have been canceled for the time being until you get better. I guess i have the day off, good, more time to devote to my research." Twilight said enthusiastically with a big grin on her face.

"Speakin' of Research Twi, What have you been doin' these last few days? We an't seen high nor tail of you for 3 days now!" Said Apple jack with a concerned expression on her face hoping that her friend Twilight wasn't falling back into her old routenes before she had met them.

All Twilight did was chuckle, "It's a secret. Im heading over to Fluttershy's house later to help her tend to her animals you should come too when you feel better."

"Allright Twi, i'll see if i can make it." Said Applejack in a depressed voice.

As Applejack watched Twilight walk out the gate of Sweet Apple Acres from her bedroom window she muttered to herself "A secret huh. Well i don't like secrets being kept from me." Commented Applejack in a annoyed voice.

"As soon as im over this silly cold im headed straight to Twi's house to see whats up.

"Phew, that was a long day Fluttershy. I'm beat" commentated Twilight as she landed down on the stoop of her house exhausted.

"Oh, i'm sorry if i pushed you too hard twilight. I just really needed help with angel and his vaccinations." said Fluttershy as she looked over to a fuming Angel with a band aid on his butt.

"I'd be happy to return the favor for you that is if you want me to." said Fluttershy in a meek voice as she hid behind her mane scared of what her friend would say.

"Thanks Fluttershy you can repay that favor right now i need you to go around to our friends and tell them to be here tomorrow say 10 o' clock." Said twilight to her slightly less scared friend. Fluttershy nodded in agreement and flew off to tell their friends

Twilight walked inside her hollow tree that was her house contempt with the work that she did today. As she walked to her bed she passed a sleeping spike who was snoring loudly and was curled up with a half eaten amethyst. Twilight crawled into her bed awaiting for tommrow because her life and her friends lives were gonna change for the better.
