The Invitation
Rainbow Dash woke up in her cloud bed, extremely sweaty. She has just had a lucid nightmare, in which her asking out Applejack ended terribly. Oh how she wanted that day to come so badly...
"Just do it," RD thought to herself as she went through her morning routine. "Ask her out! Yeah! Today!" RD felt confident now. She stared at the mirror, fixing her mane. She sighed. Her mane was always a bit messy, and it wouldn't sit still, even for today. The cloud walls moved slightly, as there was a strong wind outside. RD shuddered at the thought of AJ not... well... not accepting. RD was pretty sure AJ was a fillyfooler, but there was no way to be 100% positive without asking her. RD decided to save her the embarrassment of asking AJ if she was.
RD flew down the white, fluffy stairs and bolted out her cloud door. She would of flew off and taken her morning flight, but RD was stopped by her mailbox, the red arrow pointing up.
"I never get mail," RD said to herself, realizing how lonely that made her sound. She flew over to her mailbox and opened it. Inside was a fat envelope. RD gasped. It was from... Vinyl Scratch?????????????
