My Little Pinkie; Pie is Magic Season One
Ep. 1- Celestia Returns Part One
"WHAT!!!!????!!!" Pinkie Pie's mouth shot open wide as her lifelong mentor, Princess Luna, nodded her head, a somewhat solemn twinkle in her eyes. Pinkie Pie shook her head, disbelieving what she was hearing. "But...but...after all these years, why are you trying to get rid of me?" Pinkie puffed, angry at her teacher and friend.
"I'm not trying to get rid of you, Pinks. I see that you prefer knowledge over friendship, therefore I want you to go to and study it. We have a balloon ready, so when you pack up, you can go." Princess Luna said, brushing Pinkie's curly mane with her right hoof. Pinkie Pie pouted. Canterlot had always been her home and did not want it to change. But at least she got to live in the apartment above a yummy bakery. That would be okay.
"Fine." So Pinkie went off to pack for her relocation to .
When Pinkie Pie arrived, she smiled at everypony, but she didn't want to be friends with any of them. They all seemed a little rude to be honest. Pinkie found the bakery labeled Sugarcube Corner and bounced inside, grabbing her saddle bag with one hoof to make sure it didn't fall off. "Oh! Oh my, dear, you must be Miss Pinkie Pie!" A sweet lady covered in frosting of every color in the rainbow looked up and smiled at her. Pinkie smiled back. Such a sweet (literally) mare would be great to be friends with, if Pinkie ever got into the knack of this "friendship" thing.
"Hiya! Princess Luna told me that you're Miss Cup Cake. Is this true?" Pinkie asked, following the blue earth pony with curly pink hair up the steps to her room. Pinkie and Miss Cake entered the room, and Pinkie began to unpack and redecorate. Her room was going to look Pinkie perfect in no time at all!
"Why, yes! I am Miss Cake! But you can just call me Cup Cake, okay? Oh!" Miss Cake tossed a book into Pinkie's room, landing right in front of Pinkie's front hooves. She peered down at her new storybook, Equestrian Legends and Friendship for Dummies. It looked interesting, not just because it could give her a head start into this friendship business, but also because she could learn about Equestrian legends! "Princess Luna sent this to me. She wanted me to deliver it to you when you arrived." Miss Cake said, closing the door so Pinkie could have some time alone to read.
Pinkie set down her half-empty saddle back and turned to the book. She snuggled down on the bed, folding her wings gently on her sides. She turned the cover of the book, and a scroll was tucked inside it, flattened by the cover's weight. The scroll read:
Dear Miss Pinkie Pie,
I am sending you this letter to tell you that this book meant a lot to me. I completely trust that you will take good care of it for me. Also, I hope you can start a library full of your very own book choices soon enough.
Your Mentor and Friend,
Princess Luna
