//-------------------------------------------------------// My Little Pony: Origins -by The Critic Daikaiju- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Beginning //-------------------------------------------------------// The Beginning     Doctor Edward Richtofen spoke into his audio diary. “June the fourth, nineteen hundred and eighteen, Dear diary. Today I have managed to procure another crate of my favorite pony toys, they are so cute, with their little candy colored faces…”He began to think blissfully about his little pony toys, wanting to get back to them. “Oh, and I was able to keep Doctor Maxis, and my unlikely allies alive, again! The former not really being able to be considered alive, and latter of which STILL do not do not follow my well laid plans to escape from this accursed landscape, and rid ourselves of that dreadful little girl claiming to be the daughter of Doctor Maxis.” The doctor responsible for the zombie outbreak of the excavation site sat back in his chair. However, we believe we have discovered a way to free ourselves-NO DEMPSEY, THEY ARE MIENE PONIES,  NO TOUCHIE!“ The german snapped at his american companion after he toughed a lavender unicorn that was spattered with mud on his table The american replied, “What the heck are you doing, playing with those girl’s toys anyway Richtofen? Shouldn’t we be out there, kicking undead freak bags back into the ground?” He picked up one of them, a lavender colored one. “Ah, I see you’ve finally decided to tone down your language Dempsey,” The scientist observed, Dempsey often spoke in a foul mouthed manner. “And I am not playing with those toys, I am using them to plan our escape from this site, and that dreadful little girl.” Richtofen explained, walking over the Tank Dempsey, and snatching the lavender pony from his hand. Richtofen stroked her muddy mane, pressing it to his cheek. “Don't worry Twilight Sparkle, I won't let him hurt you.” He placed the pony back where it was before Dempsey had disturbed her. “This one represents me.” He pointed to Twilight Sparkle. “So you made yourself a purple female pony?” He asked. Dempsey did not know whether to be weirded out, or horrified, he could watch an army of zombies be massacred, but this, this right here, almost made him puke. After seeing all the stuff that Richtofen had done, it was nearly incomprehensible he would be into these things, but he was. “Why?” Richtofen walked around the table, with a map of the excavation site under the toys, and various other objects representing things around the site. “Because in the show she is a part of, she is the smart, science-y one, like me.”Richtofen looked around for the one he had to represent Dempsey. “This one was going to represent you.” He threw Dempsey a tan colored, blue maned pegasii, Richtofen obviously didn't like this one, one of the few traits he had in common with Tank Dempsey. “However, despite your mouth, and attitude, and first impressions, and lack of intellect, you are actually somewhat likeable Dempsey.” That almost sounded like a compliment, “At least when you’re not trying to kill or capture me that is.” Richtofen clearly remembered how their first encounter transpired, when the rest of the of The Allies’ agents arrived to find him, each pointing a gun at him, then one of the giant robots nearly stepped on them, as hordes of zombies came for them. After picking up a lighter colored purple unicorn mare, Richtofen said, “This one is Nikolai,” “Uh, why?” Richtofen then whispered loudly, “I chose her because she’s communist, like him.” He then returned his voice to normal volume. “Now where did i put yours? There.” He picked up a white unicorn male. “This one is you, he’s a captain in a pony military, of sorts.” It was apparent that Richtofen’s work in Group 935 had not hindered his viewing of temporally displaced tv show episodes. Dempsey was wondering why he was even listening to this. “Wouldn’t it be more productive, Doctor, if you stopped-” Takeo’s voice came from another room, “Dempsey, what is taking you so long?” The japanese Bushido warrior entered the room, “You were supposed-” He stopped when he saw that Richtofen was holding up a candy colored pony, and him and Dempsey were talking about them. “Why are you playing with girl pony toys german? And Dempsey-” Before Takeo could say anything, Richtofen said, “Ah, Takeo, I was just about to get to your representation.” He picked up a yellow colored female unicorn, and walked over to Takeo to show it to him,  “This one is you, she has ‘Sunset’ in her name, and you're from the land of the rising sun.” Both Allies failed to see his convoluted connection between the pony and its human representative. Richtofen handed Sunset’s toy to Takeo, “Is this typical of german, no?” He whispered to Dempsey, who shrugged. And just to make the entire scenario even more awkward, Nikolai walked in the room. “Oh look, you’re all playing with pony toys, may I join in?” All of the Origins Crew looked at Nikolai, flabbergasted. “Richtofen, can you just explain your plan, these things are weirding me out, I just want to get away from them.” Tank Dempsey said. “And why don’t you just give them to Samantha, maybe that will get her to leave us alone.” “Very well Dempsey.” Richtofen began to explain the map. “We are here,” The doctor pointed the the ponies, Twilight sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer, and Shining Armour, the representations of the four of them were adjacent to the Cutie Mark of Twilight Sparkle. “This represents the 115 Conversion Generators, each of the Cutie Marks represent a generator, except for the sun, that represents an ancient machine we unearthed to upgrade our weapons.” Twilight’s was at Generator 1, Applejack’s was at Generator 2, Fluttershy’s was at Generator 3,Rainbow Dash’s was at Generator 4, Pinkie Pie’s was at Generator 5, and Rarity’s was at Generator 6, all scattered around the map. At the mound where the excavation wa taking place, there was Sunset Shimmer’s Cutie Mark was representing the Pack-A-Punch Machine. “The small purple crystals represent the parts to the Staff of Lightning, we need to obtain all of them to build it, and the rest of the parts for the other 3 staffs, including the 115 power jem. These three broken parts are where the pieces of the skydrone we retrieved to revive Maxis were located.” the broken parts were of a Princess Luna buildable toy. “we will need to power each Generator, collect every staff piece, Ice by digging when its snowing, Lightning by riding the tank, wind by going into each of the Robots, and Fire, I have no idea how to get them. After we get all of them, we need to go to The Crazy place through the tunnels to get the power jem, then build them in the Excavation Site.  the Rest of the steps I will explain on the way because they can not be done on the map.” The three seemed to have difficulty in comprehending why there pony representations, but they understood what each represented. “Now that we are all familiarised with the plan, go rest, we have a long day ahead of ourselves.” Richtofen went to a makeshift bed in another room, and Dempsey called. “What if the freak bags come for us?” “Just send Maxis out, he doesn’t need sleep.” Richtofen was awoken by shooting, fearing more zombies had come, he jumped out of his bed, grabbing his MP40, and ran out, only to find Dempsey shooting target practice with the others. “Hey doc, join us for target practice, your aim could use improvement.” Dempsey said, shooting and hearing objects shatter and fall to the floor. “Ha, is funny because German has terrible aim.” Nikolai said, in a semi-drunken state, he was the epitome of a Russian stereotype. “Ja, ja, ja, I need to learn how to shoot, excuse me, I’M A DOCTOR! not a soldier.” He aimed his MP40, “What are you using at targets anyway, Vodka bottles?” “No, your ponies.” Dempsey said. “WHAT!?” Richtofen accidentally pulled the trigger, and the recoil rent the gun flying, making everyone duck for cover. “What the heck Richtofen, they’re just ponies!” Dempsey asked. “Nien, they are MEINE ponies!” Richtofen ran over to see what ponies had been shot to pieces, luckily they were all guard ponies or ones he did not care for, but there were a few Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and others he cared for among the shot ponies, the next one up was his Twilight Sparkle, that he grabbed, and put in his pocket. “If you are going to massacre my ponies, at least have the courtesy to shoot the Flash Sentry dolls, I despise them.” With that, Richtofen headed back to his bed, only to be halted when he heard Samantha’s booming voice. “Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey, Takeo Masaki, Nikolai Belinski, you will pay for not freeing me from Agartha.” The Demonic Announcer, the imprisoned Samantha, said. “Oh yeah little girl, what are you going to to, talk us to death?” Dempsey gloated, believing she could not hurt them. Suddenly they were each surrounded by orbs of light, lifted off the ground, and vanished. //-------------------------------------------------------// A New World, an Old Mission //-------------------------------------------------------// A New World, an Old Mission Dempsey came to, lying in the mud that had seeped into the bunker. Lifting his head, he shook it to clear it of the clinging mud. His vision was blurry, all he could see where faint outlines of objects, no defined shapes, to rub his head, he raised a limb to rub his head, when he felt something hard slam into his forehead. “Ow,  don’t remember picking up a rock” After a few seconds his vision cleared, he tapped the end of his limb on his forehead, “Think, think, think, what happene-” It was then he realised his limb was covered in hair, and at the end was a hoof. “What the-” A german voice came in the form of a groan, “Dempsey, what happened to you?” “Richtofen, is that you, what do you mean?” Dempsey asked. “I don’t mean to alarm you, but-” Richtofen began, out of Dempsey’s field of view.     Dempsey grew impatient, “Just spit it out!”     “You seem to have transformed into a pony.” Richtofen said.     “What? Where would-” Dempsey shut his muzzle when he saw that Richtofen was  pony, a light gray unicorn, with a black mane and tail. Looking down at his shadow, and legs, he realised that he too had become a pony, a white earth pony with an ammo belt and knife around his neck, lacking any form of a mane, instead he had his normal blonde hair style he had when he was human, and a short, near nonexistent tail, just as Richtofen had said. “Where are the others?”     Richtofen pointed a hoof to two other figures lying in the mud, Takeo, and Nikolai, both unconscious, but starting to come around.     “I think I drank too much vodka.” Nikolai said, he was an earth pony as well, with a light brown coat, darker scarf, and hat with the red star on it hid his chocolate brown mane. “So am I  only one seeing every one as ponies?”     Takeo was the next to answer, “No Nikolai, we are all ponies.” Takeo was a white pegasi, with a black mane and tale, with a samurai sword in its sheath at his hip. “So what is the plan now german?”     Suddenly, hordes of reanimated flash sentry dolls began to rise from the ground, groaning, and eyes shining yellow.     Always the first one to fire the shot, Dempsey fired his Mareser C96 at the first one, making its reanimated husk fall to the ground, killed. “Same as before, keep killing freak bags, save the girl, and find a way out of this place.”     “Some how I now find never ending hordes of the undead less terrifying, possible due to the fact that they are all Flash Sen-NIEN!” Richtofen stabben one that came near him with his horn. Only six had unearthed themselves, and after all were dealt with, Samantha came to speak once more. “Oh look, my little ponies, I wonder if they are enjoying themselves?” “What have you done to us Samantha?” Richtofen demanded. “Insurance to make sure that you will free me from my prison. And you are all no longer the men you were once, now you are Edward Richoofen, Tank Demanesey, Nikolai Poninsi, and Takeo Manesaki.” “Ha ha, they are pony puns on our names, very funny,” Demanesey said sarcastically, “Where the heck did you get this idea from anyway, Samantha?” “Actually you Demanesey, after all, you did suggest to Richoofen to give me some pony toys to play with, now I have some.” The little girl said, sounding so sweet and innocent “And I am no longer Samantha, from now on, you can call me, Samanetha Manesix.”     “AH, Manesix, like ‘Mane Six’, the six main character from the show, I would admire that for a moment if I weren't trying to fight for my life against undead Flash Sentry toys!”     “Very well Richoofen, carry on with your endeavor, but remember this, I am your only way of escaping.” Samanetha said, declaring that only be helping her, would they return home. “I WILL GET YOU SAMANETHA!” Richoofen yelled. “You can try, my little pony.” the Demonic Announcer said. Tank Demanesey grunted in pain, “That hurt, that actually hurt.” The Amareican pony turned to his comrades. “Lets just follow the plan and free the girl.” “To do that we must start up the 115 Conversion Generators, and arm ourselves to better fend of the wretched hordes.” Richoofen said. “We should start back at the bunker, and figure out our next move there.” Manesaki spoke next, “Doctor, explain these marks on our flanks, what are their meanings?” He pointed a hoof the his cutie mark, a red circle with red rays coming out of it. “Yeah, I’ve got one too, and so does Poninski.” Demanesey asked. “They are your cutie marks.” Richoofen said. “And they mean what exactly?” Demanesey asked. “They represent a pony’s special talent or ability.” Richoofen turned so his cutie mark of the Ray Gun Mk one was visible, “Mine represent my ability to do this.” Out of his horn came the blast of the Ray Gun, a green energy beam that exploded when it hit a Flash Sentry Zombie. “Demanesey’s of a gun and knife most likely represents his skills at combat,” He looked to Poninski, whose was of the Hammer and Sickle. “Yours represents your support of the communist movement lead by Starlight Glimmer.“ He turned to Manesaki, inspecting his, whose was somewhat difficult to uncover its meaning, but eventually it came to him. “Yours Takeo, is of your loyalty and devotion to your homeland, and your Emperor.” Demanesey shot again, “Can we talk about our what ever marks later, when we are not being mobbed by the dead?” He fired repeatedly before knifing the closest zombie, resulting in a large explosion. “KABOOM!” Came Samanetha again, only for a brief moment, and all the zombies began to fall over, dead. “The flank, whose dropping bombs?” Demanesey asked, puzzled by the sudden explosion. “And what is with these pony puns, why can’t I stop them?!” “Its in our nature now Demanesey, we must flee while we can.” Richoofen stated. More groaning, and rising or more dead could be heard. “Let's move ponies!” Demanesey ordered, galloping after his allies, then stopping. “Did I seriously just say that?” “Yes, now RUN!” Takeo said. the four ran over the side of one of the trenches, and Demanesey threw a grenade at the floor, detonating a short distance from the revitalised Flash Sentries, blowing them to pieces. “Get used to the heat, ‘cuz you’re gonna burn in Tartarus.” The four galloped as fast at they could, running past zombies after them. “We must make it back the the bunker, it is the first Generator’s location.” With undead Flash Sentries on their tails, they turned to fight, trying to take down as many as they could. “We will hold them off, power the Generator.” Manesaki said, drawing his sword, Demanesey stayed behind with him to fight. With two of their party now gone, Richoofen and Poninski ran to the first Generator. “How will we power it?” The Earth Pony asked. Richoofen fiddles with dials, and hit it with his hoof, initializing the convergence sequence, the two glass cylinders filling with liquid 115. As soon as the sequence was initiated, new zombies came up from the floor, curiously they were not Flash Sentry, they were Royal Guard ponies, only in torn, damaged attire, and with glowing white eyes, and hooves. “Run is circle, run in circles!” The Germane pony yelled, then the two ran, only attacking when needed, but when Richoofen was cornered by several, he fired a Ray Gun blast at them. When the sequence finished, an energy pulse radiated from the machine, and caused  the guard zombies to fall to the ground, no longer functional. “Conversion Generator One is now online.” Came the departed Doctor Ludvig Manesix’s voice. “Doctor Manesix,” Richoofen said under his breath. He turned to Poninski, “ We must find-” “Hit the deck!” Came Demanesey’s call as he dove to prone into the bunker, landing a few hooves away from Richoofen and Poninski, accompanied by a flying Manesaki. After a millisecond, a series of five or so explosion occurred, with the groans of the undead Flash Sentries being silences. “You were saying Germane?” The Crystal Empire pony asked. “The brain, Dr. M-Manesix was infected...removed his brain...Must be here-” Suddenly Richoofen jumped past several Flash Sentry zombies. “Richoofen, what the flank do you think you’re doing?” Demanesey yelled, with Manesaki firing his newly acquired Remaneton shotgun at the zombies to clear a way for their ally. “Ze brain, must find ze brain.” He began looking for, and finding a jar filled with a gray object, and green fluid on a table. After his acquisition, he bolted for the stairs, Ray Gunning a Flash Sentry, to his amusement, in the process. //-------------------------------------------------------// Keep Killing Flash Zombies! //-------------------------------------------------------// Keep Killing Flash Zombies! As the unicorn tried to escape the mindless hordes, one blocked his escape, causing him to scream, and drop the brain. With Richoofen trapped by the zombies, the three Allied ponies kept the Flash Zombies off Richoofen any way they could. As the three fought of the undead masses, richoofen scoured the floor, mumbling “Where is the brain, where is the brain?” frantically to himself as he looked between the battling ponies, then one of the zombies came face to face with Richoofen, so he blasted its head off. “Not now Flash Sentry, I hate you, I even hate your eyes.”  When he found it, he dove to prone at it, and used his magic to bring it over to him, the brain was surrounded by a blue energy, and went into his open hooves. After reacquiring the brain, he stood up, and looked around, wondering where the rest of the zombies had gone. “What happened to all-” “Richoofen! What the buck is wrong with you! And what the hay is so bucking important about that brain?” Demanesey demanded. “Oh, come ON! Why can I not stop doing that?” Richoofen sighed heavily, “This brain is Doctor Manesix.” All three gave the doctor odd looks, until Manesaki spoke up, “He was the the one you-” “I cut the brain out off. Yes.” Richoofen finished, and began to tell the tale of what happened to his superior, and the leader of Group 935, prior to their intervention. “He became sick, like on of them.” He pointed a hoof to the remains of a Flash Sentry Zombie. “He tried to hold it off, but it overwhelmed him, it was the only thing I could do to save him.” He said somberly, as if regretting his actions. Then he spoke more confidently, but he will live again, that I promise you my dear Manesix.” “Then how do you propose this will come about?” Poninski asked. “There were parts to a sky drone around the site, if Samanetha did truly recreate this site, those parts may exist in some form, Manesix could use that as a body, possible aiding us in our fight for survival.” Richoofen stated. “That all sounds fine and dandy, but where are these parts?” Demanesey asked. “Mechanization is an abomination, machines are without souls, without honor.” Manesaki chimed in, his strict code of honor causing this outburst. Ignoring his comrade’s comment, Poninski asked. “What is out next move, Germane?” Richoofen walked over to a hole in the roof, and looked towards a blue shaft of light, and checked a map of the site on a table. “Next we head to Generator 3, there is an ancient box there that contains weapons that can aid our fight for survival.” “Don’t we need to have all generators on?” Poninski asked. “We do, but they do not need to be turned on in order, only activated all at one time.” Richoofen said, and tried to open a door, but it wouldn’t budge. “Why won't you open?” He asked, pushing on it with all his might, then he noticed a slot, “What do we have here?” Upon closer inspection, Richoofen revealed that it required a sort of currency to be opened. “This is interesting, have a look.” All four crowded around the slot, with read ‘1500’, “Apparently it requires money to be opened.” Suddenly, weight materialized in their pockets, all four reached in, and pulled a counter, each displaying a number, and with a sort of plug at the end. “What function to these serve, Doc?” Demanesey questioned curiously. “I have no idea, I have never seen such instruments before, maybe they-” Richoofen stopped when he heard the door open, and saw Manesaki pull his counter out of the slot, the number on his having been reduced from 1560 to 60. “So that is what they are for, these allow us to open doors, but only if the required point value has been accumulated, interesting.” Poninski fired at a zombie that tore down a barrier, his points increasing after each hit, and after it was dealt with, as he repaired the barrier it tore down, and the points on his counter increased by ten. “That’s all very interesting Richoofen, but can we talk about this when we are not under attack by the hordes?” “I agree, now run!” Manesaki said, and the four bolted out of the Laboratory bunker, running past a tunnel in the trenches, in addition to a wooden building, after reaching the end of the trench, through it multiple turns, they reached a second door, with a ‘1750’ on it. “Who has 1750?” Richoofen asked frantically, hearing the moaning and groaning of the zombie ponies approaching, “It appears I lack the necessary funding.” All four checked their counters, “Not enough,” Demanesey said. “The distribution of wealth is part of a broken system,” Poninski commented. “I am a servant of the Emperor, I have little wealth.” Manesaki said. None had the required number. “Then who is the closest?” Manesaki questioned. “I.” Poninski said, aiming at the corner where the Flash Sentries would come, and when he saw the yellow glow, he threw a grenade, and after it exploded, sending a crawler to them, he had the necessary points to open the door. Galloping up the stairs, the ancient box shining the blue light was in front of them, they ran to it to get other weapons, but upon reaching it, they found it needed a supply of One-One-Five to activate its power. “Turn on the generator, QUICKLY!” Manesaki said, trying to keep the zombies off the stairs. When the Generator was turned on, Royal Guard Zombies glowing white reappeared. “Are you behind this Samanetha?” Richoofen yelled. Him, Demanesey and Poninski trotted around the generator, allowing the glass containers to fill with liquid One-One-Five. After filling to capacity, and energy pulse caused the guards to collapse. The first one to hit the box, a large stone container with two blue question marks on it and Starswirl The Bearded’s head on the front, was Demanesey, but he lacked the points to open it. “What does money have to do with it?” “Stand aside Demanesey.” Richoofen said, and after paying the required points, the broken lid lifted, and various weapons displaced from their time appeared, and disappeared, the weapons cycling through again and again until stopping on MLP-40 adjustable stock, Richoofen’s favorite weapon. “Of course they have the best weapon ever made, what could be better than the MLP-40?” Taking it he levitated it with his magic, and firing at the Flash Zombies to assist Manesaki. When one shot took of the undead pegasii’s head, he said, “That severed the Cerebral Cortex, I know these things, I’m a doctor.” “Gloat later, shoot now!” Demanesey yelled. “How am I to enjoy the deaths of flash Sentry if you won't stop shouting, a-mare-ican?” Richoofen retorted. The ground beneath them began to shake. “What abomination is that?” Manesaki asked, one of his wings pointed to a large mechanical alicorn, nearly 1,000 hooves in height. One of its massive hooves smashed the ground again, causing many of the zombies to fall on the ground allowing the four some room to move. Richoofen stopped to check its foot, a small hatch was lit up. At this sight, he made a mad dash for the hoofprint by the generator. “Oh sweet Luna, what is that idiot doing now.” Demanesey said, running towards Richoofen, likely to drag him by his neck back to the bunker. The two others followed. When the lights of the hatch lit up the hoofprint, and the red warning lights on the ground blinked, Richoofen aimed his weapon the shoot the hoof. “Richoofen, over here, NOW!” Poninski yelled, and Demanesey lunged at him, making him miss his shot, and then fired wildly from the impact, accidentally dispatching several zombies. The mechanical hoof slammed down on the soldiers. The only thing any of the four ponies saw had been an intense white-yellow light then completely surrounded them. Manesaki unfurled his wings to shield his eyes, but they were stopped by cold metal, then the lights dimmed, and he saw a door open, the other three were blinking their eyes furiously from the intense light, now the light had dimmed, and his eyes readjusted. “Where are we?” “We are in Celestia’s head.” Richoofen said simply. Demanesey was sitting on the floor, shaking his head, with his hoof holding the top as if shaking it would cause it to fall off. “The robot?” “Yes.” Richoofen said. Manesaki did not understand the answer, neither did the others. “No, where are we?” Richoofen groaned. “We are inside Celestia.” “But what happened to the robot?” Manesaki asked. Richoofen didn’t reply with words, only face-hoofed, and pointed with his other hoof at a series of letters on the wall spelling “CELESTIA”. Poninski was seen examining the room then he spoke, “Oh, I get it, The robot is called ‘Celestia’.” “Yes, now we must get the part, and leave.” Richoofen said, running in front of Demanesey for what looked like a set of wings on a table under the viewer before pressing a red button. Upon hearing they were in the robot, Manesaki wanted to escape the machine, the idea of being inside something that lacked a soul disturbed him. After the button was pressed, Dr. Manesix’s prerecorded voice said, “Purge sequence initiated. Ten, Nine, Eight…” The room was illuminated by red lights, and smoke of steam, Manesaki did not know what it was, came up from the floor grating. They reload their weapons, and then the four went into each of the four escape pods, and were promptly ejected from the head. “GRAHHH!” Manesaki yelled as he was shot out of the robot, unable to spread his wings because the force of the air would snap them like twigs. The other three were in similar conditions, falling to the fast approaching ground. When they impacted, their hearing and vision had been distorted for moment. Manesaki’s insides felt like they had been shaken, not stirred. “At least I’m still in one piece.” Damanesey groaned, groaned, clearly feeling no better. “Initial test subjects failed to survive the purge sequence, hence the addition of the velocity compensator.” Richoofen stated, unsteady on his hooves. “I feel like day after drinking too much-” Poninski failed to complete his sentence when he looked like he was about to vomit. “Do not worry, the feeling is only temporary…” Richoofen informed the earth pony, helping him to his hooves with his magic. “...But we still have our other problem to deal with.” Demanesey said, jamming his knife into a Flash Zombie’s head. “Now stay dead.” after seeing another of the soulless undead approaching, Manesaki reached for his Type Pony-Five, in all that had happened the pegasus had forgotten to aim, and the Zombies was upon him before he could aim. He stumbled back after being hit once, and was saved when Poninski threw a nearby axe at the undead, who then helped him up. Poninski grabbed his hoof as he pulled him up out of the mud. When they rejoined their comrades, they proceeded through the Workshop, and into No Man’s Land, where the Excavation Site was. All four galloped as fast as their hooves could carry them, which was strange, as Manesaki could just as easily have flown beside them. “The mound, thats where you first saw them?” Demanesey asked as they galloped past the excavation site, and into one of the robot’s hoof prints. A large stone chest with glowing blue lines was present by a wall. “We shall see the undead in higher numbers.” Richoofen replied. All around them dirt was thrown up by the undead rising from the ground, far behind the four, one of the other giant mechs lifted itself up from the ground. With the undead hot on his hooves, Richoofen pulled out his MLP 40 to get them off his tail. However, something bizarre happened after the first kill, the chest’s lid opened, its inside blazing with cold blue flames, and for each of the Flash Zombies that were killed, a yellow ball of light was absorbed into it. “KEEP KILLING FREAKBAGS! I wanna see what happens.” Demansey yelles to the other allied ponies, who turned back to see the spectacle, before rushing to join their temporary allies. The robot began to walk closer. As more and more of the Undead rose, they limped toward the four, surrounding them. “Think this may have been a tactical miscalculation.” Demanesey said, stabbing a Flash zombie in the eye, making the yellow glow from Samanetha’s control fade as its soul, or at least what remained of it, was ripped from from his lifeless corpse and dragged into the chest. “Back the flank off you undead flesh-maggots!”” Taking his Fillyl assault rifle out, unloading into the crowd, the limbs and wings of the zombies being shot off before collapsing in a pile of bodies. Manesaki  was hacking and slashing like the samurai warrior he was trained to be, “Many have died on my blade, you shall be no different!” “I will break you.” Chopping one of the zombie’s off at the neck with an axe, and knifing another one, his muzzle hung open,“Such a giant... how could such a monstrous machine be possible?” Demansey was about to ask Poninski what he meant, when he saw where he was looking. “Why are you-Holy horseapples.” Demanesey commented upon seeing another of the Giant Mechs coming towards them. “MOOOOOVE!” He yelled as he dolfin dove out of the hoofprint as one of the metal hooves of the mech stomped on the ground, its mechanical wiring ear blisteringly loud. Three of them were able to escape the foot, but were separated. Richoofen was on the steps leading to the excavation site, Poninski was lying in the mud on one of the tank pathways, and Demanesey was in a narrow pathway between two metal hooves. Lifting its mechanical limb from the mud, the mech continued its slow pace, its rear hoof replacing its front one in the hoofprint with the chest. “The power of Group Nine-Three-Five will assure Germany’s ultimate victory.” Richoofen said, watching the mechanical marvel he helped create walk away. “Is all you can think about is you stupid military group?” Demanesey asked the unicorn scientist angrily. “Because I don’t know if you just noticed, but that thing nearly crushed us!”  Demanesey's comment about Group Nine-Three-Five was incorrect, it was was not a military group, but a scientific organization, and one of the most intelligent individuals in the world. Before Richoofen could reply, Poninski chimed in. “The box, Giant’s hoof has closed it.” Both sets of eyes went to the box, and just as Poninski had said, its lid was indeed closed. Demanesey looked around, confused. “Wait, wasn’t there another one of us here?” The other two looked, and saw that they were missing Manesaki. All three looked in the direction of the robot, and then back in its hoofprint, where a pegasii’s body shape was depressed in the mud, this was easily distinguishable from the set of wings, and mud stained feathers. All three stared at the ground for what felt like several long moments, but had only been less than fifteen seconds. Finally one said what they were all thinking, and it was Poninski who said it. “You don’t think he...” “Yep.” Demanesey answered his unfinished question.
