The small contraption she had designed was of a kick pedal nature, a small grindstone was connected to it, meaning that when you pushed down on the pedal hard enough it would cause the stone to turn, automatically fixing even the most dulled of tools. As the pony finished, she got off of the small stool which she had sat upon, walking up to an average-sized jar. “Number three-hundred ninety-seven,” she said aloud as an excited look formed on her face. Pinkamena had always thought of what this would be like, and now she could find out first-hand! The pony grabbed the surgical scalpel from a small, blood covered table and dropped it next to the grindstone. She took a towel and rubbed the crimson liquid off of the valuable equipment, then began to sharpen it. “This is gonna be fun!” Pinkamena was bursting with excitement now. After looking at the clock she discovered she still had an hour or two, so she brought out an old friend, expertly stitched back together after her number was picked. “What’s that Dashie? You’re hungry?” The pink pony imitated her friend’s voice, which was hard to do, considering how long it had been since she last spoke. The pink Earth-pony took a small tray out of a nearby drawer, placing it down on a clean table before opening it. “I forgot how cool these looked!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she pulled out Rainbow Dash’s cutie marks. After examining them for a moment a great idea struck her. A needle along with a small spool of yarn was produced as she began work on a new piece of clothing. “Scootaloo!” Applebloom called as she found her target. The pegasus didn’t look up, instead she turned away. Scootaloo hadn’t been the same since Rainbow Dash disappeared, and although she had suggested foul- play be at hand no one believed her. Why, nopony had killed another for over a thousand years! Applebloom noticed Scootaloo was holding a switchblade in her left hoof, and that a steady stream of blood was trickling from a self-produced cut in her leg. “Scootaloo you’re… you’re bleeding.” Applebloom said in terror. “Your point being?” Rainbow Dash was the only family Scootaloo had, so when she had disappeared it permanently damaged Scootaloo’s social and emotional life. Leaving a disastrous toll on the fragile pegasus. The thing about the damaged pegasus was that she never learned how to use her wings, only using them to perform menial tasks, such as speeding her up while her scooter was in use. “That’s not healthy,” Applebloom pleaded that Scootaloo stop while the pegasus continued to look at the knife, stopping only as she stood up. “Don’t tell me what to do,” the pegasus dropped the blood drenched knife and walked away, attempting to fly, but dropping a few feet away. Applebloom began to cry once Scootaloo was far enough away. Why was Scootaloo doing this to herself? Why couldn’t she help her friend? Applebloom sat there, alone, wondering why she was so weak. “You know Dashie, it’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to work with a friend. The last time didn’t go so well, but I bet this time will!” Pinkie Pie sipped at the drink for a moment, then grimaced. “Yuck! Bad coffee,” the pony began to laugh while talking. “Oh you’re so silly!” she patted Rainbow Dash’s head for a moment and then got up. A chance to work with a friend, not something that happens a lot, and even though the last time didn’t go like she hoped, Pinkie Pie hoped this time would be better. The pony whose number she drew, she hoped, would stick around for awhile. But first, a few cupcakes would be needed ahead of time. Pinkie reached back into the jar, pulling out another piece of paper. “Alright Pinkie Pie, I’ll come around to your house in a bit, but I need to do something right now,” the mare replied as she was graciously invited to a party. “Okey-dokey!” Pinkie Pie replied as she hopped away, thinking of the fun she could have with her friend. “Praden is gonna be so good!” she said to herself after she arrived back at home. Within a few minutes the butcher was back in her workshop, sharpening the knife she used for making slits into the- Page 2: Michaela Chamberlainlower torso. Once again, a catchy tune was being sung by the pony as her workroutine fit into place, with the guest of honor arriving twenty minutes after Pinkie had stopped sharpening her equipment. After Rainbow Dash's murder, Praden, a pegasus, had mysteriously shown up in Ponyville.Pinkie was predictably eager to meet the town's newest mare. Praden was soon a best friend to Pinkamena, a replacement for Rainbow Dash.Yes, Dash and the new mare were alike in many ways, but Pinkie hoped atleast THIS pegasus would last longer than her old friend Dashie did.Pinkie heard the sound of the bakery door opening. She turned her attentionto Praden, who stood in the doorway. "Hiii Pinkie!" Praden sounded like she was looking forward to spending timewith her very best friend. "Hiya, Praden!! Hurry inside, we got lotsa fun stuff to do!" Pinkamena was just as excited as Praden, if not more. Praden eagerly stepped inside, the door shutting behind her. Walking inPinkie's direction, she began to look around, noticing her and her best friend were alone. "Uh.. Pinkie? I thought this was a party?" Praden timidly asked, not trying to sound rude. Pinkie giggled before responding to her friend. "It IS a party silly! A party just for me and you!" "Oh, I should have known!" Praden blushed as an embarassed expression crossed her face. "That's ok! Wanna sample my new cupcake flavor?" Pinkie asked, a sly smile upturning the corners of her mouth. "Sure! What's the new flavor called, Pinkie?" "I was hoping you could help me with that. Follow me!" Pinkie eagerly responded. The pink mare led the pegasus upstairs to her kitchen, where fresh yellow-white cupcakes lay atop the stove. They were in a cupcake tray of six, each topped with rainbow colored icing. "Here ya go! Eat up!" Pinkie held out a cupcake to her friend. "My, my Pinkie Pie! They sure do look delicious!" The Earth pony blushed at the compliment. Then watched as Praden took thefirst bite of her cupcake. "Mmmm, these taste even better than they look!!" Praden noted, as she yawned."Say.. Pinkie what's in this cupcake?" the pegasus questioned as she tried tokeep her eyelids from closing.Pinkie gasped. "You don't know the ingredients of a cupcake?!" the mare asked, shocked. "No, I do. I just..." Praden was interuppted by her own yawning, "don't knowwhat's in THIS cupcake. It's making me..." Another yawn, "sleepy..."The pink pony giggled. "Well why didn't ya just say so! Well um, let's see..."Praden was fighting sleep, she wanted to know why she was tired.Pinkie continued, "there's flour, and shortening, and salt, and sugar, and baking powder, and milk, and eggs,"the pegasus could not fight it anymore. As she drifted to sleep, she heard the main ingredient of the cupcake she'd just consumed. "OHHH! And, ground up sleeping pills!" Pinkie smiled as she made sure her friend was in a deep sleep.. Page 3: FiM LunaThe cyan Pegasus woke up in a dark basement, the likes of which was pitch black. All of a sudden, a bright light shined into her eyes, temporary blinding here for a short time. “HEYY!! Your awake. Finally. I didn't even put that many sleeping pills into it.” the pink earth pony exclaimed. “You have been asleep for over an hour an a half. Now we cant have as much fun as I wanted us to have” the pink pony looked at the still blinded Pegasus with a frown on her muzzle. “Where am I? Whats going on? Why am I tied down? Who are you? Pinkie pie?” the Pegasus said, a touch of fear and panic behind her voice. She was trying to move as well, but the restraints were more than a match for her. The only parts of her body she could move were her tail, and her wings, which were flapping frantically, to no avail. Even her wing power of over 14.6 Wingpower wasn't enough to tear or break the sturdy straps. “Hey calm down.” pinkamena said with a reassuring tone. The Pegasus started to calm down, but was still having a small panic attack. “and before we continue, please call me Pinkamena Diane Pie. And before I forget, welcome to sugercube corner, where we have the 'freshest' ingredients in Equestria.” Those words reignited the fear and panic in Praden, but the strong Pegasus stayed remotely calm. The she proceeded to speak, “ okay Pinkamena, what am I doing here? Is this some kind of joke? And why does there look like there is two pon-” she abruptly stopped as the rest of the room lit up, showing entrails and organs made to look like party supplies. The one thing that shocked her tho most was the Stitched- Together remains of Rainbow Dash. Praden cried at the sight of this. Rainbow dash just happened to be a foal-hood friend of her. Alongside Gilda the griffin, and Rainbow Dash, they were know as the best fliers at summer flight camp. Then she spotted something on the table. A skull placed as a centerpiece of a table. But this was not a pony skull; it was to large and also had a beak. She shivered a the thought at whom it might be, and didn't want to ask, but then she didn't have to as she looked around even more. She saw them. Gilda's talons, and her ring. Together, that ring and the two halo's that Praden and Rainbow Dash had formed the Colt of the wing. “Oh I see you've meet Rainbow Dash and from the looks of it, Gilda too!” Pinkamena said, rolling a cart over that was covered with a sheet of odd looking cloth, from the looks of which was blood stained. At the same time, Praden noticed the odd attire that the pink mare is wearing. A necklace made of unicorn's horns, a 'saddle' made of Pegasi wings, and a dress made out of what looked to be cutie marks of various ponies. Then, she noticed something that made her want to vomit. A hood made out of what looked like Rainbow's cutie mark. The mare proceeded to uncover the cart, revealing what looked to be a freshly sharpened cleaver, medical scalpels, and frighteningly, a large battery to which jumper cables were hooked up to. Praden was horrified. Was she going to die? Or was this going to just be a cruel joke? She knew Pinkie Pie was notorious for her Pranks and jokes, as well as Rainbow dash was. Hell, they were known to usually be hoof and hoof when it came to the subject. Pinkamena wasted no time, and immediately started to grab her 'Tools of the Trade', looking as if she had no remorse in the fact that this was her “Replacement” for Rainbow Dash, and that she was suffering the same fate as her dearest friend. Death, at her hooves. ..
