Rainbow's Padded Predicament
“I’m so happy you all could make it!” Twilight Sparkle exclaimed as the six ponies entered the gates to her castle, carrying their supplies for the night. “This is going to be the best slumber party ever!”
“I wouldn’t miss it for anything,” replied Rainbow Dash, and the other ponies nodded in agreement.
“Thanks girls. I’ve been so eager to do this ever since I moved into my new home.”
Indeed, ever since Twilight had moved into her new castle, following the unfortunate destruction on her library treehouse, she had been gradually acclimating herself to the new setting. There was nothing wrong with the castle, certainly, and it was even exciting, but for a young unicorn turned alicorn it was a big change from what she was used to. Sure, she had been all over inside of Celestia’s palace in Canterlot (one of the perks of being the Princess’ personal student), but she had never imagined having such a lavish dwelling of her very own. Frankly, she admitted to herself, it was a tad overwhelming.
That is why she was looking forward to this slumber party so much, the first since moving into the new castle. With Spike out of town on business she at last had the perfect opportunity for them to all get together for a real girls night. This would be an important moment for settling in, to help the castle feel more like home. Instead of her friends just working in the castle to decorate and help her move in, they would actually be using it, bringing life into her new home. Not to mention that the party was going to be tons of fun!
“OK girls, right this way.” Twilight led her friends through the house. “Applejack, you brought the food? Excellent, you can leave it right here in the dining area.” The orange pony placed a load of supplies on a nearby counter and then the six friends continued to walk through the castle. Upon arriving in the great chamber Twilight paused and instructed them to drop their things. The room was massive, with an ornate fireplace flickering against the far wall. Overhead a large chandelier hung, illuminating the room and causing the crystalline walls to shimmer. “We’ll spend the night here,” she told them, smiling. “There is ample floor space for everyone to sleep, as well as space for all the activities I have planned.”
“Um, sugarcube,” Applejack spoke up, “Would these happen to be the same activities you had planned at the last slumber party? And the one before that? And the one before that?”
That set off Pinkie Pie, who broke into a jingle of “And the one before that? And the one before that? And the one before that? And the one before that? And the one before that?”
A look of annoyance crossed Twilight’s face. “Yes, I admit that I have a tendency to repeat certain activities . . .”
Rainbow Dash laughed. “Repeat? You follow procedure as if you had a manual for slumber parties”.
Rarity and Applejack exchanged glances.
“I get the point,” Twilight continued. Anyway, I think we should start by . . .”
“Grabbing a bite to eat?” Rainbow Dash suggested.
“Well, yes,” Twilight grinned. “I actually was thinking about eating first as a matter of . . .” She stopped suddenly and glared at Rainbow Dash, who just snickered.
“It’s OK, Twilight. I’m with you, actually. I’ve been so busy busting clouds all afternoon that I haven’t had a moment to chow.”
The group returned to the dining area, having dropped off their supplies in the great chamber, and broke into Applejack’s delicious apple cuisine. As Fluttershy passed the food around they discussed what a wonderful night it was going to be. At the end of the meal Applejack presented them with a pair of apple pies. “I think we should take these back to the chamber and nibble on them as the party progresses,” she explained. “What do you say?”
“Great idea,” agreed Twilight. “I’ll carry the pies, Applejack, if you want to grab the cider.” With that they made their way back to the great chamber, where the real party was about to begin.

The night progressed well. They gave each other makeovers and told ghost stories. When it came time for s’mores the six ponies gathered around the fireplace with their chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers. The party had been a phenomenal success so far, and since it was well underway and the group was already starting to feel the effects of Applejack’s exquisite cider, Twilight concluded that this was the opportune moment to confront Rainbow Dash about a subject she had put a great deal of consideration into before the night began. She knew that it would be difficult, that it would be a tough sell to any pony, especially a pony as proud as Rainbow Dash, but she felt that it needed to be done. She couldn’t let it go, not after what happened the last time.
“Rainbow Dash,” Twilight began, “Do you remember the last sleepover we had at Rarity’s place?”
Rainbow Dash chuckled. “Just barely. I was really plastered that night”
Twilight smiled lightly as they pulled their marshmallows out of the fire, trying her best to approach the subject gently. “Yes,” she reasoned, “I think we all had our fill of cider that night, and there is nothing wrong with that. What’s more, I’m hoping that we end up having just as much fun tonight. But what I am really trying to get at is the couch.”
Rainbow Dash looked down sheepishly. “Oh yeah, that.” She paused for a moment and then looked back up, facing Twilight directly and speaking with great sincerity. “I’m really sorry about that, Twilight, but it was an accident and I can assure you that it won’t happen again. You don’t have anything to worry about.”
Twilight spoke very matter of factly. “Rainbow, you peed all over Rarity’s good couch. I know it was an accident, and I am not trying to chastise you. I just want to make sure that we don’t get a repeat of that night.”
“Look, Twilight, I said I wouldn’t let it happen again and I mean it. I forgot to go to the bathroom before I fell asleep and I drank way too much cider that night. I’ll make sure to pace myself and use the bathroom before I go to bed tonight.”
Twilight sighed and thought back to their last slumber party over at Rarity’s boutique. Applejack brought the cider, just like tonight, and they all got pretty hammered. Rainbow Dash, the cider lover that she was, passed out on Rarity’s fainting couch. The next morning she was found, still on the couch, in a puddle of her own urine. Her overfilled bladder had emptied itself into the fine upholstery and left the cushions soggy with her overnight leak. Upon waking up to the cool, clammy dampness, all the while surrounded by her friends who were staring down at her, Rainbow Dash had felt a shock of embarrassment. She slowly crawled out of the couch to survey the damage, and then apologized profusely to Rarity, who generously allowed her to use the washroom to clean the nightly pee from her sky blue coat without making a scene. Nobody held it against her. Even Rarity was forgiving after the initially shock, but what a shock it was. Once Rainbow Dash had returned from the washroom Rarity had had a few choice words that left her feeling even more humiliated. The biggest problem, though, was that although Rarity had little problem removing the stain, there remained a lingering odor which persisted for over a month before she was finally able to dissipate it, and at much effort. To make matters worse, this wasn’t even the first time it happened. It was actually the second. Yet another incident had occurred some time earlier at Fluttershy’s cottage. They were having a sleepover and Rainbow Dash leaked all over the yellow pegasus’ floor during the night, but that was a simple cleanup so there was no need to make an issue of it. The fainting couch, on the other hand, was another matter entirely. That was an ordeal. And that was why Twilight was emphatic that there would be no repeat of this incident on her lavish palace rugs.
“I know that you will try, and I believe that you can hold it through the night, but we want to be prepared just in case you do have an accident.” Twilight paused before continuing to the part that she knew would be the hardest. The part that she knew Rainbow Dash would want nothing to do with. “That is why I want you to wear a diaper tonight.” As she spoke she used her magic to withdraw a large package from a box in the corner of the room.
Rainbow Dash gawked at Twilight. “What?” she asked in shock. It was all she could muster as Twilight’s request left her dumbfounded.
Twilight placed the package on the table beside them. The thin plastic packaging rustled slightly as it made contact with the tabletop, and looked more than a little out of place in the extravagant chamber. The other ponies had paused and were watching them now as she spoke. “Adult diapers,” Twilight repeated. “I bought a pack of them for you and I want you to wear one when you go to sleep tonight just to ensure that if you do have an accident you won’t make a mess.”
Rainbow Dash continued to stare aghast at Twilight, then glared and became defensive. Her tone conveyed annoyance, or perhaps outright hostility, at such a request. “I’m not a foal, Twilight. I don’t need to wear diapers. I told you that I can handle myself and . . .”
Twilight cut her off. “Rainbow, this isn’t about treating you like a foal. I got these for you because they serve a specific purpose. I bought you the best diapers they had for sale. These are guaranteed not to leak and the tabs can be easily removed and reapplied so you can still use the toilet if you want. I got you the best because I really care about this, and I don’t want you to disappoint me. I spoke with all the others and they agreed that you should wear protection to bed, and they will back me up.”
Rainbow Dash now turned her glare toward the other four, who all turned their heads away to avoid making eye contact with the irritated pegasus. “So that’s it, then. You are all conspiring to humiliate me. I thought you were all my friends, but here you are trying to gang up on me. Do you have any idea what it could do to my reputation if someone found out that I was wearing . . . those?” She had let the sentence hang for a moment before settling on the last word, as she couldn’t bring herself to say the word ‘diapers’.
Rarity spoke up first. “Darling, please understand. We are your friends, and we aren’t trying to humiliate you. We are really trying to look out for you. We want to make sure that you don’t have another bad accident. I know diapers aren’t the most appealing attire, and it can be embarrassing, but aren’t they less embarrassing than leaving a mess in Twilight’s palace?”
“Aw shucks, Rainbow,” Applejack added. “It ain’t nothin’ to be ashamed of. Lots of ponies wet the bed from time to time. Heck, half of my family wears diapers. Applebloom wears them every night for her bedwetting and even Granny Smith is reaching that point in her life where she’s starting to lose bladder muscle control at night.”
“Besides,” Pinkie interjected excitedly, “You might enjoy it.” Twilight shot her a look and she backed down.
That didn’t make Rainbow Dash feel any better. She dropped the hostile tone a little, but remained defensive. “Look, girls, I understand what you are all saying, but I just can’t wear these . . . diapers. It’s just not for me. I’m going to be careful tonight and I won’t wet the bed again. You have my word.”
“Rainbow Dash,” Twilight began again, “I know you don’t want to wear them, but can you please do this for me? For all of us?”
Rainbow Dash stood silent. She hated it that they were trying to guilt her into this. What she hated more was that she knew, deep down, that they had a point, but her pride wouldn’t let her admit it. If she was wrong and she did have an accident it would make a bad mess in the palace, and it would reflect very poorly on her after promising not to. No, she told herself, pushing that nagging thought away, refusing to acknowledge it. She could hold her pee all through the night. Sure she could. All she had to do was take the proper precautions. Why couldn’t her friends understand this?
“Um, Rainbow Dash?” This time it was Fluttershy. Her voice displayed a timidity greater than usual, and Rainbow Dash could tell that it was a struggle for her to bring herself into this conversation. “If you want, Rainbow Dash . . . That is, if it would make you feel any better . . .” She paused for a moment and then looked down at her hooves, speaking even more softly than before. “I’d be willing to wear one too so you’re not alone.”
Rainbow Dash was momentarily struck by the shy pegasus’ willing act of sacrifice, and it pained her to see her friend so uncomfortably offering to humiliate herself for her sake. She dropped her aggressive demeanor and turned toward Fluttershy with a sympathetic look in her eyes, and after a moment of silence she finally sighed. “It’s OK, Fluttershy, that won’t be necessary.” Rainbow Dash turned back toward Twilight and her face grew darker again. “Fine, just give me the diapers.”
It saddened Twilight that her request had upset her good friend so much, but deep down she knew that it had to be done if they were going to have any more sleepovers with Rainbow Dash. They had all agreed that Rainbow Dash should wear protection to bed whenever they had a sleepover from this point on, but Twilight just hoped that this new move wouldn’t put a strain on their friendship. She realized how much Rainbow Dash must hate being pressured into wearing such foalish attire, and she would never forgive herself if such a silly thing drove a wedge between them. With that thought in mind she addressed Rainbow Dash again.
“Please don’t be mad at us, Rainbow. We really don’t think any differently about you because of this and not a word of it will leave this room.”
“You’re still awesome in my book,” Pinkie added.
“Hmpf,” Rainbow Dash scowled and carried the diaper package, along with her pajamas, into the bathroom.
The room was quiet for a moment as the other ponies watched Rainbow Dash skulk away with the pack of diapers and pajamas, attempting to hide the shame she felt. At last, it was Fluttershy who broke the silence. “Oh dear, do you think we were too hard on her? Maybe I shouldn’t have tried to force her so much.”
Despite the awareness that Fluttershy had been the gentlest among them in trying to make their case, the feeling was mutual in the room. Even though they had all agreed that this decision was for the best, not one of them was without regret at that moment.
“I think we should all show Rainbow our full support when she comes back,” Applejack said. “Let’s just not even mention the diapers and treat her extra special to remind her that she is our friend.”
“I think that is a wonderful idea,” Twilight replied, and the friends nodded in agreement.

Inside the bathroom Rainbow Dash stared down at the package of diapers. She didn’t make a move to open the plastic wrapping, but instead contemplated and studied it, working out in her mind how it had come to this. Her anger and frustration had mostly subsided as she had come to accept her fate for the night (although the feeling of embarrassment remained). They gave way to a new feeling of anxiety, and even a little bit of curiosity. How was she going to go through with this? No really, how was she going to do this? Sure, it’s as simple as putting on the diaper and going back out to the party, but first she would have to build up the nerves to actually put the diaper on. And once it was on, what would it feel like? She was curious, but that curiosity was not yet strong enough build up the mental fortitude she needed in order to go through with the act. So she just stood there, staring at the rectangular package.
Her eyes took in every detail of it. The way the plastic wrapping folded tightly around its contents. The light blue of the packaging, only slightly softer in color than her own coat. The front of the package depicted a pony couple on the left, a smiling mare and stallion who were advanced in age, but not so much so that they appeared sickly. Rainbow supposed that the image was meant to convey the message that needing diapers shouldn’t be a hindrance to one’s happiness, but she took it as a reminder that diapers were for ponies with medical problems, not for ponies in peak physical condition like herself. This simply made her even more unsure about wearing them. To the right of the couple was a photograph of one of the diapers taped up as it would be when wearing it, as though surrounding an invisible body. The diaper was white with a number of blue clouds adorning it. It didn’t really strike her as a foalish pattern, but it didn’t give her too much of a medical vibe either. Four tapes held the diaper together around its unseen wearer. As she continued to scan the package with her eyes, she spotted words like “maximum absorbency” and “lasts all night”, as well as instructions on how to adjust the tabs around one’s waist.
“Alright,” she said to herself at last. “Let’s do this.” With that she tore open the plastic wrapping, revealing a row of the absorbent white undergarments. The diapers were packed so tightly that they seemed to practically burst forth from the torn hole as she ripped open the packaging. Indeed, they were so tight that it was a struggle just to pull one of the diapers free from its snug wrapping.
Rainbow Dash turned the adult diaper over in her hooves, feeling it as she unfolded it. The plastic backing crinkled between her hooves, while the soft inner portion reminded her of a thick and fluffy cotton-like padding. The pattern on the shell of the diaper matched the blue clouds on the package. On the inside was a pair of leak guards to help keep any flowing moisture within the garment. The inside looked so white and clean that it almost seemed alien to her that this object was designed to absorb and hold a pony’s filth. The creases created by the way it was folded left the diaper in a U-shape that seemed to conform naturally to the shape of a pony’s behind. Indeed, it struck Rainbow Dash as perfectly fitted for her own bottom. And the biggest contributor to this was the one feature that stood to her the most, its size. These diapers were big. They were the biggest diapers she had ever seen, and left no question that they were made to fit a pony of her own size.
She placed the diaper on the bathroom rug with the padded side facing up and looked down at it. “Here we go,” she muttered uncertainly to herself as the awkward moment finally arrived. Slowly Rainbow Dash lowered her hindquarters to the floor until her private area made contact with the thick padding. It was interesting, for sure, as she felt the soft and cool padding press against her nether regions. She pulled the front of the diaper upward so that it covered her waist. As she did so the plastic shell gave off a gentle crinkling sound which only further reminded her of what she was doing. While holding the front in place with one hoof Rainbow Dash reached behind herself and pulled up the back of the diaper, which continued to crinkle as she brought the tapes forward. The taping process took a bit of trial and error, as she had never done this before and had to struggle with trying to get the tabs into the right places, but she finally succeeded in bringing it all together. First she fastened the bottom tapes to the front of the diaper, making sure to hold it close, and then she taped up the top, securing the diaper tightly around her body.
With that finished, Rainbow Dash finally allowed herself to take in the feeling of being diapered for the first time since she was a foal. It was certainly a curious sensation. The thick and puffy undergarment was snug around her behind. It was unlike any apparel she had ever tried on before. The midsection of the diaper created a barrier which spread her thighs apart and made it difficult to close her legs properly. In the back, it felt as though her entire posterior was wrapped in a cushion. She pressed the front of her diaper with her forehoof and heard it crinkle. The thin plastic pressed inward beneath her hoof and she felt the pressure of the soft padding against her fur. She patted her bottom a couple times and noted how the diaper absorbed the impact. She wouldn’t describe this new feeling as uncomfortable, just unusual. It was a feeling that she thought would require some time for getting used to, but that she could eventually find relaxing if it wasn’t so embarrassing and awkward.
The only issue left was her pride. She looked into the bathroom mirror and took in the sight. There she was, Rainbow Dash, a grown mare and Ponyville’s greatest daredevil, standing in a puffy white diaper. One thing was for certain, these diapers were made for absorbency, not discretion. The thick padding gave her behind a significant size enhancement. Quickly, as though to hide her condition with haste, she slipped into her pajamas, a blue and yellow theme based on the Wonderbolts’ uniforms. When she turned to look at her backside though, there was still a very noticeable bulge beneath the cloth. She frowned at the realization that everyone would be able to see that beneath her pajamas she was wearing an adult diaper.
For the longest time she just stood silently in the bathroom, wondering how she could go back out there and face her friends. Would she be able to handle the humiliation of her very obvious diaper? There was only one way to find out. Rainbow Dash took a deep breath and opened the bathroom door. She stood frozen in place upon seeing the other ponies sitting in a circle in the main room, relaxed and having fun with whatever activity they had moved on to. When the others noticed her in the doorway and glanced in her direction she looked down and tried to appear inconspicuous, without much luck.
The other five friends continued to gaze at Rainbow Dash, waiting for her to walk over and join the group, but she simply stood in place. Finally it was Twilight Sparkle who spoke. “Come on over, Rainbow,” she called in a cheery manner. Her tone was bright and welcoming. “You’re just in time for truth or dare”.
“Oh, um, OK,” Rainbow Dash replied nervously. As she slowly advanced toward the group she could feel the diaper impairing her ability to walk normally, forcing her into a slight waddle. She hoped it wasn’t too noticeable, but if it was then none of the others showed any sign of it. Nevertheless, her nerves were getting to her and her eyes shifted anxiously as she approached the circle. With every step she felt the padding rub against her thighs, heightening her levels of embarrassment and stress until she at last reached the group.
“Have a seat,” beckoned Applejack, who motioned for Rainbow Dash to take a place on the floor between herself and Pinkie Pie. Neither of them, nor anyone else in the room, gave any indication of having noticed her bulging rear end, but she could sense an air of tension in the room, as though they were aware of her current anxiety and were trying their best not to upset her. Obliging her friends, Rainbow Dash took a seat on the floor as invited. As she did so she felt her bottom press into the soft cushion of the thick diaper, like sitting on a pillow. The feeling may have even been comfortable were it not also making her feel so self-conscious.
Applejack held a glass out to the seated pegasus. “Grab yourself a cider,” the farm pony offered. Rainbow Dash took the glass and proceeded to drink. Maybe, she thought to herself, that is what she really needed. Perhaps a bit of alcohol would help calm her nerves. Indeed, as the game progressed (and she finished off more glasses of cider) she relaxed a little, but the awareness of her predicament was never far from her mind. Nevertheless, she didn’t want to lose face in front of her friends, so she was determined not to complain any more about it. The subject of the diapers hadn’t come up again, and probably wouldn’t have at all were it not for a rather clever idea for revenge that presented itself.
Being the last one to sit down in the circle, Rainbow Dash was the last to have a turn at truth or dare. After answering some silly question from Pinkie Pie, she turned to Twilight, who had been the first one to take a turn. “Twilight Sparkle,” she began in tone that suggested the alcohol was really taking its effect, “truth or dare?” The last part came out sounding as though she was issuing a challenge.
“Hmm,” Twilight considered. “I guess I’m not much of a princess if I’m not willing to take risks. Dare.”
Rainbow Dash grinned and looked Twilight in the face. Her own face wobbled a bit, suggesting that she was having trouble focusing properly, no doubt a result of the cider. “I dare you,” she paused for a few seconds, preparing herself for her moment of triumph, then continued, “to put on one of those diapers and wear it to sleep tonight.” She smirked at this moment of victory.
The other ponies stared in shock at the request. It was one thing, they thought, to ask that a pony with bedwetting problems wear a diaper for protection. It was another to use the humiliation of a diaper for some sort of vengeance. The only one not seemingly dumbfounded by this dare was Twilight Sparkle herself, who just smiled back at Rainbow Dash. “Very well then,” the Princess replied. “I’ll show you that wearing a diaper is no big deal at all.” And with that she carried the package of diapers into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.
The other ponies continued to gawk at Rainbow Dash. She lowered her head a bit, realizing from their reaction that she may have gone a little too far. But did she really, she wondered as she tried to justify her actions to herself. It’s only fair, right? Twilight was forcing her to wear a diaper, so why shouldn’t she do the same?
Rarity decided to speak up, not in a harsh manner, but rather in a tone that conveyed some understanding, along with disappointment. “Now Rainbow Dash, I know that you don’t enjoy wearing, well, those, but did you really have to take it out on Twilight? She was just trying to look out for everyone’s interests, but especially your own, and I don’t think that it is right for you to try to punish her for it.”
“It’s no punishment at all,” came a voice from the bathroom doorway, as Twilight opened the door and waltzed back out to the party, sporting a very large and very noticeable diaper as she walked. Rainbow Dash noted how short of a time Twilight had been in the bathroom compared to herself. “In fact, I think it is a rather clever dare. It’s exactly the sort of edgy and daring thing this game was meant for, and nobody has been hurt by it.” She turned from Rarity to Rainbow Dash. “You see, I told you that there was nothing wrong with wearing a diaper.”
“You mean you’re not upset with me?” asked Rainbow Dash.
“Well,” Twilight began, “I wasn’t exactly planning on spending the night in a diaper, and it is a bit awkward.” She turned around to gaze back at her padded posterior. “I just want you to really understand, Rainbow Dash, that I am not judging you and neither is anyone else here. Yes, it is a little embarrassing to be standing here in front of you all wearing a diaper, but it doesn’t change that we are here to have fun. Like I said, it is an awkward feeling. In fact, I think I am going to put my pajamas on now and cover this diaper up.” As she spoke she began to don her nighttime attire, a set of deep blue pajamas with images of stars and moons. “The point I am trying to make to you, Rainbow, is that this isn’t going to affect my night. I still intend to have fun, and I hope that you do as well despite your own situation.”
Rainbow Dash listened closely to Twilight (as closely as she could in her inebriated state) and felt a bit more comfortable. If Twilight wasn’t going to let wearing a diaper get in the way of a fun night, then maybe she shouldn’t either. She began to wonder why she had been so worked up about this in the first place. Twilight was right, the diaper is no big deal. Feelings of regret came over her as she thought back to the way she had treated her friends earlier, especially Twilight. She was there for a party and she wasn’t going to let her attire stop her.
“Now,” Twilight continued, “There is one more important thing I have to tell you all.” She paused to make sure that she had everyone’s undivided attention. “Pillow fight!”
Out of nowhere a dozen pillows flew across the room, crashing into them and then falling to the floor, where the friends proceeded to pick them up and pummel each other. “I’m so going to win this,” Rainbow Dash laughed as she clamored for pillows to toss at her friends.

“Rainbow Dash, are you OK?” Rainbow Dash stirred gently in response to the soft voice, but gave no reply. “Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy asked again, gently nudging her friend but to no avail.
“Don’t worry about her,” Twilight responded to her concerned friend. “She’ll be fine. She just needs to sleep it off.” Twilight looked down at the blue pegasus, who was currently passed out on the floor.
“How much did she even drink?” asked Rarity.
“Honestly,” Twilight replied, “I have no idea. I lost count pretty early on. I hope she took my advice about drinking a lot of water in between ciders or she is going to have a rough hangover in the morning.” Her gaze turned to Rainbow Dash’s bottom, the diaper bulging prominently under her pajamas. “Is my diaper that noticeable?” she asked, her tone displaying more a sense of curiosity than anything else. It was the first time the subject of diapers had come up since the dare, and with Rainbow Dash currently unconscious on the floor it appeared to be a safe time to discuss the subject. True to her question, though, Rainbow Dash’s diaper was anything but discreet. Even under her pajamas the shape stood out plainly, and the crinkling sound that night had not been very subtle.
“Very much so, darling,” replied Rarity. “If I must be frank, the two of you did look rather ridiculous tonight.”
“It was quite a job to keep from staring at both of y’all’s backsides,” Applejack added. “I have to say, you handled that dare quite well, and if you hadn’t helped Rainbow calm down I think the stress of the whole situation would have caused me to crack.”
“I think we all felt that way,” agreed Rarity. “We could all tell how nervous she was and it was just so difficult not to make light of it. I don’t think I could have made it the whole night just pretending I didn’t notice her feelings or her diaper. I think it was a huge relief to everyone that you were finally able to make her understand that we weren’t judging her, because that tension was just too thick. On that subject, now that she’s asleep I suppose you can take that thing off.” She waved her hoof at Twilight’s bottom as she spoke.
“No,” Twilight answered. “I am going to honor our agreement and wear it for the rest of the night. Everything I told Rainbow Dash was the truth. It’s just a garment and I’m not going to let it get to me, and if I have to let my pride suffer a little bit in order to give confidence to my friend then so be it.”
“That’s mighty fine of you, Twilight,” replied Applejack. “Not that we needed any remindin’, but you really are a good friend. I’m sure she’ll appreciate it in the morning.”
“I hope so,” said Twilight. “She sure put up a fuss, but then again she sure did drink a ton as well. I guess we’ll find out in the morning if it was worth all the trouble.” With that she covered Rainbow Dash with her blanket, then placed a pillow under her friend’s head.

Rainbow Dash felt the breeze over her wings. She was flying, but her maneuvers were highly erratic for some reason. She seemed to be in a slight daze and every twist and turn through the sky felt exaggerated. What should have been a gentle climb instead sent her rocketing high into the atmosphere. Not that she minded. In fact, the daredevil pegasus was loving the feeling. It had a dreamlike quality. She whirled and twirled herself through the air, bursting through clouds and soaring at otherworldly speeds. Higher and higher she rose, knowing that she should have left the safe level of the atmosphere long ago, but instead finding clear skies in all directions. This went on for hours and never once became dull. She didn’t ever want to stop for anything.
After a time though, she realized that she was going to have to take a break, if for nothing else than her own needs. She’d been having so much fun with her new style of flying that she hadn’t even noticed her increasing need to use the bathroom until the situation had become quite desperate. Rainbow Dash stopped midair and hovered for a moment to consider her predicament. Not only did she need to empty her bladder, but she needed to do it soon. Gone was the feeling of euphoria that came from her lightheaded flying and all she felt now was desperation for relief. Here she was though, presumably miles above the ground, with an immeasurable desire to urinate.
Well, there was only one thing to be done. Clenching her pelvic muscles tight, Rainbow Dash shot straight toward the ground, hoping she could hold her bladder long enough to get through the jarring trip to the surface to find a bathroom. Downward she sped, descending thousands of feet per second in her exaggerated state. It felt like an eternity, but after several minutes there was still no land. A sudden pain shot through her groin as the pressure within her bladder continued to increase, causing a momentary muscle spasm. She paused briefly in the air to get a hold of herself. Concentrating on her bladder muscles, she gripped them tightly to hold back their rapidly increasing contents. It wouldn’t be long now before she had an accident, and she knew she had to act quickly.
She was off again, soaring toward the seemingly nonexistent ground. Her eyes scanned the distance, but all she spotted as she traveled was layer after layer of cloud cover. A panic had begun to set in until at once something caught her eye. What was that? An unusual spot on a faraway cloud, but she couldn’t quite make out what it was. Rainbow Dash changed directions and flew toward the curious anomaly.
As she approached the cloud the shape began to take focus. She couldn’t believe her eyes at first, but upon stepping foot on the cloud there was no mistaking it. Here, high in the atmosphere atop a random cloud, was a shining white toilet. She examined the unusually placed lavatory for a moment, lifting the lid and even flushing it to see that it was indeed functional.
Abnormal as it may be, it was exactly what Rainbow Dash needed at that moment and she wasted no more time in sitting her bottom on the porcelain seat. At last she allowed her overstrained muscles to relax and felt the desperate pee escape from her private area. It was blissful to at last be free of her burden, and she let out a massive sigh of relief.
However, something immediately felt unusual. The whole process was oddly silent, lacking the usual tinkling sound of urine dribbling into the water of the toilet bowl. And for some reason she felt warmer around her underside, as well as damp . . .

Rainbow Dash awoke suddenly to a growing warmth around her crotch and quickly, with all her willpower, squeezed shut her bladder muscles. “Oh no,” she whispered to herself. Had she really just done what she thought she had? As she concentrated on holding her bladder closed she rubbed her hoof across her pajamas to assess the state of the diaper underneath. The damage wasn’t too severe, as she had managed to stem the flow before it grew out of control, but there was nevertheless a significant damp spot. There was no question about it. She had peed herself during her sleep. Rainbow Dash felt a fresh wave of shame pass over her as she was forced to admit that her friends were right. Rainbow Dash raised her head to take in her surroundings. It was difficult to make out the room with Luna’s new moon shining only the faintest hint of nocturnal light through the massive windows of the castle. She was laying on Twilight’s floor beneath her blanket, surrounded by all her friends who were fast asleep under their own covers. Their gentle snoring revealed that none were aware of her sudden waking, nor her embarrassing accident.
Fortunately, Rainbow Dash didn’t have much of a hangover because she had had the foresight to drink lots of water along with her cider. Unfortunately though, all that water had decided that it was now ready to leave her body. Rainbow Dash was seriously regretting only taking her diaper off once to use the toilet the previous evening. If only she had relieved herself once more before inevitably passing out (not that she was in any state to competently do so by that point anyway). Nevertheless, that was behind her now and she was currently presented with a new predicament. She was going to have to somehow get to the bathroom across the dark and crowded room in order to finish urinating without soaking her diaper any further. If there was any plus side at all to this, it was that she had awoken right as her bladder was beginning to open up, so the damp spot, although noticeable, was still relatively minor. This left her with aching muscles, however, as she was struggling to keep the floodgates closed. Much like in her dream, she needed relief and she needed it fast.
Rainbow Dash glanced around the room again. As her head arose to inspect the room she was overcome with another bout of dizziness and disorientation, and she could only vaguely make out the shapes of her friends surrounding her. This was a problem. Somehow she was going to have to get to that bathroom without tripping over her friends, or any of the other furniture hidden in the dark room, without being noticed. Stepping on another pony or sending a table crashing over would be a sure way to start a commotion and wake everyone up, and that was the last thing she wanted. No, she couldn’t bear the thought of any of her friends discovering that she had used her diaper, even if it was only a small amount.
She was just about to attempt her cautious journey to the bathroom, and without further delay given that the need to go was indeed rather dire, when a second option popped into her mind. Not a valid option, of course, since the mere idea was preposterous, but just a thought that had come to her. That is, her diaper was already slightly wet, so if she really didn’t want to get up then she could always just finish peeing right there in the diaper. It was an amusing thought, but she didn’t have time entertain such nonsense when there was an urgent need to get to the bathroom.
Once more Rainbow Dash lifted her head, this time preparing to stand up, but once again she felt a wave of disorientation. She laid back down to consider her options, with that final choice still hanging in the back of her mind. Finishing her stream in her diaper would be unthinkable, but she just didn’t believe that she would be able to walk all the way across the room without stumbling over something in the dark in her still somewhat drunken state. Rainbow Dash was not the sort of pony to willingly soak a diaper, was she?
She weighed her options as she held her legs together to ease the pressure against her muscles, squeezing the wet padding between her thighs. Either she could walk across the room and almost certainly trip over one of the other ponies on the floor around her, or she could do her business right where she lay. Those were her only choices, and the more she thought about it the more she was liking the second one. Sure, it was unbecoming of a pegasus of her nature, but was it really any worse than having already peed her diaper in her sleep? And if the diaper really does hold, as the packaging promised, then she could just change out of it discreetly in the morning after returning to a more sober state of mind. Following a moment of contemplation it seemed ridiculous not to just do it right there. She was already wet, so what difference would it make? It was just too convenient. “OK, fine,” she whispered to herself softly, as she at last resolved to go to the bathroom in her diaper.
Rainbow Dash began taking deep breaths to prepare herself for what she was about to do. She felt the diaper crinkle under her pajamas. Its presence was at the front of her mind. Carefully, she turned so that she was lying flat on her back with her head gently elevated by her pillow, ensuring a comfortable position. Then she slowly began to uncross her legs. The pressure on her pelvic muscles increased as she spread her thighs apart. She gently rubbed her pajamas to feel the diaper underneath. Yes, everything was in order. Now was the moment to at last relieve her aching bladder.

It was a bizarre situation for sure, and she felt unsure of herself for doing it, but at the same time it was incredibly liberating. As though there was something right about it. At once her eyes shot open as the floodgates burst forth unexpectedly. The tiny trickle exploded into a raging torrent as her bladder muscles fully relaxed, releasing a heavy stream of urine into her thirsty diaper. She felt the growing warmth spread across her lower body as she peed herself, and was even sure that her ears could pick up a faint hissing sound in the air. As the flow continued she let out a sigh of relief, excited to at last be free of that intense pressure. Although a part of her still felt awkward using a diaper like a little foal, a growing part of her was enjoying the freedom and convenience it had given her. Did she dare to think what would have happened if she was not wearing protection? Her initial accident would have been all over the floor and her friends would have immediately discovered it when she’d inadvertently woken them up stumbling across the room. Instead though, the diaper had saved her a lot of trouble, and she was happy for it. She never would have guessed it before, but she couldn’t help but experience a sense of comfort at being able to free herself from the need to get to the bathroom. A gentle, relaxed smile grew on her face as she took in the advancing warmth. She couldn’t remember the last time she had had to go so bad, and the relief was heavenly. The gushing spring between her legs almost seemed as though it would go on forever. She sure had drunk a lot of cider! Her fluffy diaper was swelling up significantly as it absorbed her pee. The once dry and cottony padding had expanded and was becoming bloated as she proceeded to urinate heavily into it. Would it ever end? The stream was just as heavy now as when the dam first broke and it showed no signs of stopping. Rainbow Dash started to wonder if the diaper would be able to hold her entire flood. She sensed liquid pooling in the heavily saturated garment, but it always seemed to find its way into the thick padding. Twilight wasn’t kidding about how absorbent these things were.
At long last Rainbow Dash could feel the stream begin to subside. The raging torrent slowed down once more to a soft trickle, and then finally ceased. She gave her muscles a gentle squeeze to clear out any excess urine residing in her urethra, and then sighed once more. What a relief! Although she had finished peeing herself, the warmth and wetness remained around her, stored safely within her padding.
She felt around her pajamas. No wet spots. With all she threw at it, the diaper had done its job. She poked at the padding with her hoof and noted how soggy and thick it was. Her bottom squished into the saturated garment. She had really peed a lot. Slowly, she removed her blanket and stood up. After taking a moment to adjust to the expected dizziness, she took in the immense weight of the filled diaper. It sagged beneath her due to the sheer volume of urine the blue pegasus had released into it and seemed to pull her down.
That was enough messing around with the diaper for now, though. Rainbow Dash needed to sleep if she wanted to feel up to hanging out with her friends in the morning. She covered herself back up beneath her blanket and closed her eyes. Somehow, quite contrary to her earlier sentiments, the diaper helped her to relax now. She concentrated on the pleasant warmth and drifted quickly back into sleep.

Rainbow Dash slowly opened her eyes. “Oh, look who’s up!” came an excited voice from across the room, and before she could register what exactly was going on a pink pony with a euphoric grin had bounded into her field of vision. “Good morning sleepy head,” Pinkie Pie beamed.
If Rainbow Dash hadn’t been awake before, she certainly was now. With a loud yawn she sat up and stretched her forelegs. The room was now brightly lit by the morning sun, and from the looks of it she was the last one up. Every other pile of blankets and pillows around the room now lay empty, and Pinkie Pie was the only pony present besides herself. Aside from a slight grogginess she had to admit that she didn’t feel half bad considering how much she drank and partied the night before. All that extra water between ciders really paid off, even if it did mean needing to use her diaper during the night. Come to think of it, that diaper really paid off too. She thought back to the night before. Had it all really happened? The memory was a blur, no doubt thanks to her tipsiness at the time, and she may have even considered it all a dream were it not for the very noticeable dampness and bulk around her waist. She thought back to her emotions at the time. That feeling of freedom and pleasure. It seemed so strange now. Had she really enjoyed it that much? After putting up so much of a fight the previous evening?
Her mind went back to the diaper itself. The comforting warmth she had enjoyed so much during the night had now changed to a cool and clammy feeling. The soggy undergarment seemed to cling to her body, pulling it down by the weight of her previous night’s urine. She supposed that it would be best to change out of it now, and felt relieved that Twilight always let her use the shower in the mornings after their sleepovers (even when she wasn’t wetting the bed). She yawned again and looked at Pinkie Pie. “Good morning, Pinkie,” she announced back with a smile, both out of genuine happiness over an agreeable night and a desire to hide her current intentions. “Did you sleep well?”
“Oh yes, very,” the pink pony answered giddily. “I think we all did, but I probably slept the best because I was the first one up and I feel like a million bits. Then Applejack got up, then Twilight, then Fluttershy, then Rarity, and now you’re up, so we’re all up.” She gazed at Rainbow Dash and smiled, then continued to excitedly recount the morning’s events. “So Twilight said that since nobody has any plans for today that we are welcome to stay for a while, and Rarity and Fluttershy were feeling hungry so Applejack decided to whip up some of her delicious apple pancakes, and the others went to help her get the breakfast set up, but I felt sad because you were still asleep and were going to miss out on it, so I decided to wait here to tell you about it when you woke up, but you woke up right after everyone left, which means that the pancakes probably haven’t even started yet, so that gives you plenty of time to get cleaned up and changed out of your wet diaper, and I’ll go . . .”
“What?!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed in sudden shock. Until that moment she had been simply letting Pinkie ramble on, waiting for her to finish talking so she could make her move toward the bathroom, but when Pinkie mentioned the state of her diaper her attitude immediately changed to one of worry. Somehow her friends had found out that she was wearing a wet diaper, even if they just thought it was an accident. “Pinkie, h-how do you know about that?” she asked nervously. She started to frantically examine herself. “Did I leak through my pajamas? Is it the smell? I smell like pee, don’t I?”
“Calm down, silly,” Pinkie Pie tried to reassure her. “Don’t worry, you don’t smell.”
“Then how . . . ?
Pinkie Pie cut her off. “I was watching you last night.”
“What?!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed again in shock. Does that mean she saw everything?
“Oh, I saw everything. You were really enjoying yourself toward the end there.”
Rainbow Dash started to hyperventilate. This was it. Her life was officially over. Goodbye to her daredevil reputation. Goodbye to any chance of joining the Wonderbolts. Now she was just the pony who chose to pee herself and liked it.
“Relax, Rainbow Dash. Don’t worry so much about it. I’m not going to tell anyone if you don’t want me to. Trust me, I’ve done some weird things before too.”
“Like going to the bathroom on yourself?” Rainbow Dash questioned sarcastically.
“Well, no,” the pink pony answered. “I haven’t done that, but if going to the bathroom on yourself is something that makes you happy then it’s perfectly alright by me.” She grinned, a very genuine smile of the type her friends had grown to recognize from her, and Rainbow Dash had no doubts of her sincerity.
“Th-thanks,” replied Rainbow Dash, who smiled back as though a thousand pounds had just been lifted from her shoulders. Pinkie Pie threw her arms over Rainbow Dash’s shoulders and pulled her into a tight hug, which was joyfully returned. “Well,” Rainbow Dash began after they finally broke off the hug, “I suppose I had better get changed out of this thing.”
“OK then. Take your time. The pancakes won’t be done for a while. I’ll be down in the kitchen helping Applejack.”
“Thanks again, Pinkie.” She watched as the pink pony trotted out of the room and mused over how she was being spied on in the dark the night before. She had been so sure that she was safe, but in the end she had forgotten just how unpredictable and random Pinkie Pie could be. Ultimately though there was no harm done, so she made her way to the bathroom feeling relaxed and satisfied.
Once inside, and after making absolutely sure that the door was closed, Rainbow Dash began to undress herself. As the pajamas came off she finally got her first look at the engorged diaper. The bluish clouds had disappeared and the white plastic shell had taken on a yellowish tint around the soggy portions. What had appeared to be a puffy and soft undergarment the last time she had looked at it was now sagging and bloated with urine. Although she had noticed a difference in the way she walked when she had first put the diaper on, that was nothing compared to her impaired gait now that the diaper was expanded with moisture.
Rainbow Dash was preparing to unfasten the tapes holding her diaper together when a new thought came to her. After examining the diaper she had noticed that, although it was extremely soggy, there were areas high in the front and the back that hadn’t absorbed any moisture yet. She had intended to use the toilet before her shower, as her bladder had refilled itself in the past several hours due to the volumes of cider and water she had consumed, but why not instead put her padded protection to the test? The package did promise maximum absorbency and multiple wettings, after all. Besides, after the whole episode the night before she was curious to try something else with her diaper. That is, on top of her full bladder, there was another new sensation deep within her body. Perhaps it was all those delicious apple treats that she had eaten the night before, but she could feel a very noticeable weight deep in her bowels and knew that she was going to have a pretty urgent need to poop if she held it in much longer. There was something icky about the thought of it, but she couldn’t shake the nagging curiosity to know what it felt like to poop in her diaper. Rainbow Dash stood in the middle of Twilight’s bathroom so that any possible leaks would simply land on the marble tiles where they could be easily wiped up. Then she spread her hind legs, preparing herself for what she was about to do, and hoping that her pee would come out easier than it had the previous night. Perhaps it was because she was standing this time, or maybe it was due to the dampness of the used diaper helping to trigger it, or it may have even been that she felt more comfortable with the diaper now, but the pegasus noticed that her first dribble of urine required a great deal less effort than it had the night before. Within moments she could sense a growing warmth, and it felt amazing against the cool and clammy padding she had woken up in. As the trickle of her morning pee grew in intensity, the warmth spread throughout her diaper faster. She continued to relax her muscles until the faucet was turned up to full blast, absolutely soaking the absorbent garment around her. The bloated diaper continued to swell beyond any capacity she had imagined as the fountain between her legs emptied into it, but through it all it never leaked.
While the padding continued its work, she briefly debated her next move in her mind. Did she really want to go through with this? She could easily just take the diaper off after her leak was finished and sit on the toilet, saving herself a lot of work. Not to mention that it was still a rather strange and somewhat awkward feeling to suddenly discover that she enjoys wetting diapers, so going as far as to mess one may just be a bit overwhelming for one day. Nevertheless, the naughty part of her mind kept telling her that she wanted to go through with it. She wanted to poop in her diaper.
A mischievous grin crossed Rainbow Dash’s face and she squatted over Twilight’s floor and lifted her tail. The stream of urine continued to spill heavily into her diaper, but she wasn’t concerned about that right now. Instead, she focused on the weight in her bowels as she began to give her muscles a gentle push. Deep within her body she could feel the mass begin to move, but it was resisting the urge to make it all the way out. She grunted and pushed harder until at last the load had reached her gates. Slowly, her anal sphincter began to loosen when confronted with the weight behind it. With one more long push the seal finally broke, allowing its contents to slide slowly, but gently, from her body. Bit by bit the heavy load made its way into the back of her wet padding. In an effort to thoroughly clear her bowels Rainbow Dash gave yet another push, and was rewarded with a second helping of fresh horse apples. This second batch was softer than the first and did not spread her exit quite as wide. The soft mess slid smoothly out of her body in a long cord under her steady pressure, and as it settled itself in the bottom of her diaper the smell in the room intensified. She continued to push until the last of the warm manure had found its way into her soggy diaper. At last, she let out a sigh of relief as she finished pooping herself, finally free of the strain required to move her bowels. Rainbow Dash inhaled the aroma of her mess once more and smirked, knowing this was her little dirty secret. Behind her, the seat of her diaper sagged downward beneath the weight of her thick and heavy mess. She shook her behind and felt the drooping garment wobble beneath her as it emitted a soft crinkle. She wasn’t sure why she enjoyed this so much, and it worried her more than a little that she did, but she couldn’t deny that there was something about this diaper business that appealed to her. Something she never could have imagined the evening before as she argued so vehemently with her friends. And now, there was one last thing she wanted to do with her diaper before she finally took it off.
Rainbow Dash approached Twilight’s toilet and put the lid down. Then, with the utmost care, she turned around and placed her diapered bottom on it to sit down. She gently lowered her weight against the toilet lid and let her weight press into the overinflated diaper. A small dribble of pee escaped from around her legs as her body compressed the sodden padding, but she did not let that worry her. That could be wiped up in time. Reluctantly, Rainbow Dash slid off the toilet lid and wiped the leak clean with a wad of toilet paper. She grabbed a fresh garbage bag from Twilight’s cupboard and opened it so that it would be ready, then carefully began to unfasten the tapes of her diaper. As the diaper came undone and was carefully lowered from her body, Rainbow Dash got her first glimpse of its contents. The once white and cottony padding was now practically bursting with her straw colored liquid. In the back of the diaper were the remains of her mess. Once a thick and solid mass, her moment of sitting and rubbing the diaper had caused the brown manure to smear itself across the entire back portion of the garment. Now exposed directly to the air, the odor of her bowel waste engulfed the room. She turned herself around in front of the mirror to note that a significant portion of the smelly mess was still clinging to her bottom, and she concluded that she had better get into the shower quickly before any of it decided to drop off and land on Twilight’s beautiful marble floor.
She quickly dropped the filthy diaper into the garbage bag, but no sooner had her concern for Twilight’s floor crossed her mind than that very thing happened. Rainbow Dash felt something shift on her rump and then the next thing she saw was a tiny splotch landing on the bathroom tiles. She grumbled as she grabbed another wad of toilet paper, wetted it, and cleaned the drop of mess from the shining white marble. But as she bent over the toilet to drop the dirtied paper into the bowl she felt yet another piece of manure fall to the floor. “Oh horse apples,” she mumbled as she repeated the process once more, the appropriateness of her choice in cuss words not occurring to her until several seconds later, at which she giggled to herself.
Without wasting any more time, Rainbow Dash hopped into Twilight’s shower and pulled the curtain. More brown mess fell to the shower floor, but she didn’t give it a second thought since it would just be going down the drain. She started the water, allowing it to warm up, then turned on the shower head. Steaming hot water engulfed the rainbow pegasus. The refreshing shower dampened her mane and tail, and began to cleanse her body. Rainbow Dash turned her backside toward the shower head and lifted her tail to allow the rushing water a chance to clean the former contents of her bowels from her posterior. The water at the bottom of the shower turned a muddy brown as her waste was swept away, leaving only her glistening blue fur where it had previously resided. Then, as the last of it disappeared down the drain, the water once again returned to its proper shade. She rubbed the exterior of her anus down with her hoof just to make sure that the mess was all gone, then, using a washcloth, scrubbed her entire body clean.
She thought back to her dirty act as she washed herself, especially as she wiped around where the diaper was. Where she had once been filthy, she was now sparkling clean, but as much as the shower left her feeling refreshed, she couldn’t stop thinking about how much she had enjoyed being dirty. “So how did you sleep last night?” Twilight inquired.

As the three friends walked out of the room Twilight answered all of Rainbow Dash’s questions about the diapers, which were no doubt just simple curiosity as far as the purple pony was concerned.
