The Sad News
Rarity has been noticing Opalescence acting stranger then usual, in these days, So she decided to take her to the vet.
As she was waiting outside the doctor's office, she looked at the clock, It's already been eight minutes, Rarity began to get very worried. Until, the doctor finally called her to come in. As Rarity went to the Doctors office, He asked her to sit down.
"Is everything alright with her? She's been quite slow These past day's, I'm starting to get worried." said Rarity.
"Well, you see Rarity " Said The doctor. "We looked around you're cat and Noticed that, she is getting very old."
"O-Old?" Asked Rarity.
"How any Doctors told anything about How long will Opal.. Live?" said The Doctor.
"Well, one time, I took Opal to the vet, And they did say Opal will still live for 6 years!" Said Rarity
"And, how long time ago that was?" Asked the doctor.
"6 Years ago..." Said Rarity.
After the Vet visit, Rarity kept staring at Opalescence, when they were home. She didn't know Opal will pass away soon, Opal has always been her sweet little angel, what will she say to Sweetie Belle?
Until, It happened. Rarity took Opal to the vet, She sat outside the Doctor's office once again, looking at the clock. Looking and looking. Waiting for her Cat. Until, the doctor came out. Rarity stood up with hope in her eyes.
"S-So?!.."
"I'm sorry, Miss."
Rarity let out a small gasp, putting her hoof to her mouth. She ran in the room and saw Opal lying there, she wasn't breathing or moving. Rarity got Tears in her eyes. She pet Opal for the last time, and wrapped her aound a blanket. She found a nice little spot behind carousal boutique, where she digged a hole and buried Opal.
"Goodbye, My sweet Opal."
Rarity sat there, Crying. Wishing this would not happened, she just could not accept the fact that Her cat has past away.
The next morning Sweetie Belle woke up early and went to the kitchen. She noticed Rarity crying on top of the table, tears running down her cheek.
"What's wrong, Rarity?" Asked Sweetie. "I've never seen you so sad before."
"Sweetie B-Belle.." Said Rarity. "Y-You're big sister has to say, s-something.."
Sweetie Belle sat down next to Rarity. "What is it?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"It's about O-Opal.." Said Rarity.
"What's wrong with Opal?" Asked Sweetie. "Did she ran away or got lost?!"
"S-Something, way, worse.." Said Rarity.
"Then, what is it?" Asked Sweetie.
"You see, Sweetie Belle.. Opal was getting very old.." Rarity explained. "And so, She had to.."
"Huh?" Sweetie said.
"Pass away."  Said Rarity, as tears continued to fall down from her eyes.
"What?!" Sweetie Belle shouted.
"Yes, It's very t-tragic.." Rarity cried.
"N-No, this can't be true!" Sweetie shouted.
"I'm sorry Sweetie Belle!" Said Rarity. "That's just how it is!"
Sweetie Belle started to scream and cry, Along with Rarity next to her. They both hugged as they also cried about Opal's death.
Later that Day Many ponies came, Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. Even some of Sweetie Belle's friends came, Scootaloo, And AppleBloom.
"I'm so sorry, to hear about Opalescence." Said Twilight.
"Yeah, Meh'  too." Said Applejack.
"I know How much she meant to you.." Said Rainbow Dash.
"She was such a nice cat." Said Fluttershy.
"We just wanted to let you know, That we all are here for you Rarity." Said Pinkie Pie.
"Thank you, everypony." Said Rarity. "I don't know, what could I do Without you all here."
"I'm sorry about you're Cat, Sweetie Belle." Said Scootaloo.
"Yeah, Meh' too." Said AppleBloom. "It must be hard to lose a family member like That."
"Well, yeah." Said Sweetie Belle. "It is really hard, Thanks girls." Sweetie Smiled.
Rarity and Sweetie Belle hugged they're friend and smiled.
"Don't worry Rarity, Ah' know it's hard." Said Applejack. "But, everything will be okay."
"Yeah! Like AJ said! Said Rainbow Dash. "You'll accept it."
"Well, I hope so." said Rarity.
After a week, both Sweetie Belle and Rarity were continuing they're lives, both were happy again and had accepted the fact that Opal was gone. Rarity heard a knock on her door, as soon as she opened it, Twilight was infront of her.
"Hello, dear." Said Rarity.
"Hey, Rarity." Said Twilight.
When Twilight came in, she sat down next to the table in the kitchen.
"So, how are you feeling?" Asked Twilight.
"A bit Better, honestly." Rarity replied.
"I'm still sorry about Opalescence." Said Twilight.
"It's alright, Darling." Rarity said. "I have truly accepted the fact that She has passed away and isn't here anymore."
"She was a good cat, wasn't she?" Asked Twilight.
"Yes, she was my Dear Cat, my little Angel." Said Rarity. "A lot of ponies, didn't feel the same way towards Opal, like me."
"Are you sure you are alright?"  Asked Twilight.
"Yes, I'm sure." said Rarity.
(This story is dedicated to My Cat Lucy. Who was 8 Year's old. She was a strong and beautiful cat. I loved every moment with her and truly miss her. Lucy 2007-2015)
