"If I know who my creator is...what can I do?"
Slide Fortissimo, 1st trombonist of the Royal Canterlot Orchestra, has been living in Ponyville with his twin brother Green Screen ever since he was created by Ben, a human on Earth. Three months ago, Slide was given special permission from Princess Celestia to visit his creator. Slide was overjoyed and happy to finally find out who his creator will look like and react to seeing him alive! After Slide returned from Earth, he thanked Princess Celestia for allowing him to see his creator, a human who really knows how to play the trombone as well!
It was the month of July, with the summer sun heating up the surrounding towns of Equestria, making everypony feeling hot and bothered. For that evening, Slide was making his way home from a wonderful concert in Canterlot. When he arrived home however, he opened the door to find the house vacant and silent.
"Hello? Is there anypony here?"
There was no response. Slide entered the house and closed the door behind him, putting his trombone case next to the couch and then placing his saddlebag onto a nearby shelf.
"Green! Look, I know we are twins but where are you?" Slide asked again, starting to get annoyed by the silence in the house.
He entered his brother's bedroom only to find it completely vacant, with the bed made and the room to be completely organized. Slide gasped. He began to panic. Where is my brother? he thought. Frantically, he began to search around the room including the closet. After a couple of minutes, he found a written note that said, "Do not open until July," in one of Green's desk drawers:
Hello Slide!
If you are reading this, then you are probably freaking out that I am not home. Don't worry and don't panic like you would do if I tell you bad news. This is actually good news for me because I am on Earth! I have also traveled to seek out who my creator was as well. In fact, I may live with him for a couple of months. By the time you get this note, it would have been three months since I've been living on Earth. If you have finished reading this note, thank you for finding it. Anyway, I promise to return after a couple more months.

P.S. Here's a joke for you. Since I'm trying to spread technology throughout Equestria, I found this joke to be rather amusing.

Slide began to laugh. He did find the joke rather amusing!
"Ha! What a joke! That one is a true classic."
He put the note away and closed the desk drawer.
"So why did my own twin brother leave to go Earth and stay there while I didn't?" he said to himself, calming down after reading the joke. "Maybe I should practice my trombone first before I send a note to him."
Slide closed the door to Green's bedroom and made his way downstairs to the living room. It was a modest living room with a couch and two chairs near a fireplace to keep warm during the winter. Slide took out his trombone, sat down on a chair with a music stand in front of him, and began to play a solo:

After playing the solo, Slide put his trombone away and went to the kitchen to make some dinner. Once he finished dinner, he went upstairs, took off his tuxedo, took a shower, and got into bed. Slide laid there with his head resting on the pillow. He felt tired and needed some rest. Maybe tomorrow, I should go back to Earth and convince Green Screen to come back to Equestria, Slide thought to himself. After turning out the bedside lamp, he yawned, stretched, and laid his head on the pillow, closing his eyes as he began to sleep, resting for a great day tomorrow.
The next morning, Slide woke up, yawned, made his bed, took a shower, and made his way to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast.
While eating a delicious plate of scrambled eggs, the doorbell rang.
"Just a minute!" Slide replied as he wiped his face with a napkin.
He got up and trotted over to the door. When he opened the door, he noticed that Derpy Hooves, the mailmare of Ponyville, had arrived with the daily mail delivery.
"Hello Slide! How are you today?" She asked happily.
"Fantastic!" replied Slide. "Thanks for delivering the mail. Would you like a muffin before you continue your mail run?"
Derpy thought for a second, and then happily agreed. "Of course! I occasionally get hungry while delivering the mail."
"Would you like a chocolate or blueberry?" Slide asked.
"Chocolate!"
"Alright then! I'll be right back!" Slide went into the kitchen and got a chocolate muffin out of the pantry. He then galloped back to the doorway and gave the muffin to Derpy.
"Okay then here you go. Have a great day Derpy!"
"You too Slide. And thanks for the muffin!" Derpy replied as she flew away from the house to continue her mail run.
"Wow. She is amazing," Slide said to himself. After finishing his breakfast, he read the morning newspaper, went upstairs to brush his teeth, got his saddlebags ready with his trombone case inside, and made his way downstairs to the front door.
"Well. Here it goes. I'm going to back to Earth!" He exclaimed as he opened the door, closing and locking the door behind him. He then rushed over to the Ponyville station to catch the Friendship Express to Canterlot. There he will once again ask Princess Celestia if he can go and visit his creator for the last time.
