It's A Pirate's Life For Me

I woke up, stretched, got out of bed, brushed my teeth, and ate oats and an apple just like I did everyday. As I put the dirty dishes in the sink I heard a rather loud thud and equally loud footsteps across the deck above. I sighed "Can't I just go one day without worrying about the ship?". I went above deck to see my first mate, Flint and another crew member trying to put out a small fire. "Put it out! Put it out!" "Get a bucket!" "Hurry before the Cap'n gets here!" "Where's my shower cap?!". Utter chaos had spurred on my ship because of a small fire. Agitated, I massaged my forehead "Alright! Alright! Flint, mind telling me what the hell is going on?" I asked. "Well you see Captain,  Honeybomb the cook had started a fire and brought the flaming pan onto the deck but then dropping it, then started this whole fiasco." said Flint. I sighed as I took a flask from my coat pocket and extinguished the flame with water. "I need everyone to go back to their duties, I have business with someone later today so I trust everyone to behave while I'm gone." I said using my, captain voice. I saw everyone salute and go back to their daily duties as I walked onto the dock. I only prayed something bad wouldn't happen while I was gone.

I walked on the dock of Pirate Island, the home of the world's greatest pirates and my home since I ran away. I had received word that one of my informants has information of a new treasure map that could possibly make me the greatest pirate of all Equestria. Entering the Broken Hoof Tavern, I went to my usual meeting place of one of my informants
