//-------------------------------------------------------// Heart of Warm and Cold -by Bro Dash- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Impact: Wrong Place, Wrong Time //-------------------------------------------------------// Impact: Wrong Place, Wrong Time Rainbow Dash and Gilda were just finishing their Daily exercise routine, coming to a halt at teh end of the road they were supposed to sprint along, and just got into a light jog. After a few moment, Dash stopped, stretching as she caught her breath, loosening herself up and winding down. Gilda decided to do the same. Two incredibly fit girls stretching in the midst of town. You'd expect there to be a lot of admirers enjoying that sight. Until Gilda gave the area a glance. Surprisingly, no one gawked or dropped jaws at them. "Ya know, this place is way different. Usually when I finished an exercise routine in Gryphoria, I'd have three or five guys hitting on me or making dirty remarks." "Oh yeah, Ponyville is way different. Perfect place to exercise, though. Long tracts of land, wide open, gusty plains without the brashness of heavy winds. Perfect." "This place sounds cooler by the minute. Actually give me a break from all the snide remarks." Just overhead, the clouds were plwed through by some unrecognizable, fast moving object, barreling through liek a cannonball until it came up on Ponyville. It's arc were a shallow one, as it were moving at an incredibly fast pace and had to have, jsut a moment ago, started losing altitude, aiming right into the ground. Fortunately, as the object came in for landing, the wind had slowed it down, and there jsut so happened to be the perfect pillow to soften the blow on it. Unfortunately, that such pillow was Gilda... Impact. Gilda were just about to open her mouth to respond to what dash had just said, and somethign large and heavy slammed into her, pile driving her into the ground, effectively winding her. Whatever it was barreled forward a good few meters before coming to a halt in an equally breathless mass. Only, ti could breathe. As Gilda slowly stood up, drawing in forceful breaths of anger, she felt her muscles strain her chest painful as she approached this thing, and the rage she had were only fueled by the fact that it were a person. He slowly rose off the ground, breathing heavily and straining in what had to be pain. Gilda could feel it too, he hit her at high velocity. She may need to check herself for broken bones. But him, he were strugglign to stand. He had to have broken something. "You little piece of-" Before she coudl finish, that stallion took off directly at the nearest building, which was directly ahead, picking up off the ground and ramming his wing into it's side. He let out a loud cry of pain, then slumped against the outside wall, shaking. Something clicked inside of Gilda. Foreign. Definitely hella foreign. She....liked it? "That was....hot.", she said, slack jaw. "Ugh.", Rainbow Dash picked herself up. Actually, she threw herself off her back right onto her feet like a professional fighter and dusted herself up. "Gilda, you alright?", she turned tot he gryphon. and noticed the downed stallion. "Uh...did you hit him?", she asked, approaching. "you didn't see that?", Gilda asked in disbelief. "See what?", she asked. "He...I can't even. I think he just slingshot his shoulder back into place!" "Really?", Rainbow Dash asked. She were even a bi impressed. "I...I'm not entirely sure but...Goddess, thats hot." "Wing....my...wing...", the stallion corrected breathlessly as he stood back up. "You alright?", he asked. "Uh...", Gilda did a quick check of herself. Arms, legs, neck, shook her head, bent her midrif a bit. No pain, save for a few bruises. Hurt a little. "Yeah, I'm fine." "Sorry about that.", he apologized, grabbing his neck. Stretched it out, then resounded a few pops before letting out a long sigh of relief. "That...hurt..." "Dude, what happened? How'd you dislocate your wing?", Rainbow Dash asked. "Sonic four G Immelmann." It was Rainbow Dash's turn to gawk, and her mouth fell agape with a smile, "you were doing a super sonic four g immelmann turn?", she asked. "Yeah, as you can see, failed.", he uprighted himself, popping his back in several place without much effort. "I think I need to see a doctor..." "Uh, I'll help you! I'll take oyu there!", Gilda took his side quickly. He limped one step, then bent down, popping a few joints in his leg before standing back upright. "Guh...Thanks for the help." And then Rainbow Dash flinched as a realization rolled over her mind. She squinted her eyes at the duo, rested one hand on her hip, and held her chin as they both limped off. A smile crossed her features, and she fanned her wings, bolting. It took a good few minutes for the two to actually make it to the Ponyville hospital, but both were thankful enough to jsut sit down. Unfortunately, the doctors wouldn't have that. Right inside the door, aid was given to them both and they were moved to a room just a ways down the hall for inspection. Gilda were fine. Just a few bumps and bruises she'd have to deal with. Some stretching and exercise would make those go away near instantly. However, this stallion that pile drove her into the ground was far off. Cracked ribs, many more bruises, his wing were still in pain, but definitely in it's socket again. He definitely did dislocate it. He were off way worse than Gilda. But it's nothign that a bit of relaxing couldn't fixed. "Well, I cna give you both a prescription of pain killers, especially you, Cloud Waltz. you, however, Gilda, you should be fine. I assume you don't need them?" "I'm fine." "I'm not. I could use a break from this.", Waltz said breathlessly. Teh doctor provided him with a bottle of medication. "Take two." Adn waltz did so immediately. Swallowed them both and took a few breaths before pushing himself off the table. Gilda was immediately at his side, helping in any way she can. "You're certainly friendly." "Well, I've not really seen anyone do something like that. You took care of business on sight.", she smiled. "So...you like that I did that?", Waltz asked. "Indeed I do, muscles." "Alright then.", he sighed. "I'm not going to be flying for a while. Might as wel check into the Ponyville hotel." "You can crash at my place if you want!", she chimed. "Really?", he asked. "that was...out of the blue. Didn't I hit you? At about three hundred kilometers an hour." "I'm alright, just a few bruises." "But I'm not! If I remember correctly, you were between me and the ground on impact. Seriously, no broken bones, no fractures, not even a crack?" "Well, I was a little winded, but nothing a bit of anger and adrenaline couldn't fix in seconds. Now ets get you home, sexy." "Alright, but you need to back off about a step or two, I haven't even caught your name." "Gilda. And yours is Cloud Waltz. You dance?" "No. I'm just an amazing flier." "Oh! I'm sure Dash could tell me a thing or two about you." "I'm sure this dash guy can if he's seen me in Manehatten." "Rainbow Dash is a she. and Manehatten? What are you doing here in Ponyville?" "I travel a lot. Often times, I don't know what direction I came form. Just pick a direction and go." "Here we are!", Gilda chimed, throwing an arm out to her own home. It were a rental, but in due time, she'd pay the place off completely. Just as soon as she can get her Gryphon coins turned in for Bits..." "That was quick." "Yeah, I live about two houses fromt he hospital. three fromt he gym. seven from the convenient store, and Dash lives about a few hundred meters up and to the left a bit." He spotted the cloud house. On her porch, Rainbow Dash was waiting. One foot on one of the posts, arms crossed. still in her gym uniform. A pair of sport shorts and a sports bra. Same as gilda. but she were dragging a stallion virtually into her own nest. "Whoa, slow down there, tiger.", Rainbow Dash stopped them. "Everything alright?" "Yeah. Jus t afew bruises. He dislocated and then slingshot his wing back into place. that was definitely a thing!", Gilda fan-girled. "I understand you admire that I did that, but I'm startign to feel a bit....dizzy. I think I need to lie down." And without warning, fell forward. Both gilda and Rainbow Dash caught him. "Ya know. He's a lot heavier than he looks." "Help me get him on the couch at least." "Isn't that, ya know, passing personal boundaries?" "Well, he said he was going to check ino the hotel, but I offered him to stay at my place instead." "Uhm...Yeah, I'll go with that, but if you get in trouble, I wasn't here." "Whatever, just help me." Rainbow Dash sighed, hefting one of his arms over her shoulder and lifting him alongside Gilda. they both brought him inside and had him on the couch.
