//-------------------------------------------------------// This is New... -by therichardater- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// How did I get here? //-------------------------------------------------------// How did I get here? When I awoke, I noticed that this was NOT my bed. How, you ask, did I notice this? Well, for starters, my bed isn't at all earth like, with grass and stuff. And last time I checked, nobody in my house, which is on a cloud, by the way, has a giant spider. As I lazily opened my eyes, I grabbed the spider by one of it's back legs, and threw it off my face. I stood up, groaning because of my back. As I looked around, I noticed I wasn't on Earth anymore, but I was on a very familiar planet. I don't know what the name is, because it's never used on the show. But I'll just call it, 'Magical Talking Horse World', and leave it at that. Yep, I was in Equestria. On the ground beside me, was a note. It read, 'TRG, you are in Equestria, if you haven't figured that out yet. You also cannot leave this planet until you complete season three, at least. How you got here, you will have to figure out yourself, with, you guessed it, the Mane Six. This note will self destruct in three, two, one.' BOOM! I rubbed the soot off my face, I heard stirring from the cottage near me. Before the owner could come out, I flew away. When I got to where i was going, which was the roof of the bakery, I found another note. All it said was, 'And you do have to help.' BOOM! I swear, when I find out who put me here, I'm going to kill him/her with fire. Now, just to wait for Twilight. I didn't have to wait long, as I saw a purple baloon in the distance. I jumped down, scaring ponies in the process. As I started walking, I heard the whispers. Oh those whispers, they're like yelling to me. But, you learn to get used to it over the years. The thing you never get used to, is what they're saying. Things like, 'Who is that?' And, 'There's a dark energy pulsating off of him.' And my personal favorite, 'What the hell is that?!' You need to learn to ignore people like that, or your life would be nothing but hate. Here, though, in Equestria, the whispers are much better. They have whispers like, 'Woah, what is that? It's cool!' And, 'Is that a human?' One brave little filly stopped me. "Are you a human? 'Cause my friend thinks you're a monkey." She asked. "Well," I said, "your friend is almost right. Long ago, humans were monkeys, but I was like, forget this noise, I need someone to talk to. And I took a good portion of monkeys, and turned them into humans. But I need to know. What's your name, little one?" She looked up at me with bright purple eyes and said, "I'm Scootaloo, the one and only! But what's your name?" She asked. I smiled at her, "My name is The Ring Guy, but you can call me TRG." I told her. "You want to be friends?" She somehow managed to brighten up even more. "I sure do!" She practically yelled, coming in for a hug. As I hugged her, the ponies surrounding us started clopping. (That means clapping, get your head out of the gutter!) Then, a thought hit me. "Hey Scoots, where do you live?" I asked her. Her smile faltered a little. "Well, I live at the orphanage, why?" "Well, I was wondering if you would like to live with me. I live up there, you know." I said, pointing to the sky. She frowned. "I would, but I can't, because I can't fly. But how can you get up there, or even stay on the cloud? You don't have wings, and you aren't a pegasus." I snickered. "Well, that's a special cloud that I created, and anything can walk on it. And," I said, picking her up, "I can fly." I blasted off, rocketing torward my house. As I landed on the special cloud, I softly put her down. "How's it feel?" I asked. She looked up at me with the biggest smile I've ever seen. "It feels great! Why have I never tried to get on a cloud before?" She yelled. I walked over to her, kneeled down and focused a magical energy into my thumb, turning it a light blue. I then pressed my thumb onto her forehead. This kind of magical energy is supposed to teach her everything about flying, and grow her wings out some. It even teaches her how to manipulate wind to be able to fly without the use of wings. I took my thumb off of her. "Now," I said, "if you want to live here, we're gonna need some rules. You can have friends over, but you need to ask first. And do not show anyone where my house is, unless I say it's okay. Okay?" She smiled. "No problem! There are more rules at the orphanage, so just two is okay." Then, I remembered something. "Scoots, I will be leaving in about five years though. You know this isn't my world, and when I leave whether or not you're coming is up to you. Would you like to come?" She pondered the thought before answering. "Sure, I would love to come to your world. But, won't they think a talking pony with wings would be weird?" I smiled, knowing she would say that. "Yeah, they would, but not a regular girl, which is why I'll need you to practice something. Follow me." I said, walking to a room. "This is your room decorate it however you want, but I need you to come over here." She walked over to me. "This button, will turn you into a human, like me. Whenever you're up here, and have some free time, press this. And practice stuff like getting dressed, writing, and walking. The dresser over there has your clothes in it, but I have an out fit set out. When I leave, push the button, and get dressed." And with that, I left. Ten minutes later, I heard a thump, and then Scoots saying, "Uhh, TRG, I need your help." Smiling, I stood up to go help her. She had her shirt on backwards, and she tried to put her shorts on upside down, but she had her underwear right. After I helped her fix her clothes, I started helping her with her new joints. I moved each finger slowly, until she could do it on her own. I did the same thing with her shoulders, elbows, back, neck, knees, wrists, and feet. I grabbed her a pen, and showed her how it's used. Teaching her to walk was slightly harder, considering that her knees now bent the opposite way. But we eventually, she could walk across the hallway. Oh, I never described her clothes. Her shirt was black, and it said 'Rainbow Rocks' in pink. If you don't know what that is you can hardly call yourself a MLP fan. Anyway, she wore blue jean shorts, and black sneakers. And she still had her wings. I guess the button didn't take them away. Well, that's it for now, join me soon when Twilight gets here, and meets everybody.
