It's another day in service to the Equestrian Empire for Spike when he finds himself embroiled in a conspiracy against the Princesses when Twilight suddenly falls asleep. To keep up the appearance of the Princesses as indomitable rulers, Spike carries out Twilight's royal duties while keeping her condition a secret from prying hooves. To top it all off, everypony seems to think that he is the one responsible for all of it.
