//-------------------------------------------------------// So... What Now? -by TwilightWriter- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// I was bored... //-------------------------------------------------------// I was bored... Twas the end of everything and the four princesses have survived the end of the universe. To help themselves from insanity from the infinite, floaty, blackness, they had stuck together as a team, using each other's infinite magic to light the dark way. Of course, as any lonely, boring circumstance as this would be, it was boring. Boring as all heck. So boring they stopped caring about anything anymore. They didn't care when they snored, the didn't care if they ate, and they didn't even care if they- he, ehm... defecated wherever they wanted. They just floated around doing nothing. No priorities, no problems, and certainly no things to do. "Hey guys?" Twilight drearily began, "I'm booooooooored." Luna spoke first, "We know Twilight. We know. Why don't we check up on Cadence?" "Alright." Twilight replied. "Hey Cadence." Cadence quickly woke up from her short nap with a loud, unprincessy type of sound. Like a pig snorted and farted at the same time. She spoke with the tiredness of the rest of the princesses. "What is it? I was sleeping." "Have you stopped counting yet?" Twilight asked. Cadence cringed, then stretched. "Mmmmm... Oh dangit I stopped counting." Twilight and Luna both gave out a loud groan. "Do you at least remember what you stopped on?" Luna asked. "Uhm... fifty-eight...." Cadence fella asleep again. Luna looked at Cadence. "Fifty-eight what? Tell me." Cadence's eyes opened up again. It looked like there was lead in the bags of her eyes. "Fifty-eight... years..." Luna was honestly shocked. Fifty-eight years? And they'd done nothing? Absolutely nothing at all? What were they to do here though? There was nothing left! They had to do something! Something they hadn't done within' they're eons of life. Something new. "Twilight," Luna began, "we must do something! It's been too long." Twilight looked at Luna, "There is nothing to do. Well actually... Tia seems to always be having a good time. We should talk to her." "Twilight no-" Luna was interrupted. "Oi Tia? You dead yet?" Celestia quickly swam to the two mares. Luna didn't bother make a movement of annoyance since, well, there was no point. Celestia twitched and bent at random intervals all the time, it's amazing she hadn't burnt her muscles out. She'd been doing it for fifty-eight years. "Hey Tia anything on what we should do?" Twilight asked Celestia. Celestia just stood still for a moment. "BANANAS!" Celestia maniacally laughed as her back arched backwards unnaturally, then she curled up again and continued to twitch. "So... Bananas?" Twilight asked again. Celestia just giggled in reply. "Hehehe yehehes!" Those giggles turned into another fit of maniacal laughter. "What about bananas?" Celestia completely stopped again. "Do you like bananas?" Twilight was about to answer when she felt Luna put a hoof on her shoulder. Twilight looked at her. Luna shook her head, then looked at Twilight. "She's gone Twilight. She isn't there anymore." Luna said. Twilight took in what Luna had said and looked to her old teacher. Luna did the same. Their hearts sank in memory of their old friend, and tears floated from their eyes. Celestia continued. "So you don't know? SO you don't know if you like bananas? I know where you can find out! On the MOOO-cuech?" Celestia stopped, the sound of her choking on her own spit filling the non-existent air. And that was it. She just stopped. Twilight and Luna both simultaneously cried, knowing Celestia had just died. Luna caressed Twilight as Twilight burying her head into Luna's chest. And thus begun the death of what was left. Or so they thought. For in a large cluster of gas, a star formed, and a new age began to begin. Life went by slowly for the three. Their stomachs growled for attention, their unmoving limbs spawned pins and needles everywhere within them. It was hard form them each. The next to go was Cadence. Having used drunken spells to give her "comfort", she gave herself an overdose, and died. Only Twilight and Luna were left now. It was still just as soul rending. They were always tired, hungry, and hopeless. They wanted to kill themselves, but that was not the way to go, Luna would say. She would not give up, Luna's courage gave Twilight strength. Even if it didn't feel as if it mattered, Twilight still had Luna, and Luna still had her. Without Cadence, they lost track of time. It had been too long for them to count. It was surprising they had lived this long, even with the years that were counted. But of course, their times had to eventually come. Twilight had been noticing Luna coughing up blood recently. She din't know how long she had, but she appreciated her as much as she could. Luna took a while to go out, it was like she was actually hanging on for her life. At one point Luna told Twilight to come near her. Twilight did as she was told, coming two feet from her original distance to caress Luna. "Luna what is it?" Twilight asked. Luna looked at Twilight, and smiled. "Twilight, I *cough*, I want to tell you something." Twilight knew what this usually meant. And she didn't like it. "Wh-what is it Luna?" Luna coughed, and began. "Twilight, it has been a long time. Last time I checked was in the septillions. We've been here for a long time. And I've enjoyed being in it. I've been alone on the moon for a thousand years, filled with hatred. I must say, I would rather spend a million with somepony like you. We are what keep us alive, we are what keeps us going through the hard times. Because throughout all of the pain and suffering, at least I have something that I can stay alive for. I'm sorry, but I *cough*, believe it is my time." Twilight could feel her throat burn, and her tears float off of her face. "D-d-don't l-l-leave..." Luna put a hoof up to Twilights cheek and smiled, "Twilight, thank you for being my motivation to live. Thank you for not giving up on you. Thank you for being alive." Luna's hoof began to falter as it fell lower. "Thank you for not being a coward. Goodbye." A tear began to softly generate on Luna's lifeless eyes. "LUNA!!!" Twilight cried in agony. "Don't leave me!" Twilight put her head to Luna's chest and wept bitterly for hours. 564 years later... A white space craft approached a small blue/lavender UFO in space. The craft came to a stop, and a large white humanoid figure with a tube attached to it began to leave the craft and toward the UFO. As it came closer a voice came into it's ear-piece, "Well? What is it?" The humanoid replied, "Houston, we have a pony."
